A fire appears to have broken out at the famous Hikawa Jinja shrine around 2pm today. When responders arrived at the scene the fire was already out, but some damage was cause to a few buildings as well as forested area. However, many locals have decided to help repair the damages to the shrine. Currently, social media under the name #HelpHikawa is rounding up restoration project for the shrine this Saturday.
