The managerial youma smirks as it begins to form a larger burst of energy, deciding that it had the hubris to play games of cat and mouse with Eris Senshi. Even if she had some kind of power, a single guardian had no chance against HER. What happened next would take her off guard. Rosa decided to step out into plain sight and begin to sing. Of all things...how could she think this would be any good? At least throw a blast or something to make it interesting!

But as her influence begins to spread through the air, it begins to conflict with the darker energies of the dread influence. The sense of hopelessness begins to fade from the air, as the managerial youma irritatedly stops gathering power for her energy ball and begins to focus on trying to drown out Rosa's power. At this, she struggled, and the planetary energy begins to have adverse impacts to the chaos energies of the youma. Her form begins to falter and fade from energy being to a more humanized form of the youma that was roughly the physical size and attributes of the manager, but with blue glowing skin.

She begins to back up, confused at how her overcharged state was overwhelmed by this...song.

Eris could feel her influence growing stronger as it pushed back the darker influences. She continued until she felt that it was her influence and aurora that dominated the room as opposed to the youma, who now appeared much less fearsome and looked more like the human manager she was accustomed to seeing. The glowing blue skin was a new feature.

Ending the song, Sailor Eris looked almost too calm, analyzing the situation for a moment before giving a small smirk.

”It appears your previous energy has dissipated some. What a shame. I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised though. You are probably just as weak and useless as a covenant member as you are a manager. It’s pitiable really.”

Eris’ tone was laced with arrogance, but she planned every word and expression with care. She currently eyed her opponent with a look that suggested she had already dismissed the other completely.

The manager's brow twitches as she is provoked by Sailor Eris' words. She looks absolutely infuriated, but after a moment an artificial calm is imposed upon her features. Her lips curl into a small smile as she stares at the senshi.

"It doesn't matter." she declares as she takes a firm stance at the distance between the two. "If you kill me now, if you even can, then your 'huge performance' that means so much to Valdis goes down the toilet. Also if I die now, there would be awkward questions for Valdis to answer elsewhere." she says coyly.

"Even with this...power...you are powerless. You won't throw something that means a lot to Valdis away so callously, nor ruin either of your careers. You are far too practical for that." she says with a subtle, arrogant chuckle. She turns and starts to walk away.

"Good bye Rosa...be sure to show up for the show." she states, clearly believing Rosa wouldn't take matters into her own hands at this point.

Eris’ eyes narrowed in suspicion of the other’s words. She couldn’t figure out why the other kept bringing up Valdis’ name.

”Your presence is certainly not pivotal to the success of the concert. If anything it’ll go better without you getting in the way. There is certainly no way Valdis would be linked to this anyway, so what do you mean awkward questions? Explain yourself.” The Eris Senshi demanded.

Eris glared as the other began to walk away. Unfortunately she was caught. There was something the other knew that she did not, and if it was somehow linked to the concert and Valdis she could not risk acting without knowing more information.

”It’s Rosaline…” she muttered as she watched the other go. Rosaline or Eris, whoever the hell she was, was seething right now. She knew she needed to calm down and think about the situation logically, but that sorry excuse for a manager had threatened both Valdis and their music. She had always known the woman had been out for her own interests, but this was more than the Eris Senshi could stand.

’I will destroy her.’ Rosaline made a promise to herself.

Artemis had been watching the whole time from the (relative) safety of the corner nearby. The white mau's fur was on edge as the youma's words were enough to make Rosaline back down from continuing the fight. Even if she was a more support oriented senshi, surely she could finish her off!

But the cat decides not to push her right now, considering how reluctant that Rosalinda seemed about the entire affair. Going from normal operations to now a magical girl in a short skirt fighting the evil boss in the literal sense of the word was always a little jarring.

"...Uh...so...yeah the senshi thing. The short version is, you are one of a rare few who can fight evil on equal terms. The senshi group was able to defeat a truly evil figure a few weeks ago, they called Scorpio whom was responsible for a lot of bad things and saved many lives. It is only when the senshi band together and stand united is there a chance to break the grasp of the evil you call the Covenant from this world." the cat-like advisor says rubbing his head with his paw.

"But I assume you will have some specific questions...so fire away...not literally please." he says, rubbing his head slightly. When that knight appeared, he knew an 'Eris' senshi would also manifest, the cat felt slightly proud that the prediction came true.

Once her manager was gone, Sailor Eris relaxed and de-transformed back to her old self. She had been so caught up by the course of events and the manager’s words that she had nearly forgotten about the cat until it re-emerged. Turning to face it, Rosaline listened quietly, watching the talking creature intently. The information, that there were other senshi and they fought the Covenant, were facts she had already either knew or suspected. After he was done, Rosaline wasted no time, and asked very directly.

”Who do you work for? What are your objectives? You say you wish us to defeat the Covenant. To what aim?” Her voice was firm and highly suspicious. Rosaline refused to play the role of some pawn for somebody else’s plan. She was already angry enough, for potentially falling into one of the manager’s current schemes.

The pink-haired girl crossed her arms as she waited for a response, not letting the whole magical girl and talking cat thing phase her. Right now there wasn't time for any of that. Clearly she meant business.

A bubble of sweat went down Artemis' head at the concise barrage of questions that Rosa issued out. Each of these kids was different in how this chat went, apparently this one was a more no-nonsense personality. The white mau stared Rosalinda in the eye, expressing seriousness at the words to come.

"I work for the senshi, a group of people who also have similar abilities to you. There are others who can channel planetary energy and use it to oppose chaos energy, that which empowers the Covenant to wreak havoc upon the world and the innocent. If the Covenant isn't defeated, then this world will come to an end..." the white mau says, bowing his head.

"I ask you, senshi of Eris...please lend your strength."

Rosaline listened quietly to the cat. It told her there were others like her and that who it worked for. This answer didn’t particularly satisfy Rosaline, but she doubted she would get much more useful information out of the cat. That, and she was tired and just wanted to be done for the night. She had enough to think about as is.

”I decline your request. I have no interest in joining this group of yours.” After a moment’s pause, she added, "However…your actions did save my life tonight. I suppose I owe you one favor.” Rosaline made sure to add emphasis to the word one.

”But that’s it. I thank you for your assistance…whoever you are. Good night.” With that Rosaline began to walk away, planning to exit the building.
