Killian staggered a bit as he came out of the illusion that he was under. He slowly takes a view of what was going on. He sees that several of his friends were slowly getting out of the haze of there own hell's. His sights look at Scorpio and his poison golems. Along with the military moving in on the golems at the psychopath. The swordsman quickly re-grouped with the other active senshi and knight. He sees Valdis and facepalms as this did not look good for them and there appearance of being non covenant. Then hears Sophia and he just wanted to scream at her. They had other things to worry about aside from saving people. Then with Amarisa he turns to her and listens to what she had in mind. And to Kail it was sound since none of them could strike at melee range. Due to the golems and the barrier that Scorpio put up.

"Its our best shot right now since a good amount of us are melee fighters. I'm in on this since purifications are the only way to make sure he stays dead. I don't know if I can transfer energy right now, We need at least someone with some fighting strength, since the military will attack us after we get rid of Scorpio. Since the ones attacking us and Scorpio look like there battle ready. Plus it would be there best move tacticly against us" said Killian as he knew they were in bad shape from this battle. Even he was tired and just on empty. His body only running on jet fumes and his shear determination to live.

"......But if you need my power, then so be it and take it. We are damned if we do and damned if we don't" he said as they would be in a constant battle and they were fatigued. Easy pickings for the military if they acted on them quickly.

What? What the hell was going on here?! One minute she was locked on target ready to fire a second time. Then the next minute shrouded in complete and total darkness. Had she lost her mind? What happened to the target? What had happened to those kids?!

Vega froze in uncertainty when her surroundings changed. Doubt raced in the woman's mind as she held her place. The target was no longer in sight.

" Damn" She mumbled, A sharp pain prickling up her spin. It was like knives and needles stabbing away at her flesh. Followed by a eerily familiar scene that played out before her. A lab?  There was a woman on the table. A woman that looked just like...Her. Vega's expression turned to one of horror. Was that her on the table?! What the ~ An just like that, the vision faded. Thus leaving her alone once again on the roof top with a whole new set of questions.

The scientist said she was a prototype. What did that mean? A prototype to what? There were all these questions, yet no answer. Was that illusion something that thing in the park created?

NAZO!

Vega jumped at the sudden scream. Her eyes widen when she saw the tower of flame shooting up from the ground. The purple hair girl, a child she had met in a park much smaller than then one.  Her cry bringing Vega's attention back to the battle field. Those kids... They were fighting this being without regards for their own life. They had abilities similar to...Similar to... A click went off in Vega's head again. A tugging pressure taking hold of her heart. The sky grew darker when the being roared out in rage. Then there was the soldiers she could see hunkered down. Her right eye glowing bright red as she scrunched her nose in disgust.

It was like a rush of endorphins that caused her to creep a wicked smile. She had completely lost it. However, apparently she hadn't gone off the deep in just yet.  The kids had the means to stop this thing. However she could tell they were weak and wouldn't be able to protect themselves from the military if they decide to turn on them. So she reloaded the rocket, took aim once more but did not fire. She would save her energy for what ever might happen next. She couldn't fire at Scorpio for the kids were too close. She would have to wait, for now. 

Yinko jogged up to Sophia and the other girl, the white haired one that seemed to be proposing a plan. Picking up the Beowulf, checking the mag and action, he took a defensive position beside the brunette, weapon at the ready, aimed precisely at Scorpio's torso.

"How bad do we need to hold him?" he shouted over the noise. "Do you need suppressive fire, or are we talking getting into his head again?"

At that moment, David noted the military presence, scowling. "We can't stick around! The Self Defense Forces are going to envelope us, assuming they don't hammer us with artillery to make a hole for their frontal assault."

As the illusion vanished, it took Yuki a couple of moments to reorient herself to reality. All of a sudden she realized now was not the time to be thinking about such thoughts and ran quickly over to where the others were appearing to regroup. Although the poisonous golems that had suddenly emerged appeared to be slow and hindered by the military’s attack….they still didn’t exactly have the luxury to stand around planning like this for too long.

”Well whatever plan you guys are coming up with, I suggest we enact it quickly. I have energy to spare if that’ll help…..if anything, I might be able to create an opening for escape if we need it.” Although of course Yuki wouldn’t try and directly attack actual soldiers…a well-placed fireball might clear them away from an area long enough for the group to make a quick exit. She stood with the group, scanning the scene around them ready to make a possible move should they be attacked.

Keitha walked over to Ama, Sophia, and Kenny as fast as she could considering she was still a little disoriented from the illusion. "Oi, whateva ya need ta do mate, let's do it as soon as possible. If ya need more energy feel free to absorb some of mine too. It may help ta give it a little kick. Lightnin is raw energy. I'm not a hundred percent sure, but it can't hurt ta try eh?"

As the battle situation developed, the advancing squad had to fall back due to the large volume of mindless entities that were rising from the ground. As they fell back behind a position near, behind, or otherwise around the transport vehicle, Kurio turns and sees the odd boys and girls gathering, acting as though they were up to something, meanwhile, the bald one fires a few shots at a golem that was close by blowing it to pieces, then grunting as he went near Saeki.

"Lieutenant, I think we really are dealin' with a Class V..a Zodiac." he grumbles out as he begins to reload his shotgun clip. Saeki meanwhile was aiming a precision shot that had three golems stand in just the right point, firing the shot as a high velocity shell rips through the first two and lands in the third which explodes from a small charge that was inside that round. He pops out the sniper shell and then looks at his cohorts with a grim nod.

"Yeah...I get what you're hinting at...but I don't know if an airstrike can keep these buildings intact. It's a good sized park, but still..." he says, frowning slightly. The rocket launcher wielding soldier rolls back, having taken a shot to the leg, but it was only grazing at best as he glares at his energy burnt flesh.

"Yeah, but if that Zodiac has it's way, all of this district and more will be eliminated...have to do the math." he grumbles out as well, causing Saeki to sigh a little.

"...I can do math, but that doesn't mean I have to like it.." he states, dropping the rifle and popping open a weapons panel on the troop transport, pulling out what looked like another rifle, but with no ammunition entry. As he turns to face Scorpio, running out and taking a crouching position, he shouts out to the rest of his squad.

"Cover me until the airstrike then get behind cover!" he says, turning on the laser and aiming it at Scorpio's midsection, a persistent red beam appearing on his body. Kurio reaches up to his earpiece and calls in to the base.

"This is Lieutenant Kurio Saeki, ID Number.....we have encountered and engaged a Class V Covenant entity in the city and have set up coordinates and visual confirmation for an airstrike. This is not a drill or exercise of any sort. We are at emergency level Red-CV..." he says, going through the protocol, though there was likely time to call it off if that came to pass.

(This is paraphrased actions for Lance and Kousuke as well, the player of those characters told me his actions for purposes of moving forward, but had a lack of time recently to act)

While Kishin had exhausted the last of his energy, he found he was still able to keep the one golem he put together to form a defense for the guardians donating energy to the attack Amarissa was planning.

Meanwhile, Lance was seemingly in a trance, maintaining his song that empowered his allies. There would be enough time for Amarissa to gather her energy...

...but not much. The dense power was growing rapidly within Scorpio...more violent power was being unleashed by the second.

Amarissa nodded at each person that offered their energy, a determined look on her face. There would be enough, there had to be. Taking her stance, she didn't say a word as she aimed her bow and began to mentally gather all the energy around her. It was interesting to say the least, as each person's energy tasted different or had a different feel to it. Valdis's was dark, almost burning against her own purity. Sophia's was a fount of love, a sort of gold if she had to put a color to it. Kenny's was colder, Yuki's and Kail's being hotter but not burning like Val's. Kietha's came in, and Amarissa had to grit her teeth. It was charged and tingling, like lightning. Altogether, very odd.

As she pulled all the energy she could, her arrow began to glow. It started white, then as each energy poured in would flash a different color. Finally, when she had all she could hold it settled. The base being white, with flashes of other colors running around like electricity. Red, purple, gold, and blue, mostly. She tried to leave enough energy to each person to at least hold their transformations. "Alright, it's almost done. Just need to fire. Ya'll go hide and de transform somewhere, then spread out. We can't let the military catch us after this," she said to the others.

Re-focusing on Scorpio, she raised her voice. A look of anger and determination settled on her face, and she poured more emotion into the bow. "Scorpio! We are the Guardians of this world and you have been deemed a threat unworthy to live!" she announced, having no idea where any of this was coming from. "Now you face the sentence of our Judgement Arrow!!!!" she yelled as let loose on the string, the arrow almost a ball of energy and light as it sailed through the air, headed straight for what was left of the Zodiac.

Sophia frowns as Amarissa yells at her, but turns back to Scorpio. There were a ton of things she wanted to say, but now wasn’t really the time. Amarissa’s plan to purify Scorpio is an unexpected turnaround, but nods since she’s free to use it for such a cause. She cringes a little as the others suggest removing Scorpio from existence. “That’s not any better…” she grumbles.

As Amarissa gathers energy, it’s somewhat of an amazing sight to watch. She feels like she could sleep forever now though. Sophia frowns again as Amarissa tells her to leave. It's an unfathomable suggestion. “No way. I plan to see this through to the end. Besides, what sort of teammate would I be if I left you behind?”

She looks back at Scorpio as she prepares to fire. There was some one burning question that she had. The pendant around her collar glows slightly as she takes a look at Scorpio’s heart. She wanted to know what was there and to make sure that Ama could save him.

When Sophia looks into the heart of the beast, she would sense intense pain and agony, as if something within the core of Scorpio was rotten to the core. Looking deeper she will find an almost obsessive desire for the affection of a woman. Looking at the deepest part though, she would see something in a distinct contrast. A loyalty to a king that has been suppressed by years of brainwashing and dark magic, it was the faintest hint of something that seemed completely lost on the surface: humanity.

Meanwhile, the fire blast doesn't penetrate the shield from Valdis, but when the arrow of Judgment from Amarissa is at full power, his eyes widens as his teeth grit. He would move to defend himself but the spell he had cast made it difficult for him to move. The arrow once launched screams through the air and grows in luminescence and intensity to the point of blinding anyone and everyone who directly looked at it for a moment. The arrow crashes into the dark shield around Scorpio and drills through after two seconds of resistance, slamming straight into the body of the man.

An inhuman roar could be heard and Scorpio's body began to flail about, distorting in shape and size to various lengths as if it were elastic. The corruption that made up his body was rapidly being annihilated. The Zodiac felt nothing like this before: the burning, the incredible pain...but eventually, it turned to warmth...almost forgiveness. The individual under the shroud began to feel his mind being cleared after years upon years of distortion.

The body of Scorpio would bleed but at the same time be cauterized by the intense purification and heat. The black shroud that surrounded his skin shatters, crystallizing into a white rocky substance and as the light fades, they would see the wounded and corrupted body of Scorpio close his eyes for the last time, and slump forward, landing on his knees, then falling into the snow, unmoving at last. As the last flicker of life fades from the Zodiac's body, the manifestation of a young man appears . This time, he radiated no hatred, nor malice...but acceptance...

"...It is finally over..." the apparition states, his voice softer and different. He looks at the ground with disgust at the form below and frowns. "...Forgive me my King, my trespass against you so long ago. I was manipulated and deceived by Beryl's magics..." he states with genuine remorse as he stares at the body on the ground. He would linger for a bit...hovering and gradually fading.

It’s a lot of emotion to take in for Sophia. She can barely comprehend how a single person could live this way for so long. However, there was the humanity that she knew existed, just hidden behind everything. “Monsters really don't exist,” she says quietly. Her eyes seemed focused in the distance as she stares into something that the other senshi and knights could not see.

Then, with the might of the arrow, all of it burns away. She’s a little fearful at first when Scorpio appears to be pained, but that seems to go away. She can feel the energy shift. “Thank you,” she says to Amarissa, before moving closer to Scorpio.

The manifestation takes her off-guard, but hanging around Aglaea made her more comfortable around incorporeal creatures. She smiles at little at the apparition of the young man, glad that the fight and Scorpio’s pain was over. “I’m sorry that we couldn’t save your body, but I hope you can achieve some sort of peace now. The greatest of people have mercy. I am sure that you will find your king’s forgiveness.” She wasn’t sure who this king was, but at this point, it didn’t matter much to her. They were alive, innocent people were saved, Scorpio was saved to the best of their ability, and the fight was over. She’s pretty thankful all things considered.

Amarissa had to close her eyes for a brief moment in the light of the arrow. When she opened them again, they widened. It had worked! She could see the body of Scorpio and watched the changes in amazement. She heard the ghostly voice and smiled.

Then, with a sudden rush, the lack of energy caught up with her. Vision blurred, she tottered on her feet before falling first to her knees and then flat to the ground. The cool of concrete pressed against her face but it felt warm to her and her eyes fluttered shut. Passed out, the Moon senshi de-transformed. All the military would see was another victim lying still, like so many others.

"Well would ya listen to that, Sophia may have been on to something"

She looked over at Ama when she went down, her expression not changing from a look of stone.

"Kenny, cover her"

She stepped over the unconscious body of Ama, Kenny hadn't done much during the fight. He'd be the one to take care of the others...she had something to finish. Val strolled over to the apparition, her facial expression pained. Her fist her gripped tightly, claws digging into her palms. She stopped only a foot away from the image.

"The youma attack like they do because of spells? Show me the order of events that took place up until this moment"

Her eyes glowed a little brighter as she reached a clawed hand out pressing one finger to the ghost like forehead.

Killian was drained as the massive combination attack went through and saw it land its mark. He saw Scorpio wither in agony as the purifiying energies ripped through him. Then his body crystalizing and his armor fading away like something out of a role playing game. With the corrupted body following afterwards, but to his surprise he sees a phantom of the orginal form of Scorpio. Looking very relived and free from his corrupted form. It brought other thoughts to his mind about this lost era that the two cats spoke of. Killian stabs his sword into the ground to balance himself and with a shear amount of will he keeps himself alert and awake.

He sees both Sophia and Valdis speak with the ghost but Killian's mind was now in full panic. The military could strike at them at any moment. Plus with Amarissa detransformed, things did not look good for the group. Killian did not remember how Kenny fought as a knight and did not feel like putting his faith in him. His mind was calculating on what they needed to do "Sailor Venus.....Nyx.....I think we should retreat now. Our military friends might not give us the pleasure for rest" he called out to Sophia and Valdis. Since he did remember them firing at them as well as Scorpio.

The redhead looks at Amarissa and was going to act but staggers again "....crap....."he uttered as the drain from two combination attacks, using his armor twice, using his new sword skill, and among other things. Killian was feeling the effects of a massive amount of energy drained. He used his sword like a brace to keep himself steady. Killian knew to take the ally ways to try and escape he did not want to leave the group though. He looks over at some of the others "Can someone get Moon out of here" since out of everyone she was the most vunerable out of everyone there. So her safety was his main priority over most of the others at the moment.

As the light from the Moon senshi’s attack fades Kousuke looks feel his legs begin to wobble. Come on now, we’ve still got some things to do. He tells himself as he staggers over to where Amarissa was standing and catches her before she hits the ground. “Omphh,” he grunts as he staggers under the weight of another human being. He chuckles inwardly a bit about how this must look from the outside, but as his eyes come to rest on the face of his friend his expression softens and turns fond.

“You did good.” He tells her and squeezes her softly before draping turning around and picking her up in a piggyback. He’d wanted to do a princess carry for the effect, but given the fact he was having a hard enough time walking as is, this didn’t seem like the best idea.

As he begins to hobble away with Amarissa on his back he turns to see the ghostly image of the young man and thinks about what he says. “Hey Scorpio! Endymion forgives you, even if I don’t!” he shouts and then continues to hobble away…he hadn’t exactly had a good experience with the MPs the last time he had met them after all. But as he leaves he smiles at the work they had done today and at the pleasant weight on his back. What the hell am I going to say to the savior of the city when she wakes up? He wonders and worries with a smile on his face as he leaves.
