Sophia walks over to the part of Juuban where college classes were held. She feels a little out of place in the high school uniform as if she was way too young to even step foot on that part of campus. She stands down at one of the tables in the college cafeteria and texts Kail: Are you in classes? Do you have time for lunch? I'm hanging around your cafeteria.

Kail was the best choice for someone to bring along to meet her father. He thought before he spoke, but was by no means quiet. He wasn’t full of himself. He didn’t come off as threatening. He understood the situation that they were in clearly. And on top of that, he was a native English speaker. Also if something bad happened, they could probably haul out of there quickly.

A few people give her curious glances as the high schooler sits alone. And a few more ask when she is applying and if she would like a tour as she waits.

Kail reaches into his phone to see who made the text and saw that it was Sophia. He raised a eyebrow at the message on wanting to meet him. He was going to spend his time near the library to do some research and work a bit on his story. The redhead quickly gets to Sophia's location and sees a lot of people there around. "Aye, ya blasted horndogs leave the lass be. Unless ya want to deal with me" he said and got most of the males to back off. He then takes a seat to face Sophia and then gives a glare to most of the guys to vanish and they did. Kail then gets his lunch out "So you wanted to speak to me about something" he said dropping japanise and was speaking in English to Sophia since it would be easier for them to talk to each other.

"Hopefully Valdis will not crash the party......I have gotten so much flak from most of the lads here. That its driven me batty......." he said with a sigh and got out a rather nice chicken sandwich, and it was rather massive. "And where are me manners, did you get a bite yet" he asked kind of looking a bit sheepish as he was about to eat his food.

"OHHHH HONEY BEAR!!!!"

A sing song voice echoed across the cafeteria, the purple haired pop princess stood on top of a table waving as she spotted Kail. She was wearing a long white sleeved corseted blouse with black ribbon lacing up the back. Form fitting leather black pants that also had a laced corset pattern up her thighs. Her feet were clad in simple black high heeled boots; and her hair was done up in a messy top bun. After Val called from across the room she began to skip from table to table, coming closer and closer all while waving like a ninny the whole time.

"I MISSED YOU HONEY BUNCH"

Ever since transferring Val had taken to running up to Kail in this fashion randomly throughout the day. Only increasing the teasing he had to endure. When she finally got close enough she jumped off the table and landed gracefully before throwing her arms around Kail, with a big dopey grin and a flutter of her eyelashes.

"Did you miss me as much as I missed you?"

An evil chuckle escaped her throat, when she finally noticed Sophia.

"LITTLE MOUSE! You finally came for a visit!"

Sophia tries to calm Kail down a little. “No, it’s fine. They just wanted to show me around this part of campus.” She looks back at them, “But I’m a bit busy as I’ve mentioned before.”

As Kail sits down, she smiles, "I’m fine. I just –" She gets cut off by the sound of Valdis. She laughs a bit as she runs over calling him pet names. “I’m only here for a little bit. But you’re going to make it so much harder for him to ask out Keitha if rumors are going around about you too. By the way, you should ask her out soon since the school dance is coming up and someone else may beat you to it. You could always tag along as she gets that tattoo… be the one to hold her hand…”

She lowers her voice a little and leans in, “Anyways, I need another team member to go with me as I meet with the American military. It would be nice if you came with me, Kail. I think if they saw at least two people it would be good. And the knights need a face for themselves.”

Kail was rubbing the back of his head a bit "Ya, but yer in the wolves den...there are plenty of them that could take advantage of you. No offence there Sophia" he said being a tad worried on the younger girl. Since most males there could have done such thing and said they were a friend of his and then lead her off. There was a slight chill that went down the redhead's spine as he felt something off. Then a loud shrill cry of Valdis showing up and he sighed and muttered in greek about his ball and chain. Kail had a look of why me as his favorite admirer showed up and just glomped him. Then hearing the bit on asking Keitha out just made him want to shrivel up and hide out in a bookfort somewhere.

".....No I did not miss you Valdis, I am going to the dance at any rate. There could be a certain encounter, that I don't think we should ignor" said Kail as he alluded to the fact that there could have been a covenant attack at the dance. Then he hears Sophia about talking to the American Military. JSDF was one thing to deal with but the American Military was in Kail's mind something volatile then the JSDF. She had asked him to accompany her to a meeting with them. He got worried but ran through his head on the other knights. He had a very sour look on his face as most of them would have not be a good idea except maybe David. But the guy was not flexible enough to roll with the punches in a sense.

"I can see why you came to me on this matter. Every well I will join you as your Yojimbo for the evening. I think you should come and talk to me on some of the finer points. Since I don't know what you have had planned" he said keeping his voice down and moved in a bit closer to speak to Sophia.

The pout on her face was evident when Kail announced he didn't miss her; she gave him a depressed puppy look. She kept it up for a second or two before turning her happy look over to Sophia.

"But it's so fun causing odd rumors!"

She leaned her head against Kail while trailing her finger over the spot that she had bitten a few days prior. She loved making him squirm.

"Plus the death notes I have been receiving just for being associated with Kail have been amusing; so imagine how much more I'm getting under the person's skin now..or persons. "

Now Kail had just received harmless teasing from his classmates, Val on the other hand had been getting some nasty notes left on her stuff. Valdis became intrigued when Sophia mentioned a meeting with the military. Her eyebrows rose, and a slight frown formed on her face.

"May I attend as well? Forgive me for worrying but if the American Military were to try something it would be easier to detain either one of you. While they may have good intentions it's still better to be safer than not. If I came along because of my relation to my father it would be significantly riskier to pull anything."

Sophia misunderstands what Kail means entirely about certain encounters at the dance. She smiles, “Yeah! You and her eyes meet across the room. And you ask her dance. Totally classic…”

“You’re getting death threats? By who?” Sophia looks somewhere between confused and frightened. She looks around the table a little. “Kail, do you have a stalker? Maybe you should call the police or something… Or have someone walk home with you.”

She shakes her head. “Anyways, you’re supposed to be helping set him up… not make him seem off-limits. He needs to be approachable.”

Sophia shrugs at the mentions of plans, “I don’t have much planned. We’re supposed to show up on base. I’d say as our alter egos for the time being. Besides that, the ball’s in their court once we get there. I assume they will ask a bunch of questions, and ask for our aid on the American front.”

She shakes her head at Valdis, “It may be less likely for things to go south if you showed up. But it’s far more likely to cause a political incident. It wouldn’t be all that great for your father politically. Besides, it would look… sort of sketchy. I’d like us to come off as a group that’s honest and upfront in our dealings. Your presence could be taken as a threat.” Valdis’ presence would more or less come off as a politically valuable human shield even if it was far from the truth. Not really the image she wanted the American military to have.

Kail facepalmed by both Valdis and Sophia, as he was expecting to get it from the woman that was attached to him. But not the girl across from him and he sighed and shook his head. "Ugh....why me" he said and then got his composure again although hard with Valdis stroking that part of his neck. Then hears the death threats and them being related to him. So he was just as surprised as Sophia. "No.....nothing out of the ordinary that comes to my mind. The only stalker I have is her" he points with his thumb to Valdis as he had a very sarcastic look on his face. But things get serious when it got to the major point at hand and heard both girls and was not pleased with either of them. They did need help but the American Military though was something he was weary of.

".......I agree with Sophia on this, you should not come to this. It would put your father in a bad postion against his political rivals. If things turn sour....I don't know if Nazo would be ok with it. but have him warp us out of there. I do not know what constraints he has on his powers. Since he helps in very dire situations, as to not stunt our growth as warriors" he said not seeing Nazo as someone that would help only in a certant situation. But he then has a worried look on Sophia on the matter on the US military. "Sophia if I may ask but why the US military of all people to ask for help" he asked since the redhead felt that he was not in the loop on the matter. But it was starting to be a common thing with him now. With a lot of females lately, although it would seem that it was only the two of them.

Valdis giggled at the fact Sophia joined right in on the teasing of her body guard. She tugged on his hair lightly when he asked why him.

"Because you make it so fun sugar pop; and it's not just one I assume its multiple my dearest"

Valdis took a folded note out from in-between her cleavage. She laid it out on the table and it read
' Dear Purple Succubus,
As the defenders of his Majesty, Prince Killian Lancaster, we ask you cease your attempts to steal his soul before we pursue more aggressive actions against you. It is apparent that he finds your existence detestable by the pained look on face at your approach. However, as his majesty has a kind heart, he refuses to destroy you like soulless abomination that we know you to be.
Fire seems to be a preferred method of disposing of demons and witches. However, we will forgo purifying your body and soul in holy flames, so long as you disappear from his Majesty’s life.'
The whole note seemed to amuse Val rather than threatening her. That and she had done the exact opposite of what the note writers wanted her to do.

"Quite frankly anyone within our little circle knows I'm not into Kail like that; at least I believe they do....He's more of a big brother I can annoy the crap out of. I'm amused however that his stalkers made such a direct statement of their displeasure...they could have been so much more creative. I'm a bit disappointed."

She chuckled; however her amused look turned to that of a frown when they didn't want her to come.

"I'm concerned if you only meet with the American Military the Japanese military is only going to trust you guys less....We need them both as alleys. If I am unable to come then I insist you included some one higher up in the Japanese military to attend the meeting as well. That way you'd be making a statement your willing to work with both of them but are not taking sides."

Sophia looks worried as Valdis reads the letter, “How can you be so calm about a letter like that? Shouldn’t you, I don’t know, file a police report or something?” She turns to Kail, “And you really haven’t seen anyone follow you? I’m not going to get death threat too, am I?”

Sophia considers what Valdis carefully. “I’d be happy to have any Japanese official talk to us, but I need some assurance that they won’t try to shoot at us or lock us away somewhere. I don’t think it can really be seen as playing favorites when they’ve acted openly hostile so far. If you want to try to extend some invitation to meet on our behalf, I’m fine with that. You can even make it clear that they were on talks with the Americans, but are by no means a part of their military. We merely wish for cooperation between both governments if at all possible. Yet, I don’t think bringing along some Japanese official on a first meeting with the Americans is the best idea either. It seems likely to just piss off the American military and get the Japanese government even more annoyed with them than they already are.”

“I think the best idea is to have someone extend an invitation to meet with the Japanese military or government before we meet with the American military. It looks more like we are reaching out, and not playing any kind of favorites. If they decline, then it’s on them, and they can’t get pissed off about us meeting with the Americans. If they accept on terms that guarantee us our safety, that’s great, and we have the support of two governments as opposed to just one.”

She smiles sheepishly at Kail as he expresses concern. “Sorry I haven’t explained much. Alright, so my father is a colonel and my mother is a commander. U.S. Marines. Yeah, I guess I don’t much fit the image of a kid born into a military family. I gave a few details about what happened during Scorpio’s attack on the art exhibit to my father. That more or less worked its way up the chain of command. So last Wednesday, I ended up meeting with the American president. He expressed some interest and curiosity in us. They don’t seem interested in shooting us, but with the state of the U.S. as it is, it makes some sense that they would seek us out. Seeing as it’s inevitable that we will take the fight to Virgo’s Citadel in the United States, it’d be helpful if we were at least on speaking terms with the United States government. I get the sense that their assault on the citadel is a ways off however, but they’ve been making substantial gains since Scorpio died.”

“Also, they got Nazo on film, and they’re sort of sketched out by him. So unless we want Nazo to be the public face of us, I suggest we make some kind of appearance.”

Kail starts reading it and was perhaps blushing quite hard. Partialy at was written as he never expected women to be that infatuated with him. The other was the shear psychosis of hatred to Valdis although was worried since her altered state was like a succubus. He did remember the two priestess's that were training with Rei Hino calling Val that. "I will admit that I am flattered that some women are attracted to me. But not like this though......It worries me a bit that it kind of hits really close to home now. Due to your chaotic state that you can go into Val. I would not be too worried like a week ago but now, it makes me think twice. Just have a bit more caution" he said and gently took the letter and then looked at it more closely. The writing style seemed a bit familure to him. When he heard Sophia speak up, Kail brings his attention to her.

"...For the most part I don't pay attention, although I should be on guard now. If you have these stalkers coming after you. I think you should talk to Kaguya, I don't think anyone would mess with you if you stuck around her. Even these stalkers would know of her reputation and not want to seek you out. Anyway....Valdis could I have the letter please. I am going to do some tongue lashing in my class, as I am going to assume that they would be there" the redhead said and then was floored by a semi bombshell about Sophia's parents as well as the president of the USA. Kail pondered over what both Valdis and Sophia had on this matter. This was not to Kail's liking but had to go with it for now. He did not like this news at all and slowly got his thoughts in order.

"Of corse there interested in us, they want to make us into there cute little bio weapons. I mean we took out one of the 13 big wigs...Sorry I am just looking at it from a more synical point of view. I digress though, we are going to need allies though. I am very much on the fence on this but, lets hear what they have to say. Well with the Americans, with the JSDF though. We do know some people we have encountered right. Lets talk with them and then try and work up the foodchain. This is my opinion though, Er I hope I am making some sense" he said looking a bit unsure of himself. Since he was trying to apply what he written in his stories into real use now.

Valdis looked at Sophia with a cool expression on her face; she was pretty un phased by the letter. a smile twitching at the corner of her lip; in fact she was amused by the letter. It was juvenile at best they certainly could have been more creative. When Kail mentioned her Chaotic state she shrugged; while it was a possibility that his stalkers knew of that form it was miniscule at best.

"Honestly I do not believe that this note is referring to that lovely aspect of myself; the tone of the note would have been very different if they had. They certainly wouldn't be threatening to burn me or use violence as a deterrent to be around you. They would have taken the black mail route if they had anything on me. However if it will put your mind at east precaution will be taken...but would you mind in your next class with the high schoolers; may I have a look at their writing assignments?"

Valdis eyebrows shot up in alarm at Kails plan.

"While you may have the letter I beg of you not to do any tongue lashing; it will ruin all my fun! Plus at that level of cracked upness the tongue lashing isn't going to do any good but more likely aggravate the situation. Also Little Mouse if these people approach or bully you in any way; let me know, I'll make sure to make their lives a living hell."

Her eyes grew dark; she would make true on that threat. While it was fun and amusing for her; mainly because she saw it as a bunch of new toys to play with she was sure Sophia wouldn't take on that mentality. But going back to the main subject of concern.

"As long as one of the group extends the invitation; that act alone would do wonders for the groups image. As for the American attack on the citadel I believe it's going to come sooner rather than later. We'll be marching on it before a year has passed. "

Valdis chuckled slightly at Nazo being the face of the senshi, he did have a cute face to do so.

"I think my hubby would be the perfect image for the senshi; gives us an air of mystery yes? After all they think he's Hades; what better image of beating down the Zodiac then the Greek gods? Yes?"

Resting her head on her left hand, Sophia thinks about extending an invitation to the JSDF in person. “I’m willing to talk to anyone of them, but who do you think is the best to approach? Is your father suitable or someone else? And how to talk to them? I’m pretty sure most won’t give me too much time to say anything especially after what Kishin did at the hospital. And we haven’t really helped our case much since then.”

“And less than a year? All the more important to sure about that relationship then.” She tries to imagine the scene, but finds it beyond her. Would Gabriel be there? If so, would she say anything?

Raising an eyebrow at that particular choice of word, she repeats, “Hubby?” Then it dawns on her. “You ate the seeds, didn’t you? At least, he hasn’t dragged you off to where we would never see you again…”

She shakes her head, “The greek gods weren’t all that nice. And, I rather think the rest of us shouldn’t be compared to our greek counterparts. I like to think we don’t have that much in common.”

“Also, we’re about so much more than beating up Zodiac members. We’re so much more than just war and death. That’s not the kind of things I want to be associated with or remembered by.” If she was going to go down in history, she wanted to be remembered for the people she helped and not the lives she took, which she preferred to be the smallest number possible.

She looks at Kail, “That’s the reason you’re the knight I wanted to come with me. You’re a good example of what we stand for: saving lives. You’re not all about the glory of it all. You’re dependable and reasonable. That's not to say the others aren't, but you're just exemplary in these things.”

Kail rubbed the back of his head and looked rather sheepish "Sorry.....I just feel powerless that I can't help with the situation at all. But I will keep my word on not taking action against them. Since that would be most unwise at the moment and yeah you can look at there papers. I am going to have to grade them and such" Kail said to Valdis and just facepalmed at the mentioning of Nazo. Even more so calling him hubby and that kind of made him get the chills. None the less he turns his attention to Sophia and her problems with both governments and then Kishin and that raised Kail's ire a bit and made him pissed off. Oh how he would love to bet the hell out of the guy.

"That bloody moron.....ugh.....if we have to do some of the talking with the JSDF. Let me speak to try and smooth things over. I've written a good amount of military based stories, even though there not based in modern times. There mentality is the same for the most part I think....and for the best people. Maybe we should talk to JSDF that have had some exposure to us. Perhaps they would be easier to talk to...and then build up from there. But we should have some sort of place and time for both meetings" said Kail and then just goes silent as he just thinks on what he would need to do. The Americans would be best done by Sophia since she had a better connection to them. So letting her talk to them would be the better idea. Then letting him talk to the JSDF for the most part since Kishin kind of screwed them in that area.

"At this current moment I am unsure, my father is skeptical about the senshi at best. However approaching him may be a better idea then approaching someone on the lower end of the military scale. So yes I say go for asking my father; even if he doesn't listen he will at least let you speak your objective first."

Valdis chuckled and nodded at Sophia.

"Yes I ate the pomegranate, but honestly I think it was a joke about that making me his wife. But I don't think you have much to worry about him being hades."

Valdis nodded when Kail said she could see the papers her would be grading.

"I will help you with that then"

Valdis chuckled at the mention of Kinshin fighting Kurio.

"I attacked Kurio once or twice; he gets over it eventually. However he is one person you might want to win over to your side. He's a decent sort and out of most military personal I would trust him."
