Peter had been here, soaking in the sea air, feeling kinship to sea as well as moon. The Inquisitor had allowed this battle to rage near him without intervening, wanting to enjoy the sea air a bit more. His augmented physiology made the drain negligible until he sensed that miserable man. The traitor. His hands shook. He felt the Malachite lightning course through him as the Auracite resonated with his rage. "You, whom she loved, when she turned her eye from I! You, who refused her! I will end your miserable life!"

Peter's robed form, still human, but wearing armoured clothing, and carrying a steel staff, black as the gaps between the stars, walked towards Kousuke. "You dare invoke Odins Lance!" He snarled, still feet from Kousuke. "You stupid, ignorant human prat! You inherited her love, her favour, and threw my carefully crafted timeline into Chaos and Disarray! You will pay!"

His stance widened, as he planted the staff in the ground, and Malachite lightning engulfed him, six damned souls flowing into him, before seven escaped his flesh. The Inquisitor stood there. "You have broken the ancient traditions again Endymion! Still you cling to that frail whelp! And now I have been awoke to redress this imbalance! Had you but loved her, I would be free to die as I should have! This is all your fault, Earth Knight! Prepare yourself for the kiss of Lunar Steel! Glory to Virgo!" He exploded towards Kousuke, shield up, intending to ram him, and pin him into the ground. The Inquisitors charge took him up the side of a building, and across the roof, Superhuman Speed and Agility coming to bare.

Abruptly, a presence instantaneously manifests behind the man. Cold steel empowered by the essence of death comes from above to a downward angle intending to cut the figure in half! When eyes turn, the Knight of Pluto is evident in full battle armor and mask. Terror radiates from the entity and he is already in a second swing or in pursuit of the man depending on what happens after the initial attack.

Kousuke would note that his posture and hostility had a full intent to kill, which may alert him that this is a significant target for some reason.

Kou flinches at the attack that seemed to borrow into his mind. He continues to use his emotion control to buffer the attack, but as he sees the second senshi transform and begins hearing the crazy moon knight shout at him it becomes blatantly obvious that he was alone and way out numbered so before the speeches or transformations finish he plummets into the sky, a stone ball forming around him. Once he's about 150 feet up the ball starts falling towards the horizon over the city.

Inari’s father raises an eyebrow at the redhaired newcomer. What a stranger gentleman. He seemed faithful to Virgo, but was not one of his men. He knew all of his men. “Why I thank you for your assistance! Please see that my daughter comes to no harm!” he shouts to the redhaired man. However, the young Earth knight floats off. “Well, isn’t that the strangest thing?”

He sighs as he feels a presence behind him. There was always more. The world distorts uncomfortably, and Nazo slows as if he is moving from water, or worse molasses. From there, Inari’s father simply moves out of the way. “There are too many people dreaming here that I am not so defenseless…” he says, waving a hand at those asleep. “It is a shame reapers don’t sleep.” He is now focused on the reaper entirely. He burrows into Nazo’s mind, pulling on his perceptions and warping them and inducing both auditory and visual hallucinations.

Fia, the redhaired woman, releases her shield of moss. She starts to push the zombie-like civilians aside, carrying human energy in her right hand. She calls to the two people on the roof, “Come with me.”

"SsssssSON OF A PROTESTANT WHORE!" Peter snarled once the man was out of reach. Peter's hands shook, and he roared, the sound of a Dragon's roar echoing through out blocks surrounding Peter. He was breathing hard, falling to his knees, and panting. And then he felt a prick. "Amarissa, you die after I deal with this one."

He turned, staring at the red haired woman. There was a tugging at his heart strings. "Celeste...? But... No." He shook his head, pangs of Despair, memories of a world he could never return to. "Maiden Guard once again. How like my lot." He shrugged, leaping off the roof to land next to the crimson haired woman. "Inquisitor, Knight of the Eclipsing Moon, at your service. Excuse me." He offered a bow, his tone filled with the air of a true Knight. It moved into a punch into the ground, shattering the concrete below him before he took a handful, and pitched it at Nazo in a 180 MPH baseball pitch.

Inari stood back near her father, Aiming blast after blast of her Tidal waves towards Kou. "Seems like everyone hates that one." She said, chuckling. "What should we do father? Stay, or leave?" She asked him, watching the others.

As Pisces attempts to work his magic against Nazo, his form seemingly disperses into spiritual particles as he reappears in the air, evading the super speed rock projectile, landing on a nearby building. A massive gate of black metal manifests behind him, as the skull adorned gate surrounded in many chains manifests. The heavy metal door buckle against the weight of the chains.

The level of threat the man would feel could not be put into words: the gate would emit vast energy, the energy of ten thousand angry souls that had been slain due to the dreams of scheme and deceit. Without witty word or other ceremony, he slams his weapon against the chains, causing the gates to erupt wide open.

The souls would be immune to any and all outside influence, and they charge for the combatants at hand. The majority would dive for the man. Others would lash out at Peter or the woman, and others yet grasp at Inari and begin to drag her towards the gate. The man would feel a pressing need to preserve himself, otherwise he could very well be destroyed here and now by the enraged souls.

Fia whistles as Peter tears out a chunk of cement and throws it. “Wish I could do that…” However, she tilts her head as Nazo disappears. “Huh?”

Inari’s father stares at Nazo on the roof. His heart quickens as the gate opens up. If only he was in his own domain. He starts moving backward toward the water as the doors begin to buckle. “Inari, follow Fia.” Fia reaches makes a gesture to come with her.

As the souls are released, Inari’s father and Fia make a dash toward the pier and into the water. Being the closest to the water, Fia jumps in and appears to dissolve into a blood red liquid the same shade as her hair. Inari’s father is slowed down by the spirits as they attempt to overwhelm him. In a last ditch effort, he pulls on the minds of all those sleeping around him, squeezing out every bit of consciousness. Large black shadows stand to defend the man before rushing to his aid. They appear to literally try to eat the spirits, attempting to stuff them into oversized mouths. After eating a few, the shadows would pop and both spirit and shade would disappear from existence entirely. With that, the man makes it to the pier. Inari’s father jumps into the water and dissolves into seafoam.

Inari nodded, looking at Nazo's gate with fear. It was clear Inari didn't want to leave her father, but seeing as he was alright, she dove into the water with Fia, glad her father soon dove down with her.

Peter frowned at the spirits, seeing they were immune to Clarent's bite. "This is ridiculous. What manner of a creature is this. The Void Dragon never could do that." He was blurring as he back peddled away from each of the spirits. "Damned souls it seems... Hehe... How many of you know me personally I wonder." He leapt into a backflips, giving himself some breathing room. "Well, it is nice to see there is no God. No loving God would allow this to exist." He jumped back a few paces, before seeing the others had fled. "Alright Nazo, it is just me and you. Call back your dogs, and let us settle this as Knights, neh? You know what hold Beryl has over me."

Peter drew his shield over his shoulders, reattaching it. The mass would do nothing against the dead. "And that means I can not quit this field."

As the man, youma, and senshi attempt to escape into the water, Nazo howls, clenching his clawed hand as the souls surge forth with another wave of strength, combining into a very large, powerful stream that converges entirely on the portal and run away point. Inari, being slower than the youma ends up getting ensnared completely by the souls as they begin to drag her back to the gate, rapidly flinging her through the air and into the direction of the gate.

More souls would charge forth at the man: he could attempt to clear his daughter from his grasp, but he would surely be destroyed by the powerful, wrathful spirits. Even if their numbers were diminished slightly by Pisces' efforts, for him to linger much longer would destroy him surely.

As Nazo confronts Peter, he turns into his direction just slightly, but speaks in a tone much more intense and hostile than anyone else has ever heard from him before.

"Sojourner...an interesting circumstance you have placed yourself in. You betray your allies, and those who you would seek a courtship in politics with would never accept you." he says, with a muffled, dark chuckle.

"But a battle between us would hardly be fruitful, would result in you being wounded, and while if luck is on your side you would inflict some damage to me, I don't think the economy would favor that course of action. We still have to have that discussion over your original timeline sometime with a good bottle of Sake or something! Hard to do if we beat each other up, yes?"

"Most impossible if we have killed one another." He smirked at that. "Your friends will purify me, Replacement, and we will have our discussion then. If you would be so kind as to release the girl, we can reconvene then. Her soul is innocent, and they may yet free her." He had his sword ready to strike. "She just needs to be nudged back towards your friends. Her presence on our side would be little more than a distraction." Our meaning Beryl... "Just as my presence on yours while I carry the taint is one to them. We must all find our proper places, and move through the proper steps. I am sure you know of my intrigues~" He was wearing a warm enough smile for Nazo. One guardian of Souls to another.

"Free her, and quit the field. I can not until you leave first Nazo. You know that this Dragon does not surrender. More to the point, I am not on the side of the Senshi, because I will not serve any who would cast Brittania back into the dark. Beryl cares not for my forefather's kingdom. It will live in her shadow. But the Senshi? They will rebuild Crystal Tokyo. My people shall be banished. The Black Moon will be reborn."

Peter paused a moment, staring. "I claim dominion over her, as Serpentarius, and as the Moon. The Sea must Obey. You may take her if she is brought back to me unharmed. I shall take responsibility for her from there." He looked at her with empty eyes. "Pisces has abandoned responsibility for her, and I am the only one who will vouch for her at this juncture. The girl is mine, Reaper."

Inari’s father and Fia disappear from view as soon as they hit the water. It would take a few moments for Inari from when she jumped in the water for anything to happen. However, slowly, she will feel herself getting pulled from the world around her. Her mind would be half in this world and half in a dreamlike state. Her body would slowly begin to phase out of reality, starting with her toes and working upward. Corruption when spread through her soul but at at an equally sluggish rate. Like syrup and just as sweet.

However, just as she begins to full dematerialize, the souls of the dead hoist Inari from the water and out of the strong grip of a dreamlike world. Her mind would be jolted back to the world and circumstances around her. The corruption would recede back to a dark corner of her soul. And her father would be in a place very far away.

Inari thought she would be with her father, everything would be right again. Yet as her conciousness began to swirl and dim, she felt herself yanked back. "ahh! Father!" She cried out for her father, struggling to free herself of the souls that held her and dragged her towards the gate. "Let go of me!"

"Replacement? I was created specifically for this purpose, and in terms of time, I came first. If anything, you were the replacement." Nazo says with an amused, chuckle. When Peter mentions the rebuilding of Crystal Tokyo, he shrugs.

"Virgo would cause reality to collapse and existence to end. My mission is simply to prevent that by working against the Covenant. I have seen this 'Crystal Tokyo' that you speak of, and I question whether they will repeat that: the current Moon is not the Moon of your time. Circumstances are different, and you can use your knowledge of the future to prevent such a thing from happening, yes? Besides, I don't think the current group really has such aspirations as that of your timeline did." Nazo says with an apathetic shrug.

As Inari is reeled in behind him by the souls retreating for the gate, and Peter demands her release, Nazo shakes his head and looks at Peter with weapon in hand.

"Her? Oh yes..her. I will have her only detour the underworld for a time, after which point she shall be released back to this world. I give you my word that no harm would come to her while under my domain. After which, she will be left to the consequences of her own decisions." he says as he waves once with his weaponless hand. At this point the souls respond by reeling in Inari more quickly, as if it were a fish being brought into a boat.

Once she and the remainder of the dead are within, the gate slams shut and disappears into the mists, as does Nazo himself...
