Kail was silent as she talked and more guilt got at him as it struck him. He did not realize that these were painful to bring up. He then watches the scenes play out in front of him and had to chuckle at a few of them. But took Vals words to heart and sighed a bit "I know what your saying to me and I really do appreciate you doing this. I really do, I guess with everything its hard for me to cope. And that I should try treat things as if they could end tomorrow and not care and just enjoy life. I've...been trying to do things that have given me joy previously. I try and do them and I don't feel it anymore, like I've lost intrest in it. Maybe I'll try a few things I use to do again" he said and knew that it was just the shear pressure of the fate of the world.

"Let me try something...here. Since its only fair that I got to see something from your memories" he said and then focused and exerted his will into this world. Everything in the world shifted as it changed from a very forested area to a misty highland. The air was cool and slightly damp but not unpleasant. The area around them was a ruins of a castle that was still standing. Above them on the ramparts was a very young Kail and his father. The man was much older and a bit more rugged looking Kail. He had the same red hair although blue eyes. In each of there hands were wooden play swords and were having an epic duel to the death. Both of them laughing and having a good time. While above them a very beautiful woman was watching from one of the towers.

This woman had a very pretty dress as it was a pale cream color that matched well with her black hair and vived green eyes. As she was easily his mother, as she was playing the maiden in distress. While Kail was playing the hero and his father playing the villain. "My father took me and my mother out here to see the view of this castle. Plus have a little picnic afterwards, I had been sick with a nasty flu and I just gotten better a week ago. So he brought us out here to celebrate my recovery. Then with my mom set the entire thing up. With my mom playing the princess or queen that needed to be saved from the wicked overlord. I had a blast" he said and was reminiscing of his own past.

A kind smile spread across Valdis face as he got her message, she placed her hand on his shoulder and placed a gentle kiss on his forehead. Really that was all she wanted for him….the ability to try to live life with the vigor it was meant to have.

”Keep that lesson in here”

She patted his heart and gave him a light hearted smile.

”As long as you do that, everything will be alright.”

Because of the physical contact with her hand on his heart, and his will Val felt another vision taking over…one that was not a part of her past….she let it go curious to see where it would lead. She blinked when the seen played out in front of her.

”D’awwwww look at the wittle Killian”

She looked up at his mother and studied her a bit, then looked back at herself then back at her.

”You mom has the same size boobs I do….no wonder her dress fit so well”

She giggled, this whole vision was adorable; she plopped down on the grass and enjoyed the memory. She enjoyed the sites of the ruins, and the green grass.

”I do still believe you and the others will see the land back like this…eventually. It will be a tough road but hey maybe Nazo will call my ghost self to come haunt one of these places…. I could always end up haunting you to make sure you don’t forget to have fun and don’t go all doom and gloom on me again.”

"Well let me have a feel and then I can make the proper compairson" joked Kail as he knew that would give Val a few laughs. He had a small chuckle as well and did not matter since it was a win win situation there. "I do as well, and I really want to see the green of the earth again. I just wish we did not have such a slow start. By the way, I know that you tend to make a lot of connections with people. But you know anyone from the science department. I was thinking of going to your father but I think it would take too much time" he said figuring on going to the more direct approche to the matter at hand. Plus faster since time was of the essence with them as a group.

"Also...can you give me some kind of insight on Kousuke? I don't understand him in general, just due to his recklessness of being a invincible hero. None of us are gods or mythic heroes that have the gods on there side. Or being being someone from game who has a extra live or a 1up mushroom" he said showing that he had some problems dealing with people. "I know that one day we all might have to make that one sacrifice for the greater good. But he's trying to make himself be expendable, what happens if he does something something crazy. Dies and does not come back from it, does he understand that at all. Sorry for the rant" he said, since Val was still with him. He hoped for some advice on the matter.

Did he really just ask to grope her? Valdis paused and blinked then burst out laughing. She in turned gave him a wink and shook her head.

”You will have to take that up with my hubby, I wouldn’t be a very good wifey if I just let any buddy touch these awesome sweater melons.”

Her good mood was ebbed slightly when he asked if she knew anyone in the science department, that and the fact he was going to ask her dad. She let out a sigh and plopped down in the grass of the vision.

”…Yes I know of someone, I can probably set something up for you….or at least direct you in their direction. You can’t involve my name however so you will have to figure out your own excuse for seeking them out...I will track down where the live and give you the address….and you will have to keep the weapon stuff to yourself until they let you in on how it works….no one was supposed to know about that stuff yet. Only reason I do is because I was spying for Gemini”

It was an odd thing to bring a downer to her jolly mood so quickly, but at least the subject changed slightly.

”….My experience with Kousuke is limited, if you wish for insight I am not the one to ask….seek out one of the cats, or Ama on that end…I’m afraid I do not have enough interaction with him to be able to form a solid opinion. My association with the group is only linked to you, Nazo, Sophia, and Yinko….and on a growing basis Lance….However Kousuke has died….became a tree…then came back, I can understand why he’d be more reckless considering his past history.”

She was amused once more about the whole god not on their side thing….She let out a small chuckle at the thought, his statement was not quite true. Considering Nazo’s background…

"Don't worry, its more like....I want to see where they stand on things. I know that they have some devices. In the meeting but weapons? That's kind of a surprise.......Sorry for changing the mood entirely. I'll seek out Amarissa out when I can.....But I did not know what to give you as a parting gift, so I figured this memory of my past would be good enoug" said Kail as he saw Val's mood drop. He walks over and gives Val a hug. "Maybe we should get back to reality, I can pull up a movie or something and get some popcorn or other snacks" he said since this dream world was done with. Plus he would have liked to get back to the real world. "For right now....I'll put the doom and gloom stuff off until tomorrow or something" Kail said wanting to at least have a few good times before Val had to do her last sacrificial act for the world.

”They have quite a bit discovered, Libra had been trying to ….delay the research of such things. There was a top secret meeting right after the day we talked to him. He fired Libra and tried to arrest him going off of something I said about the cats… I had a lovely view of his computer from the vents I was hiding in….

She smiled it was touching to know that he had wanted to give her a gift before she had to go. She smiled slightly as the vision faded away and they were once more in her room. She was getting better at showing these visions, it wasn’t tiring her out as much once she figured out how much energy they needed to be done with.

”Thank you, and don’t take my mood drop as me not appreciating your gift, I’m touched that you shared it with me. Like you I sometimes struggle with the weight of what is around me, mentioning my father just hit a particular sore spot….during the meeting I was spying on Libra had him shot in the chest…I came very close to losing him…he’s in the hospital recovering. But considering my time on this earth is coming to an end I am sad to say he had taken away any chance of me going out on a happy note with him.”

Valdis sighed; a movie and some snacks sounded good right now; better than going home to an empty house.

”Ahh staying here is so much better than an empty house….or the youma realm….how ever I get to smash so many heads in the youma realm so that’s relaxing in its own way as well. That training is going swimminly though, I have been spending most of my nights with Gemini. As a warning if you ever go up against my twinsie…he has this awful trick of making a double…which you will have to accept as being part of yourself….it’s really hard to swallow…mine is a freaking Sophia double….yuck… or he can create thousands of undead armies…He will be a hard one to beat. Especially if you get hit by his gun your capput so don’t try to armor it out dodge it….However I do have one request regarding him….set Sophia after him I think he of all people can be reasoned with. He comes off as gruff and uncaring but he’s got a pretty soft side”

She tugged on the half of a friendship necklace with the numeral I on it.

”Shoved the other half of this on him and he’s still wearing it, touching really. I would like to see him spared if possible…same with the cow. I’ve grown attached to both of them. The cow will help you when Beyrls plans show there true colors. It’s not what the cow wants, and I doubt it is what my twinsie wants, although he probably knows it. He knew my involvement with you guys and he’s still helping me… But like me he’s protecting someone so the grip the covenant has on him is a bit stronger. In the end I do not know if he will be able to go against the covenant…at least not out right. I believe he’s using me as a way to do it underhandedly. Capricorn…I met him he seems interesting, I will be bugging him more along with Aquarius. She happens to be Rosa’s mother… I will work on her as well in this next week. So you and the others will not see me around as much.”

Valdis smiled a little, she had grown attached to some of the zodiac, and had actually made progress in her plan in the short time that she was there. So she had done something for the team at least.

”After I’m gone….I don’t know if Nazo would be able to do it, but he can contact spirits. If you need something from me advice or something you can try threw him. Can’t guarantee if it would work but it’s a nice thought…and I wouldn’t mind sticking around to haunt people to see this come to an end…maybe I’ll set up residence in the shrine and scar the crap out of Granny when I can…or my Dads office…one of them.”

And with that the light mood was back.

Kail silently let Val speak as it looked like she needed to talk a bit, a lot more then himself. "I see...knowing you, vengeance will be your prime thing on Libra. If you fail to get him before the timer is up. I'll gladly finish the job for you" he said and frowned greatly as fate seemed to be cruel to all of them. Even more so for Valdis herself "I'll check in on him, from time to time. Its the least a I can do for you, and I understand. Since we both understand each other on some level. I know that you did appreciate it" he said and then it started to move on the Zodiac side and that's when the redhead was trying to be thoughtful on the matter.

"With Gemini, I will take that to heart if and when we ever clash with him. I'll let Sophia do her thing on trying to convince him to our side. I can not give a promise if they are spared or not. I will try and spare there lives. I know that in good vs evil there is always the ambiguious grey area. I mostly assumed that they were all evil" Kail said and saw that they were back in his room. And it seemed like he had sobered up from the visions that Valdis pulled off. He gets up from his bed and stretches a bit. "Your father's office might be the better idea.....Rei might try and banish your spirit to the afterlife" said Kail and then looks over at her.

"If you want to stay here for the remainder of your time left so you don't feel alone you can. I'll do what I can on my end to try and get some kind of thing going. If your around tomorrow or sometime in the next few days. I need to ask you some serious questions because well I am acting as your left hand so to speak while Sophia is your right" he said as Kail was going to keep his word on making tonight something at least fun for the both of them. "I'll be back with the popcorn and stuff" he said to her.

”The worst part was I was in the vent when it happened it was like my mother’s funeral all over again and…I could have healed him right then and there or even helped go after Libra….even now I could heal him. It was the hardest decision I had to make…because if I did…I would have outted myself out as the spy and then put all of us in danger that and screw up all that we have been working towards….But you are right….. I will get even one way or another.”

She nodded when he said he’d check on him for her, she did appreciate it; she also appreciated the fact he would attempt to spare Gemini.

”I had assumed the same…but honestly if it wasn’t for how things would turn out they are my kinda people. I enjoy spending time with them at least; they are amusing. Other short skirt squad members not so much”

Valdis chuckled at hid advise.

”Rei’s place it is”

Valdis appreciated the offer but was unlikely going to take it.

”Thank you, but the more I keep myself separate from the rest of you the better. Plus I have much to do in very little time. I likely will not be home…I will likely bring the dogs with me though. ….If you have questions though ask them now; tonight may be one of the lasts chances to do so.”

She waited while he went to go get popcorn.

Kail nods his head and goes down to the kitchen and gets two back of popcorn that was already popped. He grabs a few normal drinks back up to his room and gives Val one bag. And then one for himself "Alright.....I know that we need to find those crystals. As well as get some tech support from our allies....but is there any other things that could get the group stronger. Also, I guess what else would you want me to do" he said and grabs his playstation controller and ends what he was watching. He goes through his list and pulls up one of the Inuyasha movies. He then selects play and the movie starts to play as he gets comfortable back in his bed.

"Maybe I should look for a girlfriend" he said and took a handful of popcorn and put it into his mouth. If the world was ending in some degree, he might as well go out with a bang with someone that he loved. Although Aiko looked at her master and wined slightly and looked a bit off put by the comment and he had to pet her head a bit. "Don't worry your still in my life" he said to his pet fox with a chuckle.

She pulled apart the popcorn bag and started munching, the nice thing about dyeing within the week she didn’t have to watch her weight. She could eat whatever she wanted.

”Ask the cats about the crystals, I have no way to track them or any knowledge of them what so ever. As for things that would benefit the group….Sophia has her own Venus castle….I was wondering if there was a castle on each of the Senshi’s planets. Look into that and you may find weapons on your own planets…”

Valdis once again was comfy on the end of his bed.

”If my theory proves correct, and there are multiple castles, and we find a way to revive this earth perhaps we could revive one of the kingdoms of another planet….which would mean there could potentially be a new world for the youma to be sent to …too call their own. Though frankly that would mean the person who’s planet they are one would be in charge of regulating intergalactic communications and relations…. It’s just something to look into.”

Valdis went back to thinking of his original question.

”Personally I have been going up against Gemini nightly, he’s been giving me all that he’s got and I can hold my own now….can’t defeat him but I’m comfortable about taking a Zodiac on one to one. But that’s because I’ve pushed myself close to the breaking point to catch up….the most important thing you can do is learn is energy control. Focus not on big stuff but also small. For example”

Valdis held out one finger and a purple flame burst forth. The flame jumped up a couple of feet before swirling back down into a condensed glow. The glow slowly became more intense and pulsing, an intense heat radiating off of it, followed by a small hum. The amount of energy that was gathering in that one spot was frightening; quickly reaching the youma they fought at the shrines.

”Even if I just let this go it would do an immense amount of damage to anything around….however the key is to know where to hit. Save your hits for when he spot a weak point…then hit and hard. If you can cause a chain reaction…then that’s where you want to hit….You won’t need as much in that case. But this exercise of making your power appear, and holding it as long as you can and more is how you can increase your own strength. Use your powers until your about to break, you should feel as drained as you did the day you fought Jaedite…..After your completely drained take more energy, like we gave Ama ours, take till your about to burst and what you can handle will stretch….It is tough and intense….”

The energy that was creating a loud hum vanished, and it was as if the energy from the room was suddenly sucked out and gone into thin air.

”A trick I recommend for all to learn, Granny can teach you. Learn to mask how much energy you have. I let just enough out to seem like I’m normal, only when I don’t wish to be discovered do I cloak my presence entirely. Better keep it a surprise then wear it on your sleeve.”

Valdis went back to munching. Gemini’s lessons had improved her greatly...

”I have mentioned this before and I will mention it again; Nazo knows his powers, he’s the strongest out of all of you. Ask him for help! He has a better grip of the future then I do. That man has orchestrated more than I have, without him there would be no Senshi. Since your use to my personality you should have no problem with him now”

Valdis laughed when he suggested he get a girlfriend.

”One of the three girls that were hanging around the dance with you might be a possibility. They seemed plenty interested. However don’t do anything rash; but I don’t think that I will have to worry about you.”

There was a bitter sweet smile on her face.

”I joke with Nazo; but I do like him. Wish there was some more time but alas, I’ve enjoyed what I have had and it will soon come to an end. At least he has humored me.”

Valdis watched the movie, she was silent for a bit until Sesshoumaru came on….she blinked …..looked at Kail with wide eyes then looked back.

”Holy freakin eh I’m a gender bent fluffy…..I wonder if my Zodiac form will be a puppy…..”

Kail did not think about the castles on each planet and just shrugged on it "I think, I would not need the weapon.....I already have my own. But its still something I should think about. But awaken a planet that's going to be a bit nuts when that happens though. Youma having there own world.....sounds like something out of a Shin Megami game. Knowing Sophia, she's more then likely going to volunteer to do that " he joked slightly and looked at Valdis as she was doing something with her powers and watched. He also listend to the entire thing. Just letting her speak and made a mental note when he saw the Kylia girl about this. But who would he get the energy pool from. Kail took a mental note to get Sophia on this and would help her and perhaps the others in the long run. Then the presence masking would be a great tool for most of them. Especialy Amarissa and Sophia as they were the major long ranged attackers. Or even himself but in a odd why did not fit him for going into a fight.

Speaking with Nazo, that would have to be something as the two of them rarely spoke outside of the random meetings. If he ever showed up at those, he felt like the major observer then anything. Or he would help when it was a total fubar situation "I can agree with that on Nazo though" he said. Kail had to chuckle loudly at the thought of that trio. "Great......now I'm a character from a shojo manga......Those three kinda looked like they wanted to jump my bones if you know what I mean" he said and then laughed loudly when Valdis saw Sesshoumaru show up on screen. "Knowing you, the demon wings and maybe a scorpion stinger tail" he took a wild guess on that matter. He got comfortable again and drank a bit more of the hardstuff he had in a glass. "I'm.......going to have one heck of a hangover in the morning " he said and just watched the movie occationaly scarfing some more popcorn down.

”You may not need the weapons but others might, and who knows what you’d find…I think it is worth going to go check out.”

She tapped her chin in thought when he went on to say Sophia was likely to volunteer…she was the most likely and was the one most accepting…for the most part. However Sophia was likely to be an unfavorable match when it came to the Youma.

”While I agree she’d be the most likely to volunteer, there are a couple of reasons that would be unwise. One I don’t think the Youma would be able to get to her realm, I wasn’t able to which is why I found out how to reach the youma realm. So really it’s a theory at best...Another reason for that being unwise is how the youma’s social hierarchy is established. I don’t think Sophia would be comfortable thrashing some youma to establish her dominance. Which is why I would suggest if that were to take place recruiting some of the Zodiac. Gemini and the Cow for example....”

Valdis sighed, really it was only a small hope in the long run, and there were a lot of ifs. Unfortunately it would be something she would be un able to investigate.

”There is another matter which worries me about the planets. If Sophia has her castle established on Venus then there is a large chance that there are other realms and establishments further out….Some of which may be populated.”

She looked over at Kail.

”If the youma were able to find their way here, what’s stopping others? I honestly think that exploring the possibility of each senshi having their own planet should be a priority….not an immediate one but a future one. Threats can be easier to establish if a watch is set up; so eventually we could use some of the higher functioning youma as an outer barrier. That again is based on if the youma being able to be transferred to a different planet, along basing it on the Senshi’s Victory. However if you establish a plan on what to do with the future, you’re going to have a larger chance of recruiting. Right now the Senshi are just beat the bad guys then figure out what to do…people do better with a vision of what the figure will be like. Which is what the covenant is feeding people, a false hope of the future…”

Valdis smiled.

”But just think of the possibilities; having multiple planets, all the resources that could be available to everyone. How much larger would all our worlds become when it is not just this planet any longer. Just the idea of the adventure of establishing new colonies would be exciting.”

There was a spark of excitement that Valdis always got when she saw a new challenge ahead of her. She had a vision for the future and a goal that she would want to work forward. She had accomplished much of what she wanted to in terms of her musical career…but beyond that she did not have any goals to reach for beyond helping the Senshi to victory…this was a new life goal for her; however. The spark in her eyes slowly faded away; these goals she wouldn’t live to see even started. Valdis however was thankful for the distraction when he brought up Nazo again. However she laughed when he mentioned his life was becoming a shojo manga.

”Better than the murderous looks I got, say do you have any of their work? Maybe they are the ones who wrote that note”

Her face went slack when he basically described her form being more like a chimera then a puppy.

”Great….Not only is my energy the same color now my ass will take after Jaedite as well”

He talked about hangovers and she laughed, and flashed her fangs.

”I can probably take care of that”

"Well.......she would not be doing the thrashing, that would be David's job honestly" said Kail as he made a light chuckle on that matter. "But agreed, they would not trust a human to rule after them. A fellow youma like you sudjested, would have there trust a lot more" he said looking it over. Even if he had sudjested himself they would not still fully trust him. If Kail was what he was like right now. The redhead had a lot more growing to do on himself and then those around him. Then on long term goals he was a bit dumbfounded as he did not consider it at all. But it took him a bit to think on it and leaned over to his bag and pulls out a folder. "Here is the class work from my class. its in alphabetical order by family name and then first name " he said giving Valdis that while he had a moment to ponder a bit.

"I know that the youma have to be dealt with in some kind of way. The problem is, knowlage is what we are all lacking....the problem is. We would need a unbiast source though.....because one side might fabricate more for there side or another to say that there right. I wish that the Great Library of Alexandra still exsisted today, as some people theorized that we may have had far more knowlage of past things that were not apart of history. Perhaps like the Silver Millianium or other things " Kail said as he started to think out loud. "Just with me becoming a knight, my head has been swimming at times if some lores and myths are real. Like when at that first major meeting we all had. When I mentioned Endy to the cats there memory came back for a second. I know I said this before. But perhaps its time I tried this again" he said and then looked over at Valdis.

"Hey Chimeria's are kick ass though, I mean in Final Fantasy games if you see one of those suckers. You run like hell due to how powerful they are. And naaaaa.....your still going to have a cute butt anyway. Although, I'm not sure about the hicky though. Nazo might get a bit jealious" he said as Kail kept trying to make things more positive for Valdis. As he knew even though she had no regrets of what she was doing. There seemed that there were a few things that could have been, he was not too sure on it. Kail though hoped that he could see Valdis one more time before she passed on to the afterlife.

”Peter may be better suited for it; he has the weak must be dominated kinda personality, Yinko is just….well he’s the I’m right your wrong so I’m going to stabby you kinda personality. I’ve seen Peter be talked out of the I’m going to slice your throat mentality.”

Valdis scratched the back of her head in thought.

”Keeping the Zodiac ranks may be easiest, since they are already established as leaders.”

Valdis took the papers and began to flip threw them until she got to the trios. When he asked about finding a library Valdis paused and looked up, her eyebrow arched.

”Nazo can look back into time and into the future, and he’s far more skilled at it then I. While I have pieced together some of the picture via Scorpio memories who had lived it I do not have all the information. I really don’t see why you don’t utilize Nazo more, he’s very useful when you’re looking for information…and a good teacher. He knows when to spoon feed you information and when you need to branch out and grow on your own. I respect him when it comes to things like that, he is very wise….prefer him much more then to the cats…whom also would be good for prying information about the past from. They were the one to tell us the moon stuff after you prompted them….Once you know the questions to ask finding the information is not quite so hard as you would first think. I haven’t been coming across much trouble in the gathering department….but that’s because I go and nose around for both sides of the story then overlap them. The truth shows up in between the lines of both sides. Lance seems to be remaining neutral; use Sophia to sew the questions you need answered.”

Really they had a useful group of people, utilizing them really shouldn’t be as hard as it had been…then again most of the group thus far had been reluctant on the idea of using the others….though she preferred the term discretely delegating.

”Trying to find old books may be useful, perhaps the history hasn’t been lost….just archived as myth and lore as your suspecting. Doesn’t hurt to fallow a lead.”

Valdis chuckled, she really had only been joking when she asked what her Zodiac form was. Frankly she didn’t think he was too far off with his guess.. Her thoughts trailed back to the previous conversation….this would really be the last time that she’d really be able to give any sort of advice. She did want to make it count….however on dooms day’s subject she was slightly stuck ..Until a thought struck her….her eyes opened wider and she stared at Kail, a small smile growing on her lips.

”Taking a few steps back in the conversation…I may have advise on that obelisk after all. On dooms day they are going to need the Zodiac to activate the Obelisks. Now the energy will be draining from the obelisks…and if it works anything like I think it does then it won’t be acting as a magnifier as much to the things that are surrounding it. Dooms day may be your window to march and bring one down…although that does not leave you much time in which to prepare. If it happens like that then you can count on me to keep the Zodiac busy on their end….so you won’t have to encounter them as well as bring down an obelisk. The sheer number of youma on that end will be difficult enough. Either way I will be messing with them that day anyways….might as well take the window of opportunity it’s creating.”

Kail thinks on Nazo a bit "I don't know, maybe some of us don't think he is approachable. Or know where to find him though since he likes to come and go like the wind. Like he has his own mission anyway. Questions are always the hardist to ask as you don't know how to word it or know if its the right thing" he said in general as he thought more on a few other things. Where could he go for the knowlage he seeked. Perhaps he should find Nazo at least and see if any of those book survived at all. Since they could have been at least some kind of key to help the team. He did agree on keeping the Zodiac ranks as that could set at least some kind of system of command. But then came to the Obelisks again and sighed and heard that would be the perfect strike when D-day would happen. That was not enough time for anyone to pull off the attack.

"This is why I need to speak to those tech guys.........I'm having a feeling that Libra might be next on our hit list. He might have some technology that they could use or something. I mean he is a mad scientist so he's going to have a lab....but we would need to strike him ASAP if those guys could make something. It could tip the scales more to our favor . So your going to have to give me that info those people before you leave" he said as he looked at her. And was rubbing his forehead as he had to make a plan quickly. Since he did not have enough to go on with anything, but that peak moment was perfect and super hard to capitalize on. "Now I have to make the impossible, possible now" he said quating an anime character's catchprase on this. It seemed that he was going to have to do something but did not have enough time.
