Peter paused, pulling into a parking lot. He had the answer. So simple, and so perfectly... Correct. It involved breaking into a shrine, but Peter was an old hand at that. It involved disturbing the dead, possibly, but the spirits of the dead were kin to him. After all, he had passed through the veil when the black gem entered his flesh, and had become a demon.
He pulled away, before heading for his destination. This particular shrine had security he could easily bypass. And honestly, they could not really stop him. Chinreisha. Peter had more blood on his hands than many youma, and he ventured he might give the zodiac a run for their money. “watashi ha chigai masu korera no kanjixyou ni tekishi te i masu watashi no mokuteki imi wo motte garasu no kabe ha jixyoushou suru hitsuyou ga ari masu...” So quickly he fell back into old habits. It was easy, to think in that language again.
It did not take long for him to arrive, clear the fence, and stalk towards the small wooden shrine. He had incense, one of those things he carried in his car, a useful diversionary tactic, to say you are headed to pray at a shrine...
He set the sticks in a square around himself. He purposely muttered 'Shi', invoking the dead, to aggravate them. This was an invocation of a curse, but one he desired once more. “You lose Kasumi.” And so does the world.
“Kage shisha no tamashii ushinawa re ta tamashii no rei watashi ha nani wo watashi wo shitte i masu watashi ha anata ni kore wo atae masu kibou suru watashi no kokoro hensai de jibun jishin wo saigo ni soushin anata no sorera no tame no shouhi wo shippitsu damashii no tame no watashi no kokoro wo kibou suru baai ima jiyuu ni atae rareru sore wo toru niku no yorokobi iki no yorokobi to kokoro no yorokobi ha watashi kara toru koto ga dekiru you ni watashi ha anata kono gisei wo teikixyou shi masu sou suru koto de watashi no futan suru watashi ha kono sekai ni watatta hi kara no jiyuu wo atae masu.”
It was a subtle thing, as he raised his hand up to his mouth, curled his lip to reveal his right canine, and sliced his thumb gently open, before extinguishing the four sticks of incense in blood. After he had done that he gathered any evidence of his presence, and licked the wound gently. The taste of iron... He inhaled. And then released a purifying breath. The chill was slow, just like last time.
This felt much better, and it was just the seeds... He took a moment, looking at the night sky. And the Moon. He wondered... Could he blot it out with his will alone?
