What a bother.
The SPECTRES deployed managed to capture the rogue Vega Project unit effortlessly. The female unit was completely caught off guard by the heavy handed apprehension and with enough chemicals the Vega unit had been kept in a comatose state for days.
Dr. Rishijo Matou stood in a panel overlooking the surgical table in a clean room in the secret facility on the outskirts of Tokyo. A frown grimaced his face, many things have happened lately. Dismantling the rogue unit was something he had been wanting to finish off for days now but problem after problem after problem constantly arose.
As he presses a panel, his voice comes into intercom system wired throughout the base.
"Sanjiro. Adaki. Get to Op Room 6 and handle the decomissioning of the rogue Vega unit that was captured. Her vat is in there and enough chemicals to keep her in a coma should remove the threat. I have to attend to another manner with the conversion of the blade spectre.." he says as he walks off.
Shortly after, two otherwise unremarkable looking scientists enter the room. A couple of other staff members bring in surgical tools meant for the retrieval of the various machines and devices implanted into Vega's body. One scientist goes over to Vega's vat and presses in a code, as the suspending fluid begins to drain and they transfer the unconscious Vega onto the surgical table.
At this point one of the men begin to undress the body for strictly medical reasons: Vega had numerous implants in her torso that were demanded to be retrieved. Another prepares a clippers for shaving off the hair for the neural implants. The surgical table contained numerous painful, sharp, and ouch inspiring tools which indicated the survival of the Vega unit was not at all a concern.
The surgical scissors begins to clip around the edge of Vega's shirt while the dull buzz of the clippers approaches her head...

// VEGA0045 .audio; play {
// audio file unknown .play; " Mommy...You going to wake up? Mommy? " { // audio file unknown .play; " WAKE UP! You gotta wake up V!" { Wake up... Both eyes shot open at once, pupils dilated as Vega stared up at the medical light. The sound of the clippers now just a few inches away. Out of reflexes and survival instincts, Vega's arms shot up from the table and reached out to the scientist with the hair trimmers. She grabbed hold of his coat sleeve and pulled him forward, flipping him over her and the table strait into the other scientist who was cutting at her. Pain shot up all through her body once her head managed to lift up from the table. What? What had happened to her? How did she get here? Did she get ambushed? Vega groaned, forcing herself up off the surgical table. Once her bare feet hit the cold marble floor, Vega took notice of the tools by the table and smiled wickedly. With out hesitation or a pause. She reached for the tools that were brought in here for her own personal...disassembly. Blue eyes swept the room for any potential threat, including the other men who were in the room with her. The military was trying to kill her. This room was the only proof she needed to turn on her own creators. Everyone in this building was a threat. A threat on her life and she was not about to die here. With a handful of surgical knives, her aim would be precise. Like an artist with a knife, Vega flung the knives straight into each of their skulls. No mercy, no time for them to beg. Vega cringed at another pulse of pain that surged throughout her body. There was no time to truly think about the situation. With what little valuable time she had she remove any wires, tubes, and devices hooked up to her. Then pillaged the bodies for a key card or something to open the doors. When she found a card, she picked up the knives again. Blood dripping from the tips as she opened the doors and slipped passed. There was no point in sneaking, not with cameras about. So she cautiously and quickly made her way down the first hall way to her right. Following the signs as she passed, Vega was on her way to the elevator, both eyes looking out for any movement as she ran down the hall.

As Vega ran down the hall, the deafening sounds of alarms would begin to ring through the base. The words Security Breach, Class I threat would ring repeatedly the facility. At the end of the hallway Vega was running down, she would see two heavily armored men covered head to toe in metal with strange rifles approaching her. Upon seeing her, they halt and raise their rifles at her, the sound of a hum in the air for but a second before multiple energy beams fire from them with every sincere attempt to end the life of Vega.
The left route of the end of the hall the soldiers came from had at least four doors visible, one on each side, while the right route would only lead to a left curve and whatever may lie beyond.

It seems like her mess back at the lab room had been found. The alarms ringing through out the halls and rooms, which made listening a little more problematic. Her pace quickened for only a minute until she could see the end of the hall. Her eyes quickly analyzing the soldiers from top to bottom as they drew their rifles up and took aim.
Shit.
With out hesitation, Vega dropped to the floor and slid down the hall just a fraction of the way. Just enough to manage and dodge the first few lasers that beamed past her head and torso. Her movements calculated and precise like the perfect little toy soldier they made her out to be. Dodging the lazier by tuck and roll for the time being until she was able to get close. Survival of the fittest as they say.
A burst of energy and Vega rolled and sprung back up onto her feet, charging full force at the armored man on the right. She managed to dodge the beams for the most part. Now to take out these guards and to continue her escape to freedom. Her arm extended back and in one full swing Vega's fist made contact with the armored soldier's helm. While her other free hand took hold of his bulky armored arm, forced him to aim it at his partner and pull the trigger.
No more time to waste.
Vega could not afford to waste any more time. She would take the rifle by force, jerking it out of the soldier's hand that she had hammered in the face.
" Thanks." Vega nodded, taking the right route her pace rather rushed.

The two SPECTREs were caught off guard by Vega's quick reaction, and her closing the gap so quickly made it more difficult to fire a second volley. The soldier on the right saw her charge and braced to intercept her, underestimating the strength of force behind her movements. While she attempts to grapple him, he knees Vega's midsection as a hardened metal bit lands on her body somewhere between her abdomen and waist. The punch to the helmet leaves the soldier stunned: the guards on the SPECTRE base were less armored and equipped for live combat than the field units.
A searing beam of heat is emitted from the weapon, the raw heat causing sweating and discomfort for Vega: there was a reason why SPECTRES were heavily armored after all. The heat emitted from these weapons made standard setups for soldiers incompatible. Most soldiers would burn themselves and wound themselves making the raw power of the weapon pointless.
Heat energy fires into the other, causing a hole through and through the chest cavity of the second SPECTRE. Surprisingly little blood would come out of the wound, though that along with a blue substance splatters. The soldier falls to the ground.
The second SPECTRE, having been disarmed and dazed by Vega, recovers his senses with a few moments. As Vega makes her way away from the scene of combat, the intact SPECTRE throws a grenade at her while radioing in. The alarm klaxons would go off again, calling for a 'Class IV Elimination Routine'.
As Vega made her way down the corridor, she would come into a large room surrounded by thick, glass panels to either side. Sealed doors would be present in the middle of the corridor to either side, with ventilation shafts spaced through the area. Large tubes containing a translucent blue fluid would be seen. Within some of them, human bodies hooked up to various life support machines could be seen. Many of the bodies are wounded, amputated or otherwise flawed or abnormal. These were the SPECTRE 'Candidates' that were being stored here until conversion.
Blood spatters could be seen on a operating tables on either side of the rooms, along with mechanical components and computerized systems. An incinerator was also prominently positioned along the north wall.
As Vega would likely stop and look at her surroundings, she would feel an abnormal presence creeping into her mind. A whisper would resonate through her core, speaking directly to her mind.
"You only delay your fate reject...submit to your betters."
The sounds of machinery and footsteps would harken the approach of a larger contingent of soldiers. Vega would have barely a minute in the area before five soldiers take firing positions from the entrance Vega came from. They begin to open fire on Vega, several aiming high and others aiming low intending to overwhelm her with beam shots.
At the far end of the corridor, a room marked [OFF LIMITS: CLASS VI PROJECT CONTAINMENT. NO UNAUTHORIZED PERSONNEL] would be alit in a digital indicator.

Blood speckled Vega's knuckles where she had decked the SPECTRE guard in the head. The flesh torn, irritated, and now throbbing in a dull pain. It wouldn't be long before her entire hand would go numb, leaving only the memory of the heat that came from the rifle she had just fired. Black eyes traced down the new weapon she had required with a bit of concern. The heat and power that this gun produced was far more than what she had anticipated. Which meant she needed to be more careful next time she counters another guard. After all brute force wasn't enough to successfully knock out just one of these SPECTRE guards.
The back of her cafes burned as she ran, not wishing to stick around any longer than she had to in this twisted hell hole. If she had done better calculations, then the guard would of been dead or at least knocked out. However, that wasn't the case and instead as she ran with rifle in hand, her ears pick up a sound of something metal hitting the floor behind her. Before Vega could even turn around to inspect what had been thrown, the grenade had already gone off. Thankfully, she was too far ahead to suffer the major consequences of a grenade going off. Small bits of metal and shrapnel were the only things that seemed to make contact with the back of her arms and legs. Painful, but bearable for the moment.
When Vega entered the larger room she froze in shock and disgust. Here before her was another flash back from the past. Except this time, it wasn't her in the test tubes. Memories flooded back to her skull of the years she had been a GEF soldier. The testing, blood, and betrayal. All came flooding back at once, even when the voice went off in her head. Vega gritted her teeth looking up at the ventilation shafts.
" I might be a reject, but I will never submit to you."
Even when the guards approached, Vega took what precious time she had to run up to the first holding tube. With two drawn back punches Vega broke the glass open, fluid gushing out onto the floor. Pulling the deformed human from the tube and using him as a human meat shield as she backed her way to the far end of the room. The beams from their rifle's firing off around her only lightly grazed her arms and legs. The pain now becoming more apparent as she used the body to catch most of the blows. She even used her free arm to fire off the rifle she had stolen, taking aim at the guards while doing best to avoid the beams as much as possible before quickly opening the the marked door. When she opened the door she immediately went into survival mode and went on guard. There she Held the body up in front of her while poking the rifle out through one of the open hole wounds. Ready for anything else that would happen.

The literal meatshield would absorb the brunt of the attacks, but the meat would spatter and Vega would be covered in more gore as she made her way back to dodge the various attacks. The soldiers held their position and didn't advance to stop Vega's entry into the restricted area ahead. The number of shots fired by Vega would leave her hand seared and burned from the extreme heat output.
What she saw once she entered the room however...
In a glass tube, she would see the remains of Scorpio. What was destroyed in the battle was replaced by mechanical bits and pieces. Heavy metal plating would cover even the organic bits now, and the blood and pieces of the exoskeleton in the casing would reveal that attention to the body's well being was secondary at times. What she saw before her was a true Frankenstien-esque monstrosity, but it was for the moment inactive.
"You've found my latest work. I believe in taking the enemy's strength and making it your own. While not practical for the day to day use on normal units, this living tank will be the core of my forces...why don't you meet it..." the voice whispers to her once more.
The eyes of the Scorpio in the tank alight a lifeless, yellow glow. A metal claw pounds at the glass once, before it shatters giving way to it's own freedom. The creature made it's way toward Vega, it's hands held out as several barrels project from the forearms. Blue energy that could be seen down the steel pipes indicated the imminent attack.
Vega would also feel one thing: sheer, overwhelming force brought against her. The voice begins to cackle arrogantly within her mind, potentially breaking her concentration as the Scorpio monstrosity begins to open fire at her. Blue pulses of energy fixated on her intend to vaporize her on the spot. After the shot however, the corpse machine groans and sparks fly off indicating some sort of a malfunction.
In the room, there are various ventilation shafts and computer systems along with medical supplies in various cabinets. Two doors one leading right and the other left would be present. The one on the left would require force or hacking to access due to a computer lock, while the right was readily open.
The SPECTRES could be heard outside, but they didn't come in. Their role was to keep her within the confines of the current room.
