Amarissa had gone home and redressed into a blue, black, white plaid skirt and matching blue turtleneck. Throwing on her white tennis shoes and some matching blue leg warmers, she grabbed Luna and headed over to Sophia's house.

It took her a little while to find it, after finally getting on base. She parked her mom's car on the curb and went to ring the doorbell, the black cat wrapped safely in her arms.

This part of the military base was quite a bit different from Tokyo. Houses would be more in the American style than Japanese. It wasn’t thing incredibly large, especially compared to Valdis' mansion. A single family type home comfortable enough for two adults and their two children, and possibly a pet or two. Sophia perks up from the couch in the living room at the sound of the doorbell. This had been the first time in a while that she elected to stay home. It’s probably something that didn’t go too unnoticed by her parents, but her dad complained about it not being safe to go out all the time, didn’t he? She told Artemis that the two would be arriving, but more than likely, he was perched on her window asleep again. She’d poke him awake once she let the two inside. Sophia answers the door in a green dress with quarter length sleeves and stops just above the knee as well as brown leggings and boots. “Glad to have you both over. Artemis probably fell asleep, but I’m sure he has no problem being roused from dreamland since you guys are over.” She opens the door for Ama to enter the house. She then leads the way toward her room, where she scratches the white cat’s head in an effort to wake him up before just scooping him up. “So last time I did I was with David, Val, and Artemis, and opened up a kind of portal. However, it appears that I can only bring other senshi and guardians through since Val wasn’t able to use that the portal. The decor is a little extravagant, but the weather is pretty nice there.” Her golden pendant shines a little before opening up a portal to a castle. “This thing normally takes me just outside of the castle. And if you see a pixie that kind of looks like me, her name is Aglaea. She has some details about the former senshi and guardians, so she's been a good resource.” She steps in the portal with Artemis in her arms and waits for Ama and Luna to follow through. .

The car ride for Luna had been disorienting. Being in a vehicle was not a sensation that the black mau was familiar with, and quite comically she would bob her head and seem just a little queasy from the motion sickness. When she finally got out of the car, she was quite content to be carried, when she buried her head in the elbow of Amarissa's sleeve.

"Why do you people like these things so much?" Luna bemoaned.

As the Moon Senshi and moon named mau enter the house, she looks around for the white mau, almost dropping a bubble of sweat when Sophia had mentioned that Artemis would probably be asleep. That was so like him.

"I am awake...now.." Artemis says yawning and arching his back in a way only a cat could with his back turning to a smooth, curved angle. Before Sophia made the portal, the white mau looked up at the Venus Senshi with discerning eyes.

"So why are we going to Magellan Castle again? At this rate you should just move in permanently, heheh" Artemis says with some humor, that which Luna half way wanted to swipe him for.

Amarissa never answered Luna, leaving the question rhetorical. She smiled as Sophia invited them in. "Thanks, this is exciting. I've never been to another planet. It's a shame Val couldn't go," she said, her voice calm despite the obvious excitement on her face. "Decor doesn't really matter, but I"m sure it's gorgeous," she continued, giving Sophia an odd look at the mention of the pixie. "A pixie? Really? Maybe I can ask her about that weird vision or whatever it was I had..." Amarissa asked, mumbling the last part more to herself and referring to the image of the woman in white from her room.

Shaking her head, she quickly steps forward with Luna in her arms and follows Sophia through the portal.

“Well, I thought you might want to spend time with the only other mau cat, but we could always leave you behind,” Sophia teases. Thinking a bit more on the idea of a permanent move-in, she adds, “I’d think my family would notice if I suddenly stopped living with them. I wouldn’t even have an address to give them. Just contact me at the plant Venus… that would go over well. But… I don’t see why I wouldn’t eventually. I do want to see this place the way it used to be. And it’s not hard for me to dart between here and Earth.” The giant castle made of yellow and white stone was an architectural marvel. However, while beautiful, she did find it a bit much for her tastes at time. She looks at the water fountain with the statue of the former sailor senshi. She is so glad that she didn’t fall into that thing again… “Just follow me across the courtyard. Even if she doesn’t have the answer, there was a study and kind of computer to look stuff up on. However, I can’t make heads or tails of the language on the thing right now.” She holds the door open to the castle for Ama and the cats, while calling “Aglaea. Are you around?” It seemed silly to ask that though. As far as Sophia could tell, the power guardian couldn’t leave. .

The pair of cats ended up being whisked away. Luna, whom had not yet seen Magellan Castle marveled at the structure overhead, the mau having admittedly forgotten for a time that the senshi each had their own castle, though that left the question of what Moon would have. Would Sailor Moon have a new castle made when her position manifested, or none? Would she have an influence on the old Moon Palace? It was hard to say as far as the black mau knew.

"It's beautiful...I hadn't seen such a sight before." the black mau marveled.

Artemis in the meantime crept off, having thought he saw something in the bushes. He approaches with cat-like tendency, laying low to the ground and wiggling his tail as he stalked what was in the bush. As he approached a hedge, it jostled just a little, causing the white mau to leap forward and into it!

...Before anyone knew it, they would see Artemis clinging for life on a small gold and white colored 'robot' of sorts, that was erratically running around, trying to get the cat off it by moving rapidly in figure eights. Artemis howled, meowed, and cursed the whole way until finally he is cast away from the accursed thing and rolls along the stone in a daze.

Aglaea manifests shortly after, looking at Sophia and her guest appears, along with the retreating machine into a crevice in the wall. A bubble of sweat could be seen going down the side of the power guardian's head.

"...I see the honored mau has discovered the maintenance units..." she says with a slightly deadpan expression, then looking up and at Sophia.

"Welcome Lady Venus" she says with a warmer smile, looking to Amarissa and the Black Mau. "I assume your companion is a senshi? I can also assume that this is Luna, I have heard much about your wisdom!" Aglaea says excitedly, hovering in front of the black mau which caused the cat to back up a step with a deadpan expression.

Amarissa stood staring at the large, majestic structure. She'd never seen anything like it and the surrounding garden was just as beautiful. "Wow, Sophia. This place is beautiful," she says softly, awe making her voice low. She listens as the other senshi teases the cat and talked idly about moving here, content to just take in the sights for a moment.

The moon senshi nodded as Sophia directed her to cross the courtyard, informing her about a study in the main castle. She considered that for a moment. "Well, maybe Luna or Artemis could read the language?" she half asked, half suggested, shrugging as she did so. As they walked, Amarissa noticed the white cat on the hunt for something in the bush. She smiled and shook her head at his silly antics. Then suddenly a weird machine came out of the bush and the cat was whisked away, bouncing all over the stone work and Amarissa really couldn't help herself. She burst out laughing, such as the other three had never heard from her quiet self before.

Finally, the white cat was dumped off and she bent to pat his head in a comforting gesture until the small sprite that Sophia mentioned appeared. She bowed slightly, smiling at the tiny greetings. "Yes, I'm the Moon Senshi, Amarissa," she answered, briefly introducing herself. She giggled a bit again at the sprite's excitement over Luna. Though she had to admit, Luna did seem wiser and more mature than her white counterpart.

Sophia nods as both Luna and Amarissa look at the castle in amazement. “Yeah, whoever the old Venus senshi was did have an eye for design. And yeah, we could take a look at the computer.” However, the silence of the place was beginning to bug Sophia more and more, especially after being told about how the place used to be. For her, this palace needed people to really thrive. Artemis finding the robot breaks her thoughts, and she finds herself laughing a little. She walks over and looks at the robot as Aglaea, “And I was worried you did everything yourself. It’s kind of cute though. Do we have a ton of these guys?” She almost wanted to name the robot as well, but it seemed to lack the sentience to understand a name. She looks over to Artemis as Aglaea goes excitedly over to Luna. Poor Artemis, getting ignored for the other mau. He seemed plenty wise and smart to her. He just had a tendency to get into trouble. Walking over to him and picking him up again, she says, “Well, I still appreciate you.” Turing back to the group, she says, “Yep. This place finally has guests again after… well, too long. Is there any place or anything you would like to see? And Aglaea could try to interpret your dream now that she is here.” .

"The computer? Certainly, I can help you interface with the central archive should there be something you need to know, though I fear that whatever we have here may potentially be lacking. During the golden era, the central archive in the Moon Kingdom had the highest data priority, and Lady Venus and the staff usually kept data relevant to the interests of Venus here." Aglaea says cheerfully, hovering about.

When Amarissa introduced herself as the Moon Senshi, she tilted her head with a puzzled expression on her face.

"A senshi of the Earth's Moon? That is unknown to me, but I believe it would make sense that in the absence of the royal family, the latent energy of that Moon would find a host in a worthy guardian to defend at least until the successor of Selenity manifests." she says.

The scene with Artemis running about and crashing made the power guardian smile, but she wasn't obviously mirthful. As Sophia inquired about the machines, she nods.

"There are sixty-five operational maintenance units with eleven damaged or decommissioned. They generally keep out of sight, but a rather strong Venusian wind caused minor damage just before you got here, and the machines were finishing up when the esteemed Artemis discovered it.

Aglaea tilts her head, looking at Amarissa expectantly when she mentions that there was a dream that needed interpreting.



Meanwhile Luna watched while Artmeis was picked up and treated like a common cat, which the black mau bubbled a little about. Artemis always had a lazy streak, and it didn't exactly surprise Luna that he would take advantage of Sophia's extreme kindness and act like a normal cat at times. Luna sits for a moment, not having any input while Artemis enjoys the TLC from Sophia's gentle hands.

Amarissa nodded when the tiny guardian explained about the computers. "That makes sense," she said. She let her eyes wander over the beautiful landscape while Aglaea answered the questions regarding the maintenance units. When she was done and inclined to listen, Amarissa explained her 'dream' in as much detail as she could remember.

"I don't think it was a dream. It was after a battle, I had taken Luna home and we were sitting in my room talking. This woman appeared, like a ghost almost. She was beautiful, in a grey gown with long silver hair like mine. Which is how she got confused, I guess, because she said to me 'You've developed so nicely my daughter.' After a moment of her staring at me and both Luna and myself trying to figure out what was going on, she says 'I'm proud of you, use this gift wisely.' Soon after that, my head felt strange and that was when I learned to teleport and increase the range of my purification," she finished, looking slightly defensive and sheepish at the same time. The moon senshi obviously was worried they would her crazy for such talk of ghosts that Luna couldn't see.

“Huh. Sixty five and I didn’t notice any of them when I was there before,” Sophia says, looking around for more machines. She feels somewhat oblivious now. However, it was a large place with a lot of things. There was definitely more to be discovered about it.

The dream that Ama describes is odd. With the way Ama describes and the effects that it had, it seems less likely a groggy mind and more like a memory or an apparition. Sophia isn’t sure how she would react if the same thing were to happen to her. “Memories from a past life?” she suggests. “Wasn’t it mentioned that people from the Moon Kingdom were reincarnated? Maybe you are one of the people from the past. Have any odd memories that don’t seem like yours?” She shrugs, "Or it could be a ghost instead of a memory. In which case, maybe we should bother Nazo. After all, he has king of the underworld type powers..."

"They only activate when there is something to do. When Magellan Castle had been dormant for so long, there was no reason for anything aside from the very rare meteorite impact causing minor damage during moments it can penetrate the normal shield. Prior to Lady Venus' return, the shield was kept at a minimal strength to conserve energy." she says calmly with a slight smile. "The drones are very good at activating only when needed and staying concealed otherwise."

As Amarissa explained the dream, Aglaea had a thoughtful quiet look for a moment. Her expression changes to one of deep intent and staring at Amarissa, then Sophia, then to the two mau cats before she then laughs softly with an uncertain expression upon her pixie face.

"I don't know much about Selenity, but from what I remember she treated everyone like one of her children, such that some people compared her to a benevolent goddess though she would never think of herself as such. I don't think a blood successor would be possible for any literal sense since her one daughter was killed and there are no other known descendants." she says calmly.

Amarissa wasn't interested in the drones and merely nodded as the tiny guardian explained about them. She notes the odd expression on the pixie's face as she begins to offer her opinion on the 'dream'. "Selenity the Queen? Why would she want to talk to me or know about me at all?" she asked, puzzled more than ever. "Perhaps it's not important. I'd love to see more of your castle, Sophia," she continued, looking again at the massive structure. "We're on Venus? How come normal humans don't see this with space equipment or whatnot?" she questioned.

It appears Sophia’s power guardian was as clueless as she was on the matter. “Well, it seems like she cares about you a lot. You can’t say that you aren’t curious.” If someone had sought her out like that, she would desperately want to know why. “But I guess there isn’t much we can do to get a good answer right now. Unless anyone else has any other suggestions.”

Starting to move toward the castle entrance, she says, “There isn’t any reason. We can’t continue to walk and talk. I’ve only been to three rooms in this place though, so I’m not the best tour guide. Let’s see… the throne room is in the back of the hall, and the library is which door again?”

Stopping at the door, she gives a look to Aglaea as Ama asks a really good question. Why weren’t scientists on Earth studying this place? “Yeah, that is weird now that I think about it.”

"Who knows, maybe it's because you are a Moon Senshi that you are able to commune with her." Aglaea postulates. "There are some similarities between what I can tell from you and the royal family, but there are differences as well. It is less refined, for lack of a better term. Perhaps if you can reach the Lunar Palace, then you can find more answers there at the last place Selenity was alive." Aglaea says for a moment before she looks at Sophia and smiles at the question of how the castle hasn't been observed.

"The castles of the senshi are easily able to be concealed for their own protection. They are surrounded within a bubble of planetary energy that makes them blend into their respective planet from the outside view. It wouldn't do well if modern people became aware of a palace prematurely and they found a way to destroy it. It would cripple a senshi's power." Aglaea explains calmly.

"The library is down the north wing hall, fourth door on the right." she says in response to the comment about the Library. "A lot of the rooms are more mundane like lavatories, dining rooms, servants' quarters...the standard you might expect." Aglaea says when the question of the rooms came up.

The library when they reached it would be a magnificent room, reaching to high ceilings with high bookshelves and projectors throughout operated by crystal and magic. The number of librams in the long room would number in the thousands, and was larger than a collegiate library in length width. A drone could be seen methodically dusting the books about the area.

"The Venus Depository has literature on many subjects, a verbal request will be able to be found easily by the drones, if you like." Aglaea says calmly hovering about and rising in height.
