Sophia opens up the internet browser on her computer. Part of her thinks that it would be incredibly silly if this actually turned up anything. However, she feels the need to at least try Kenji’s suggestion. Kenji… he held her hand… he called her lovely. Was he just being nice?

“Gaaaahhhh,” she lays her head on the keyboard, putting in a random stream of letters. She’d sort these complex emotions out later… at some point… She straightens up and hits the backspace on the random string of letters. The words “Silver Princess Moon Kingdom” go in, and she awaits whatever returns. However, really she just wants to spend the next few hours on some girly website in some attempt to figure out if a boy likes you.

A large array of images would appear under the recommended image of random fan works inspired by young women and men around the world uploading it to various community sites and the like. Among the links to other websites, there would be a number of options on the first page

As the search results come up, Sophia sighs at her computer screen. None of these looked like anything relevant. But maybe she should check them out anyway? Which ones though…

Result #1: A fan fiction based on another time. Was the writer being cryptic? Did this refer to ancient times? Or maybe the author just thought it sounded clever and was based on some show, movie, book, or whatever.
Result #2: While plays were fun and all, this didn’t seem important.
Result #3: She kind of wants to see this dress with the dance coming up, but decides she should stay focused.
Result #4: There were anime that referenced the Moon Kingdom? And that was an interesting question for someone to ask. Maybe, if there was an answer, it could lead to someplace interesting.
Result #5: No… just no.
Result #6: That was a sea princess, not a Moon Princess. Get it right, internet!
Result #7: While, she kind of is interested in what Guysmag has to say as insight into the male mind, that article doesn’t hold anything for her.
Result #8: That’s a really lame title for an anime. She didn’t feel like watching anything either.
Result #9: She didn’t know what that was about, but it didn’t seem like what she was looking for.
Result #10: Luna’s requiem… a song from the heart of the moon… That also sounded cryptic, but interesting. Luna was the black mau cat after all.

She decides to go with lucky number 3 first. Maybe someone responded to that question.

The result would show a multitude of images and angles on a silver and white gown, the lower half with ruffles and a little poof while the waist had a subtle belt of silver moon links around it for accent. The center of the bosom of the dress had a small white gem of some sort sewn into it while the strapless gown would hang elegantly off the mannequin. It was quite a beautiful work and the creator would type out detailed instructions n how they got the concept and the materials of silk and other things were used. While Sophia if she were fashion and sewing inclined could at least make an imitation of this, the pricetag for the original materials ended up being something to the effect of three thousand US dollars.

Sophia sighs. This was way beyond her means for a dress whether she could sew or not. It was a little too much for the school dance anyways. However, she finds herself wishing that maybe she could wear something so extravagant someday.

Then she realizes that she has already become terribly distracted here. Alright to #4! If that yielded nothing, then to number 10. And if those two failed her, she would look at #1.

After that, she would probably just give up on this endeavor.

Sophia would find her hand twitch when Artemis runs around the room erratically as cats or cat-like beings are known to do and she gets dangerously close to inadvertently clicking on number five possibly resulting in a mild scare.

When Sophia clicks on the link about the Moon Kingdom anime, she finds that the series has some uncanny similarities to those in the Sailor Senshi troupe. While the costumes and appearances are different, along with the absence of male counterparts, there are numerous similarities to the sailor senshi. One of them even vaguely resembled Priestess Hino and another Dr. Mizuno.

When an image of the villains appears, there is an uncanny resemblance to the human form of Scorpio among a group of four males, along with a red haired, nearly demonic looking woman.

“Gahh… No. No. No,” Sophia says as she gets knocked over and almost clicks number 5. Relieved that she didn’t, she stops to look down at Artemis. “I know you’re kind of bored, but be careful. Do you want me to get something for you to do while you’re around here? I didn’t get you any cat toys because I felt like it would kind of be insulting to your intelligence, but I don’t really know what else would be fun for you to do…”

However, she stops talking when she looks through the link. This was a little of creepy. She knew the real life version of these people. She wore one of those outfits. “Hey, Artemis… this is kind of weird. How many other people know about us? About Scorpio? Because those two… I’ve met two people who look that in real life. And that looks like Scorpio… Ummm… do you want to watch this show with me?”

Artemis was scrambling about with little other reaction to Sophia's scolding. Sophia's mother had gotten a catnip ball, which while normally the cat wouldn't indulge in such things, he had inadvertently stumbled across it and literally crashed into it while otherwise roaming about. The encounter was brief, but left the white mau with more than enough 'juice' to be crazy hyper.

It isn't until Sophia's more serious question, the white mau jumped up and looks at the screen, his tail swishing quickly and rapidly as he analyzed with his senshi compatriot.

"Only the senshi and knights know of each other, along with whoever you may have told...but this is a little similar to what you guys do isn't it...it could be just a coincidence, I'm sure magical girls with elemental powers isn't the most uncommon thing in fiction...but then again.." he says, looking at Scorpio's doppleganger.

"That is an uncanny resemblance indeed...I Suppose there wouldn't be harm in at least observing this to see if there is anything relevant."

She shakes her head a little at Artemis’ skepticism, “Come on, our outfits look exactly like that. This show describes more or less my life right now. And those are real people! Nazo mentioned that the people originally supposed to be the senshi were running around living normal lives. Maybe… I don’t know… what if the show’s writer comes from a parallel universe where everything worked out?”

She starts searching for a streaming link of the show, “Either way, it looks like I know what I’m watching for the next week. This will be fun. We can watch it together if you don’t watch ahead of me while I’m out at school and stuff.”

After finding someplace to watch this show, her cursor hovers over the play button when she looks back at Artemis, “But first, are you doing ok? You aren’t normally this energetic… in fact, most of the time, you’re asleep.”

Artemis shrugs, tilting his head a little trying to take the whole thing in. There were some odd coincidences, though a blue haired cat on the feet next to the Sailor Venus look-a-like made the white mau cringe a little.

'Tell me that's not supposed to be me." the cat says, but when Sophia questioned whether it was someone from another universe, the cat shrugged.

"I would normally say that would be impossible, but with the way the world works now who knows? Might be a simpler reason, or perhaps some ironic sense of coincidence. I'll watch it with you if you want." but his expression dampens when Sophia asked about his energetic behavior.

"...Well your mother has been known to put catnip toys around the house. Normally I try to avoid them but when I do inadvertently make some kind of contact with them, I tend to zone out and...yeah.." the white mau says, hanging his head in shame.

Sophia looks to see what Artemis is commenting on. “Oh, it’s not that bad… I wouldn’t say it’s totally unflattering. Of course, you’re about 100 times more adorable in person.”

Shaking her head at the mention of coincidence, “This is too creepily accurate to just be a coincidence, I think. I’d like to talk to the writer if I could. Maybe she knows something. Even if she didn’t, it would probably be an interesting discussion.”

Trying to stifle her laughter with her hand over her mouth, her amusement is evident. “Really? I wasn’t even sure that would have the same effect on you….” She attempts a more serious expression, “I’ll make sure to put the rest out of harm’s way.”

Pressing the button, she announces, “Alright, let’s start the show. I wonder how long this thing is…”

Only about ten episodes of the anime have been produced, which is noted as an in progress series, with new episodes coming out weekly usually though there are some bemoaning posts on the forums about one week where it took two weeks for the new episode to come out. The creator's name is Usagi Tsukino, whom is a noted but relatively modestly known manga artists along with some independent works.

Artemis looks up and tilts his head looking at the screen then back at Sophia again.

"We have more in common with earth cats than we want to admit sometimes..." he starts out with his embarrassment about the catnip before focusing on the important thing.

"If this stuff really is useful, then the author must have some way of finding out that could be to our benefit, at least if this isn't some ploy by Beryl's forces to draw us out."

Resting her head in her hands, and looking at the computer screen, she asks, “It seems weird for her to create a ploy that would have started before we even presented ourselves, wouldn’t it? I mean, it must have looked like that no one would oppose her until a few weeks ago. So unless she can see the future, then it doesn’t make sense to produce an anime to draw us out, figuring that you and Luna would escape, awaken the senshi and knights, the senshi and knights would be in Japan, and at least one of them would watch this show. And if she can see the future… that’s kind of scary to think about.”

She then leans back in the chair. “Usagi Tsukino… hmmmm… I don’t even know if there would be a way to meet her if we wanted to. Maybe she’s having a signing somewhere or is at a convention or something.” Searching for Usagi Tsukino, she hopes that maybe the artist has a website with a list of upcoming appearances.

Artemis offers no comment but just nods agreeing with what Sophia had just said. The white mau is quite in his pondering of what the implications of this arrangement could be.

When Sophia does the search for Usagi Tsukino, she finds that she lives in Ueno but unless Sophia paid in to one of those stalker websites, there was no address provided. She worked for Anime Dream Productions which operated in Shinjuku. She would also have a presence at the upcoming convention.
