From her foot to her chest, then off her thigh and on top of her head. Alone in the park, Yuki could be found dribbling a soccer ball, keeping it airborne without using her arms or hands. She had changed out of her school uniform and was now dressed in jeans and a warm red winter jacket. She also wore thick black winter boots and a black wool hat as well, though the cold didn't appear to bother the girl at the moment. Rhythmically and effortlessly, she kept the ball moving, her mind in an almost meditative state, empty and clear.
It might seem strange to some that a young school girl would come all the way out here just to play by herself, but Yuki had always felt a strange calmness whenever she came to this place and often came here whenever she felt worried. Two days ago there was the attack on the military base. It wasn’t the one her brother was posted at but still it could have been. Not to mention she hadn’t even been able to contact him since the event either. Not only that, but there had been odd reports about something strange happening yesterday in a park located right in the Juuban district.
It wasn’t that Yuki was scared. She knew her brother was strong enough to take care of himself…but something was happening. Something was changing.
It bothered Yuki sometimes. That amidst all the chaos the world was in right now, all she was interested in was playing sports and becoming a pro and that maybe she should think of pursuing something more productive.
It was this doubt in her dream that really scared her. A few years back when her brother left to join the military, she vowed that she would not let these obelisks take her dream away from her. I won’t let them take my dream from me. Or my brother either. Yuki thought. Her sudden lapse in concentration caused her to lose control of the ball and it rolled gently onto the snow covered grass.
Sighing she walked over to it, ready to start over again.

"Saaa....playing out in a more remote area when there are creepers and bombers about?" a figure says from a tree nearby. Laying on a tree branch, a figure in a robe lays in a tree nearby, a black tattered robe. His arms behind his head at the trunk, a faceless mask hides any and everything that would give indication as to who he is, if he was anyone at all. The slight glint of dark metal can be seen where the robe gives way, showing medieval looking armor around the hands and feet.
His disposition seemed calm, and the tone of his voice had a sarcastic edge, but no hostility. Despite his intimidating or creepy appearance, he at least had no ill intents at this time. Along his shoulder ,a small creature sat, a ferret, curled up against the robe lazily looking about. The figure's masked face turns toward Yuki, tilting slightly.
"Soccer? An honored sport that tests dexterity, coordination, stamina...also known for occasional bouts of violence, but that's just human nature, no? What makes you train so dilligently? What drives you?" the figure says, the voice muffled slightly behind the mask but audible unless Yuki consciously chose to ignore it.

No sooner had she started up again when a sudden voice startled Yuki, causing her to drop the ball again. She let it roll away a few feet, choosing instead to turn around and face an odd masked person lying in a tree.
”I’m not scared.”
Without thinking Yuki replied almost immediately. It was true though. Not only was she strong physically due to being an athlete, but she knew some basic self-defense as well. She stared at the strange man, not really worried but cautious. The mask was an odd fashion statement…maybe he really was a creeper, but then again she was pretty sure creepers didn't announce their intentions. The ferret was interesting as well, but Yuki decided not to ask. When he asked her reason for playing soccer, Yuki gave the figure a somewhat perplexed stare, as if the other person had just asked something incredibly obvious.
”Because it’s fun,” she answered simply as she turned back to retrieve her ball. ”Being active and playing sports makes me feel alive. And it just so happens that I find soccer particularly fun, plus it brings back pleasant memories.” She started juggling again but continued to speak, ”Don’t all people like to try and do the things they love for as long as they can? It’s not rocket science.
”Who are you anyway? Don’t take this the wrong way but I feel like you’re one of those types of people I’m supposed to report or something,” Yuki spoke, her eyes still focused on the ball.

"Enjoy it while it lasts, haha" he says with genuine amusement to the comment about being scared. This one would know her own horrors soon enough. "I am afraid that your life quite possibly may change substantially soon, but you are more than likely strong enough to handle it." he says, alluding to something that may very well be forthcoming...or just a vague idea of anything that can happen to anyone, you know, like how horoscopes are so vague that the subjective mind can draw what they want to make them believe they are true.
"Fun hm...you know, such an idea isn't really known to me. Even if I have all the time in the world, I don't get the same sensation that most people do. I guess my job just sucks all the fun out of life. Saaa..." he says, as one metal covered, clawed, fingertip comes to caress the ferret for a moment.
"Would you be willing to sacrifice your 'fun' if it meant that you could make a difference in the lives of others? Or would you try to cling to both your fun and your chance to make a difference? Or...would you neglect this opportunity in favor of your fun?" he muses, then exhaling a laugh and then stopping.
"I apologize, I do tend to over analyze human nature, I suppose you could say that is a hobby of mine. You can never easily predict what people will do, no? he says, then shrugging at her comment about reporting him. If only she knew...
"You could, I'll be gone long before the boys in green get here. As for who I am? I don't have an identity...at least not one that I can elaborate upon right now." he says with a vagueness that results in a roll of the shoulders.

Yuki didn’t really think she should put any faith in this stranger’s vague fortune telling, but his words made her think of getting into the sport’s program and getting the chance to play at a higher level. She wasn’t really sure what to say about that however and let the comment pass. When he mentioned not knowing what fun was, Yuki couldn’t help but glance over at the figure with an amused look, quickly, before turning her attention back to the soccer ball which was still being bounced in the air. She had almost lost the ball that time but quickly regained control of it. The man’s next question made her think for a moment.
”Hmm….how should I put this…” she considered. ”I have the freedom to do what I want to do. If there was something that tried to take away that freedom, my ‘fun’ in this case, for me or for anyone,” at this point Yuki had kicked the ball up into the air with her foot and as it came back down she caught it with her hands before tucking it under her right arm and turning to point at the man with her left.
”I’d fight it. But to sacrifice my freedom and who I am….I won’t ever do that, because doing that means I’ve lost.” It seemed Yuki was quite simple when it came to such matters, but at the same time her simplicity sometimes caused her to see and understand things much more clearly than others. After her brief serious moment, she put her arm down and formed a silly grin on her face.
”And I don’t plan on ever losing.”
For some reason talking to this strange, somewhat creepy man had lifted her spirits.
When he didn't really say who he way Yuki responded, ”Yeah, that probably means I should. You sound really suspicious,” Despite her words, Yuki’s tone sounded somewhat uncaring. She believed the man when he said he could disappear before authorities got here anyway, so why bother. Pulling out her phone from her coat pocket, Yuki checked the time.
”Crap…gonna be late for dinner. It’s was nice chatting with you, uh whoever you are. I really hope you’re not a serial killer or anything.” She glanced back at the odd figure before running off, headed towards the train station.

At the train station, a figure in a black trenchcoat was lurking under a streetlamp with a newspaper in hand. Flipping through the pages boredly, he exhales a sigh as he looks up when Yuki inevitably arrives. Now that was a special one...orders were to neutralize the ones with a unique energy to them. The boss would certainly reward him for taking this one out...but he had to act now.
Folding up the newspaper, the trenchcoat man makes his way to a control panel around the train station, the fusebox was in plain sight, a flaw of older architecture. Touching the panel, his hand glows as he begins to short out the entire station, causing a large scale power loss.
Meanwhile...
The station goes black, and the operators begin to shout that the station would experience delays currently due to the outage, but expected things to be up online again. The crowds begin to grumble at their bad luck, cursing whatever it was that brought them to this point.

Yuki ran all the way to the station, her soccer ball still tucked under her arm. She checked again at the time, believing that she would be able to make it back without being late when all of a sudden the power shut down.
Aw you’ve got to be kidding me!” She groaned along with most of the other people in the station. Trying to look on the bright side of things, she hoped maybe this would be a good enough excuse for being late as long as her parents didn’t ask why she had taken the train out to this district in the first place. Yuki could try and give the excuse that she was visiting the shrine…but there was no way anyone would buy that excuse from her.
Using her phone, she decided to text her brother Setsu.
Trains are delayed. Tell Mom and Dad I’m going to be late for dinner.
Knowing him, he'd probably check the schedule himself to see if she was lying.

In the dark, sparks begin to manifest along the ceiling, Blue bolts of electricity light up the area erratically, until something begins to appear from the ceiling, a creature made of electricity, a thing, humanoid with no clothing or marking to speak of, except yellow dots to indicate where eyes would be. The simple appearing but very threatening looking creature reaches a clawed hand toward Yuki, as three bolts begin to manifest, launch at her from fifty feet away...

In the split second before the bolts could close the gap, a quick blur appears in front of her, holding a clawed hand out as the sparks of electricity throb into the interceptor, the figure barely budging. Yuki may recognize the figure from the tree earlier, as he stands, staring down the creature whom was peeking out of the ceiling.
"Now that's not fair...attacking you before you can fight back...how rude." he says, then lifting his other hand and snapping his fingers.
"It's time to get the spectators out of here....I estimate it'll take fifteen minutes for the military to arrive from somebody's frantic cell phone dialing...so there is about ten to wrap this little bugger up. How the military could handle an electric type Covenant member...now that's a dilemma." he says, then snapping his fingers again, as a green aura and haze fills the room...invading the minds of the civilians and innocents nearby.
"Fear..." he states calmly, and in the next few seconds, panicked shrieks would fill the room as the others in the area began to run out of the train station as quickly as possible. The figure's faceless mask turns to Yuki, then glares at the east exit, where the ferret from earlier was standing in front of the empty doorway.
"Follow the Ferret, it will lead you to safety and your chance to get even. Do anything else, and it may end badly for you...just a friendly suggestion." he says, then turning and looking at the Covenant creature, engaged in a stare down with it. The creature began to charge up an attack, as the figure patiently waited for Yuki's departure.

As she put her phone away, a spark out of the corner of her eye caught Yuki’s attention. She then turned and looked up just in time to see three bolts of lightning headed straight towards her, and a blur of a figure moving in front of her. It all happened so fast, Yuki couldn’t even process what was happening. She stared wide-eyed at the scene in front, not moving an inch, as if she were rooted to her spot unable to move.
She was aware of people running and screaming, but it was almost as though Yuki was detached with what was going on around her, and instead she was focused only on what was happening in front of her. She stared at the menacing electric creature….had that man said it was a Covenant? At this point Yuki seemed to recall that this was the same man she had met in the park. When he turned towards her, Yuki managed to snap out of it.
”W-who are you? What’s going on?!” Follow the ferret? What the hell did that mean anyway?
Looking over to where the masked figure indicated, Yuki spotted the fury creature. She looked back over the where the electric creature and the strange man were, her heart pounding madly in her chest. There was no time to think or figure out what was going on…the creature was going to attack again.
Yuki had never liked the idea of running away but it was the only thing she could do. In a mad dash, she sprinted over towards the east exit as fast as she could. She suddenly realized that she must have dropped her soccer ball when the creature attacked, but there was no time for that now.

"...Yes I understand this is out of the way, but I feel a strong dark presence here, there is more than likely a youma here..." the black cat says to her companion, walking towards the train station. Regardless of the panic ahead, there was a distinct calm about the cat, as if this was a normal occurrence for her. As Yuki inevitably stars to get close, she shuts up abruptly. There was something about her too..

Upon hearing that there would be a youma here the boy scoops up the cat and asks.
“Are you sure it’s this way?” Asks the young man as he leaps down the stairs into the subway station. However, since due to the darkness he miscalculates and his foot catches on the final step bowling him over. “Ouch, who the hell turned off the lights in the station?” he complains as he gets to his feet rubbing his back.
“Luna had found Kousuke directly after basketball practice and told him that she he needed to come to this station with her. He had gotten some odd look running down the street with the cat. “Well this is a perfect opportunity.” He says and then holds up his arm. “Earth Knight Power!” He calls and his hoody, pants and mask appear hiding his identity and increasing his physical capabilities significantly.
“Alright where is it? And are there any civilians here?” he asks.

Yuki wasn’t sure why she was running after the fur ball that looked to be some cross between a weasel and a mouse, but she was. At least she was running seemingly away from the danger…not that she had a clue what was going on. She reached the newly arrived pair, right after Kousuke transformed.
Yuki stopped in front of the now second masked man with a pet, somewhat wondering if somebody was trying to pull an elaborate prank on her.
”Look, I have no idea what’s going on, but if you’re looking for your friend he’s that way,” she pointed in the direction she had just come from. ”He’s fighting some scary electric monster thing though.”
Yuki sunk to her knees, her brain finally managing to catch up on what exactly just happened.
”Holy sh** that thing almost killed me.” The realization of this fact left her understandably shaken.

Kousuke’s eyes widen a bit when he sees Yuki. “Takamora? What are you-?”
Realizing that he was already transformed Kousuke stops himself from saying more and looks down the hall. “Well this as a whole is quite odd.” He murmers to himself. Not that I would know normal, I’ve been doing this for less than a day. Stupid cat, why is it getting me involved.
However, before going to help the person she mentioned Kousuke reaches down and takes Yuki by the upper arm. “Come on, you’ve got to stand up, if you stay down here you’ll be in danger.” He says as he pulls her to her feet.
“Well what are we going to do?” He asks as he looks down at Luna.
