It had been a rough couple of days, several youma battles too close together. Honestly, it was crazy how many of them were popping up now and strong too. Amarissa was sure they hadn't seen the last of the zodiac woman from the boat though. Still, she needed some downtime and after doing all her homework assignments, she was left stumped. Looking around her room, she let her mind drift as she tried to decide what to do. The senshi found herself thinking about the time they had all visited Valdis and how she had expressed wanting to paint the mansion.

Amarissa pulled on some faded jeans and a long sleeve white shirt that had a tie dye design on the front, which she paired with a rainbow scarf. She packed her bag with her painter's gear: an apron, some napkins, her paints and brushes, and the pallet. She picked out a large canvas and a medium one, just in case. She got permission from her mom, who had brought her work home again since she wanted to keep an eye on her daughter, to borrow the car, a silver Lexus. She knew she was doing this a bit backwards, but either she'd go visit Valdis or she'd go paint somewhere else.

Finally, she pulled her phone out of her pocket and hit the button for Valdis. She had all the senshi on speed dial. She waited until finally someone picked up. "Hey Valdis? It's Ama," she answered, "Can I come over? I want to paint your house."

That blasted phone again! She glared at the buzzing that came from the mini coffin wrapped in rosary and ofuda. Although she was loathed to admitting it, it did have its uses. Begrudgingly she released the beast from its shackles, expecting it to be Sophia. She was after all the only one who contacted her on this blasted thing. Her plucked to perfection eyebrows shot up in surprise, the number was not Sophia's but Ama's. She flipped the phone open right before it got to voicemail...Ama didn't even wait for her to say hello but got straight to the point.

"That can be arranged, I'm actually on my way home from the shrine right now. It will be about a half an hour. Listen while I have you on the phone Sophia wants to get together to pick out dresses for this dance. I've offered my closet for raiding. Would you like to stay over for dinner tonight and we can call the other girls over?"

No time like the present, in fact Sophia had just asked her about coming over this morning. She checked her watch; there was enough time to prepare for guests.

Amarissa had almost forgotten about the dance and sighed in relief at Valdis's offer. "Half an hour is great. I'd be very honored to raid your closet and stay for dinner, that sounds perfect actually with the other girls. Maybe I'll paint a picture of us all modeled in our dresses after wards," she agreed,musing a bit.

"Um, sorry about the short notice," she added, as she remembered her social graces and that most people found such sudden plans irritating. She continued to get ready, going out and getting strapped in the car. It would take her a half hour at least to get there anyway, with traffic.

"Don't dwell on the short notice; I prefer to do things in the spur of the moment. Keeps things amusing yes?"
Valdis continued to make her way to the subway where she would take the train home. Then there was the walk up to her home. She would probably met Ama on the way there so that worked out well.
"I will see you there"

She hung up and sent a quick text off to Sophia to gather everyone who was willing and to come to her house for dinner around six. Valdis then replaced the phone back into its cage and got on the train. Her estimate was accurate as the train pulled up just a few minutes before she had told Ama to meet her at her house. So she hurried along her way to start the hike up the long drive way...it was walks like these every day that kept her fit as she was. But she really had to beg her dad to let her at least start driving...it would solve so many issues.

Sophia looks at her phone. Looks like it was time for everyone to gather. She sends a message to all the senshi to convene at Valdis’ house before heading over herself. Hopefully, there would be less ghost appearances this time. She’s not sure she could do that all over again.

It takes Sophia awhile to take the train to the outskirts of town and then walk the rest of the way to the mansion. Another carriage ride would have been amazing. She arrives a little late, but not too much.

With the same grey-blue double breasted coat and tam and teal scarf, she arrives at the doorstep just she had a few day earlier. Cold, but excited, she knocks on the door.

Kaguya was helping her father with a few things at his store until she got the text and read it. As it came from Sophia and it was a meeting at Val's house. She checked her directory and saw that she had the girl's address. Shrugging as she did not add it her self or forgot it was added by someone else. None the less she figured that it would kill some time. "Father, I'm going to go see a friend I'll be home late" she said and her father was coming out from the back of the store carrying a finished katana. His long white hair was pulled up so that the sparks and flames would not set his hair on fire. His red eyes flicked over to his daughter.

"Alright, but please at least take one of my knives. I worry about you with all of those covenant wack jobs" he said and then pulls a display case door open and places a katana on a shelf. He then opens another one and gets the droor out and shows his daughter the pick of the litter. This caused Kaguya to sweatdrop and look at her father.

"But father.....everyone knows I'm made out of steel. Besides....knives are not my thing, I prefer to kick the crap out of them" Kaguya said and waved her father off as she knew that he meant well. But in the back of her mind she was kind of telling the truth. Since she was now a Sailor Senshi and could crack most Covenant skulls with her bare hands.

"Alright alright, at least let me give you some money to get there" said Shiro as he reaches into his pocket and gives Kaguya some money for getting to Valdis.

Kaguya just giggles and messes with her father's hair and left the store waving bye. She then made her way to Valdis's house. She gets there a bit after Sophia and walks up. She had on a long coat and a hat that would be very much in common with someone that lived in Russia. The coat was colored in a very dark blue color and had a fur like collar. "So are we the only two here that showed up" she said and walked up to her.

Keitha was sitting on her bed cross legged strumming at her guitar. She had been having a new song pop in her head that she couldn't shake. The only problem was she couldn't get the words to surface in her brain to connect with the strains of the music and make since, and quite frankly it was aggravating the hell out of her. She sighed setting her acoustic down rubbing her temples. It was then that her cell tweetered at signifying a text. She reached over picking up the phone reading the invite. She groaned, she had not been planning on going to the school dance. She hadn't gone to the ones in Ireland because she had never been invited.

She had contemplated sending a message back to Sophia saying no thanks she wasn't interested in going, but decided to go ahead and skip the "But it'll be lots of fun and everyone in the group will be there." message that she was sure was bound to follow to only cave in. So deciding to stay simple sent a text back saying "Alright, see ya then mate."

She got up getting dressed in black skinny jeans, her combat boots, a flannel shirt, and her leather jacket. She said a quick bye to her father as she left the house and headed towards Vals mansion.

She arrived in time to see Kaguya and Sophia both at the door, "Ello, Look at me I'm time again!!" She chuckled walking up next to them.

Amarissa parked out on the side of the street, making sure to grab her bag and the two canvases. Then she hiked the rest of the way in, arriving not too long after Kietha. She noticed that Kaguya and Sophia were both there already. "Hey guys. How is everyone this evening?" she asked politely.

Valdis hurried up the driveway; she had noticed a car was already parked at the end so apparently her timing wasn't spot on. She jogged up the fairly long drive way only to be greeted by a few people waiting on her doorstep. Her eyebrows shot up in surprise; she expected Ama early but she thought the others would arrive a bit latter. Well plans didn't always go as expected, but that was when one had to go with the flow. She walked up to them with an apologetic smile.

"I apologize, it took me a bit longer than expected to get back from the shrine grounds"

Valdis had change back into her normal clothes; her hair was pulled up in a high pony the tips of her purple locks falling down to the small of her back. She wore her long black cloak with the hems lined with grey fur. Black jeans were tucked into knee high boots; underneath she was wearing a grey sweater dress that Kail had given her. She stepped up to the door and took out her keys and unlocked it. She opened the door the let the others inside.

"Welcome back to the Himuro Mansion; a pleasure for you all to make it. Like before you can leave your shoes here at the entrance. We'll head to the kitchen and I can start whipping up something for us to eat."

Sophia nods to Kaguya when she shows up, “Hopefully, everyone else will get here soon. Excited for the dance?”

As Keitha comes up, “Well, here’s another one now. We might be a little early. I don’t think Valdis is home yet.”

She waves to Amarissa when she comes by, “Doing well. Seems like we’re mostly all here except a few. Unfortunately, the host is one of those people.”

“It’s fine. We weren’t out here that long,” Sophia responds to Valdis with a smile despite being a little cold.

Sophia walks in, leaving her boots at the entrance. “The kitchen is that way, right?” she says, partly remembering the way around the mansion.

Keitha smiled at Amarissa when she walked up, "Ello Ama." She then noticed Val as she pulled up, "No worries mate, it happens thanks again fer invitin me." As stepped into the mansion with the others, she mulled off her boots and leather jacket leaving them by the door. "An by the way Val, if ya want I wouldn mind helpin ou in tha kitchen, what about you guys? I think it has tha potential to be fun." She chuckled light heatedly.

"First time for me that is though" said Kaguya as she steps in to the house and gets her boots off. Then sees a coat hook and takes it off as well as her hat. What she was wearing underneath the coat was a purple long sleeve shirt and a knee high skirt that was white. Her socks were knee high as well as she follows everyone to the kitchen. "Well Kei-chan, that does sound fun. I don't think we have done something together yet besides the waterpark" she said giving Keitha her own nickname to the redhead. Kaguya looks around and sees the Himuro Mansion, eyeing some art displays that were around.

Amarissa moved into the entry way behind the others and removed her shoes. She set them and her art supplies down where Valdis indicated, but chose to keep her scarf. "That sounds great Valdis!" she said, following the others. "What sort of goodies did you have in mind?" She asked as she looked around. It was the same as last time and a good thing she wanted only to paint the outside. The inside was amazing and well decorated. She wondered if she'd be lucky enough to have her art up in important places someday.

Valdis paused and blinked for a moment, while looking at Kaguya.

"That is right you weren't apart of the sleep over; you missed your counterpart dressed up like a girl"

She giggled, however her expression turned to that of complete joy when Keitha brought forth an idea with potential for fun. A bunch of teenage girls raiding the kitchen; that will be an un expected surprise for her father to come home to. She was in Valdis stepped into her home and closed the door behind her. She took off her boots and hung up her jacket; her toes wriggling on the cold floor. She nodded towards Sophia when she asked if that was the correct way to the kitchen.

"I think you're the only one who's actually seen the kitchen; I don't think anyone else has been here since the sleep over. As for the goodies Ama I have nothing planned; so we can go with lucky charms idea and raid the kitchen. My home is your home; let's see what all of us can whip up."

She led the way to the kitchen; it was large with high end appliances and dark granite counter tops. There was enough room for all of them to raid away.

"Ok we got the pantry which is that door over there full of food; a well stocked fridge, and most of the cooking supplies are in the lower cabinets. Dishware in the top cabinets; have at it girls. But what shall we make first actual food or sweets? I'm in for sweets....does any one know how to make a cake from scratch? I have no clue..but I think we should make a cake...I haven't had cake in a LOOONG time."

Sophia shakes her head at the mention of Kousuke in a dress, “I think maybe that’s a sight that you were lucky to miss… I remember his wig fell off at one point. And he kept talking like a guy. Aactually, it was pretty hilarious. Surprisingly though, Kail managed to pass pretty well.”

“I’m guessing you don’t have one of those easy to make box mixes for cake?” Sophia asked, looking around the kitchen. “Well, we can decide on a type of cake, and then look for a recipe on the internet. Or if you have a cookbook, we can look in there. So long as you have flour, sugar, baking soda, eggs, butter, and milk, then we should be able to make a lot of things.” She pauses for a second, “Except icing. I don’t really know how to make icing. I’m sure there’s a recipe for that somewhere too though.”

While going through cabinets and pulling out basic ingredients, she asks the group, “So what kind of cake does everyone want? If we have chocolate, I vote for molten chocolate cake. Or red velvet…”
