The party is finally alive. Hearing each other over all the people and the music is very difficult at this point. Those closest to the speakers risk having their ears ringing the next day. The selection is mostly pop with some other genres thrown in occasionally.

There are some small problems here and there. But for the most part, things remain lighthearted. The DJ announces in between songs, “Remember your ticket stubs guys. We’ll be announcing raffle winners in some short time, but until then keep dancing.”

People continue to give a lot of room as he marches over as if on the warpath. Meanwhile, a few girls look at Setsumi with envious eyes. There are few murmurs here and there, but all out of range to hear.

Seriously, right when she had taken another bite of mellon did someone have to come up and talk. Setsumi's eyes widen as she gasped out of surprise, which caused her to nearly choke on the piece of lime green fruit. Thrown into a slight coughing fit, she struggled to maintain some sort of manner and decency. She even held up the all known hand sign of holding one finger up suggesting ' wait one minute ' as she finished her small coughing fit.

" Wow, sorry you caught me off guard. " Setsumi exhaled in some relief now that she had stopped coughing and not making a complete fool of herself. With a nervous smile she nodded at Kail's attempt to make conversation. " No, not really. I seem to have two left feet when it comes to dancing. " She laughed nervously, her tone rather honest at the two left feet comment. However, before she could say anything else David suddenly spoke up.

Her eyes blinking rapidly at David as he spoke towards Kail. Was there something she missed? Setsumi pondered, here eyes jumping back and forth from David to Kail However, the rapid eye dash didn't last long when David asked something about the tarot card reading. Strange she didn't remember giving him a reading? Unless he was talking about the cards that spilt out on the floor the day he decided to go gun crazy at her work place. With a raised brow she gave David a smile.

" Hello to you too David. It is a pleasure to see you again as well, of course! I would be glad to discuss the reading. Thank you for asking so politely. " Setsumi smiled, her tone a little coy. " What is it that you wanted to know? " Setsumi asked, her eyes widening when she notice he was reaching for something. OH god not again! Was he really going to pull out a gun or something here?! Is he going to pick a fight?! What to do! What to do! Setsumi slightly panicked, quickly picking up two plates and filling them slightly with different types of fruit.

" Here would you both like some fruit?!" Setsumi asked, holding out both plates of fruit to Kail and David. " Or do you not like fruit? " She paused, looking at both Kail and David with a concerned pouted expression.

Valdis walked back into the dance after the lovely affair outside, a large grin on her face. Hopefully that emotional scarring moment taught miss little mouse a lesson in walking off with older gentlemen. She walked in and immediately began bouncing to the music. She would drag Sophia along with her on the dance floor. Her eyes swept the dance floor as she motioned for Ama and Kaguya to join in as well. She eventually moved her way to the small group gathering in the corner…Aka her red headed Knight along with the skittish girl. When she reached them she had a large goofie grin on her face.

”What are we all chatting about, and glad to see you did come to the dance David. How about we all hit the dance floor. It is a dance after all...we can play spot the Nazo he’s graced us with his presence.”

Valdis eyebrows waggled. She then looked over at Kail her expression becoming serious.

”Kail does this dress make my boobs look big?”

She looked up at him with big innocent eyes, she could almost taste the tension in the air. Nothing diffused a situation like boobs. She looked over at Setsumi.

”Camera girl what do you think? Corset too much?”

"Er.....sorry I did not mean to spook you like that" said Kail as he felt bad that he caused her to nearly choke on something. So he did have a bit of guilt in a sense but it looked like things smoothed out. "Even though I got good footwork with kendo, but I can't transition half of it to dancing. Either way, like you I am trying not to step on anyone's toes" he said. He did reflect slightly on the aspect of sword dancers in a few cultures. But was side tracking and was going to speak up until his fury sense was tingeling. As a brooding David side swipes the conversation very rudely. Not even getting the time to introduce himself. Kail downs the rest of his soda in one gulp and assess the situation. He sees that the girl Setsumi was of some intrest to the dark haired male. Perhaps a crush in this sense but get a massive reaction like this?

Kail was going to leave but a subttle signs from Setsumi. Convinced him otherwise as she freaked out for a second as her stance changed and was looking at him and then a David. Then he eyes one of David's arms into a pocket. Was he that unbalanced to fight over a girl? Kail was fuming slightly at the fact that he was just trying to make a friend over some casual conversation. Kail he did keep in mind some of the conversation between the two. Not wanting to make a sceen or brawl a very infamious quote rung through his head. Let the Wookie win, and in this case David was Chewbaka and he was R2D2. "I'm fine, I don't tend to mix sweet stuff with sweet stuff. If you want to talk to me again, I'll be around" he said and then walks past David and stops.

"If you want me away from Setsumi-san you could have asked. I don't know what you did, but this girl is freaking out due to you. So don't come on to her that strong" he said speaking loudly enough for David to hear and speaking in english. The redhead was about to walk off until she walked over. "Geee I don't know Valdis, maybe its the color of the dress that boobs are out of wack. Or you stole way too many of my hidden stash of cookies" he said in a very sarcastic tone of voice.

Valdis would find that she didn’t actually really have to drag Sophia. This is what she wanted to do in the first place after all. She sees the David seemed to dump Kaguya as a dancing partner to talk to a girl with glasses standing by Kail. “Gah… guys…” she huffs. Still the girl looked nervous, and she can’t help but wonder what David had done exactly to get that reaction. Sure, he was a little intimidating-looking, but she looked a little wigged.

Sophia rolls her eyes at the boobs comment, “Now you’re just showing off…” She is reminded how she is an average-sized girl surrounded by a ton of girls sporting D-cups. Nothing makes you feel more like the ittie bittie tittie committee than that.

“Camera girl?” Sophia asks, raising an eyebrow. “I’m guessing that isn’t actually your name. It appears you know all my friends. I’m Sophia,” she says. Looking between all of them, she asks, “Would any of you care to join us on the dance floor? What’s a dance without the dancing part anyways?”

Really you could cut the tension in the air, and being who she was and all it was obviously her duty to lighten up the mood. This was supposed to be a night for fun, and she had enough of butting heads for the evening. When Kail responded she looked down at her boobs, were they out of whack. She shifted her corset a bit until the wonderful chest melons were back in place. Then a look of wonder crossed her face as the monumental idea that Kail just purposed.

”Kail….that is freaking genius, where are the cookies! ….although getting crumbs in there is really annoying. Makes it itchy…”

Valdis looked over at Sophia when she caught up. It would seem her glorious boobage was making Sophia feel inadequate. Valdis paused and tapped her chin, before reaching out and adjusting Sophia. She nodded in approval after Sophia had been adjusted.

”Sometimes you just got to rearrange them; we’ll take you bra shopping in a couple days to help pick out some that will help show off those sweater puppies”

Nothing like an awkward conversation during an awkward moment. When Sophia introduced herself Valdis chuckled.

”She’s camera girl cause I can’t remember her name for the life of me”

David just held on to the plate of fruit from the snack bar, twitching, jaw slammed shut. He couldn't say much of anything, even though he wanted to wail on Lancaster. The nerve, telling him just to ask to spend alone time with Setsumi, when half of other knights' daytime activies included womanizing?

Standing there stiffly, looking stupid, David didn't touch the food, didn't put it aside, or do anything. The imposing, monolithic form stared absently through the other students, secretly hunting for an escape route. He didn't like these things, didn't want to even breathe the same air as the others. Why did he agree to this nonsense, when all he seemed to do was screw it up?

Why couldn't a youma just come out, he could shoot it, and the awkwardness would just blow away?

(I'm kinda behind here. let's assume Ama doesn't speak french and just returns with a 'pleasure to meet you thing') Amarissa simply smiled and nodded in sympathy as Peter excused himself then made her way over to what appeared to be a small confrontation.

She came in just in time to hear the last of the boob comments and did a mental facepalm. Where was the grace and subtlety? Her own pair were pretty nice and she had dabbed a bit of shimmer powder on the suggestive area but this was a bit much even for Valdis. Shaking her head, she simply wedged herself into the circle, standing with one hand loosely resting on her hip.

"Hey Setsumi, been a while hasn't it? How's those skating lessons going?" she asked, smiling and wondering whether the girl would recognize her. "Valdis, David, nice to see you here. No one's causing trouble, I hope. This is supposed to be a fun, high school dance," she added, still calm. "Speaking of which, I love Sophia's idea. There's no dancing here. Which one of you handsome gentlemen wants the pleasure?" she continued, her confidence evident in a rarely seen sexy smirk.

Keitha jumped as she was somewhat startled by Kaguya, but as she recovered from it she was relieved. She still did not know many people at the school considering she wasn't very social, hell the only time she left her room recently was to go wind up in some sort of battle or go to Vals house, both of which weren't very often, she had been somewhat absent recently from everywhere besides school. She gave a small smile, "Ello Kaguya, yeah I almost didn, but I had already bought tha dress and it's nonrefundable, I luv yours by tha way, not me style but it's cute." She paused, "I see ya came too. By yerself? Or doya ave a date?" She asked chuckling.

Kaguya giggled a bit "Oh most of the group is here and thank you for the compliment" she said pointing over to where most of the group was. "Most boys are afraid of me anyway. Plus I'm with the gardening club and there offering a prize as one of the drawings in the raffle. Plus I asked my father to donate a bracelet set as another prize. But enough about me" she said and then desided to bring her over to the group by taking one of her hands and dragging her over to the group. "Looky on who I found" she said with a grin on her face. Knowing that Sophia and Valdis were the evil match makers of the group. Or at least Sophia was with this team in general.

A boy with dark blonde hair steps up besides the DJ. As soon as the song comes to an end, he talks the microphone, “First of all, thank you everyone for coming out. Without you guys, this would hardly be a party. Also, I’d like to thank all our amazing volunteers.” With that the student volunteers cheer wildly before he motions for them to calm down. “Now, finally what you’ve all been waiting for: the raffle! Let me introduce our four fabulous prizes. We have this beautiful class ring. The school motto etched into a silver band, with a beautiful amethyst stone. Next, a dinner party for up to five at a wonderful five-star restaurant in Shibuya. Eat with the rich and famous and your friends. Third, two tickets the Arena stage in Shibuya, redeemable for any sporting event or concert. Go with a friend… or perhaps that special someone. Lastly, and this really is the best. The pride and joy of the gardening club. This beautiful red orchid is a rarity, and the president of the club claims it’s good luck. Don’t worry, it comes with a list of instructions.”

“Now the winning numbers are: 339, 207, 431, 425. Please step up and claim the prize you want!”

David, Kaguya, Valdis, and Setsumi will notice that they are the numbers that have been called.

Valdis placed a hand on David shoulder and gave him a lopsided grin. He needed to relax a bit, however he didn’t seem to be allowing himself to. When Ama walked up and did her sexy bit Valdis laughed outright.

”I did not expect that out of you. But dancing does sound lovely…and since these boys seem to be to slow”

Valdis bowed and held out her hand to Ama.

”Allow me the honor of giving you your first dance”

She flashed her most dashing smile/smirk and was about to sweep Ama off to dance when the music was interrupted. She blinked for a second as the raffle numbers were called, she dug into her bra of holding and pulled out her ticket stub.

”Would ya look at that”

A wicked grin spread across her face as she waved her hand with her winning ticket and in a loud voice esclaimed.

”I WILL TAKE IT! I WILL TAKE THE RING TO MORDOR!”

She skipped off to the podium where she plucked the ring up and held it over her head.

”WHO WANTS TO BE MY FELLOWSHIP!”

"Don't mind if I do." Comes a familiar voice as Kousuke appears and takes Ama's hand, giving her a smile. However, while the knight had certainly appeared with his trademark timing (well he might have been slightly late), he something was slightly off. Kousuke was walking with an almost unnoticeable limp, and when he takes Ama's hand she will see a bandage peek out form under the sleeve of his jacket.

In fact while Kou's tux and the lighting made it difficult to see for possible the first time in a long time the knight seemed to have suffered some wound he couldn't immediately heal from. "Well, even though I'm supposed to be all dashing and everything I do have to admit that I'm not very good at this." he says with a bit of a laugh. Kousuke was a bit too energetic to have the attention span to learn actual dancing. That being said he had good reflexes so he could manage not to totally embarrass himself.

"Good thing I got here when I did though, I'd be jealous if someone else had gotten your first dance." he says with his usual charming, optimistic smile.

Mitsuki was enjoying the dance, she had arrived early, along with her two friends who were always in tow. She tossed her silky short hair out of her eyes, and gazed upon the festivities with a smile. Happily sipping her drink; her rusty blond hair was swept off in a side part, and shined with a healthy gloss like finish. She was in a particular good mood this evening as she looked up at a bunch of balloons and confetti held up by a large tarp over the stage. Her eyes slid back to those who were enjoying the dance. She herself was dressed up in her finest, a mature navy blue form fitting knee length dress with a sweet heart neckline; the dress also sported long sleeves made out of matching lace. Around her neck set a string of pearls, along with matching studs in her ears. Her makeup was done up in light pink pastels, enhancing her natural beauty.

All seemed to be going well, the she witch seemed to have even left, and Kail seemed to be alone for the most part. She slowly began to make her way over to him, just in time to hear a voice that was like nails on a chalk board to her. Her smile left her face for a moment as the pop star made a sluttly fool of herself. It was a wonder that people were able to tolerate such behavior. She made her way over at this point, if only to put a stop to the vulgar acts.

However just then the winners for the raffles were called…of course she’d be a winner…She watched as the purple haired princess jumped up onto the stage. Her hand held up over her mouth to cover a smirk, the girl was making an utter fool of herself she hardly needed help in doing so. She glanced over at Lancaster Sensei’s expression to see what he made of this random act. She was pleased to see he didn’t seem too amused at the moment with Valdis’s behavior…nor did her other male friend. She turned her attention back to Valdis and clapped for her along with the rest of the others as she claimed her prize. She walked up to the girl and looked up at her from the stage with a good natured smile.

”Valdis! Congratulations, how good to see you and Lancaster Sensei made it to the high school dance. I heard you recently graduated early, I wasn’t aware you were gifted in the academics as well as the arts. We certainly miss you in the dance division. It hasn’t been the same without you”

She turned and smiled at the others in Valdis’s small little gathering.

”I don’t believe I have met all of you; are all of you enjoying the dance? Lancaster Sensei, I’m glad you were able to attend. I know a lot of students who are happy you joined, after all you work so hard here at the school.”

“Kousuke, incredibly timed,” Sophia smiles as he arrives as if on cue to take Ama’s hand. All that was needed for a slow dance to come on the entrance would have reminded her of a movie.

The numbers are called, and she isn’t one of the numbers. Evidently, she was bad at gambling and romance. Oh well, maybe better luck next time.

Laughing at Val’s reaction to winning, Sophia walks up. With seriousness, she answers the call, “I will help you bear this burden for as long as it is yours to bear…” Pausing for a second, she asks, “Wait. Haven’t we done this bit before at the pool?”

Sophia looks over at the newcomer. She didn’t recognize this one either. “Sophia, and it’s a pleasure to meet you,” she says extending a hand.
