Inari walked into her home after Music class, she didn't call out that she was home since no one lived in the house but her. She went to her rather large fish tank that served to house her only pets and friends in the entire world now. Her fish seemed to greet her, swimming rapidly about as she put some food for them in the tank. "School was great today, thankfully the class was small." She said with a small smile. "Ahh, Kaoru, Kori, your both still so lovely today." She said, putting a finger on the class and moving it in a kind of petting motion, that the white and black angelfish seemed to respond to.

Inari moved away from her fish tank as she looked at the package she had set on the table opposite the tank. "Now then, I should open you and find out where you came from.." She said as she sat down and began to open the package slowly, a bit eager adn scared to discover the contents within.

Sophia arrives at the house of Inari Ikotsu. She feels bad for not giving the rundown of being a senshi immediately, but things got quite hectic. The tired girl has yet another cup of coffee in hand as she knocks on the door. She wants to apologize for the it being so late, but better late than never. Hopefully, the Neptune senshi would see it as such.

It was true that Inari felt.. Drained.. Staring at the wand in her hand as the knock came. "Huh? Now who could that be??" She wondered, not a lot of people came to her home save for few music lessons, but it was far too late for that. She stood and opened the door. "Oh, Ms. Torres, what are you doing here?" She asked curiously.

Sophia says, “Sorry to bother you so late in the evening. Normally, I explain the super powered thing on the spot, but that situation got hectic. I suppose I should start with I am Sailor Venus. You’ll be happy to know that the girl is getting the medical attention that she needs. I only wish I could do more for her.” She looks behind Inari Ikotsu, “Do you mind if I come in? It’s been a long day for me, and I'd like to sit down. And I owe you a long, detailed explanation on what you are now.”

Inari nodded. "I suppose so then." She said, her fish swimming around excitedl as a new person arrived. "Settle down, settle down, it's alright." She said in a calm tone as the fish settled. "I suppose I am Sailor Neptune, interesting that I did not halucinate that." She said as she led Sophia to the living room.

Sophia takes a seat, and for a moment, almost wishes she could just fall asleep there. More coffee. She takes a sip, and watches as Inari settles down the fish in her tank. “That’s really cool. Have you always been able to do that?” It seemed a power befitting of a Neptune senshi. Communicating with aquatic life.

Sophia laughs at the hallucination bit, “Yeah, that reaction is pretty standard. I certainly wasn’t sure if I was dreaming or not.”

“Anyways, Artemis, the white cat, told me who you were. So I figured I should stop by and explain a few things. You have a special connection to the planet Neptune, which grants you some magical powers. As far as I can tell, we are the first senshi in millennia. They belonged to a Kingdom of the Moon, serving it as protectors. The princess of that kingdom fell in love with a prince on Earth. The story that I have heard is that a sorceress grew jealous of their relationship, and turned the prince’s generals against him and the Moon Kingdom. Her Dark Kingdom waged its war, and managed to only be stopped after many lives were lost. The Queen upset by all this, had all her loved ones reincarnated in the future. The Covenant is supposedly the Dark Kingdom’s Take 2. And we are here to protect everyone. Sorry. That’s a lot to take in, I know.”

Inari shook her head. "I Don't think I can do this Sophia, I won't even be staying long." She said getting up and standing near her fish, it always calmed her so. "how can I fight for those I have no connection to?" She said aloud, mostly to herself, as if she was asking her fish.

"But in a way I've always ben able to do that, they seem to understand me, and I them."

Inari was probably the first person who said she wouldn’t fight. It made sense. No connection to anyone. The woman obviously lived her alone with only her fish for company. Everyone should have at least one other person that they cared about. It struck Sophia as sad, and a sympathetic expression becomes stuck on her face. “Well, I can’t force you to do something you don’t want to do. However, you and I are connected now. We are senshi, which isn’t something any of us have chosen. It’s a common experience that all of us share. To me, it’s like being family. All senshi and knights are my relatives.” She looks at the fish tank, watching all the fish swim happily, “If you will not join us for humanity, how about this world and all the creatures that reside it in? This eternal winter has destroyed much of their homes. All of the senshi and knights wish to see summer return.”

She shook her head. "they die like everything else in time.. it's not like anyone else really cares." She said a bit more coldly than before. "The point is Ms. Torres, I cannot fight with you or your friends, I just want to be left alone." She said flatly, looking at her. "You should go, he should be here soon." She said softly, as if that was the end of things.

It’s not like anyone else really cares… Death. Apathy. The world just keeps spinning no matter what. Sophia starts to look utterly depressed by the sentiment as if Inari said something that struck a chord. “No, I suppose a lot of people don’t care. I make it my business to care though. To care about every single life and death, no matter how painful it is to bare. However, I won’t lie. This world can be very uncaring. Very self-absorbed. Very distant. Very mocking. I just try to do my best regardless. Or be my best.” She sighs, “I wonder if love is loving without getting anything in return, any reciprocation.” It’s a thought more for herself than for Inari to answer.

Sophia stands up, “Will you be willing to take my phone number then? In case, you ever feel like you need it. I’ll also give you a few others that are dependable. I’m sure they’ll be willing to help you out if you ever need it.”

Inari shook her head and looked at her. "This world is cold and cruel, that's just how it is, but you keep doing what you do, no one can tell you otherwise if you think it's right." She said but sighed. "You may, I'll even give you mine if it will make you feel better."

“I suppose that is true,” Sophia says, smiling at Inari a bit. She wasn’t sure if it was an affirmation, but it was probably the closest thing Sophia would get to one. “And thank you. Just tell them that you are the Neptune senshi, and I gave you their number. Actually, Kail also teaches but for creative writing. So maybe you’ve met him before.” She starts walking to the door, “Have a good evening.”

Inari nodded. "Thank you for comming Sophia, you are welcome to come by if you need to." She said as she left, closing the door Inari put the numbers on her fridge as she went and settled in for a rest.
