Killian was on another shopping trip for himself. He was in the mood to find an older videogame system. To play a few old games that were not up for download on the Playstation 5. And browsed several shops along the way. If he did not find what he was looking for. Then just looking at the various shops for prices on items were good enough. He was trying to budget the money in his bank account on things he wanted. And things that he needed.

The red head stops into a Starbucks, as now they became a world chain and got himself a hot chocolate to stave off the cold. The endless winter was getting to him. How could one change this planet's fate. It was a injustice and a crime to see the planet rot away like this. When would anyone see wild flowers blossom again from the ground. Or the warmth of the sunshine on his face.

There were too many questions and not enough answers to figure this out. Kail was just a mortal, there were no gods. If there were gods they must have been laughing down at earth or were out to lunch. During his thoughts, Kail took a wrong turn and was walking down a empty road that had several closed and unused storefronts.

The ways of the cat are many.

In spite of tentative ownership by a senshi, the cat always finds a way to squirrel around while she's elsewhere occupied. Artemis has to find the other senshi that may be out there after all! Even if the mission is entirely screwed up beyond belief now, it was clear that it was still possible.

As the cat in white makes his way down Akihiba, he senses something nearby. This was different...it was like planetary energy, but it wasn't what he was familiar with. Pipqued, the cat approached, seeing the redheaded man in a more remote part of the city, a place where the bad crowd tended to hang. Deciding to play it safe, the cat lurked in the bushes for now...watching with careful interest.

Passing by Killian, an attractive woman passed. Wearing a fur coat of some value, her long red hair flowed down her back, as a white fur hat covered her head. Her makeup was immaculate, showing soft tones and highlighting the woman's own natural beauty. Black gloves covered her hands while black boots adorned her feet with a slight heel in the back. Her figure was thin, but had those 'ideal' measurements that many men are known to idolize.

She seemed spaced out and slipped on a piece of ice, falling upon her back, letting out a slight skreech as her feet went in the air, landing on her back and dazed staring at the sky. A few other people nearby watched, and chuckled slightly at her indignation, including a group of similarily dressed, punk style kids whom may or may not be associated in a gang of some sort.

Valdis strolled along behind the woman, her eyes half lidded in sleep. Her violet eyes shifting to watch those around her. Her hair was slightly curled and it cascaded down like waves down her back. The jacket was different then her one she wore yesterday….since the other one was in shreds. Today she wore a red leather jacket with black leather accents accents. Her pants were tight black leather, while her shoes were thick soled boots…much better for walking on the icy streets. Her jewelry was a spike leather choker necklace, and a silver ring with a skull. She even had a silver skull clip among her purple locks. The bottom of her face was a black surgical mask, typically worn for those who had colds or allergies.

Valdis blinked in surprise as the woman whom she was fallowing slipped and fell on her back. She bent down next to the woman and gave her a slight concerned gaze.

”Manager-san?...you really should wear shoes with a thicker tread…”

This woman was assigned to her as her new manager, she had chased the last few off. Usually this one would be gone by now but Valdis was out of sorts, being that she had caught a cold from her adventures from last night. She held out her hand to help the woman up.

Kail had been caught off guard with the sudden slip and fall of a woman. And even then he cursed in his head that he was not in the right side of town if it were. As there were thugs waiting for an easy prey like the person that fell down. He walks over to her and sees another woman come over to help her. On approach, Kail sees that one of them was familure but could not put his finger down on it.

"Pardon me but do you ladies need help" he asked nicely as he did not know the full situation on what was going on. That and Kail did not feel very comfortable with so many hungry eyes all around. But something was definitely off. As it could be any number of things in the area. And that vibe was just eating at him.

"...Quite fine, thank you." she snaps, standing up and glaring at Killian, her opinion of him obviously not friendly. A glare to Valdis about her footwear of choice later, she was moving again.

"Well we are already behind schedule thanks to your little incident with the military police, what were you thinking pulling that prank?!" she says, flustered at the thought of a vague incident that occurred recently. She then huffs and begins to stomp her way towards the main road, expecting Valdis to follow.

The street gang that watched however, decides to approach, one of them rapidly approaching Valdis, reaching out to grab her arm.

"Hey Cutie, you seem familiar! You look like that hot little singer, wanna come play for us?" he says with a cheeky grin, missing one of his front teeth.

Killian just shrugs as the woman just told him off like a thug. He was going to say something a about her attitude. But it was not his place or the area. And was about to walk away until the thugs moved in on the masked female. That and used the most lame, most over used, sleezy line ever. Kail was taking a look at the woman that was grabbed by the thug. He did not want to be the type to save the damsel in distress.

But the redhead could not tell if the face mask was for a fassion statement. Or that she was under the weather with a cold. And the other reason was that these guys had numbers. Either way though his honor prevented him from running. As this woman was going to be in danger. So Kail turns to the thug "I'm sorry but this lady would prefer someone with a bit more class. And your not the type to say no to a answer" he said and then threw out a open palm slap with a high amount of force to the Thug's temple.

This was meant to stun the person with a massive amount pain. This would in essence force the thug to let go of the woman. Plus give the woman a chance to run or fight back. As her choice and option to do so. While doing this though, Kail was looking for a weapon of some sorts. As he was looking for something that was sturdy that could be used for a weapon. He knew some unarmed combat but was better with a weapon due to his training in kendo.

"If you want to run or fight, miss make your choice now" said Kail as he was prepairing in his mind for a real fight on his hands.

Val shrugged at the glare, she was so use to them from various people that it didn’t faze her anymore. Though she did smile slightly under her bask at the mention of her prank, it was one of her more amusing ones. Earlier while they had been walking Valdis had been trailing a little behind. When they had passed by one of the police stations Val had paused to speak to one of the guards and handed them something all while pointing at her manager. What she handed them was a pair of lacy panties, and what she had told them was that they slipped off of the woman while she was trotting about. Val also told them she was to embarrassed to inform the poor woman and thought they might have a gentler touch. After all the woman had to be just as embarrassed. ….What fallowed was denial and attempts to console and return the panties….all in all it ended up with a steamed manager shoving underpants in her bag.

”I was thinking it’d amuse me, and it did”

Valdis looked back up towards the man who came over to help, before she could respond she was yanked by the arm. Behind her mask she frowned…. But the other man had jumped in with his own remark.

”That is true, I like masked men who can implode on themselves….”

Valdis’s tone was completely serious, though her eyebrows shot up when the man who was holding her got suckered punched. NOW THAT was amusing, she took the moment to take a cheap shot and kicked the toothless man in the nuts.

”Listen here, it will only take a second to make a phone call and I can have cops and press here within the next couple of minutes. I could beat your face black and blue and the one who will get charged for assault is you…cause face it…who will japan side with…a group of thugs or a Japanese idol..”

Her voice held a sweet and cheery tune to it, if her manager was even half capable she’d be taking the chance to call the police right now… if not Valdis would make sure to have her ass fired. Valdis act was interrupted with a fit of coughing basically taking all the hiss out of her threat. She looked back over at the red head…it was obvious she wasn't running anywhere fast. She was getting into to much trouble lately...

”Would you like some pepper spray….my bags full of it…also got some lighters”

Why she was carrying so many bottles of pepper spray and lighters was a question that would be answered another day.

Before Valdis would know what happen next, she suddenly found herself tingly all over, and then 'imploded' upon herself, as she was abruptly transported to the top of a building nearby, out of sight of the others on the ground. Standing off to the right side about ten feet, the masked man looks at her for a moment, and then back at the ground.

"Good, it worked. I wasn't sure how well that would play out on another target. You are going to be glad to be up here shortly." he says, then looking at the ground again.

Meanwhile, the 'manager' blinks. One moment, she was getting up from a snow slipping incident, the next, there was a fight breaking out and Valdis suddenly went missing. She narrows her eyes...something snapping, something turning and changing. Her tone went from annoyed to a down right evil and sadistic tone.

"...Well...this is inconvenient, which one of you took her. You will make my other life so much more difficult trying to explain why that little brat didn't show up to her next practice. I really don't have time to mess with you, so I believe you are all going to die now...I'll extract the information from your dead bodies." she says, revealing her own mental instabilities as her form shifted...

Black leggings manifest around her legs, while her skin turns a deep red. Her hair turns a white, and her eyes a glowing blue. Her garments surrounding her are a blue cloth covering her torso, but leaving her arms exposed while blue tattoos glow with energy along her arms. Her fingernails turn into short claws, while a long, thin tail manifests from her hips.

The thug whom just suffered a beatdown between Killian and Valdis points at the true form of the 'manager' and wide eyed begins to panic, trying to scramble to his feet.

"It's one of those C..C...Covenant Freaks! Run!" he shouts, but then finds himself the victim of an arc of blue energy wrapping around his neck, lifting him off the ground strangling him. The others in his 'crew' begin to flee, but blue fire erupts all around them, entrapping them.

The creature grins and begins to cackle darkly, as her fist tightens gradually, causing the ringleader to slowly asphyxiate.

Kail blinks several times as he was about to talk to the woman with the mask. But she vanishes right before his eyes and knew some bad crap was going to happen. It grew to a greater degree and then hears the scream and the demonic voice. The redhead turns to see what happens and sees a Covenant monster in front of him draining the life of the thug. A normal person would say SOL for the thug and run like hell.

But Kail was not like that and he looks around and spies with his eyes a piece of rebar nearby that was the size of a sword. He quickly picks it up and throws his drink to the ground. Turning to the youma he takes a deep breath and calms his mind. Then charges at the woman and brings the rebar over his head. "CHESTO" with a warcry and brings the rebar down on the youma's head with as much devastating force as he could.

This failed it would get the creature's attention and off of the guy she was going to drain. He did not think of what would happen to him after this. But he could not standby while someone was going to kill a person.

Before she knew what was happening she was imploding on herself….when she came to she was disoriented and highly confused….that was a very odd sensation which caused her to visibly shiver. That was …she couldn't tell what that was. She looked over to her side…..speak of the devil and he shall appear.

”Hello stalker-san….so glad I could be an experiment.”

She looked over the edge of the building…and blinked…wow her luck sucked lately, two youma in one week. She frowned she knew stalker-san told her that they’d be more frequent but it was one hand to hear it and another to actually see it.

”….and the agency thinks I’m the crazy one…I think she beat me...I’m slightly insulted by that.”

Valdis leaned over the side of the building she was directly above her crazy ass manager, she cleared her throat and a large wet glob of spit went streaming down. Valdis pulled her head back to the building out of site and walked over to stalker-san. A large mischievous grin on her face.

”Did I get her?...It…do those things have a gender….”

An abandoned, rusted piece of construction material does not an effective weapon make.

The improvised weapon bends and then snaps into two pieces upon striking, paying a compliment to Killian's physical strength. The youma, meanwhile turns her head toward Killian and narrows her eyes. Energy begins to surround Kail's body and he becomes suspended off the ground by raw psionic power.

"...Begone gnat." she says, flinging Killian across the snow covered alley into a trashcan, the one a certain white cat was hiding behind..

Then she feels something fall on her...she assumes it's just a bit of snow in a bigger chunk of saliva, and then moves on as she begins to toy with her 'prey', flinging the thug around by the force of her mind.


Meanwhile the masked man shrugs about the question of gender.

"...They tend to favor women, but men exist as well. Some of them used to be human, but willingly drowned themselves in chaos energy...becoming like that. She happens to be one of those." he says, watching what will happen with interest.

Artemis cringed and was silently watching the entire scene fold out. The purple haired girl disappearing from some sort of magic bothered Artemis, but the 'manager' turned into a youma! A vicious one that had influence over psionics. This was bad...youma this powerful were often the handmaidens of Beryl...have they gotten stronger since Artemis disappeared from the world?

However the thoughts were put to a quick stop as the red haired young man goes flying through the trash can. Artemis dives, ducks, and covers, his paws over his head, and when the initial landing and reaction play out, he scampers over to where Killian was and jumps on him.

"Hey, you, yeah I'm a talking cat, get over it, but listen...those people are dead unless you do something about it...there is something sleeping within you that you can call on to help you...[/color] Artemis says, as his crescent glows for a moment, as a red sparkle and flash manifests in front of Killian, forming an object, landing on his hand with a symbol of Mars engraved in it.

"...If you were a woman, you would say "Mars Power Make-Up" but I'm not sure how this works for men...this is new to me." the cat says, then giving Kllian some space. Hopefully, something would click in him to make this work...

In Killian's mind, the words 'Mars Knight Power' resound...making it obvious what he must do.

Kail had blinked several times as the rebar was a thick and heavy object. And under normal situations would have knocked anyone out. But it was a inhuman creature and had super natural powers and strength. "Ugh........my head" he said and was trying to come around and sees a cat staring at him. The start speaking at him and drop him a odd item. The redhead was first thinking that he hit his head too hard.

But too much had happened already "Why do I have a feeling that this is going to turn my life into a Kamen Rider tv show" he sighed and started to get up. Then a voice of something in his head rung and grasped the item. "Well here we go....MARS ARMOR UP" he called out. Then a massive blast of power surges from him as red flames engulf Kail. The fire slowly recedes to show Kail in a new form a battle suit of some type.

"Well....time to do this" said Kail and drew his sword from his sheath. He then rushes in again and brings his sword over his head. And another ring in his mind goes off "FLARING CINDER" roared swinging down his blade unleashing a blazing blade like projectile from mid range. Intending to hit the thing from the side. He was going to make sure this thing died soon.

The sudden attack by the newly awakened Mars Knight caught the arrogant and unstable youma off guard, as fiery blade meets flesh. She lets loose an inhuman, rage induced roar as her concentration breaks on the thug that she was asphyxiating. The thug turns tail and begins to run off, making his way away, choking and coughing. A couple of staggers later, and the thug would be out of the immediate fray.

The youma then glares at Killian, clenching her side where blue blood was oozing out onto the snow, melting it upon contact. Between the fiery knight and the youma, the snow was quickly clearing, making a patch of bare concrete and dirt manifest beneath her.

"...What the hell are you!? Is this some new military dogs ploy! I've killed hundreds of your kind! No pyrotechnics will save you..." she growls out, leaping back as she begins to rapidly accumulate spheres of psionic energy in her hands. Violent, pulsating spheres of blue energy bathed in blue fire fly at Killian's current position and at everywhere within five feet of him. The creature was going for an overwhelming assault to eliminate this threat.
