As Cory's character rushed in for the final blow, Kail had timed his counter attack to land before Xiaoyu could throw out a punch. King kicks Xiaoyu in the gut and then follows up with a spinning power bomb throw. He had hoped that the move would go through before the timer went out. If this did go through it would close the gap for a draw or a win. As the redhead did not check how much his opponent had left on his lifebar. "Perhaps, but some people tend to make there own stratagies, and sometimes they follow a pattern if they are fighting against a CPU or people that are not on the same skill level. I still need to determen your skill level Cory. But other then that, what made you come here" said Kail as he was now trying to make some small talk.


Asuka grins and walks by Rin "Please come with me to my office" she said leading the blond to the main counter and ushering her through the back to the office. She opens the door and it was an elaborate one all of it very new and expensive. Asuka then sits in her comfy chair that was behind her desk. "Close the door little bird and lock it. Now my first question to you is this, why are you so infatuated with Kail-kun" she said and looks at the younger girl trying to gauge her.

Just as Kail hopes, the move goes in before the timer is up, making him the winner. Cory doesn’t seem too bothered by this development though. In fact, he’s still sincerely smiling, which is odd for someone who just got defeated.

Extending a hand, he says, “Good game. I’m here because I was closer to this arcade than the one in Juuban Commercial District at the time. But Crown is my normal haunt so to speak. This place is pretty cool, but my loyalty is there and it’s a bit closer to school, I’m afraid. It was kind of hard to find this place actually even though someone gave me directions. Also, I have to say I wasn't exactly sure this was arcade even though people kept telling me it was. How about you? Or do you go around testing whether every newcomer is worth anything?”

Rin walks silently behind Asuka, head hung low in defeat and some anger. She closes the door behind her, and watches as the other woman sits down. She is left standing as the object of her hatred is in control of the situation behind a desk. “Don’t I at least get a chair too?” she asks almost too quietly to hear.

She shakes her head as Asuka asks her the first question. “I don’t see how that’s relevant to the situation at all. And I’m not.” It wasn’t infatuation, it was love. The kind that was described by poets. The kind in those sappy romantic movies. The other party just had yet to realize it…

"Eh, I haven't been around for a few weeks so I can't comment on the fact I challenge every new person that comes here. Crown you say? I might have to go by one day. I don't know fighters that much I tend to go for some of the TCG's that they have in another section. I prefer it a bit more, all though a wee brawl from time to time is good. It gets my blood singing and that edge where you win or lose can be a blast" said Kail and then brought out his hand and shook it with a firm grip. A manly handshake if you will since Cory got Kail's respect. He then went to the thought of Nirvana as well on his opinion on the place.

"Well I heard about this place from an add at a hobby store and figured to come by one day. After I got friendly with the owner and asked for sudjestions on how to improve the place or just add to it. Plus I hate to admit it but she is easy on the eyes no" said Kail with a laugh since he hadn't made a friend in awhile. Most of the other guys did not mesh well with him.


"There is a chair in front of you....." Asuka said in a depan voice as there were two chairs in front of the desk on either side. She then hears Rin's explanation and just sighed a bit "The guy is a bit dense sometimes even though he is a smart guy. His mind is sometimes in his own world. And trust me I know from personal experience. My other question does our redhead have a following or is it just you" she said as she was just getting a bit more info from Rin. The older blond was sizing up the girl in front of her.

Kail definitely was a bit tougher than he looked if his victory and handshake were anything to go off of. Laughing a little about Kail’s mention of now challenging people the past few weeks, he says, “Well, I’ll consider myself lucky to have had my chops tested by the master of this game then.”

He leans back against the machine, making himself comfortable a little. “I don’t want to really take business from Asuka. She is really cute, and is a pretty good reason to keep coming back. However, Crown has more high school girls, since it’s so close, and I actually have a chance with them. Maybe a small one, but not non-existent. As for trading card games, this place still has the monopoly on them though. I don’t really know too much about them. I come to arcades to get my urge to play brawlers and shooters out of the way, so it suits my needs just fine. It’s mostly just to do something different. Otherwise, I usually end up playing platformers and rpgs.”

Rin sits down, and looks over the office. While examining whatever Asuka had chosen to hang on her wall, she looks relatively calm until Asuka says knowing from personal experience. At that point, Rin looks a little upset. Did they used to date or something? That would be terrible. She had to report this to the other KLF members immediately.

However, she wasn’t about to rat out her friends to this woman. She shakes her head, “I’m the only one here. If you’re seeing double, I recommend you see a doctor. What did you want me to do so I can leave? We are both too busy for me to sit in your office and answer questions on my personal life.”
