Nazo sits atop the Tokyo Tower again.

While he wasn't using his invisibility trick, he had been sitting still long enough to the point where snow had accumulated and covered him, preventing his usual black attire from being noticeable on the otherwise icy and snowy tower. He looks through his mask boredly at the ground below.

"Solstice, you know, I should make this place my own, set up tiki lights and fake plants in the corner, maybe get a quote to see how much a kitchen installed would be. Wouldn't it be lovely?" he says, speaking to the small animal concealed within his armor and robes. He shuffles his hand a little, causing the slightest amount of snow to drift off from the top of the tower onto the ground below.

"Yeah...that particular raid hurt...having to call the Gate twice back to back..." he says with a slight sigh. "I guess ten hours of inactivity is enough to recharge to functioning...yes I feel those eyes of yours gazing on me, begging me to stop using that trick...it's fine." he says with a laugh.

"Saaa...still gotta keep softening them up, for the trial to come...it shall be a magnificent moment for humanity." he mutters wistfully, looking at the cloudy sky.

"There you are!" Shouts a an upbeat voice as a figure hops down from apparently out of nowhere and lands next to Nazo. After landing he turns to face the strange man. Kishin was dressed up back in his hoody with sweat pants. "Hey Nazo...I need you to warp me into the SPECTER base." Kishin says with a bright smile, though he appeared to have recently recovered from an ordeal...his discussion with his Senshi had not ended as serenely as he figured it would.

David scowled, pocketing the cellphone, and glancing to each side, walked away from the street corner of downtown. Hunching his shoulders as the cold bit into his joints, he knew that Kousuke wouldn't reach out to him if there wasn't a need for armed assault. He stopped by the shrine momentarily, picking up the Beowulf, at least six mags of ammo, and tucked the supplies into his black duffel.

The afternoon bus ride back to Juuban was... interesting. Thankfully, no one asked about the duffel, or looked at him. Departing the bus in the heart of the commercial district, David maneuvered through the crowded streets, clutching the strap to the duffel in his dominant hand. Where would the knight likely meet him?

There was another issue, though. Peering into the glass display windows of the packed retail stores, the young man could have sworn people were following him. Ducking into a cafe for a moment, he waited for the men to pass, purchasing a newspaper and a simple black coffee to go. Maybe lingering temporarily in the cafe would be the best idea.

"Oh, well this is an interesting turn.." Nazo states as he stands up in response to Kishin's entrance, the powdery snow falling off his form as he rises to his height. The observant eye might note some dried blood and bits and pieces of the armor. He chuckles slightly, under the mask as Kishin makes a request to be ported to the SPECTRE base.

"SPECTRE...what was that again...oh...the robotic man hybrid soldier things...unfortunately, I cannot directly take you into that location. The base that you want is unnatural, and direct teleportation would likely result in negative consequences, death being one of them." he says with a slight laugh.

"May I ask what you would hope to accomplish? I imagine there's a reason behind wanting to go after the military...and I had to depart quite quickly after I showed up at the harbor."

"So no quick escape or entrance huh? Well then I might need a backup plan...hmmm...Well I suppose I could deal with a messed up limb if it really came down to it as long as it was my left arm." He mumbles to himself and then shakes his head. "Anyways, Moon's dad was one of them and he got dragged back. I don't really know what those are but he certainly didn't seem to pleased about his present state." Kousuke explains as it sits perched beside the cloaked figure.

"And of course my plan is to go in and get him out. After all I am a hero and most importantly I'm a Knight of the Senshi and the last thing I'm gonna do it let Moon stay worried about something I can fix. I'll also have the nice bonus of having someone to explain what the hell those things are." Kishin points out as he looks at Nazo through both of their masks.

The threat of counterintelligence gone, David left the cafe, and glancing down at his phone again for the map, noticed it was only a few blocks away. The trip was hardly more than five minutes, dodging traffic on foot and ducking behind the alley to-

Yinko frowned, seeing the same masked man from before... Nazo, wasn't it? Tilting his head at Kousuke, then back to Nazo, then back to Kousuke, the former Marine cadet started to unzip the duffel, bracing himself. This didn't look promising, not at all.

"Gentlemen," he started, glancing back and forth between them. "Is this really the place to have a conversation like this, out in the open?"

"Well, I see...I suppose there are some good reasons for pursuing that course of action!" Nazo says with an uncharacteristically light chuckle. Perhaps there was amusement at the prospect that Kousuke might be trying to gain favor with Moon her, or perhaps it's the powerful hero complex that Kishin seemed to have.

"Very well, but I do warn you that this will start a painful endeavor. I've seen a vision of what this will instigate, and I am not convinced the team is yet ready to hit the...how do you say...hornet's nest?" he says, his tone taken to seriousness. "I can sense the soul in question, now that you identify it...an affinity to Moon Senshi's spirit, but not fully normal. A soul in the twilight between life and death, lingering to this world as an abomination, at least relative to what is considered normal. We will have to attack some soldiers to liberate him, I hope you would be ready for this but consider once more the impact it may have on the collective group. The wounded machine man is being carried off to another location and on the road right now, an armored convoy going through a derelict district to avoid attention from the populace. Fortunately that works to our advantage if we have to raid them." Nazo says as he holds his hand up, manifesting his weapon.

As David approaches, Nazo turns to his direction and nods in greeting.

"Short version: Earth Knight wants to ambush a military convoy to rescue a wounded father of a senshi who was turned into a robotic freak. You in?" he says perhaps too casually as he then taps the air. A thud could be heard as taps something invisible, before a rift pops open in space time, showing a blurred image of a rooftop.

"Oh and going through with this is likely to piss off a few bad guys, for better or for worse." he says, stepping through and leaving the decision to enter and act on the other two knights.

On the other side, the area was one of the abandoned warehouse districts. Few were in operation and fewer people would go in this area for fear of a number of dangers. A heavily armored vehicle with several other JSDF transport vehicles, two with mounted machine gun turrets would proceed at a steady but relatively slow pace. All in all, there would be six vehicles and a substantial number of soldiers involved.

Kousuke smiles as it seems that Nazo more or less got where he was going with this. Well being simple was one of Kousuke's strong points, or at least it was in his opinion. "Well then there's one more thing I need to mention before be go off on this suicide mission." Kousuke says with a board grin.

"No killing, it's not monsters we're fighting this time so we go in, grab the guy get, and get out. We're the good guys after all so leaving a field of corpses is hardly the foot we want to leave on." he points out and then he prepares. The knight's muscles tense, he had been practicing his powers for times like this, times when only a hero could act...well even if this was probably a bad idea in the end Kousuke had promised to become Ama's hero so he could hardly ignore this situation.

"Would it help if we wore additional masks?" He asked Nazo in a sudden change of pace that made him seem kinda ADD.

"No killing?" Yinko blinked in surprise. "Kousuke, are you out of your mind? They're not going to hesitate to kill us! You don't tie your hands behind your back against people like that, not against a military convoy!" Frowning, the young man considered what Kousuke was asking. No, this was a stupid idea. Turning away from the two, David stared up at the sky, trying to consider the logistics involved, the opposing force, and the potential casualties.

"Your best bet is to use some IED's to take out the lead and tailing vehicles of the convoy, boxing the infantry in, and gun them down one by one to limit your exposure to the SAW and Ma' Deuce gunners. It will be a slow, tedious process regardless what you bring to the table, and if we're dealing with MRAPS and Bradleys in the convoy... we're going to need a very, VERY big boom. I guess fire could also work... Soldiers can't shoot back so well when they're all flamey and melty."

There was, of course, another idea that was working into Yinko's brain, a strategy that could, if they played up the fear factor, work well enough. But he couldn't remember Archer's powers, or exactly recall what Nazo could bring to the table.

"What do we have to work with?"

"Not really...unless you really insist on it." Nazo says in response to the comment about the masks. When Yinko pointed out that it was foolish to avoid killing, which conflicted with Kousuke's declaration that there is to be no killing the enigmatic knight shrugs.

"A human life is the growth and development of however many years of life they had. The education, family experiences, impacts on the world, all of these add up to what is considered a soul. A person. That sadly can be ended with but a single swipe of a blade." Nazo says tilting his scythe back and forth slightly.

"Of course, there are times when killing is the only option, but remember something: we have our planetary powers." Nazo says with a slight chuckle. "A little showmanship and trauma can spare lives this day. Rocky, create Earthen walls around them when I stop them to give them the feeling of being trapped. This is purely for psychological impact, and you shall see where I am going with this shortly. Warlord, the one in the center has our objective in question. I believe you are familiar enough with infiltration, lockpicking, and other related skills coupled with your Venusian light bending able to access our target, yes?" he says, gesturing towards the more heavily armored vehicle in the center.

"I will grant you both a blessing of time, hastening your actions from Pluto's energy. Further, if you have any mental protection abilities, prepare to use them. I'm afraid that to successfully make them go away without killing them, I will have to invoke my fear control on a level that I can't keep from you completely." he says with a slight chuckle. He snaps his fingers, and an energy would surround both Kousuke and David granting them increased supernatural speed and agility.

"And with that, I go..." he says, disappearing in a blur.

On the ground, Nazo would stand in front of the lead vehicle suddenly. Glowing can be seen where his eyes would be on his mask as he holds his scythe up like a flag defiantly as the lead vehicle begins to slow down. Eight men hop off the sides of the vehicle with assault rifles raised. The lead man begins to shout.

"You there! Stand down. This is a JSDF Order!" he says as the group approaches Nazo. A slight chuckle comes from the mask before a green aura is released from his body. A haze fills the area as profound sensations of fear begin to emit from him.

"...You have offended the will of the gods!" Nazo boasts as he slams the butt of his scythe against the road. A crack manifests and the area around begins to rumble as a large green blur manifests behind Nazo. "I am Death...come to bring the unworthy to my domain..." he says as he approaches the small group of men. The sensation of fear begins to intensify, as two of the men drop their rifles and begin to panic, fleeing away from the area down a side road easily showing who the weakest minded were.

The other soldiers were nervous, but Nazo was drawing all the attention to himself right now. More of the soldiers approach him while a few begin to flee for their lives.

Both David and Kousuke would feel a supernatural sense of fear around them. Should their concentration or will falters they will be assailed by a horrific manifestation of their greatest fear in their perception. It would look real enough to them but be invisible to others being merely a ghost of their own mind.

The area around the protected vehicle in the center begins to clear, but a handful of soldiers haven't moved to the front or fled for their lives yet. Nervousness and anxiety were incredibly obvious however.

When Yinko goes off on him Kousuke frowns and begins stepping off the building. "Yinko, even if we need to go after the enemy they are just people trying to do their job. I have not killed the military in any of our previous run ins and I don't really want to now. The superpowers don't come cheap, though I suppose if you want to do it your way, just wait until we fail."

His foot stops as Yinko asks him what they have to work with. "I've got basically 3 relevant powers, I can summon rocks, throw a javelin that will peirce anything and I have enchanced physcial capabilities. If it comes down to it I can probably lift the convoy for a short while." he admits though as Nazo shares his plan Kou shrugs, sounds as good as anything he thought of.

He dropped off the building.

Nazo didn't seem to have a great understanding of Kousuke's power set, but with the furthur enchanced speed on top of Kousuke's already incredibly agility and speed augmented by his Earthen Blessing he kicks off the building and sores high into the sky. He closes his eyes and enjoys the feeling like flight as he begins to descend towards the ground.

He creates two large boulders and hurls them at the ground in front of and behind the caravan so it cannot move, careful not to hit the soldiers, though the impact might knock them off their feet. However as his grin widens and he is suddenly hit by Nazo's emotion control a voice seems to speak to him.

What kind of fool are you? You are bound to the earth, soaring through the air was never your privilege now your going to fall and die like the idiot you are. The change was sudden and jarring, Kousuke stared at the oncoming ground eyes widening as he begins to freeze up. Reflexively his mantra ran through his mind.

I am the ace, the ace has to be invincible, the ace must remain standing no matter how bad it looks they must be a symbol. The familiar mantra helps to fight back the fear as Kousuke's emotional control also activates. Hope slams into those around him like a physical force, Kou may not be very resistant to emotional control, but he was very strong when it came to exerting his.

He lands with a crash and as golden light streams from his body he sprints to the back of the caravan and tears the door from the hinges.

Both Nazo and Archer were, well, okay, strictly Archer was dead set against the whole death thing. Sighing, David glanced back at the column of soldiers, then to the others. Alright, he could do this. He had powers, right? Certainly he could turn a few guys' brains to mush without killing them. Paralysis wasn't death, so Kousuke wouldn't be all bent out of shape.

"Fine, okay..." Yinko growled, stalking off towards a dark corner of the alley.

As the ambush started, the young man snatched up the Venusian knife, uttering the oath as he disappeared into the shadows of the dark alley. Kousuke was quickly working through the group of fleeing soldiers, then to the remnants, while Nazo stood out as bait.

"Cloak," the dark knight of Venus whispered, stalking out into the mass of flailing bodies. Pushing past those who retreated, focusing his mind on the invisibility technique, he could feel something else trying to push its way past his defenses. It was minor, almost insignificant, though he would have to take an aspirin later for the tension headache.

Then, the closer he came, the sensations intensified. He could make out odd auras in the corners of his eyes, flickers of white hues stirring, reaching out to embrace him. He ignored their influence as best he could. Maybe two aspirin would do it.

Reaching the group of men surrounding the central MRAP, Yinko raised his arm, still cloaked in the invisible field of thought, pointed at the leader, and whispered the simple phrase, "Synapse Shadow!" Focusing all his effort, the cloaking effect faded and shimmered in spots, revealing fragments of his form while his mind worked into the soldiers' nervous system.

It was a simple attack, but effective. He went for the optic nerve, and simply tried to shut it off.

The Sergent near where Yinko infiltrated blinks, then drops his weapon and stares at his outstretched hands. He feels around as if trying to find something before he shouts in a panicked voice, much to what Yinko would likely expect.

"I'm blind! Kami...KAMI!!!!!!!! That monster stole my sight!" he shouts, flailing about and losing all composure as a man in charge falling rapidly to panic as he tries to feel around. Then the fear aura kicks up and sets the man off to an even greater extent as he runs headfirst into the side of the vehicle and falls over unconscious with a non-lethal gash.

The rocks blocking off the caravan would add to the fear factor. The mass of energy behind Nazo manifests as a large, floating gate. A large metal skull is prominent in the middle of the plate, the part in the center to allow for opening. Hundreds of thick chains would surround the gate, and the gate crashed and smashed as if something inside was trying to break out. Green fire would line the edges of said gate that spoke only one thing.

A gate to hell.

Nazo walks forward as the wind around him picks up. Spirits begin to manifest and pursue the soldiers. At this point even the bravest of men begin to panic and turn tail to run between the sensation of being trapped, the fear aura, and the ominous gateway that appeared out of nowhere. JSDF guards begin to run down any accessible alley or broken window, hell they even break windows that aren't broken to get away from the embodiment of death around them.


In fairly short order, the area clears aside from the unconscious trooper on the ground near David. He would hold a keycard that allowed access to the back of the vehicle. Upon opening of said vehicle, they would see what appeared to be half man, half machine strapped to the back. His right arm is missing, with a bloodied metal cap forming a way to keep the leaking of blood contained. Sedatives could be seen going into the man's neck, and a faint resemblance to Amarissa might be noticed to the observant between some key facial features.

There would be five minutes of quiet before a powerful presence manifests in the area. At the top of a building, anyone who looked would see a man sized entity with a skull for a face. He wore a black trenchcoat, the expression on the visage would be a cocky smile, the eye sockets obscured by a stylish, black hat. He makes no obvious move, perhaps waiting to see what those below would do.

No time to waste, as the door opened the golden crystal activated and the Earth Knight began to glow with a golden light. He leaps inside of the van and picks up the injured man. He could only think of one way to deal with this situation and he immediately began to sprint at full speed away from the convoy and towards the park where Scorpio had killed him.

"Nazo can you teleport me to the park near the art gallery?" He asks, but does not way for a reply, if it was going to happen it'd happen and Kousuke couldn't wait. There was too much going on, and if he stopped to think about it he might actually begin contemplating the decision he had made to reach this point.

Kousuke would be long gone before 5 minutes passed and as he reached the park and saw the tree that was also him he focused his power. Using the golden crystal as a key and the tree as a door he opened up a door to the golden kingdom and dumped the man inside leaving a large burst of his energy to activate the healing effects the tree had had on him.

When this is all over he stops. Panting he looks around and slides to the ground. He had used a tremendous amount of energy to do all of this, he felt like he had just finished fighting 3 Scorpios on his own and he slid to the ground with his back against the tree looking up at the sky and waiting to see what came next. He had been so caught up in the moment he hadn't even stopped to check if the others were with him, or even if Nazo actually had teleported him.

David stared at Archer as the young man dematerialized, evaporating into the night. Left behind with Nazo and the sergeant, Yinko's dark eyes glowed their radioactive blue, peering down in disgust at the puny man beneath him. Coated head to toe in the protective, insulating black, the lithe tendril of a hand shot out, gripping the soldier by the throat, hauling him off the ground, suspending him in the air.

"You will to confess to everything," the serpent's hiss echoed, cutting into the man's brain like a rusty, gritty scalpel. The Dark Knight of Venus shook the man, hand clenched down on his throat, feet swaying underneath his dead weight. For the briefest of moments, the blue pinpricks of light stabbed into the sergeant's eyes, probing him for weaknesses. Then, without warning, Yinko hurled the figure into the back of the military ambulance, shutting and locking the doors after the satisfactory crash of the captive against the vehicle.

"Nazo," David boomed. "I'm taking him to the nearest tv station." A sly grin spread across the warlord's face. "We'll see how... compliant... the military becomes with this dirty laundry."
