"Well to be fair, Oni didn't want to deck you he wanted to tear you open and feast upon your entrails." Soma pointed out with a jovial smile, not caring in the least if that bothered her. Though when Valdis tells him what to tell Sophia Dad he quirks an eyebrow in amusement. "Valdis neither Lance nor I know Sophia's dad and we are not about to tell him something like that, I can either spirit her back to bed or let her stay here. I'm not really partial to either." He says as he watches the girl carefully.

"If the zodiac support us that will be convenient, but honestly I don't know if it will matter in the long run. The senshi and knights need to be able to achieve this and they will rise to the occasion, as they usually do. This is not the saddest group I have seen by any stretch of the imagination." He admits as he thinks about teams that had done much worse than this one.

Though as she starts talking about her future visions he smiles. "If your future visions can be offset then they are not visions of the future at all, but very accurate educated guesses. Don't worry about them too much. The future usually looks worse than it actually is, or when it doesn't being rash doesn't help." Though when she mentions she doesn't know his intentions he gives her a knowing and calm smile. "Don't worry about my intentions too much, for now just know I am on your side and I am carrying on the will of "my" senshi, the one who sacrificed soo much.

”…To be fair I rather a check point be made from here to there….If your unable to I will bring her myself.”

Valdis nodded, while she agreed it wasn’t the saddest group, and considering their age range they have performed exceptionally well. But as it stands they still needed as much help as they could get.

”Your giving off a good must always triumph mindset….The Senshi and Knights can indeed loose, all may be lost. It’s the ‘we have to win because we are good’ attitude that fosters the sit back and hope for the best attitude. Yes the others have been rising to the occasion, and I think the other night was a large eye opener for many in the group. But as it is now the bad guys have won….they have gotten this far. However like a good crop the ground needs to be turned and primed even before the seed is sewn. I do believe the Senshi and the others will persevere if given the chance to grow.”

There was a frowned set into her face, really she hadn’t taken Soma for the sit back and watch and trust in the group to persevere type. Ya it seemed he’d be there when it came time to fight but other then that he was just content to be another pair of hands when the moment called for it….Perhaps it was an error on her part to hope that he would continue to work on her meddling when she passed….But that was how things would stand there wasn’t really anyone else. So she would have to adopted his attitude for it as loathed as she was to do so…she didn’t have much choice in the matter…..and that grated on her nerves like no tomorrow.

Valdis sighed her fingers tapping along the arm rest of her chair, the other resting on her chin as she listened on. Her eyes held a dull glaze as he spoke on about her visions not really being visions…more educated guesses. There were so many alternate time lines and such each branching off of miniscule decisions…Her visions changed here and there, but they always ended in death. She had gone through many scenarios in her head…and unless if someone else did something to drastically upset the direction of where things were going then her vision would come to pass. However she listened to him claim that he was on her side….for now.

”I like to know the motivation of the people I am involved with. So forgive me for still wondering what your intentions are for they will always be questioned by me….and I do not know the will or story behind your senshi or any of the others really besides for the moon princess. Seeing how that’s not my area to really worry about considering I am not one of you. I just happened to be a random person of the street who got caught up in moon and earths awakening….”

Soma maintains the smile he had given Valdis. "Well if you've got any last requests let me know and I will take care of them. I acknowledge that the sacrifice it sounds like you are making deserves that much respect." He admits looking around the room.

"I am sorry, but I am not going to expound upon my goals that the moment. My current goal is to stop the covenant. If they win then I won't have time to complete my other objectives so that takes priority. Though if they lose the world ends and I get stuck waiting again, so I'd admittedly prefer they win." he explains, not really having much to gain by hiding this.

Though when she accuses him of having the good always triumphs mind set he shakes his head. "Good often wins because people are willing to make more sacrifices in the "name of what is right" than those who are seeking personal gain. But I certainly do not believe a truly passive approach is going to work." He admits, "Though I do not have enough information to take many larger risks at the moment, or I will risk loving what I already have set in place."

”None of my last requests can be taken care of by you, the mars knight has my last requests and I have given him responsibility to see to it they are carried out. ….actually I take that back….there is something you can do for me. If my body is still around after all of this…have lance, or oni, or what ever burn it…..burn it to ashes. I want nothing left of me for Libra to get his hands on….”

This was a serious request, not only for her but the safety of others as well.

”Frankly that’s true if anyone dies….I understand there’s the want to be buried, remains given to family…but unless Libra is taken down know that there is a large risk for any of our bodies to be lying around…just as a warning”

Valdis actually looked somewhat amused when he danced around what his objectives were. She leaned forward in her seat and waggled her eyebrows, her serious nature lifting for a moment to give way to her more goofy self.

”What if one of my last requests was for you to satisfy my curiosity? Would that work or will I die a curious cat with no satisfaction to bring me back”

Valdis actually almost looked sorry for him, if Sophia had heard that last bit he would have gotten a mouthful from her as well.

”That must be a boring existence….to have nothing or not wanting to love what you have…”

As Valdis asks Soma to make sure to destroy her body he nods. This was best for Lance or him to do anyways since it would most likely attract some enmity from the group. "I should be able to take care of that assuming I don't die at some point in the process." He was not going to make a promise beyond his power. Though a smile soon returns to his face. "I don't know how much the others will understand, or what they will say, but I think you deserve to hear this from someone at least."

Soma gets to his knees and with a graceful and practiced dogeza he bows and says. "Thank you very much for your sacrifices both so far and to come." After several long seconds he gets to his feet and looks out the window.

"No one your age should be forced to bear this kind of weight, but you have carried it with as much poise as any I have seen before." He tells her. Then as the more somber serious air settles on the room he turns to her and smiles in response to her curiosity.

"Well I suppose what you've done so far has earned you a bit of information so I'll tell you one of my goals and give you a hint." He says raising his pointer finger. "The first thing I want is a body of my own." He admits, a simple and straightforward request.

"You are right this existence is a bit boring, but as long as one has a goal it is a satisfying labor. I suppose the hint would be what would a solder who helped to separate the worlds in his time, only to become a youma himself after realizing that the cost was too high want?"

Valdis nodded a thanks.

”There is no ill will if you’re unable to do so; there is a chance that I may destroy it myself in the process…or my twinsie will….or Taurus. I think they both wouldn’t want me to end up one of Libra’s experiments.”

Valdis was taken aback when suddenly Soma was on his hands and knees bowing to her. Her eyes widen like a deer caught in the headlights. She opened her mouth to say something but found herself lost for words. She fidgeted in her seat….she had viewed something like this happening under completely different circumstances. But someone thanking her for something she wasn’t expecting to get praise from threw her for a slight loop. The fallowing seconds were probably the most awkward that she had to endure in a long time.

”…..Just for that, when I do die I will find a way to make it as awkward and unpoised as I possibly can….”

Answered in a true Valdis fashion.

”However it’s likely the others will act more rashly then Sophia….Sophia will try to see the good in everyone…as she just did. Others will hate and fear me going to the other side. Which is natural…I know all of their identities. I fully expect to be viewed and hated as a traitor, they will sooner spit on my grave then thank it. I am at peace with that, I do not need thanks…I will not have to endure the hardships of life as long as you will all have to or already have….Plus I have already called it upon Kail to rub their faces in it after for my personal satisfaction….I’m not that noble of a person. You can imagine me doing a braggy dance in the afterlife.”

She let out a slightly evil chuckle; whether she was sincere or not was hard to tell. When he let out some of his goals Valdis smiled. Wanting a body of his own was understandable….

”Wait so you’re not just some split personality disorder? …Well…Now I can see why you joined the covenant theirs a plethora of bodies lying around for experiments down in Libra’s end of things. Do you need a body body or would anything with the semblance of limbs do? I’m not too sure on how that all works….or how you would go about getting one. ….And if you do what happens to Lance…and Oni?”

When he gave her a hint Valdis thought for a bit…pondering what she would do in the situation while also cataloging the point that Soma had been around to split the worlds.

”Well one I would want to tell someone how that whole splitting process went, and two I suppose if I was in your place I would want to rid myself of the tainted part…To be free from the weight that it carries…..That or assuming by realizing the cost was to high it was botched I would want to fix whatever I botched up”

Soma laughs as Valdis seems to reply slightly awkwardly to his genuine thanks and he goes over her her and gives her a friendly hug. "Well I'm not going to try and poke at the dam of emotions and or anything and I don't thin that there is going to be any big revelation, but I will say that there is nothing wrong with backing out if you decide to. Keep that in mind." He didn't think Val was the type but if she was actually forcing herself he didn't want to add any extra pressure.

"Well if you bite it in an undignified way I'll be sure to tell the tale. Can't have your valiant sacrifice tainted by things like embellishment for dignity." he replies with a playful grin.

"Don't worry about the others hating you, I'm sure at least some will understand, and that Mars knight will probably be able to explain most of it. Besides I'm sure in the end Lance will play the bad guy on your behalf so you're certainly not alone." he says cheerfully as if enjoying the situation a bit. Well this whole thing was pretty dramatic and you only live once...or a couple dozen times.

"To be honest, not sure how to get a body of my own, if I knew I'd have done it by now." He admits, well if they beat the covenant he'd have time to figure it out. Maybe he'd kick Lance out of the drivers seat permanently somehow. "But either way, no, Lance and I are two distinct souls. Oni is the taint that both of us carry." He explains.

"As for the botching, you're close, but if time is a cycle and the time to seal the worlds apart again is coming then that also means the sacrifice that was made last time has returned. I've got no intention of letting it happen again."

”I do not back down from things I set out to accomplish….yes there are things I’ll regret not being able to see done. But frankly there are higher priorities then that.”

She chuckled when he said he’d make sure to tell all the details, all the more reason to die in the most awkward way. She rather go out with a laugh then with anything somber, making light of a serious matter was something she lived to do…why not go out dyeing that way. A smile grew on her face, really he thought she was bothered about being hated?

”I do not care if they hate me or not, the people whose opinions matter to me either know or are unconscious in that chair right now….The other person wont freaking care if I’m a youma or not. I really could care less if I’m hated or my image is tarnished. The main reason I want it to come out is if I’m labeled a traitor after death it will hurt my father’s image. I’m already not exactly presidential family material…it would ruin him if the fact his daughter became a Zodiac and tried to end the world came about.”

And there was the real reason Valdis wanted anything to be revealed. She always had kept up some appearance for her father. Her grades in school had always been high marks, and nothing that she did illegally was ever leaked. Besides being a bit odd, she was still a role model in the public eye when it mattered. But in the end Val did end up giving a sincerely thankful smile, she was relieved she was not in this alone.

”I do appreciate that I’m not in this alone…I actually have quite a bit of support on this side…Is it bad I’m getting attached to the cow and my twinsie…I like them…and apparently he does wear the necklace I gave him so the cow was right about me getting the most sentimental Zodiac…I even find myself liking the goat…..however that reminds me I need to track down Aquarius before this all goes down.”

When the topic of body hoping came up Valdis had a small idea….she held up a hand and ran off to her room. She came back shortly with a perfectly carved figure of lance, complete with miniature clothing. It was kinda creepy in the extreme detail of it. She handed it to him.

”What if I made a giant one of these....you could possess the doll? Dunno how well that would work out but hey good for practice.”

Valdis listen to hear that her guess was at least kinda close but it raised another question.

”What happened the last time?”
