Many hundreds of years ago, humans and shifters lived right along side of one another. There was peace, understanding, and friendship between the races. It was a peace that would last until the very end of the human's days. The humans turned the world black and legend tells us that even the tears of the sky became dark and poisonous. But despite all that happened around us, the humans would not accept our help. And so, as they died in the world they had destroyed, we lived on, immune to the sickness they had spread across the land. It hurt our hearts to see our friends perish, but there was nothing we could do.
Time moved on, as time always will, and soon the world righted itself, but not before we had to adapt. We had long ago forsaken the machines that had cause the harm to our natural world. We learned from the past of the humans, and our own past, weapons and ways of living that came from the earth. Horses once again because more than just pets, as did dogs and cats. Swords and bows replaced guns and magics in our hands. Our homes grew simple and our nations formed once more.
Our world is healthy again, and birds sing in the trees...but we are alone. Aside from the beasts that live among us, the humans are never to return. They cast their stones to their future and reaped what they sowed. But that is not our worry now and it has not been for many hundreds, if not thousands of years.See the Timeline------------------------------------ [Home] - [Rules] - [Species]
