Taurus never quite thought she would be playing courier, particularly between a deranged knight and a dark queen. She walks through the immense castle that Beryl constructed for herself. She never much liked going to this place and avoided talking to Virgo unless she had something to show her. She enters the throne room and kneels. It’s a gesture she does because Virgo demands it. She produces the letter written on vellum. “The current knight of the Moon is quite taken with you. He is interested in joining your army and fighting for you. I believe he is sincere. He asked me to deliver this letter written in his own blood.” The letter reads as followed in the old language of the Earth: Tag: Fate

The dark queen sat upon her throne staring as Taurus entered. For her to intrude upon her domain out of the blue meant something was afoot. The area around was abuzz with dark energy, as Virgo's throne room connected directly to where the undercurrent of energy harvested over the years. The room was aglow red in the lines and conduits that went in every direction to a large, red gem at the ceiling. Taurus would know that outside the massive Citadel, there was a towering gem, larger than an Obelisk that would reach to the barrier of reality.
It was this that would overload the Obelisks with chaos energy and shatter the barrier between the two realms once and for all.
At the bow, Virgo nodded and allowed her to continue. Taurus was generally efficient and on the less annoying side of her minions. She would never say as much, but she even liked her to a small degree.
Her clawed hand reaches out and accepts the letter. She opens it, glowing eyes reading the document with a neutral expression upon her face. Her lips turn slightly crestfallen as she looks up to Taurus.
"This mortal seems disturbed. Do you really think him to be worth the time? I have encountered millions of Lunarian blood whom would profess devotion, obsession, and the ramblings of a mad man. This 'knight' power aside, which I don't have any significant interest in, I don't see how he is any more special than the others."

Standing up, Taurus watches Virgo reaction as she reads the letter. “He is touched in the head,” Taurus agrees about Peter’s mental state. “However, he has already given the names of two of the senshi, Moon and Venus. He has no love for the Moon senshi despite the planetary affiliation between two. He told me to make it painful. The senshi and knights are becoming more powerful. At the beginning of the month, they could hardly take on a youma. Now, Scorpio is dead. He is knowledgeable about the senshi and knights and useful in combat. It will certainly be easier to have him on our side than killing him or any of their ilk. And he will never betray you,” she adds.
Honestly, it didn’t matter whether Virgo wanted to talk to him or not for her. She fulfilled her end of the bargain, and got the names of two senshi. “Whether you wish to deal with him or not, it does not matter to me. He has already been a valuable source of information. We can probably monitor those two senshi to discover the identities of the rest or get him to give other names freely if you wish to continue correspondence with him.”

"Scorpio was foolish...he overestimated his own prowess when he was for too long out of a combat role. A successor shall be chosen whom is more capable." Virgo states as she holds her hand up and visions of the senshi appear.
"They may have been able to become a threat, but it takes a group of them to defeat one of my minions, when there are tens of millions at my command. They have only engaged harvesters, not any true combatants." she says calmly. "When the barrier shatters, any chance they had of changing the outcome will be long lost."
At this, she waves her hand off at Taurus.
"But I will at least indulge the fool and grant him an audience. Stay or leave, I can tell well enough you would rather be working on other things." she says as she taps the ground with her staff. A mark of Virgo appears on the ground at the bottom of the stairwell, before a blood red portal manifests.
In Peter's presence, the gateway would manifest but fade within a short period of time if ignored.

Serpentbearer before the VirginWhen the gateway opened, Peter transformed without hesitation, despite being fully dressed, and grabbed a folder off a table. He loved her. He was not stupid enough to trust her. He crossed through the barrier as the Knight of the Eclipsing Moon, his expression empty, soulless even. His eyes cast dim green light. Scanning the area, he maintained this empty expression. There is the noticeable smell of Sake, but he did not SEEM incapacitated in the slightest. A folder under one arm, seemingly filled with documentation, and the Knight of the Moon scanned the area. He was quick to assess any and all threats, before shifting, placing the folder on the ground, and moving in a deep, formal bow. His mask was affixed to his face, joined to the helm at the moment. He showed a level of dexterity almost physically impossible, assuming a kneeling position, and keeping his forehead nearly an inch off the ground, holding like such for a few moments, the show of respect one would give an Empress. Or a Goddess. Peter soon straightened, taking the folder in a clawed gauntlet again. He had pointedly not looked at her since catching a first glance at her, knowing that if he looked at her, his blood would betray him. His inhaled quietly, before addressing her in the tongue of the Earth Kingdom. His tone of speaking was soft, but carried, his words enunciated, and his almost entire demeanor showed respect, as did his use of any honourifics. Despite being soft, his voice was deep, and had a rich quality to it. This was NOT the voice of the man who Taurus had spoken with. It was simply... Almost a different person entirely. I have not been this man, for over twenty years, not to this extent.“I am honoured to receive a reply with such celerity. It warms my soul to know I warrant your attention, Beloved Queen.” He kept his eyes closed, though the mask would hide this, and his face was pointed to where she would be. He listened for any sign of movement, to adjust accordingly. Whatever enchantments she might have, his eyes would be unaffected.

"I still believe you to be little different than the countless weak-minded men whom would pledge their souls to me if it at all seemed I would give them the attention they so desired. However Taurus insists that you would be useful to me." Virgo states, her crimson gaze falling upon the kneeling knight. The staff in her hand hums with energy, as the room entirely seemed aglow.
"I will allow you to present your case, perhaps you can persuade me otherwise." she says as she keeps her eyes intent. She studied the man, felt out his mind and his energy as he would likely feel the foreign energy probing him occasionally. It should certainly come as no surprise to Peter that Virgo would not trust him immediately.

“If you believe that of me, then you are doomed from the start, Beryl.” His face kept an empty mask, but there was a hint of joviality to it. He was happy to be here. “Probing my mind will tell you little. I have yottabytes of memory to sift through. Asking me would be faster.” His eyes remained closed, but he kept them trained on hers, relying on the mask, and his sense of hearing, as well as spatial reasoning, both of which were Superhuman...
“I have in my hands a write up on the Senshi and Knights I witnessed during a meeting with them. Prospective identities, as they were foolish enough to show me civilian guises, even if they did not use names, psychological weaknesses, which ones despise the others greatly.” He had a ghost of a smirk at that. “I hacked into school records. It was a gamble, but I also found something else... But, that, I feel is not as useful to you, but more a show that I am an Inquisitor beyond par. Mamoru Chiba had a daughter. He was Endymion's reincarnation.”
Peter's face returned to the empty mask. “Congratulations. And I am happy for you. It also means that I am not able to ever have you. My goal becomes leaving this reality, and finding my way into another. Another where there is a Beryl who has not found her Endymion.” The Eclipsing Moon shrugged at that. “Beyond this, I am more intelligent than your man... Libra, and less likely to betray you. I am gifted with Supernatural powers without being a strain on your resources... And I think you can sense the most important thing. I was tainted by Chaos herself. I met her, nearly embraced her as family, had that vile clown not gotten in the way. I offer my friendship to you not only as myself, but as someone who wishes to make sure that Metallia never moves to harm you. Someone who serves the Mistress Chaos.”
He let that hang in the air. “And killing me nets you nothing, while keeping me nets you much. I have made contingencies in the case of my death. My methods, my work? It will go to others, not to you. While I live, I serve you with the love one owes a sovereign, not the Boskonian chains of self interest, or the bindings of your magic. How many people can you say truly love you in that way, Beryl? I know one of them died.” He did not even need to name who. “I shattered the Silver Imperium Crystal once. I am sure I can do it again if need be.” He chuckled at that. “And I did it before I found out I was Pluto Knight.”
Every word he spoke, he believed was true. There was a taste to his mind, deep melancholy. Happiness for her, but sorrow that it was in the end, Endymion, and not he, who was by her side. But nothing in his mind indicated it would effect his work. His energy coursed with not only the Moon, and Chaos, but his own manic personal energy. It had a flavour that could not be described. “Chaos wishes to be part of all things, and touching all things... The sad part is... She already is. If only she could see beyond her shadow.” He gave a fatalistic, bitter laugh. “After all... Are not my beloved Void, and Chaos, two sides of the same coin?”
