Kail did not know where to take Amarissa but figured his home would be the safest place for her to recover. He gets to his house, shifts her around a bit and gets his keys out and gets in. Swiftly gets in and heard no one in the house and takes Ama to his room and gently places her on his bed. "I apologize in advance Ama, I don't know where you live personal. But I figured that you need a safe place to get a breather before trying to go home. I figured that my home would be safer location" he said and detransformed and pulled out a chair from his desk and just sat down. He looked tired from the shear emotional stress that was on his mind. As Valdis to him was dead as she fell into the icy water and even with magical powers the shock of the water would kill anyone. Or even the suction of the sinking ship dragging her down. None the less they lost a friend and a ally. He was trying to keep himself together in general since he knew Ama would be in a worse state then himself.

She didn't particularly care where he took her, and was only slightly surprised when they ended up at his house. She'd never spent much time with Killian, outside of battle and that one party at Valdis's house. Amarissa just nodded slowly at Killian as he explained his thinking. After he set her on the bed, she checked her phone which was buzzing in her pocket. "Kousuke's fine," she told Killian as she read the message. She sent him a quick text back to let him know that the mars knight had brought her to his house. She wasn't sure what had happened exactly with everyone else. "Maybe we should try and call some of the others..." she muttered, her voice falling flat. Thoughts of her dad, and the look he gave her, kept swirling in her head. "What did they do to him?" she asked.

Kail contemplates and sucks it up for now, since he had to put up a braver front. He then hears that Kousuke was alright "He will be fine, since Kaguya is with him. I doubt anyone wants to mess with either of them trying to make some light of what happened. He then gets a bit more serious as he did not know himself. "I don't know.....your father was not alive and not fully human. He looked liked like something a diaobolical mad scientist made in his laboratory. But he is in there...I want to find the twisted sod and exact some justice.....But I doubt you want to hear this kind of thing" he said and sighed and wanted a hard drink. He had saw Valdis die in front of him and it did not look that pretty. Sensing how things were gloomy Aiko hops on to the bed and moves over and nudges Amarissa for some petting feeling that the girl needed some cheering up.

"If I saw what you saw and felt.....I would want to cruel up into a ball and just try and say that was all a dream....But its real...look if we ever talk to the president or someone that high up. I will get some answers from them.....this is not right" Kail getting up and was heading to his door. "Can I get you anything right now...." he said knowing that Amarissa may have needed something to drink at least. "After what happened.....I need a stiff drink" he said in a honest tone.

Amarissa nodded. At least they knew Kaguya and Kousuke were ok. She listened as Killian explained what he saw. "They told us he died. We had the funeral and everything, but the body was never found. Or at least, that's what they let us think I guess. How could do they do this to people?," she wondered, not really expecting an answer.

She looked down as she felt the fox nudging her, reaching to pet the furry animal. "You know, I'd never seen a live fox before yours. She's sweet," Amarissa said, completely off topic. "I can't deny what I saw. I have to worry that whoever made him will discover my identity now. I have to think about what to say to Valdis's father next time I see him," she said, her voice suddenly stiff with anger. When Killian asked her if she wanted anything, she shook her head. "You can if you want. I don't blame you,"she answered.

Kail pauses for a few seconds and smiles slightly at Aiko's antics "Its a joy to have a pet that can sense the mood of everyone and turn it around a bit. But let me make you some tea at least. You are after all a guest inside my home so I will be right back. And Aiko stay with Ama ok" he said to her and then Aiko gave a look of her head that would have said I got you. As she was pretty happy getting petted by Amatissa. The fox layed in Amarissa lap and was not going to get up anytime soon. He goes to the kitchen and then after awhile Kail comes back up with a warm cup of tea for Amarissa and hands it to her. "......Let me speak to him for answers, I might be better equipped to get the answers out from him. Also it may take a while for them to get those records.....I delt heavy damage to him. I apologize...I don't want to bring any more bad thoughts " he said and looked a tad sheepish at the moment.

"I know that I have seemed that I have had something shoved up my arse. But well I have been trying to do what seems right in my mind. I guess I became the older brother for the group in some way" he said trying to break some ice with one of the few members he rarely interacted with in general.

Amarissa smiled at the fox, nodding as Killian insisted on tea at least. Now that he mentioned it, tea sounded quite good. She sat quietly while he was gone, simply taking everything in. "Thank you," she said after he had returned with the tea. Taking a sip, she sighed and her whole self seemed to relax a bit. She thought about his insistence on handling it, and nodded. "That would probably work better. I've never dealt with that sort of situation," she said, waving a hand in dismissal at his apology and adding "Don't think on it. I don't blame you. He was attacking you, at first, and neither of you knew who the other was."

She laughed at little at the half apology for seeming aloof. "It's alright, but I hadn't noticed any such thing. I'm a little closed off myself, after all. You just do what you have to to be able to deal with this," Amarissa finished quietly, her calm voice sounding older than it should.

Kail nods a bit and gets a sake dish and a bottle and pours it into the dish and puts the small bottle down on the desk. He then sips the potent wine and feels a warm sensation go through him. "Aye,....well I think we should have another meeting soon. I think we should at least set some goals on what we should do. Eventualy we might be strong enough to go into Covenant territory and start clearing them out. Plus at least have some kind of plan then just rushing in on the enemy. I like to have some kind of plan of action on the enemy" the redhead said and takes another sip from his sake dish. He tries to relax and put most of what is troubling his mind away. Kail thinks a bit more on the future with the group now as he had to plan now without Valdis helping them at all.

"When your ready to go home, I will call a cab for you as well as money for the fare. I might be too piastered to drive legaly. I don't want someone like your self getting attacked by some kind of loony out there" said Kail as he did want to look out for Amarissa at least. Since he wanted to make sure her well being was taken care of. He did honestly fear what Kousuke would do if something did happen to her while he was looking after her.

Amarissa considered Killian's words. "Yes, perhaps another meeting is in order. It's kind of hard to pre-make plans though. Each youma we've dealt with so far has been different and needed a different approach. However, grouping up and planning on the scene might work. Also, yes I agree that eventually we might be strong enough to take the fight to them, but today is not that day. It will be quite a while, I think, before we are ready for that," she adds, thoughtfully.

When he offered to call her a cab and pay for it, Amarissa shook her head. "No, thanks. I actually don't think you're too far from my house. This is Azabu Juuban district, right? I can simply walk from here," she said, laughing when he made mention of being attacked. "I helped take down Scorpio, I think I can handle a street loonie," she said, a rarely seen confidence suffusing her.
