Kail gives a nod to Sophia to go on ahead and it seemed that Amarissa was on the ball. As she texted Kaguya to come to the shrine. "We might need to talk on another matter once this is over. Its with seeing those science people of the JSDF" he said and would pull out a small notepad and then a pen jotting down a few ideas. The redhead watches as Kaguya walks up trying to figure out what exactly what was going on. He was now trying some way to stall the Covenant due to the fact that things were not in the court and it was near the end of the clock. They needed to tie the game before it was game over for the most part.

Amarissa nods, agreeing with Sophia's explanation of the problem. "We know it's a lot to ask of you, and I for one will understand if you're not willing to put yourself in this position. However, I don't expect that to be the case with you," she said, smiling at the spunky senshi.

She then turns her attention to Killian as he suggests they might have more to talk to about, and a worried look crosses her face. "That's a good point," she says vaguely, thinking about the information she received from Kousuke. Taking out the Zodiac in charge of the SPECTRE program might help buy them some time, but it was super risky. "Maybe we could ask Kousuke if he has any ideas. Didn't he mention something about a zodiac in the military at the meeting?" she asks, hoping the others would take the hint.

Kaguya just looked a bit dumb founded at what Sophia wanted her to do and just had a very odd look on her face. "......Ok....Sophia...whatever your smoking, give me some of that" she said and was trying to be funny at the situation. But she gets serious and tries to have some compsure back and thinks for a second. "I don't know how effective, I am going to be but. I'll give it a try, even then I have some questions for him anyway. They have been bugging me for awhile now since that meeting" she said and was not sure even if she could talk him into this. But if they were able to talk a bit then maybe things would be fine. Although for Kaguya she felt weirded out at the fact that the Moon Knight saw her as his obsession. The very person that was trying to kill them all and destroy the world at large.

"Well that's if he's not suicidal and tries to bonzai and go after the guy himself. Even though I'm not his charge at all I worry about him doing something stupid like that. Again Sorry about that Ama, the situation between me and his is just complicated" she said and just turned to face Amarissa on speaking to her.

Sophia’s face keeps serious as Kaguya jokes and waits for a yes or no. Levity was a little beyond her ability at the moment. She gives a shrug, “I don’t know how effective it will be either. But it gives us a good enough shot as anything else. So I suppose the plan is for Kaguya and me to invite him out somewhere to talk about the nature of his corruption. Then Kaguya will try to convince him to go along with it willingly. If not, well, we do what we need to do. Agreed?”

She looks at Kail, “Alright. The JSDF science department. I don’t have any contacts with them nor do I know how to get them.” She pushes her hair back, “Alright, let’s not personally attack those of us who aren’t here. If Kousuke has any information, that would be helpful. We can arrange to meet with him after this.”

“But before that. You should all be aware of a few things. Both Lance, or maybe you’d know him better as Oni, and Valdis have joined the Covenant. Lance doesn’t seem to want to do anything but create a neutral area in Shinjuku that is free from all the fighting. That means it will be free from Covenant and senshi activities. I don’t think we should have any reason to fight him since we have no reason to bring a fight to Shinjuku. I can’t say I disagree with the existence of such a space. As for Valdis, she says that she has lost hope for the future. That the end of everything is coming soon and there is nothing we can do. I don’t know what to think. She still seems to care about us, I think, but she’s fallen deep in despair. I’d like everyone to remain positive. We’ll do what we can to insure that both the JSDF and American military are ready for whatever happens. I will probably talk to the Uranus senshi personally unless any of you also want to meet her, so we can try to get the American military ready for action. And most of all, we need to be ready for any kind of battle that comes our way. I’d like the Moon Knight to be purified before then. That’s just something I need to see to happening.” She’s aware those are some pretty large bombshells that she just dropped on the three of them.

Kail looks over to Sophia and gives a slight nod "That I will be taking care of that myself on that matter. That's fine with me on that matter, I have other matters to deal with as a whole" he said as he was done jotting down a few notes. Until Sophia dropped her bomb on the three of them and wanted to curse slightly. On how she figured out this plan at all since he was being very careful on not saying anything. He knew that Valdis would not say anything and that left Lance. The redhead wanted to strangle the man for slipping something like this up. Kail had threw on a pokerface as he did not want to show any of the girls what he knew on the matter. "Look we have bigger fish to fry. Lance can do whatever the hell he wants at this point. I don't give a damn on what he is doing" desiding to vent his frustrations as he was angry. More then likely at Lance, but not the same reason he said to the three girls.

"With Valdis though, I don't know what to think at this point. If you will excuse me I have things to do. And no, I am not going after Lance. I'll give you ladies a call when I got that meeting set up." he had other worries to deal with and had to go. But he had to answer Amarissa though "Amarissa tell me one thing, though would he actualy work with anyone. Or is he going to go off and do his own thing? Because from the looks of things that's what he has been doing. I don't hate the guy, I am just frustrated by him" he said not intending to mirror Kaguya. But he saw the guy just go off to do his own thing and then just come in like the lead hero and just save the day. For him reality did not work like that, if it did then the Covenant would be deathly afraid of there group.

Amarissa nods, smiling as Kaguya agrees to help them. She expected that from the head strong senshi, it was one of the qualities Ama admired. The smiling was short lived, though, as Sophia dropped the bomb on them that Valdis and Lance had joined the Covenant. Up to this point, no one outside maybe her own mother had seen her angry, but the emotion settled on her face as she stood away from the pole she'd been leaned against. She was furious, in a barely contained way, a slight tremble to her as the wind blew her hair.

"Are they stupid? They're throwing away everything we've worked for these last months! And don't you take their side either, Sophia. The reasons they say they're joining don't matter. They'll be twisted and corrupted like every other person we've seen. Did you think about the affect this is going to have on the group? People are struggling as it is with hope and doing the right thing. Not to mention, they've been seen with us at various battles. It's going to make us look bad," she raged, though she never actually yelled. Her voice was filled with anger, yet someone she still managed to keep it fairly level.

Amarissa shook her head in disbelief. "We're going to have to cut all ties with BOTH of them, Sophia. If we want the military and citizens to take us seriously, we can't be seen or known to have any contact with either Lance or Valdis. Lance isn't as big a problem as Valdis. She knows too much about us. Who knows what she'll tell Zodiac? We're in twice as much danger as we were before, and now so are our families because she knows who we are." She continued, "I'm leaving. This is really just too much for me right now. Talk to the Moon Knight and let me know what happens." Amarissa finished and then proceeded to storm down the stairs, disappearing around the corner.

Kaguya looks at Sophia as she gave a no nonsense look it just made her frown slightly "Wow.....what made you get up on the wrong side of the bed" she said sarcasticly. She was about to ask on how to get in touch with the Moon Knight. Then Sophia dropped a nuke apon her and her face perhaps went cold as her fury was evident on her face. She exudes this rage as this would be the same as her facing off against her enemies or prey at times. This betrayal had hurt her greatly, as Valdis knew where her father worked. Lance on the other hand she had a problem with. But the uncontrolled and raging Oni, that worried her to no end. As how were they going to stop a Hulk like being that could not be brought down. "If......I ever see those.....backstabbers. I will make sure there deader then dead...." she said and her tone was truly cold like a Siberian winter. The pink haired girl turns and leaves not wanting to deal with this.

"You better not stop me Sophia.....I do not like betrayals at all. You better pray I don't get to them if they show up at a fight" she said. Her anger and fury ignored what Kail had said to all of them. She like Amarissa was angry but much more worse then her. She walks off going off in the same way that Amarissa did.

Kail was about to leave until both Amarissa and Kaguya blowing up at Sophia as the bombshells were dropped. It was the first time he saw Amarissa getting angry and then walking off. Then sees and feels Kaguya's rage and it was something to be feared. As she was absolutely pissed off and her fury would not saited until she got her hands on either of them in a fight. The redhead waits for the two girls to walk out and leave him and Sophia alone. He knew that she would need the support now and this was something that Valdis would want him to do. "This is not turning out well for you. Do you need to talk.....you might need it" he said to her. Since it looked like most of the group might go against Sophia and might not accept her issuing orders and such.

"Your timing was rather bad on that. Plus I don't think you gauged everyone that well on taking the info" he said and walked back over to her.

Sophia gives Kail a confused look by his indifferent expression. Anger. Sadness. These were things that she would expect. The reaction that she received seemed bizarre. She thought Valdis and Kail were close. However, she remembers that he said that he never felt comfortable confiding in people. He didn’t need to be stoic on her behalf though. “You’re not worried then? Alright, I suppose keep me updated on how things go. As for Kousuke, I think he’s good for the team. It’s nice to see someone so optimistic about the future, and it’s contagious. I think he’ll always do his own thing, but I don’t expect him to do anything like take on a Zodiac by himself. That would be nuts even for him. And I do think he’s can work with people as long as they can feed off his positivity about life.”

Sophia stars at Ama, surprised by her outburst. “Twisted and corrupted… No, they aren’t like that. They aren’t as far gone as the others that we’ve met. And even then, is that really how you feel about all of them? Shouldn’t they be the most deserving of our compassion? Never mind, that is a point lost on everyone. I’m not taking anyone’s side, but they are my friends. They will always be my friends. Somethings don’t change. However, I can’t stop them.”

She closes her eyes for a bit, exhaling a little. Reopening, she continues with a more firm tone of voice, “I never said to call them members of the team. As for cutting off all contact, I’ve got hope that they may come around again. The public doesn’t know our identities, and I am to keep it that way. Valdis won’t tell on us. First, we’d be dead already if she had. Us and our families. Second, Valdis cares too much about out us at this point. She won’t turn us in, but she probably won’t be seen with us either. I don’t really know what she is doing, but I think she is still interested in our safety.”

Shaking her head as Ama storms off, she looks to Kaguya. She frowns deeply as Kaguya fumes. “You too then. Don’t threaten lives, Kaguya. You can’t ever give them back once you’ve taken them.”

She looks up at Kail, “Yeah. Maybe I should have waited. However, I couldn’t really hide it from them. That would have made things a million times worse if they learnt it some other way. I’m hoping some time between now and seeing them in battle will give them some perspective. I can’t explain it well. Their souls aren’t like the rest. They haven’t gone past the hypothetical point of no return. Corrupted as they may be, they are still good people at heart. I’m not going to let them hurt those two. I don’t know what’ll I do, but I’ll think of something, I guess. How are you feeling? You are also Val’s friend. I can’t imagine this is easy for you either. You don’t need to be so stoic.”

Kail almost had a you have no idea look on his face "....I think that some of the group had friendly connections to Valdis. Unlike the two of us who have perhaps made deeper bonds. Plus due to that vision its put everyone on edge as it almost feels that we have no hope. So everyone is holding by a thread, with Valdis and Lance jumping ship though. A good number of our group might see this as we are not going to win. And they were just looking after themselves" he said trying to point out the overall state of the team. So it would not look good overall for the rest of the team. It looked like Sophia was going to be frustrated on how not to have the team try and kill Valdis and Lance.

"I think you might want to gauge everyone again before trying to drop a nuke like that. I mean.....I don't know if you keep in touch with a good amount of people in the group. But you might want to.....maybe talk to Amarissa and maybe Kaguya one on one. I think Amarissa could be talked from trying to attack Valdis and Lance. I don't think it will be that simple with Kaguya. There might be something deeper then whats going on right now. That's just what I am observing from what has happend" said Kail and sighs slightly at Sophia as he just was not sure how to answer her truthfuly.

"Its not easy....I'm just as depressed and down like everyone in this group. Val is Val and I know she has something planned, but I don't know what. I think....most of us will feel better if we feel empowered. That we got this or see that we can defeat the enemy. I wish we had more breathing room, its been hard as we have just been grasping in the dark. So right now I am trying to get some kind of miracle going for us" he said and now he had to get a bit serious as he needed to know how she knew what was going on with Valdis and Lance.

"Sophia.....how did you find out about this" Kail asked as he was really curious on the matter.

Sophia smiles at Kail’s expression. At least someone else still cared. Someone still remembered that Valdis was one of the team. “No. You’re right. Only Valdis jumped ship because of the future though. I think, Covenant’s been treating Lance better than our teammates. And you know what they say about bees, honey, and vinegar. I mean, I know you don’t like him much either. Still, if they found out in battle, they would be as violent as they are now. I’m hoping some time and some words can help.”

Sophia rubs the back of her head, “Yeah. Valdis was always better at gauging responses than I was. I’ll try talking to them when they are less angry. I don’t think Kaguya likes or thinks much of me though. I might have more luck with Ama. She was the less murderous of the two.”

Giving Kail a hug, Sophia says, “We’ll be alright. I’m sure of it. Somehow, we’ll be alright. I don’t think we could use a miracle so much as a little faith. Maybe take a page from Kousuke’s book and be super positive all the time. I don’t know how he does it though. And I can’t say I know how to empower the group either.”

Releasing Kail from the hug, she looks up, recalling yesterday, “Well, I went to visit Lance. I normally buy him food and we talk. I wouldn’t to tell him what we were up to. He stopped me and told me that he and Valdis joined the Covenant. He said that he didn’t want it to be a surprise. We agreed to still be friends. He made a few deals about joining the other side. Certain areas are neutral and under his protection. Honestly, I think that’s asset to us rather than a hinderance. People will be safe there. I’m somewhat concerned for his safety though. He’s protecting my house. If the Covenant find out that he’s protecting a senshi’s home… I don’t really want to think about that. I visited Valdis after that. I went with Lance’s other personality Soma, the one we saw back at the Scorpio fight. Valdis told me that she joined the other side and that lost faith in our ability to succeed. Then I got chloroformed and passed out. Again.”

Kail was not expecting the hug from Sophia and was surprised a bit, he did relax a bit. But when he heard the explanation from Sophia about the betrayal that Val and Lance were doing. In his mind Kail was frowning and did not like this at all with Lance but he could not really do anything about it. As it was out of his hands now since that night "I think aside from what we are doing. I think we should try and concentrate on finding the rest of the Sailor Senshi and knights. The other thing we should try and look for are those Rainbow Crystals......Valdis did give us a small parting gift. She gave me the purple crystal...so we are up to at least two. So we need to find at least five more. I'm going to be training again with a new sword master, as well as trying to go back to my original plan to do research on myths and lores. There is something you could help me with once I get this one thing worked out" he said and then ponders a bit. Reflecting on what Valdis said to him last night.

"There might be a way to increase one's energy reserves and stamina for it. But I need to well learn how to tap into my knight's elemental powers for this. When I am not my alter ego Exia, once I do though. I am going to need to be overloaded with energy....and try and adjust to that amount in my body. I could apply this method with you, since we tend to use a lot of combination skills more then the others. Just to see if this works " said Kail as he now had a better plan now. "Now aside from this your going to need a bit more work on trying to gauge most of the team. Maybe get to know them a lot better, in this case. Perhaps try and get to know Kaguya better as a person. As to why she had a more.....killer instinct then Amarissa on this. I mean does she have friends in or out of the team? " he said. Oddly not expecting to be playing the advisor, although that's what he originaly was trying to do as the stratagist.

Kail wished he had one for himself as he now had to fend for himself for several weeks or more. He had to now think much more quickly on things now. Plus they had to be more split second chocies.

Sophia gives a nod, “Yeah, senshi, knights, and crystals. Next priority after dealing with theoretical end of the world. However, I’d like to get that handled first. I doubt we have the ability to obtain all the crystals before then. It would be a pretty big gamble to spend all our time looking for the crystals instead of preparing Tokyo and ourselves for attack.”

Sophia tilts her head wearing an expression of utter confusion, “This is why Valdis joining the other side is confusing. Why give us a crystal then? Why do anything that she has done to help?” She sighs, “At Lance is simpler for the most part, other personalities aside. Like I said, I don’t think they are our enemies. Not yet.”

“I’m willing to give it a try. I’ve never understood how the energy thing works though. Where it comes from. Where it goes. Most of this has been trial and error, I suppose,” she says.

Her eyes go toward the exit from which Amarissa and Kaguya headed out. “Believe it or not, I’ve actually talked a lot with Ama. Possibly more than anyone else on the team except Kousuke. It’s hard to explain… we follow the same train of logic and thoughts but still end up at different conclusions. I think we’ll be in constant disagreement until the day we die. And that’s just how it is. I’ll talk to her privately on the matter once she’s cooled down. I think she’ll be more willing to talk on a different day. As for Kaguya, I’ve spoken to her a few times. However, she’s still made some pretty harsh judgements about me. As for friends outside of the group, I’ve noticed most tend to run from her. I’ll try again though. See if anything comes out of it.” Her voice seems doubtful on that last bit.
