These days, the Covenant attacks were growing in blatancy and obviousness. It is a sign that the intent to conceal their actions in the public was vanishing rapidly. It is surprising a swarm of youma haven't outright attacked at this point. This was the prime shopping time, when thousands were scrambling about Shinjuku on their post-work and post-school business. Some shopped for luxuries, others shopped for basic needs. More still went to the abundant cafes and restaurants in the area to enjoy the treats and ambiances within.

At the peak of activity, in the center of an intersection, an unnatural swirl of snow, ice, and dust manifests into a feminine creature. It's form was seven feet high, lithe and amazonian. Heavy, crystal armor adorned it's body tightly as the black and blue shards wove together like a mesh to allow for powerful protection and ease of movement. The long sky blue hair reaches down to the creature's ankles, and pupil-less eyes glow unnaturally white as she looks at her surroundings.

Without a speech or a gesture, she raises her clawed hand as an ice-storm begins to erupt. One might wonder if she was related to the powerful youma that manifested at the theater. Naturally people begin to run and police begin to open fire upon it, both are rapidly weakened and rendered unconscious as the ice and snow contact them and sap their biological energy bit by bit.

A large amount of energy was beginning to amass as people began to fall where they stood in the snow. One vehicle crashes into a streetlight from an unconscious driver and another raises a phone to try to dial for help but to no avail as both man and electronic descend into the snow bank.

Hundreds and rapidly more were coming to risk, as the youma stood defiantly in the open drawing all the energy she could from the populace. Subtlety was overrated.

A bull of wind charges down from the building aiming straight towards the woman. A man in black leather armor and a green long coat steps out of a nearby building. His mouth was turned down at the corners making a frown that seemed to be permanently plastered there. Over his shoulders sat a long spear with a black haft not made of any material those in this era would be familiar with. As he steps out in front of the youma he says.

"You have stepped into my territory and broken the rules. You have three choices flee, die or swear allegiance and protect this area." The man says, Lance raises the spear before himself and his symbol that declared him marked by Taurus visible.


His pale brown eyes seemed to look right past, or perhaps into the woman. With a sweep of his spear he moves the civilians and police away from the youma and steps up to her. "Shinjuku is a neutral zone you'd better have a damn good reason for coming here and starting trouble." He says as a barrier of force is created, keeping the people separated from Lance and the youma.

A spoon hung out of Nobu's mouth, as he quietly watched the scene unfold from the corner of his eye. Nobu couldn't help but stare. This wasn't something that normally happened, not even in the slightest. Nobu could only stare in awe, eating his ice cream as the giant ice monster approached. He questioned his own sanity at the sight; wondering if something funky was put in his delicious treat. He found himself thinking that someone should really stop that thing, assuming it were even real. It was probably best not to alarm anyone that he was so drastically intoxicated.

The scene unfolding before him was starting to become alarmingly unavoidable, though. His seat happened to be half way between this monster, and some spear-wielding superhero. He needed to say something, but he didn't want to look like a madman.

"Kon'nichiwa, stranger!" He greeted the mysterious pike-man with a smile and a friendly wave. He tried his best to ignore the terrible monster. Wintry winds blew flecks of snow onto his hair, but his focus remained resolute. With a careless yawn, Nobu covered his mouth, before very casually asking, "Is it just me, or did the weather turn a bit chilly?"

Hopefully the man he saw was actually there; and the police and all that was simply part of his delusion. Nobu hadn't taken a single narcotic in his life. He wasn't sure what to be expect from drugs; but, he'd never of imagined a scenario quite as vivid as this.

The woman hops vertically to allow the bull to charge below, the spiritual beast crashing into a car shoving it a few feet before the energy fades away. It scowls at Lance, staring at him without her moves obvious. The crest of Taurus on his body was obvious, but his words were unusual, and he seemed to be standing in the way of the goals of the Covenant.

"I am a maiden of Aquarius, young calf. My orders are to harvest a large amount of energy for Lady Virgo, and I shall not be halted by a whelp like you. Your...territory...has no meaning to me or the Covenant. If you try to interfere, I will not hesitate to kill you, even if you belong to Taurus." she says, declaring her obvious, hostile intent with a firmness that Lance should take seriously. Even if she was a youma, she was a strong one.

The woman shifts her glance at Nobu, noticing that he had a particularly powerful energy for a human. Naturally, the creature couldn't resist. Her hand stretches out toward him as she focuses her energy siphoning efforts specifically on him as a small storm of snow and wind begins to focus on him, slightly weakening the overall storm. It was a small act of hubris to blatantly stand against the calf, but she would not be pressured by a lesser being.

Nobu would feel slowly sapped of his energy and gradually become weaker unless he found a way out of the storm.

As Lance hears the youma speak he sends a mental note to Taurus Aquarius is ignoring the bounds of my territory, I'm gonna kill this youma, but we're going to need to address this later. Though he stops for a sec as the new kid greets him and he holds up a hand. "If you're still up you're probably somewhat supernatural, so first things first DO NOT TELL ME YOUR NAME." He says and then turns back to the youma.

"If my territory has no relevance to the covenant that's kinda awkward since they're the ones who gave it too me." He grumbles, well it didn't really matter it was time to enforce his territory. "Coat of Fire." He says as a coat of flame manifests around him just as it had around the powerful youma in the shrine. Though when she threatens to kill him he smirks. "You don't know much about Taurus huh? If I was weak enough to die by your hands then it would be good riddance." His smirk turns to an almost bestial smile.

And when the youma extends her hand towards the new kid Lance's spear comes down to try and cut it off with a snickersnack. If she jumps away he will step in and use the spear to attempt to slash her before her balance recovers.

As if seeing things were embarrassing enough, poor Nobu now felt very cold and sick. What was that guy going on about? Supernatural? Don't introduce? Nobu couldn't follow that. He could feel the 'drugs' taking a toll on him. He chose to sit, and wait it out. Surely, it was only a matter of time before he overcame and felt better; but passing out in public wasn't an option. If he passed out, someone might hurt him, or kidnap him, or steal his wallet; not to mention that his hallucinations were making him uneasy in whole.

Strangely enough, Nobu managed to preserve himself in a way that the Youma likely weren't expecting. He refused to panic. What energy he had left wasn't spent in horrified fleeing; he managed to endure by remaining calm. Had he any true grasp of the situation, It wasn't a strategy that was particularly wise. Although, it did manage to help him survive long enough for the Super-Spearman to make his move. Nobu sighed with relief as he could almost feel the drain of his body lifting with the monster's distraction. Perhaps this was all some hallucinogenic  metaphor for his immune system triumphing slightly, but he couldn't help but feel like something more was actually happening,

"Y-Yeah... you... you get'm, Spear-san," he muttered under his breath, his silence was part in exhaustion, and part in fear of others hearing him speak of such delusional things. Surely he felt so sleepy because he was having a dream..? Of course, why else would he see such outlandish things? He must be dreaming!

….Oh no this didn’t look good; her fur stood on end as the weather suddenly took a turn for worse. A strong dark energy being at the center of it. Luna poked her head around the corner to see the scene unfolding with whom she remembered had been the Eris knight who had turned against them….yet he was fighting against someone who supposedly was supposed to be on his team… odd. However there was another she did not recognize…but the energy that came off of this one was that of an unawaken knight!
Her bright cat eyes gaze shifted towards the monster in question; it seemed Eris had it sufficiently distracted. Quickly but silently Luna belly crawled over to the un awoken knight, hoping to remain unnoticed.

”You there! It’s your duty to help these citizens; yes yes get over the talking cat part and listen carefully for what I am about to tell you there is not much time to do so! You are an unawaken mercury knight and Eris needs your help! Take this”

She jumped up flipped and magical sparkles came out of what seemed like her ass, and poof there appeared an item in which the mercury knight could use to transform.

”Take this and say the first thing that comes to mind!”

A thick layer of ice forms over the direction of where Lance's spear approaches, catching the blade in five inches of ice that had formed like thick armor on the top of the youma's hand. She glares at Lance, before looking back at the boy unamused. She stomp the ground in his direction as chaos magic surges below. A small rumbling gives a sign before spikes of ice begin to shoot up in a line at both Lance and the other boy. The spikes would launch up about two feet from the ground at jagged angles.

"For one of Taurus' followers, and members of the Covenant you don't seem very committed to the cause. Final reckoning is nigh, and you would hinder our victory." she says as she watches Lance carefully, not fully having classified him as a threat that must be killed yet. Killing another Zodiac's mark recipient is never a pleasant thing to deal with.

The fire of the coat begins to surround Lance's spear and soften the ice. As it does the spear also begins to buzz with vibration and chippiing its way through the arm guard. Though as the woman uses her Chaos magic to cause the ice to shoot up towards himself and the boy who was spectating Lance moved with a speed that could not possibly have been his and closes in point blank with the ice youma his coat of flames increasing in intensity.

"Howl, Utayyari." He says and suddenly a disorienting and physically painful roar that sounds like it was from Oni's throat is released from the blade of the spear. The Eris knight also strikes with his flaming boot trying to knock the ice youma off balance. His eyes were intent and focused on defeating his enemy, his face taking on an expression of intense concentration. "I do not buy into your gospel I work for the Covenant because they hired me and agreed to a contract. You are currently in violation of that contact."

"Time to die." The wind bull again appears charging at the youma from point blank range.

"Hello, little kitty. What are you doing out here? Where did you get this? This is my  Bachi, not yours~! You can't play the drums, silly cat; you don't even have thumbs!" Nobu seemed to be speaking to the cat as if it was any regular old cat, seemingly ignoring the fact that it was talking to him outright. He picked up the drumstick it handed him, as he stood up and tenderly wrapped his arms around the fluffy kitty. He casually strolled off. The bench behind him erupted into splinters as he accidentally avoided being impaled.

He placed the kitty cat back down on the street, only mere feet from what was once his seat. "I hope you're not far from home, little kitty; you're lucky I'm handling you so gently." He knelt down and pet the likely frustrated cat from its head to its tail. "It's not safe with me, you see; I've been spiked with a lot of drugs. I'm seeing monsters, and I think you can talk. You should scamper off before I accidentally hurt you, ne? Good kitty~!"

It was probably clear that the boy was more content living in a delusion, than he was accepting an abnormal reality. Nobu wasn't the right kind of person to be a guardian of the universe; of only someone with a different frame of mind could take his place. Perhaps then, such a person would stand a better chance at evaluating a genuine threat.

Sophia was trying to make her new home feel like home. However, no matter how much she tried to reorganize her things to resemble her old room, she was still reminded that she wouldn’t be headed back to her old house anytime soon. She wouldn’t see her family for god knows how long. Eventually, she resigned herself that she couldn’t recreate her old room, so she might as well try to make it entirely different.

She walks around Shinjuku, trying to find someway to make the new place look nicer. Make it a place that she can live indefinitely. She considers buying a new rug to pull the living space together. However, as she gets to an intersection, she sees a kind of bizarre site. Not the part with Lance fighting a youma. The part where the knight seemed to be ignoring the battle as well as Luna. She tilts her head looking at the knight with his new henshin item, attempt to shoo away Luna. She pulls out her own henshin and runs over to the unknown knight.

“I know this is strange, but you need to actually do what the cat says. I will explain absolutely everything to you afterwards.” She shows the boy her henshin pen. “See, this is a henshin item. I take it and say ‘VENUS POWER, MAKE UP!’” With those words, she transforms. “And poof. Magical girl. Right now, I need you to do the same thing. Except you say ‘some planet, armor up’ or ‘some planet knight power’. I don’t know which planet, but the first one that enters your head.” She keeps casting nervous looks at Lance, making sure he is holding up ok in that fight. If she can sort this business out with the unknown knight, then they’d be joining him soon enough.

”I thought we were over this whole ice thing after it didn’t work the first time”

The voice came before the body even showed up; there was a shimmer of a shadow before a slender woman appeared on the side lines. Her eyes burned with a maroon glow that seemed to hold a deep power behind them. Long white hair cascaded down from a tall pony tail which ended a little past her thighs. Her skin was pale, a stark contrast to the vivid purple stripes that stained her face and wrists. She was dressed in a long black coat the rippled in the wind; her hands were tucked away into her pockets; and she wore black pants and boots beneath the long jacket. She clucked her tongue at the situation and shook her head in disappointment.

”Really this won’t do at all…but go on I’m curious to see where this pans out”

Her eyes slid over to the cat; a newbie, and Sophia. Her lips sliding into a dark smile as she chuckled just at the whole situation. Lance had found himself in a pickle; as he was defending an enemy of the covenant in front of one of the minions. She leaned back against a building; her eyes watching the battle. She had been originally on her way out to seek Aquarius anyways, but happen to sense her minion and lance and decided this would be a good show. Her eyes slid over to the youma.

”For the record I would like to mention this is a complete waste of resources and your lack of subtlety disgust me. When we take over this territory and people will be ours to contend with; even farmers know to take care of their cattle and not go spooking them”

Valdis stood up and sauntered over to the newbie, her lips parted in a smile. Her hips swayed as she walked up and traced her finger along his jaw line; her face stopping a few inches away from his.

”What’s your name cutie”

Her voice came out as a seductive purr.

Her fur puffed out; this knight was off his rocker!! Well then again this was a strange situation…and she was a talking cat. Her eyes bugged out when she was suddenly picked up and he started going on about drugs or something. Thankfully Sophia showed up; and gave a bit more instruction…..however. Her eyes widened to saucers as a new presence showed up. She hissed as the woman came closer; full Halloween cat posed.

”ZODIAC!!”

Luna hissed again; however took a few steps back. She knew there was a reason why she never liked this woman. She looked up at the man.

”Whatever you do Knight do not tell her your name!”

The feminine youma is forced to consider Eris Knight an immediate threat when he goes to attack fully. While she had hoped to run him off with the block and ice spikes, it was clear that Taurus' calf wasn't about to back down. The shield of ice was rapidly made useless between the sonic waves and heat, and thus the chunk of ice is discarded in favor of agility.

The youma leans back to avoid getting hit by the spear thrust to the throat but is knocked off her balance by the foot sweep and her left leg is burned and put into pain. She is forced to somersault backwards which Eris knight may be able to take advantage of for a few brief seconds.

After she is able to recover from her assault, and follow up attack from Eris, she leaps to a second story balcony. A covenant presence startles her, but then a senshi appears. The covenant knight would have to make a choice, while the youma's sign of Aquarius begins to glow on her forehead.

She begins to form bursts of snow and ice, launching them at both Eris and Venus as fast as she can accumulate them, which is a second of charging time for a burst of frost energy with spikes of ice that serve as shrapnel upon detonation. Within the first few seconds, two are shot at Eris Knight, and one at Venus.

As the youma summersaults back Lance advances, closing the distance almost instantly and attacks with and throws a flaming elbow at the youma's chest. He begins to move to finish her off, but Valdis's presence distracts him and he frowns as she says 'when we take over this territory'. "Valdis, this is MY territory I'll remind you, and you know the rules, you were there when I established them." He says not paying more head than that. If the kid was dumb enough to give him name then he could deal with the consequences, it was not Lance's problem.

However when his attention returns to his snowy dance partner he frowns as she begins throwing spikes of ices at him and Sophia. His first instinct is to help the girl, but instead he finds himself choosing to pursue the fight as he uses his unnatural speed to avoid the energy and the coat of fire to help with any shrapnel that might get close.

"You won't win this fight, leave or die." He says calmly as he finishes closing the the base of the building and then takes a great leap onto it. If the youma launched a frost ball at him as he began to close through the air he would use a blast of force to dodge the attack and then finish closing on her.
