“They could possibly use some medication. But you are right. Perhaps therapy. You can leave your business card with the bartender,” she jokes back. Awesome identification. She frowns as Peter mentions gloves and a hazmat suit. “I probably should, but if I ran to get that stuff, this guy would be gone. Sometimes, you need to take a few risks.  Actually, kind of surprised I'm not dead already.”

She sighs, staring at the ID and the dead guy, “I’m going to need a very large freezer.” She blinks as he gives her an address and keys to a car. “Ummm. Alright then.” She pockets the ID before kneeling beside the guy. With a deep breath, she heaves the body up, and carries it off to the car. “Have fun at the nest, I guess. If you find anything else of interest, could you put in the freezer next to this guy?”

The body gets placed gently in the trunk. Alright, drop him off… and… well, Peter wouldn’t mind if she took the car to one more location, probably. Just in and out of the cultist’s house. It’s not like the nest wouldn’t take most of their time.

The way Peter just literally gave his access and keys to his car to Taika made Kurio's brow raise slightly. He was an odd man such that he would give such things so openly. Either Taika and Peter had a much more developed relationship than Kurio knew, not that he would care, or Peter was just utterly insane from his magical abilities.

Never easy to understand this sort of thing...like ever.

Taika deciding to drag the body off compelled Kurio to pause and glance at her.

"Hold on...let's not cause a panic from passerby seeing you drag a bloody corpse away.."

He grabs a tarp in the alley and then when Taika halted, wraps the body in the tarp before picking up the corpse for her and following her to the car. Kurio actually had a decent side to him and felt it wasn't right to idle by and let women heave heavy objects around. Hopefully Taika wasn't one of those hyper feminists who would be offended by the gesture.

"I don't know what you're going to do with this thing, but since the bodies are usually handed over to the science department I don't think it's worth causing a big scene." he says as he sighs as Peter mentioned kicking in the nest.

"It's not necessary...I'll get my..." he starts before he facepalms.

"...drunk team. Damn it, they'll be useless." he says with a groan before he considers his options. "I'll go to scout it out before deciding what to do. You do realize that the military as a whole isn't exactly fond of vigilantes regardless of effectiveness. If this becomes a large scale op then it will be problematic if you are there."

With that Kurio heads to his motorcycle unless stopped. He will mount it then ride off to the location in question. When Peter goes inside, he will find that people are awake and that most of them even seemingly went back to their original activities, barely missing a beat.

“Give me a few moments, and I shall accompany you. We can breach it if your scouting indicates we should, and if it goes south, I will be on hand to provide support.”

He swept into the bar, not even bothering to drop the henshin. This feeling was amazing. But most of all, the sensation of being one with the Inquisitor... It resounded in his heart. He trembled with dark fervour, behind the mask, behind the armour. He was at long last whole. It was an easy task to retrieve his possessions, and scanning the room quickly, satisfied with the lack of permanent injuries.

He swept back out just as fast, leaving a fist full of decent denomination bills to pay for the damages, before taking off to catch back up to Kurio and accompany him as needed. "Onwards, to retribution." There was an unsettling calm to the man now, as if the manic energy had drained away. "They have drawn me into this war once more... I pity them. I had been willing to ignore both sides..."

“Umm… thanks, Kurio. But you’re on a time limit, and I’m a big girl,” Taika says, walking beside him as they carry the corpse to the car.

She stares at the body on the trunk, “Examine it for any visible differences from normal human anatomy. Then run a bunch of tests. Probably try to make more cDNA libraries.” She laughs, “But I don’t imagine you actually want me to list everything and the protocols associated with it.”

Shutting the trunk, she tells him, “Peter’s kind of crazy, but he’d be helpful to have with you. Crystals are a limited resource at the moment, so if there is any way that you can save them, do so. Also, if he dies, give me a call. I need to see to it that his body gets incinerated or chemically digested.”

Driving off to Peter’s house, she waves at Kurio before heading out of sight.
