Ashley was sitting at his desk in what some people called the gendo postion as his mind was deep in thought. As he was staring at the crystal. He made a material request for some artificial diamond's that he was going to experiment on a coating to his combat blades. Aside from that he was also trying to figure out how to get a large piece of the crystal to test. He wanted to find out if it was made up of materials that were made from a organic being or something inorganic. But his main issue was dealing with the director if he saw a crystal piece this large. Ashley could only do oh so much at his home, he had money yes. It was not enough for him to have a massive amount of resources. The male needed a plan to get all of the lab on his side to boot the director out. Or at least a massive distrust to make everyone doubt his competence to do his job.
The man gets up from his chair and puts the crystal into a case that he brought in with him. He then puts it into his own safe and locks it up. Aside from Tanaka and Taika, Ashley needed more people on his side in a sense in the lab. He had no problems with charming and using people, since he had a job to do. It was more like a mission for him to get his objectives done. He leaves his work area/office and goes to get a strong cup of coffee. While keeping his eyes and ears open for something that could be used for his advantage. He did not use Kurio, Taika, or Tanaka as they had earned his friendship in a sense. Ashley goes to the lounge area to get the liquid brown gold.
