"He didn't need to; I know the one who led the attack personally. His name is Kurio; he happens to be the half brother of one of my friends from the village. I run into him time to time visiting her in the hospital. I will be picking his brain soon enough; however I'm going to be going after a much bigger fish to help get the military off our backs...at least slightly."

She would have to speak to Kurio soon; she would likely run into him at a hospital visit..She looked back at Kail swirling her tea in the cup.

"Honestly I am hesitant of allying ourselves with the military fully; so the matter is going to be dealt with delicately. I still think there is something off about the Japanese military...if the Senshi were to have any connections I rather it be set up through a third party. Everyone's safety is my top priority...and the fact that the military had resorted to human experimentation is yet another reason why I rather have distance between the Senshi's involvements with them...I think Jun and his company may be the best barrier for us in that case. He is involved with the military but not quite under their control."

Like a chess board the pieces needed to be moved in place. When the subject moved on Valdis closed her eyes, reviewing the information that had been presented to her via the vision.

"That may be due to the lunar queens involvement... the world changed after the massacre of the moon kingdom....I do not believe you will find any information through your myths....I'm afraid the reason they coincide is due to the covenants wish to strike fear and confusion in our hearts. They took on persona's to match the mythological tales....I think our only source of finding out the path is through the Zodiac members themselves..."

She smiled as her shoulders sagged.

"Out of everyone I am the one that stands the best chance. Since we defeated Scorpio....there is an opening for another Zodiac..."

She had already given this some thought.

"From what I observed the queen needs her generals to act on a looser leash then the rest of the underlings...they operate with their free will although it is manipulated through some sort of hypnosis....As for me loosing myself...well I will have to find the strength not to. I will need to find and build a firm foundation on what makes me ...me....right now my greatest weakness is my fear of having to sit on the sidelines whilst I watch everything get ripped away from me again. To be powerless again...to have to see more faces added to their numbers."

Vals eyes began to harden into a glint of determination.

"The senshi will need to know how to bring down each Zodiac...Scorpio was on the lower ranks out of all of them...our fights will only get harder from here. To bring down something you need to know how it ticks...and if I do infiltrate...I can perhaps sew doubt into the cause the Zodiac think there fighting. I will make the cracks in their foundation that will let them topple when the Senshi strike....we're running out of time. Logically you cannot say I'm wrong."

Chances were whether or not she had approval...this was a path she was going to take. She would be going to a place where Kail wouldn't be able to protect her...

"I see, well I was not exactly saying work with the military.....But more like as with your argument with trying to get a mole into the covenant. We would need one for the military......I am still at odds with this Jun guy. The last time you described him....he had something odd about him. It still unsetlles me. And so far it still worries me greatly.....I am very very torn right now. One hand yes agrees we need dirt on these guys. But at the same time again I am worried about you as a friend. You might be in a situation where none of us can save your ass if your in too deep" said Kail as he again spoke his feelings on this. Hell he was worried for Valdis and all of this was screaming bad idea. But knew once this girl had set her plan into motion no one could really stop her.

"Although....I don't think anyone can stop you now since I am guessing you put things already into motion" Kail felt pissed even more that the psychic attack was eating into him. "Right now I feel frustraited more then anything right now. I kept saying that I could come up with some sort of battle plan. And each time I never have any time to do it. Because of some damn lose cannon starts to go in guns blazing. And I feel that everyone just sees me as another person to kill things" he said as the thoughts of being kinda useless had gotten to him. Even though he pushed that psychic attack back at Scorpio. It ate ate him for awhile and it was brought on to the fact that Valdis just had something even before he could.

Or even perhaps his own intelligence was not up to par. Although Kail felt that it was fueling his fury and had to calm down.

"I'm quicker to throw my lot in with Jun; there is something off about him but it's no more off then what I am"

She only smiled in response when he said she probably already started to set things in motion..it was true she already had. It helped to see the future sometime; it allowed you to put pieces into place to your best advantage.

"We can only hope I'll see the situation before I get into a position I cannot get myself out of. But out of all of us I believe I'm the expendable one, I'm not a senshi so if I get caught you guys can continue to move forward. But I appreciate your concern; I was beginning to think you just thought of me as an annoyance."

She thought about Kails predicament, he had good ideas; and had potential to lead a group with people like Sophia and Ama...

"On a battle field you need to be able to come up with a plan on the fly; epically in our case where we're flying blind until we get to the fight...and when you make a plan not only do you need to take in the abilities of each team mate but their personalities as well. If you have a loose cannon or two you work a plan around them. You have your tank and slap people then you have the few who will run strategy in the background. Take the Scorpio battle; when I proposed my plan I knew the tank and spanks would likely go off and do their own thing...you for example flew off the handle and then went and did exactly what I wanted you to do. Smack Scorpio around more while Ama Sophia and a couple of others teamed up and used her purification arrow as I had suggested. My point is in this group there are going to be hot heads who think they know what to do better; if you can predict what they will do you can form a strategy with those that will listen. Battle strategy and then carrying out the plans are two different things...If you want a plan to be carried out talk to Sophia. She's going to be the voice people tend to want to listen to."

That's what Val had been doing; she found Sophia to be a very useful voice when it came to putting suggestions in others heads. They took it better than they would if it directly came out of her mouth. Really when it came to leading the group it was all about the mind games, you needed to know how to speak to each person.

"I've watched the group respond best to Sophia; frankly the cute I want to love everything face is quite disarming. If I want someone to do the exact opposite of what I what I tell them to do I speak it cause simply I'm not a face people trust for some odd reason..."

Normally she wouldn't tell anyone her strategy of playing the team as she had been doing but simply put she was going to be going to a place where her meddling would not be as strong with the group...Kail would need to step in her place in some areas.

Kail did not feel easy with Jun, although he did not know the man personaly. The red head might have made a assumption but at the same time something told him to be weary. And then he looked furious at the fact that in some aspect. Valdis saw herself as someone that could be thrown out to suit someones needs. But right at the moment perhaps it was not the right time to let some of his emotions run wild. So he just calmed himself down with another cup of tea. Then he hears Valdis's advice and just stayed silent and let her speak. He gawked a bit when she said that he acted in a certant degree, angry but let her speak. After she was done talking his face went to a look that was in pure consentration. To let what she said sink into his head. After a bit he sighed and just rubbed his forehead.

"I think that one of my failures is that I am a writer that writes this kind of stuff. And I try and do what I did in these stories by these characters it blows up in my face. Since its a fiction then what's in reality. I need to get better....I thank you for your advice" he said and saw the oven was pre-heated and goes into the freezer to get something out. A rare treat for him was pizza and gets it out. "We both look like wrecks.....why don't you get cleaned up? I'll see if I can find something that you can wear" he said and starts getting a pan for the oven.

Valdis read his facial expressions as she spoke; she could tell he was less then pleased about the expendable part but logically it was the truth. Out of all of them she had the best chance of pulling this sort of mission off successfully...however if things did go wrong it wouldn't be a large hit to the man power of the team. The only thing she would worry about is who would meddle in her place if things did go wrong. However she was more than sure Nazo would step in to move things into place; as he had been to begin with. When he analyzed the reasons for his own short comings a small smile graced her lips.

"At least now your fiction will be even more intricate. Imagine how much this experience is going to improve your writing!"

When he suggested she go clean up she stood; and closed the space in-between them. She rested her head on his chest and looked up at him with a deviant smile.

"But we slept together isn't it customary for the one that slept over to do the walk of shame?"

She fluttered her eyelashes before giggling as she separated herself from him to begin her trip to the bathroom. Before leaving the kitchen she stopped by the doorway and looked back at him all joking aside.

"Thank you"

She left and went upstairs to take a quick shower.

Killian nods slightly about his writing as some masterminds had written out there stratagies like books half the time. On several outcomes or the right path to take for a victory. "Yeah....although if we do the walk of shame, I would make sure I would have a wild time with you.....Although I sense that you would be in control and I would be calling you Mistress" he said throwing back a equaly pervy joke back at Valdis. As she was about to leave he heard Valdis say thank you before leaving. The red head gets up and goes to his room and goes to a high shelf in his closet and brings it down on to the bed and opens it up. Most of the things in there were some old clothes that his parents once had when they were going to come see him in japan. A laid a few things for Valdis that belonged to his mother.

He also took the time to mentaly debate if he should jump and become a dark mind and plot all of the teams moves like Valdis was doing. Or try and stay in the light and try and work with everyone and get there co-operation. But from all of the very hot headedness from several members including himself. It would be better if he did do some of the planning without them knowing. Plus he would have to get into Valdis's mind to counter her attacks if she was there enemy. For now the redhead goes down to the kitchen and gets a rather cold drink from his fridge.

"So long as you know it"

She called back in response before she left for the shower; more than amused with Kail trying to keep up with her teasing. Her shower was a quick one; although in hind sight perhaps waiting to get a new set of clothes before jumping in would have been the wise idea. While in her own home she had no qualms about streaking over to grab her cloths from her dresser...here it might be a bit awkward to go walking around with no clothes. She sighed and wrapped a towel around her form before poking her head out of the bath room door. She looked left then she looked right....She crept out and poked her head into Kails bedroom. To her relief there were clothes laid out on the bed.

The cloths were dated, and female which she was surprised to see. She just assumed he was going to give her some of his clothes to wear like he did the first time she slept over. She shrugged and slipped on her original undergarments...there was no avoiding that. Then slipped on the simple white collared shirt that went under a long sleeved grey sweater dress. She pulled on the black stockings that went with it. It was comfy and it fit her form well. She slung her long wet hair over her shoulder and braided it.

All dressed she walked down stairs and leaned against the door way.

"Showers all yours; thank you for the clothes there surprisingly comfy...You know if I keep sleeping over your moms going to think I moved in here.."

Kail walks by his room "Thanks, that belonged to my real mother.....After there disappearance I did not know what to do. So I held on to them for a long time now. After you told me your past it reminded me of my own. I think she would appreciate that its now being put to a good use on a good looking girl like yourself" he said and then had a small laugh about moving in. "Eh, let her blow a gasget.....she knows now. I can't seem to attract normal women these days" he said and just shrugs as it was the truth. And at this point he goes to his closet and pulls a shirt and some jeans out. Both looking super casual since he was not going to do much that day. "Anyway once I am done getting clean the food will be ready and then talk a bit more" he said and was about to head to the doorway of his room.

Val was actually surprised when he said she was wearing something of his real mothers. If she had anything left of her mother's she would be hard pressed to part with it. Her only reaction was to stand there stiff and rigid with a shocked blank expression. She blinked a couple of times; she was unsure of how to respond to this display. Yes she told him her past but...she looked down at the dress. She felt awkward accepting it. Especially since her wardrobe had been taking a large hit recently...the other Senshi transformed and their clothes were protected. Hers they got shredded, burned, blood streaked...She looked at the cloths she had carried down with her. They were full of holes, and burnt to a crisp in some areas from when Scorpio lit her aflame. When she got home she would make sure to change it to something expendable.

"I will take good care of it...Kail what was your mother like?"

Valdis chuckled when he said his mom could blow a gasket.

"You attract plenty of normal girls; I hear rumors of a fan club in the works for you. You've attracted the eyes of many young girls; imagine there horror...or delight that you've slept with someone who is still considered underage! Your good boy image would be ruined!...Wonder what would happen if I told the twit wits."

She chuckled technically she was only underage until December.

"If you don't believe me on it we can always do an experiment next time you teach a high school class. I wonder how many college girls are attracted to you that your oblivious on as well."

It was a good thing she was a dominant personality; otherwise she was sure she'd have been targeted for being as close to Kail as she had been. She nodded when he mentioned food would be ready as soon as he was out of the shower.

"I'll wait for you downstairs then"

She walked past him and descended the stairs so he could shower in peace.

"My mother, I would say she was a bit like yours but she was a amazing storyteller. She even gloated a few times that she had the blood of the great greek storytellers of ancient times. Perhaps even built some of my morals and ethics when I was just a lad. Perhaps the thing I gained from her was her great mind and love of the arts. I wish I gained half of the wisdom she had though. But she was very demanding. I am surprised that my dad and even my self could keep up with her" said Kail as he reminisced on his mother. He sighed a bit as some memories flooded him but kept it in check for a bit. Then hearing on his popularity with the women and he had to give a laugh a rather large one.

"Eh well perhaps I have been to focused in my books to pay attention. After transforming that day and our talks that night. I kinda made me realize to put that down an wake up to the world around me. Although I am still dense in that area" he said and just rubbed the back of his head. "Eh...oh those two, they would need more proof on that. There just not going to belive your lies. I'm sure you will get creative" he said and then nods his head as she left him be. Kail goes in and takes a shower and after awhile he comes down dressed in what he picked out. The man looking a lot more refreshed then what he was earlier.

As he walked in the oven went off and Kail pulled the pizza out of the oven and let it cool on top of the oven. "Man.....I'm still worn out from yesterday....and sore" the redhead went and got two advil and poped them in and finished the rest of his soda. "If your planning on getting favor with the Covenant and the higher ups. Your going to have to pull a defection and make a rather big betrail. The best way to fool the enemy is to fool your friends. We or yourself will only know of this" he said referring to a classic saying that was used by almost the beginning of time.

She chuckled; it was obvious she was slowly corrupting Kail by his response to her musings of trouble making. Now if only she could corrupt Sophia in the same way, which would truly be an accomplishment to be proud of. While downstairs she calmly waited in a chair; zoning out to her own musings. When she had enlisted Kail she did not think that he'd become a significant part of her life. She figured he'd be just a person that would provide some amusement in his own time and then be on his way. Though the events after the fight proved it to be otherwise...after thinking on it for a bit she liked how things had turned out.

Her eyes focused as he came into the room complaining of being sore. She chuckled luckily for her, her regeneration generally meant she left feeling as though she had when she entered the fight. Worse she suffered was mental. Although if he was sore....she thought back to the fight with Scorpio when she had injected him with her venom...it didn't feel like venom of sort and he seemed to lose any pain from when she bit him...he didn't even wince when she tore a chunk out of his neck.

"Kail...do you mind if I try something with you; it may help with that soreness"

If she was able to heal in the slightest the strain on Sophia wouldn't be as much during battle...and Granny had said one day she would be able to heal. When he changed the subject she paused; she had thought of that but it was a bit more complicated than a simple betrayal.

"That's to straight forward; easy to deduce. Yes a betrayal will inevitably happen but that's not how I will win favor of the covenant to begin with. The fact I am in the group; and the fact most beside for Sophia treat me with a cautious nature will already make me stand out. The covenant will likely want to get someone in much how we want to get someone in on their organization. Frankly I will look like the easiest target to tempt over to their side with power. If I am too easy to get then they will suspect something yes? Phase one of my betrayal of the Senshi's will have to be a slow process; phase two will be when it gets tricky. I will have to play the part of someone who is torn; remorseful but drunk with power. I will be convinced that the covenants way is truly the best path; I will be as confused and sure of my cause as our dear friend Scorpio. I will have to tempt the others; try to get you and Sophia to join me...I will a tale of pretty words. Eventually when that fails I'm more then sure the covenant will test me. That will be the moment when I sink or swim. Hopefully I will have gathered some useful information before that time comes. If luck is with me that time will align with the time we march on the citadel....if I can last until that point I can be the senshi's key in"

She clasped her hands together, you could see the wheels in her head were turning. Plotting each step of the way. Weighing different outcomes and situations; possible ways to move and combat each suspicion. Tracing a thousand different paths one could take...However...she was no fool. Her plans at the best ended with getting the senshi inside the citadel. She would clear a path but the rest would be up to them.

"As for who will know, you and Nazo...I doubt I could keep it from him anyways. His mind works the same way as mine does.."

Kail give Valdis a nod on that she could try something on him. "Very complicated....and a lot of steps. There is something you might want to be careful of though I don't someone to follow you into the Covenant. I know that you and Sophia are close friends. I fear that she might come after you or even follow you into the Covenant. You might need to get her a attached to someone then yourself" he said as he was pondering on what to do now. Since that could have been a problem for Sophia. He did not know how close it was though since he never talked with the two of them at the same time. And with Nazo though he would not tell anyone unless things went fubar. Either way this plan was going to be stages.

"And your going to need to do it quickly. If you don't I think she will follow you into hell. So I don't think you want that to happen" said Kail as he starts slicing up the pizza for the two of them.

"I know Sophia...I don't think she would be able to bring herself to betray everyone's cause to fallow me to the covenant. Honestly I think she would do everything in her power to stop me from switching sides. Either that or she will figure out my plan...she has a smart head on her...if anything she'll be the one convincing people not to kill me....No I don't think Sophia will be a problem. If anything I trust her to believe the very best in me even when no one else can see it."

She had grown to appreciate that side of Sophia; who knew she became attached to the little mouse so quickly. She imagined this was like how an older sister felt about a younger sibling. Sophia was both annoying and aggravating but she was her annoying an aggravating friend. But when she did start to switch sides the girl would be troubled.

"If you're worried about her....you can always make yourself a significant part of her life....Plus she'll need someone to support her. I won't be able to be the person who tells her she's not insane for seeing the positive in everything....and anything...She has valid points just no one takes the time to analyze enough to see she's as right as anybody else. If you're going to be my partner in this then take this as a request from me; please take the time to try to see things from her point of view....that and if things to take a turn for the worse, if I die, to anyone who doubted and hated me...rub it in their face that I've been helping them this whole time"

She chuckled; that last part was a bit mean but hey, one last slap from her from the grave. But that matter aside Kail had given her the go ahead to try whatever she was going to try.

"Stay still"

Val stood, the energy around her grew; it was shocking she was already partially refilled from yesterdays fight. A soft purple glow surrounded her as it had when she first had given Sophia her energy to heal Keitha. Fangs grew in, she could tell because it was an achy odd sliding sensation like when you were little and you yanked out a tooth. She walked behind Kail, sliding the collar of his shirt to the side. She leaned down and sunk her fangs into the nape of his neck. It would hurt for only a second before a warm sensation would tingle threw his limbs. The ach would eb away leaving him refreshed and almost giddy. She only stayed like that for a moment before releasing him; to her relief the two pricks from where she bit steamed up and healed leaving new skin.

"Well would you look at that....so I can heal...how do you feel?"

Kail thought over Valdis's thoughts on Sophia and was silent about it again. Although some people did crazy things in the name of love. But it did sound like that Sophia did have a good head on her shoulders. "I think overall I can try to help with Sophia. But overall I feel I am out of place with most of them. I don't know if its me being older then them or my mindset.....and I will do my best on your request. Although I will make sure that you don't die and still make it that you rub it in there faces that you were not back stabbing them" he said as oddly the saying was a perfect meaning between himself and Sophia. Men are from Mars and women are from Venus. His thinking and Sophia's were quite different on some out looks on a battle or on someone.

When Valdis said to stay still he was not sure until he was bitten in the neck. Then a pleasant feeling went through his body. It was quite nice and he kind of sighed in pleasure and then Valdis stopped and looked at her. "......N...never...do that again ok" he stuttered out looking quite embareist by the healing treatment. But then felt himself a bit and there was no soreness at all "Y..yeah I'm good as new" he said and then gets a few plates and serves up the pizza on the table and two glasses of water. After the meal he needed a stiff drink to forget what just happened.

"I don't exactly fit in myself, but its most likely your mind set...or theirs...most likely there's, I don't find your personality off putting. Bit boring at times, but not off putting. But you have to remember they're teenagers. Course there mostly around my age but let's face it we all know I'm more mentally developed then normal kids my age. If you want to fit in you'll have to make an effort it won't just happen"

She smiled when he said he'd do his best to make sure she'd get to rub it in their face as well.

"There may be a time and place where you can't protect me Kail; if it happens rest easy in me knowing the fact you would have done anything to prevent it."

She felt better moving forward to at least trust someone with her last requests. The unexpected happened, and they were playing with a loaded gun. She trusted Kail enough to know that his honor would have her requests carried out as well.

When she had bit him she was intrigued to see he was enjoying it. An amused look crossed her features as he looked up at her and stuttered. As the purple glow faded away a sly smile slid onto her face. He looked embarrassed, exactly what was that venom. She slid back into her chair and thanked him for the pizza with a nod. She ran her tongue over a fang as it receded back to its normal length. Scrunching her nose when she realized she had the lingering taste of soap...most likely do to biting Kail after he had taken a shower.

"You're stuttering Kail; I wasn't expecting you to enjoy it. Can you tell me exactly what you felt? I'm curious to the fact Scorpio didn't even flinch when I did it to him"

Kail currently was her test subject....she wasn't exactly sure how this fang thing worked she was going on gut instinct at the moment.

"Also can't promise not to do it again; frankly I didn't feel a pull on my energy at all. If this is an efficient way of healing someone I may be able to free some of the weight bared on Sophia. But problem is I have never heard of anyone healing that way...nor do I know the long term effects."

She smiled wickedly at him.

"Plus if you get injured or are too sore to perform at your best this is a quick fix yes?"
