"You're not weak. Not by any extent. Just because your powers don't let you blow up buildings or monsters with the greatest of ease doesn't mean anything. You don't have to like be the hardest hitter to be powerful...at least that's what I think." Kenji says. Inwardly he frowned slightly when Sophia seemed a little uncomfortable at him touching her hand, and he withdraws his own.

When Sophia elaborated on the Silver Princess, he was still confused. The subject went over his head, and he then kinda blanked out. The 'Ama' girl sounded interesting, but he didn't know who she was off the top of his head: he only ever saw Sailor Moon and even if he did hear her name, the connection was lost on him right this second.

"Well...maybe just google Silver Princess and maybe it'll lead to something...you never know." he says leaning back as he closes his eyes. "Thank you for coming here Sophia...it was nice to see such a lovely face as the first thing when I woke up from falling asleep again..."

...Perhaps the Venus effect hadn't entirely left his system. Just as soon as he said it, his face reddened perhaps as he didn't entirely realize it.

“It would be so strange if this search ended with using google…. And thus the internet saved the world,” Sophia jokes. “Thank you, for listening to me though.”

She blushes as he calls her lovely. She can’t recall any time a boy her age said something like that… let alone mean it. Why was she so awkward about this?! “I’m glad we could talk again. Maybe when you get out of her you can finally show me your artwork? I still haven’t seen it. And you still owe me the costume even if I already have one in a different color. If you could find out who commissioned it, maybe that will gives some leads.”

“Ummm… I should probably let you sleep though.” She hesitates a little before kissing him on the forehead. “Ermm… bye.” Getting up, she leaves the room a little awkwardly.

As Sophia begins to make her escape, Kenji reaches out to her once more once she was a few feet away.

"Sophia, wait...please come back soon.." he says, but he then slinks back down on the bed. His consciousness begins to return to passing out...so he would miss the reply if any was given.

As Sophia runs out of the room, she ends up bumping into Dr. Mizuno, whom was dressed in emergency room scrubs. When she panicked and ran into the building getting all sorts of attention, Mizuno was in the emergency room stabilizing a soldier patient. She was alerted to Kenji regaining consciousness, but there were higher priorities at the time so an intern had done the initial work.

"Ms...Sophia yes? You have remarkable timing, showing up when he regains consciousness. I would certainly like to know how you gained such timing." she says, suspicion obvious in her voice.

Sophia leaves red in the face, trying to decide what everything meant if anything at all. However, the doctor knocks her out of her thoughts.

As the Dr. Mizuno looks at her suspiciously, she mostly looks confused. Did she think she was up to something? “Well, my timing is mostly due to the masked man. He told me when he would regain consciousness,” she says, and for the most part, that was the honest answer.

If Dr. Mizuno was going to be like this every time she visited, it would be sort of a hassle though. She sighs, “I’m not trying to cause a problem in the hospital, and it’s not my intention to worry you. I can tell that you really care for all your patients, and are scared that I'll do something to jeopardize their recovery. If there is anything I can do to put your fears to rest and assure you that I’m not trying to do anything, I’d be happy to entertain whatever you have in mind."

“Also, it’s really awkward to visit a friend when his doctor keeps glaring at you,” she tries to laugh off.

"The fact you associate with the masked man is alone reason to suspect a more direct involvement." Dr. Mizuno says, as she then softens her expression a little. Being so hard and firm was only going to create lies and excuses from Sophia. A different approach was needed. She empties her hands, putting a clipboard on the counter nearby and looks into the room where Kenji is.

"The government tries to hide it, but it's clear there's an escalating problem here. I know that to some extent, you are bound to know or associate with the young people that are rumored on the internet news sites that are fighting the monsters of that cult." she says as her exhausted expression leads to her eyes closing for a moment, the dim light of the room illuminating the soft pearl earrings of the bluenette doctor.

"Should I expect more of these young people to come into my care when they lose those battles? What should I do if the Military Police ever catch on, knowing that these young people who get her in bizarre conditions can do something others cannot. As a doctor and a human being, should I support these young people in their endeavor and hide it, knowing they might be a key to turning this around and stopping more loss of life, or should I uphold the law and prevent incidents that have happened recently along with protecting my existing patients?" she says softly, showing a conflicted and contemplative mind.

"I graduated at the top of my class and my IQ was last tested at 207, along with years of experience and medical awards, and I still do not have the answer to this and more. There are still factors I don't know of, but can we accept that children may be fighting the battle that adults cannot win?"

Sophia looks surprised at the mention of internet rumors. It’s not like they tried to cover their tracks, so she knows she shouldn’t be. However, she felt odd about the idea of people discussing who and what they were.

She gives a sympathetic look as the doctor talks about her moral dilemma. It was a difficult predicament. “I can’t say I’m not thankful for informing law enforcement after figuring all this out, but I understand this puts you in a rather bad situation. I can explain as much as I know to you. And well, I suppose if you want to turn us in after that, it’s up to you.”

“Alright, answering each of your questions. I certainly hope more of us don’t show up here. We are unprepared to deal with force that harmed Kenji originally, but we have now succeeded against Scorpio. However, his injuries were the only one that I couldn’t heal so far. I don’t really know our own rumors, so I don’t know whether that’s well known or not. If the Military Police catch on, well, I guess that’ll cause some issues for the superheroing stuff, but I’ll deal with it as best I can. We don’t want to cause any issues for your patients, and I don’t really anticipate the fact knowing who we are will do so. In fact, I might be of some service in helping some of your patients if you like. And whether everyone can accept us, I imagine some will and some won’t. But we will try our best to protect everyone anyways.”

Her eyes look back towards Kenji’s room, and she rubs her arm. “I guess you haven’t really seen us at our best though, so I understand if you believe that this is a losing war. But as you said, we are able to do something others cannot. And we make great improvements with each battle. Please have some faith in us.”

Keeping her eyes on his room, she is quiet for a second before adding, “Thanks for not bothering him about this though.”

Dr. Mizuno listened quietly as Sophia went into an explanation and a confession of sorts. The explanation that there was a group that had defeated something called Scorpio, with the doctor not making the immediate connection due to the fact that as a physician she focused on healing the wounded and not as much about inane facts about the Covenant such as the names of the Zodiac members. The mention about Kenji and the involvement he had along with the fact Sophia couldn't heal the wound made her wonder: did this young girl have some kind of healing 'power'? She mentioned she might be able to help, at which the doctor shook her head.

"We can't just mystically heal people. If people suddenly went from wounded to well, there had to be an explanation and a scientific and medical accounting. To call it a miracle would draw every scrutiny imaginable and would likely make the patient's life quite unpleasant." Dr. Mizuno says as she sits on a bench, closes her eyes, and sighs a little.

"If you know the one who can throw rocks around, please ask him not to attack any more military personnel within my hospital. That room is still under repair. But I want to ask. Even if you are uniquely capable and powerful enough to bend nature and life, why do you do this? Is it just an altruistic way to try to help others, or is there another motivation?" she says as she looks at the odd young woman in front of her.

Well, so far so good. The doctor hadn’t thrown her out or threatened to call the MPs on her. While that was still a possibility for when Sophia left the hospital, it seems rather unlikely when the doctor replies to her. She sits down on the bench next to Dr. Mizuno, looking as people shuffle around in the halls.

“I guess it would be tough for everyone to understand,” Sophia says, frowning a little at the thought she couldn’t be much use in this hospital. “But still, I don’t really like seeing people in pain. I think in some cases, it may be worth doing. My offer to help out still holds if you change your mind. Admittedly, I’m still tired from earlier today though, so I won’t be great at it right now.”

Looking down as Dr. Mizuno mentions Kishin’s outburst, she rubs her head a little sheepishly. Not only did he cause a scene, but evidently he broke a few things as well. “I’ll send along the message to him. I’m sorry about whatever happened… He’s normally such a nice, good-humored guy, so I assume he’d didn’t intend to cause you or anyone problems either.”

Looking up after Dr. Mizuno asks her about her motivations, she looks back a little confused. Wasn’t it obvious? “A little more than a week ago, I was told I had weird supernatural powers, and some ability to fight what others could not. I don’t like violence, and I’m kind of pacifist. But I want to protect people, to save people, more than anything else. I want to bring an end to all this fighting. So that is why I do what I do. I think most would do the same in my position.”

"We don't get any money or benefits from this thing if that's what you're curious about. Even if we did, I'd feel bad about accepting pay for doing something that is more or less a moral obligation. And now I think we're fugitives or something because the Japanese military was going to attack us. Really, mostly bad things have happened to us so far even though we're doing the right thing. I can't imagine anyone doing this kind of job for any other reasons but a desire to help the world. We all believe we can change things and want to do so."

“Can I ask you a question though? I haven’t read our own news. What rumors are flying around us?” she asks, almost a little excited.

When Sophia explained her motivations and her desires for why she was going to keep fighting and then the way she perhaps too casually decided to refer to herself as one of the vigilantes. She had a long moment of silence before she spoke again. It was a lot to suddenly have a vigilante explaining everything, but the worst part of it?

She believed her.

There was something about her expression, her eyes, her tone that just made it hard to believe she could ever do wrong or not speak the truth, after a sigh, she seemed to almost give up her objections.

"Look, I'll try to help if a medical problem comes up...I doubt you're going to stop just because I tell you to, and even if I went to the MP then a fight would probably break out and you all would just try to kill each other. It's not a gain. My dream is to see an end to this kind of fighting.." she says wistfully wit a slight laugh as the mature woman in her knew it was the impossible dream of a child.

When Sophia asked about the rumors, Dr. Mizuno shrugged.

"The usual stuff...some people supporting it, some people against it, a majority of people not believing it or thinking it is some kind of government conspiracy. The Japanese Government often goes to lengths to make sure that this sort of thing is contained, it's why you don't see much of it on the news. I've come to believe that the term 'accident' in the news to be a cover for something else."

Sophia waves her hands in front of her frantically as Dr. Mizuno claims that she and the MP would kill each other. “Oh no. You’ve got it all wrong. I would never hurt another human being like that. I don’t ever really want to fight when I do. I’m kind of a pacifist. I’d probably just run. Go be a hobo somewhere.” The thought of her leaving on the streets enters her mind, and she’s fairly glad that this situation didn’t come to that.

“But yeah, I wouldn’t stop because you told me to,” she admits, “I mean, I have the same dream. So you understand why I can’t stop. I believe it’s possible that there’s an end to all this otherwise I wouldn’t be doing all this.”

She leans back into the bench, “I don’t know how you would cover something like the fight earlier today up. I mean, it was kind of noticeable. Well, at least some people know and support us. I feel good knowing not everyone wants us gone.” It was kind of a nice thing to know.

"I'd hope so...but I just hope that situation never has to be tested." Dr. Mizuno says as she looks with disbelief at the mental image of something playing out like that. Sophia would see the expression of someone who's dealt with the aftermath of violence enough times to the point of losing faith in an end of it even if her words said otherwise.

"It's easier than you think. Most people want to believe Japan is special, somehow evading the wrath that has befallen almost every other people in the world. They don't want to accept that for some reason, some how, we are deliberately being kept relatively intact. I mean, it doesn't match the pattern of the other behaviors seen through the world, and I believe if they wanted to they could make an Obelisk manifest just as readily as anywhere else in Tokyo or further south in Japanese territory." she says. Her opinion was always being more realistic than idealistic, and the doctor would never give in to the fantasy that some people enjoyed.

"I suppose ignorance is Bliss, but don't just expect others to blindly help you. The government I'm sure is more than fed up with the disruptions and might even try to exterminate you to appease them and prolong their fantasy sanctuary."

Sophia never really considered the idea that Tokyo was being left untouched for some purpose. While she couldn’t fathom a reason why the Covenant would do that, it did seem like they had the power to overrun an area if they wanted to. “I guess that makes sense…”

She shrugs a little when Dr. Mizuno talks about others and the government. “Oh, I don’t expect others to do that, but it’s just nice to know. Evidently, not everyone wants to shoot at us. I’m hoping our relationship with the government won’t stay like that. Admittedly, they haven’t really had any positive interactions with us and we do look kind of dangerous, so cooperation may be a ways off. However, I think we can get there eventually.”

Standing up from the bench, she jokes, “Can I assume that I’m not kicked out of this hospital then?”

“I should probably get back home sometime soon though. Again, I’m sorry about my friend's disturbance. If there is anything I can do to make it up to you and this hospital, I’d be glad to. And if you ever need our assistance, don’t hesitate to ask. I can give you my phone number if you like.”

"Very well. Come back if you wish, so long as you don't cause trouble." Dr. Mizuno says as Sophia makes to move on her way out. She had spent enough time as it is, and she still had patients to tend to. Dr. Mizuno begins to walk off and disappear into the complex of hallways and rooms, leaving Sophia to let her self out.
