Yuki had been pleasantly surprised to receive a VIP pass to the sun dome, and of course wasn’t about to pass such an opportunity up. Since the pass appeared to be from Valdis, she assumed the others probably got the invite as well. However when she showed up, Yuki had no idea where she might find the group.

Originally she had planned to head straight for the pools wanting to get some swimming in. When she arrived though, in her slightly lost wanderings around the large complex, Yuki got side-tracked by a large, tropical forest type park. It was a pretty impressive site and not something one got to see very often with the world in its current state. As she walked, Yuki wore short black swim shorts along with a black and white striped bikini top with a loose fitting, sleeveless red jersey over top. She might not have had the curviest of frames, but Yuki did support an impressive athletic build with just the right amount of slim, toned muscle ideal for a soccer player. In addition, she wore a pair of black sandals on her feet and a pair of stylish sunglasses on her face and a red duffle bag slung over her shoulders.

For now Yuki figured she’d just take a leisurely walk and possibly meet up with others if they were around later. Even the energetic athlete enjoyed taking it easy every now and then. Plus she had plenty of time for swimming and surfing and the like later.

Yuki would hear someone walking around not too far away from her. She would more then likely see that it was Kail. As his red hair was a dead give away to most people plus the glasses that framed his face. He was dressed for the beach as he had a light white button down shirt and a pair of black and red swim trunks to show his toned frame. "Jeeze......at least I got a bit of sleep away from them.......Oh hey Yuki" said Kail as he had taken the time to wander about the Rainy Way for a bit and found a place for a nap. After that though he woke up and saw his other half of Mars. Once he got closer though he got a better look at the girl. She was being modest compaired to most of the other senshi.

Yuki was surprised to stumble upon somebody else she knew and pulled her sunglasses up on top of her head to get a better look.

”Oh…Kail, hey.” She suddenly realized that this was the first the time the two of them had really talked or met up one on one. Well they had fought together before, but Yuki still didn't really know all that much about the other. Originally she had thought he was some sort of rival or something. Quickly examining the Mar’s Knight, Yuki couldn’t help but give a small chuckle.

”This seems an odd place to take a nap. But I take it that means the others got the invite as well.” Looking around, Yuki couldn’t help but smile.

”This place is pretty amazing…almost makes you forget where you really are…at least for a little while.”

"Well it feels peaceful and that yeah it does feel like your somewhere else said Kail as he rubbed the back of his head. He then looks over at all of the plants growing about "And yeah most of the others are here, you were the only one missing" he said and was trying to still try and spark a conversation with Yuki. Since neither of them had anything in common to talk about. But he would do his best to make something work. "So how was your training with Kino-san" he asked since the woman did train her in some sort of fighting skill. So he would start from there at least.

”Ah well I’m typically one for sleeping in when I get the chance. Didn’t realized I’d be missed…” She responded, standing casually as she looked over at Kail. He appeared to be actively trying to keep conversation with her, and she supposed she was intrigued to know more about him.

”Ah right training with Sensei. Well it’s exhausting to say the least,” Yuki gave a sheepish grin as she rubbed the back of her head. ”Sensei is really tough….but super strong and really cool too. I’m definitely getting stronger.” Yuki thought for a moment. ”Oh right, she had suggested a teacher for you didn’t she? Did you ever find them?” She asked, genuinely curious.

"That's good at least your's did not come after you with a real katana blade wanting to see you blood" said Kail rubbing the back of his head sheepishly. As he remembered what Inaba did the first time they met. Although it had been quite a struggle when he and his sensei clashed blades. "The man overpowered me, I knew my sword arm was rusty but I did not expect it to be that bad. Although as you saw with the battle with Scorpio I was able to deal a rather heavy blow to him after meeting the man" he said and then pondered something that was on his mind.

"I can tell your in really good shape from the several battles we fought in so far. Do you play some kind of sport" he said trying to break some of the ice with Yuki since that was the first major thing to get over.

”Well of course your teacher is going to be stronger than you. If you think you are already the best, how are you supposed to improve?” Yuki thought for a moment. ”And I guess it’s a good thing that our teachers don’t hold back. I don't know about you, but I want to be the power of our group. I'm not the type to be able to come up with some clever strategy to beat my oponent”

When Kail asked if she played a sport, Yuki was suddenly very aware with how little the two actually knew about each other.

”Ah yes, well I’ve played quite a few over the years, but I’m aiming to go pro in soccer. What about you? You’re…in college right? What are you aiming to do?”

Looking around, Yuki began walking forward, motioning for Kail to follow her.

"Let's walk and talk. I don't do well standing still for long periods of time."

Just then a wild Valdis appeared, giggling maddly the purple haired demon ran up and snagged a certain red haired mans glasses before running away with them. Disappearing off into the brush off the trail; she was gone as fast as she came.

"Well he was that insanely strong. You do realize that he came with a blade that would have been able to kill me. He also sensed my powers of being a knight and confused me for a Covenant Cultist. So in a real sense I was fighting for my life rather then a sparing match"said Kail as he did not want be a buzz kill. Yeah he knew that teachers were not meant to take there students easily but his took the cake. "Yeah I know that there meant to not hold back but my situation was diffrent" he said and then shook his head on not needing any planning to fight the enemy. There were some tactics and some strategy that had to be used in a fight. He starts to head down a path that was to the right of them.

"Well yeah, I can see that with you, but it frustrates me to no end that I can't get anyone to stop and make some sort of plan. I tried to make a battle plan but it just blows up in my face. Due to someone running in there like Leroy Jenkins" he said showing that he was a polar oppisit to her. That he was a thinker and a fighter since he was one of the few that had some combat skills. Even before coming a Knight of Mars. "Sorry....I did not mean to go on a rant like that....I should relax a bit" he said looking embareist and rubbing the back of his head several times.

"Well in collage I am taking classes for creative writing. I want to be a writer and storyteller for people. Everyone likes a story to get them through a bad time or give them hope. Most of the things I have written have been meant to give my readers a sense of things that will change for the better. Or do not give up hope." Kail smiles a bit at Yuki about her goals in life. Seeing that she wanted to go pro for soccer. "Lets hope that if there is peace in this world. I hope you go for the big time, plus I will try and go to every game you play" he said since now they were getting things going.

That was until Kail's Valdis senses were tingling and felt something bad was going to happen. For Kail they were as before he could do anything Valdis stole his glasses. While running off giggling like a kinder on crack. "VALDIS GET YOUR BUTT BACK HERE" he yelled and his hand tried to grab her but she was too quick. Although he was touching something rather soft and his face went to the same color of his hair. "Uh.....Yuki.....please don't kill me" he pleaded as his hand was accidently touching her breasts. It was not his fault that he had poor eyesight.

Yuki couldn’t help but frown somewhat as she crossed her arms.

”Well I’m not saying you don’t have a point….I’m just saying that since we are already fighting for our lives as it is, maybe it’s better that ‘practice’ is the same way.”

She the listened as Kail mentioned the whole strategy thing and how it seemed to bother him.

”Well to be honest you probably just don’t have the leadership qualities to carry out the strategies you want with a group of our size. You have to really get to know everyone and learn how to be in sync first.” Yuki responded rather frankly. However, she meant no malice by her words and afterwards seemed to think carefully for a moment.

”Hey I have an idea! Why don’t we try out something a bit smaller, just you and me? Maybe we can coordinate some sort of cool combo attack.” She seemed pleased by the idea and hoped Kail might like the suggestion. Yuki may not be a strategic thinker, but she had both the instinct and practical knowledge for successful teamwork. Even if he didn’t realize it, Kail could learn a thing or two from her.

”Haha yeah definitely relax….but don’t be afraid to talk about what’s on your mind either. I felt like I really got to know you a bit better just then,” Yuki gave a wink as she grinned at the red head. He seemed like the quiet, serious type but also honest, so Yuki didn’t really mind him. She then listened as he spoke of wanting to become a writer and was surprised when he told her that he would go to all of her games.

”Well you better get in line for an autograph now then.”

Then as they were walking, all of a sudden Valdis popped out of nowhere and before Yuki knew what was going on, the purple-haired singer had made off with Kail’s glasses. It was then that Yuki felt something touch her chest. Yuki’s face then turned equally red and before she could think she reacted by grabbing Kail’s wrist with one hand and his arm just above the elbow with the other. In one fluid motion she stepped inside, her back against his chest, and with a yell flipped him over her shoulder and onto the ground in front of her.

It was only then that she realized what she had done.

”Oh Kail! I’m so sorry. Are you alright?” She asked, trying to help him back up.

Kail had agreed with what Yuki had said and was going to say a few things to her. But was caught off guard when Valdis had stole his glasses. So when he touched her like that he felt quite embareist and was expecting a scream and then a massive slap to the face. Although this time around she grabbed him and threw him over his shoulder. The redhead would have gasped in pain but without his glasses he let out a yelp of pain as he hit the ground. Kail tried to get his mind back to computing what had been going on and hears Yuki apologizing greatly. "Uuuuhhhhhh.......I guess that training with Kino-san really soaked in" he said while trying to focus on Yuki.

His eyesight was very blurry and could tell she was there but not what she looked like. "I'm pretty much blind without my glasses on.....I swear I will pay Valdis back for this" he said and got back up with Yuki's help. "I really hate to trouble you now Yuki after all of that....but you going to have to help me around a bit. I can not see very far or a few feet in front of me" he said looking very embareist since this was one of the few times where he was very weak. Oh he was going to get his vengeance somehow and had something in mind. But would be too hard to do right now.

”Sorry about that, my body sort of reacted automatically,” Yuki responded as she helped Kail up. Luckily he didn’t seem hurt, and the awkward moment seemed to pass as Kail explained he could not see very well without his glasses.

”Ah…well unfortunately I have no idea where Valdis went. I suppose we could take a walk and try and look for her. Uh here…”

Yuki hesitated a moment before grabbing Kail’s hand, figuring she would need to lead him if he was truly as blind as he said.

”I think she ran off in this general direction,” Yuki then began walking in said direction, leading Kail by the hand.

"Well its that I can make out shapes and stuff. But its all a blur and if I am not familure with the area. I might be lost for a long time.....So again I thank you for leading me around. I will make Valdis pay for this dearly" Kail said and then took a breather and let Yuki guide him a bit as they walk together. He takes a minute to take in the sounds around them as there were several birds within the park. "Don't worry too much on the auto reactions and lead the way" he said and went back to the conversation that they had earlier before Valdis came in and stole his glasses. The thought of a combo attack would be something interesting but not sure how to do that.

"Before we were rudly interrupted by Val, about the combo attack. I'm not sure how that would work since we differ greatly in combat styles. You tend to use your speed and agility on the bad guys. While I tend to use my power a lot for a massive heavy hit. Perhaps we learn from each other? Maybe teach me a bit more on soccer? Like maybe the finer points of like the fancy footwork. And I teach you how to use a sword? That way we could get a better understanding of each other's abilities. I hope I am not making this too long winded for you" said Kail as he saw Yuki not the best in learning stuff at school. But she was a bright individual and was upfront on things.

"Also have you thought about after getting training from Kino-san. Did you want to pick up a martial arts style of fighting" said Kail as he had considered recommending one awhile back but did not have the time to do so.

”It sounds like you and Valdis are close,” Yuki observed, based on the way Kail referred to the other. She really didn’t know what he meant by auto reactions, but simply nodded and continued walking. When the conversation shifted back to a combo attack Yuki shrugged.

”That’s why I suggested it. Don’t take this the wrong way, but if something like that isn’t naturally intuitive to you, it is probably the reason why you lack natural leadership abilities. That’s why I suggest we figure it out and work on it. First we gotta know more about one another. You forget, my main attack is essentially a one heavy hitter, though I am working on better utilizing my agility with Kino-sensei.”

She nodded when Kail suggested they teach each of their skills to the other.

”Yeah that could work. Sounds fun….and I don’t know what you mean by long-winded…but I guess fighting is the only thing we really have in common so I don’t mind.” When Kail asked Yuki about her thoughts after training, a slightly confused look crossed her features.

”Well I think I still have a long way to go before completing my training with Sensei. I don’t really plan on training in a singular martial art style if that’s what you mean. Instead I’ve sorta been working with all forms of martial arts to develop my own style…if that makes sense. Why do you ask?”

"Huh......Well I thought of speed due to you having that dashing skill where you leave a trail of fire in your wake. Plus you played soccer so yeah...that's what gave me the thought that you were a fast person. Your main attack maybe a heavy hit, But its again very fast since you kick it like a soccer ball. I think in theory you could move the fireball like a soccer ball. Maybe for a short time but you could postion your self in a better spot to deliver the blow" said Kail as he was thinking over that idea. Since his main attack had a odd after effect so in a sense he was thinking that Yuki could do the same thing. Since they had the same planet and element to work off of.

Kail raised an eyebrow as she seemed to be kind of meh on the idea of the cross training idea. But it seemed she wanted to know him more outside of the fighting area. An idea came to him that he would spring later on Yuki. "A very interesting answer, I was going to sudjest Taekwondo to you, its nearly a style of fighting that focuses on kicking the enemy. Its a very powerful style that you could rush your opponent down. I thought of it again since your main focus of yourself has been your legs " he said showing that he did pay attention to people.

"But, the reason I like your answer is that you are following Bruce Lee's principles on fighting. The way he made his own style was doing what your trying to do. Learn various styles and take the best skills to make them into your own" said Kail as he hoped that he did not insult Yuki. Since she boldly put that he did not know much about her. So this also gave him the idea to bring up that bet they had awhile back.

Kail grin on his face and hated to pull something like Valdis. But her personality had grown on him slightly. "By the way Yuki, me and Valdis are close but not in that way. So I am still single, and I can still take a cute girl like yourself out for a date" he said knowing that this could get him slapped in the face.
