I can hear them, the vibrations of the dark energy. Lance walks down the street heading towards the faint sound, well to say Lance wasn't entirely true. The balance of the three inside of Lance had been upset recently and while Lance and Oni were clashing it had given Soma the opportunity to seize control. "Well those two certainly have made a mess of things." He muses, but to be honest some of Lance's recent decisions had surprised Soma. He wasn't getting over his issues, but he had found something he cared about, even if it wasn't someone.

As he continues to walk he locates the person he was looking for. Soma still looked like Lance, but instead of his usual slightly hunched and aggressive demeanor Soma instead walked with a straight back and a calm expression on his face.

As he turns the corner he sees the person he was looking for. "Excuse me Valdis, I would like to talk with you.

Valdis had just left the dance her hair was piled up high on her head in a messy bun; her stiletto heels clicked along the side walk as she walked. Her long black trench coat hid all but the longest purple and black strands that made the edgy look to her skirt. She was about to go to the underground to the train when she heard someone call her name. Valdis paused surprised to see Lance....at least that what she thought. Her head tilted to the side confused, last time she had ran into him he had just tried to kill her. Despite that Valdis showed no animosity towards him.

"Hello...Lance...Oni? Which one do you go by?"

She didn't blame him for having attacked her; the fact that he did probably helped her case more then it hurt.

"What do you want o talk about, and is this the place to do it? I'm just on my way home"

As Valdis mistakes him for both of the other occupants of the mind Soma smiles. Soma was actually dressed in a blazer and slacks, apparently Lance had at least one set of dress cloths that he basically never wore except during times like this. Soma had let the boy drive during the dance, but now it was time for the adults to talk. "I suppose I should introduce myself. My name is Soma, I'm the last of the trio in this body." He says with a polite bow.

"First of all I would like to apologize for Oni's actions. I am afraid he cannot distinguish between youma and simply attacks them when he comes into contact. However, I must advice that the path you are walking down might lead you to the same place as him in the end." Soma explains.

"But I did not come to criticize you or even to apologize, I would like to hear your side of what's going on as you seemed the most informed member of the group. Though if you would like to take this somewhere else I am certainly obliged to agree."

Valdis raised an eyebrow when he introduced himself as Soma...one of three. She felt sorry for him to have to share his body with three so drastically different personalities.

"Doesn't it get crowded in there?"

She felt it crowded enough that she had some weird self whispering bad things into her ear. Nevermind three who were most likely at odds with each other. At least there were points she agreed on with her other voice..the rest were ignored. But she was surprised he came to apologize; she had not expected an apology in the least.

"I thank you for the apology; I hold no ill will, I had let my guard down because he avoided me during the first battle; it's a mistake that won't happen a second time. However if I am attacked again and do not have the option of flight I will not hesitate to bring him down."

The second part she could only smile to; so many people were warning her not to go down that road.

"I have come to accept the fact the road I walk is a one way street. It will before I lose myself completely. "

She nodded when he came to the real reason why he sought her out; he was now the third to come to her willingly. Valdis was happy to oblige such a request; She would not deny the pursuit of knowledge.

"I would be happy to answer any questions and moving to another location would be ideal. If you know of a place I will be happy to fallow. But what exactly do you wish to know and what is your knowledge so far on the situation. "

Soma smiles, this was more civil than he had expected though when she says she won't hesitate to fight back he simply shrugs. "Oni is a relic of a bygone age, killing him would be no great loss for the world." Soma replies though as she asks him if it gets crowded he nods. "I suppose it does, though in the end this is Lance's body so while Oni might not appreciate it I at least know that it is terribly rude to try and take the whole pie when given a slice one did not deserve." He says as he begins to walk down a darker road.

"We can talk as we walk." He explains "Well I suppose I should say my piece so that we can get it over with regarding the youma. The path may seem one way, but there is always an option to stop, though if you continue down it I suppose the outcome could be a surprising one. Not many have walked it willingly and with clear eyes so maybe you will see a road that they did not." He admits "Though if you don't I feel sorry for those to whom your friendship and love will become a burden."

After a pause he changes the subject. "As for what I know, well it's spotty. I assume that the forces of chaos are back, I know that the senshi are being joined by male guardians now. Mostly those who served as knights similar to my self form what I can tell. The enemy is led by the 'Zodiac' who seem to be more intelligent and powerful than ordinary youma and they also seem to have a complex power balance among themselves or at least that is the impression I got form Lance's conversation with Taurus."

After a few moments of thinking. "I know that Taurus offered Lance a spot among the zodiac and that while he said "no" is tempted to say yes, partially due to his interest in her as an opponent, rival and possibly companion. That's about it, oh we defeated the zodiac member Scorpio as well." Having said everything he know he says "I suppose start with whatever you feel is relevant. I'll tell Lance anything you tell me unless otherwise instructed."

"I have recently realized that last point myself, I am afraid I had mad and oversight when it came to my personal relations. I'm unfamiliar with the attachment that comes with friendship. I realized that after Kail mentioned what happened after the ship incident. But I thank you for looking out for them. For someone who does not seem to wish to work as a team you sure are acting like a team oriented member right now."

She gave him the slightest twitch of a smile. Valdis was quiet as they walked along and listened patiently to what he knew. Gaining a bit more information herself as he went on. Hearing Lance was offered a Zodiac position made a smile cross her face, it would seem she would have had competition if this was the case. Though she had to wonder...while she had to undergo training to reach the position; it would seem Lance was freely offered the position. Was he that more powerful than her? Or was it an empty promise by and over eager Zodiac. Her Twinsy seem to be the more tactical type, he wouldn't likely offer her up for the position until he knew she could obliterate any who opposed the idea.

"Did he think to find out her motives for reaching out to him? Because that would be amusing to hear... Although I would be lying if Taurus didn't intrigue me as well and I already know you defeated Scorpio. I was there, I was the first to break free from his alternate reality because I embraced it. I believe one of you contemplated on striking me down when I attacked Sophia...Also out of curiosity…Did Taurus leave her mark on you?"

Soma seemed to know quite a bit compared to the others, but she still needed to figure out where to begin on what to fill him in on. So she was quite for a bit while she sorted out where to start.

"You are correct in your assumption...are you aware of any of the history between the earth and moon kingdom? And how this world was one before it was split into two by the moon kingdoms queen?...Are you even aware of the realm that the youma are coming from? If not you may recall the portals that appeared when we were on the ship."

Valdis was still spotty on where to start…she had collected a lot of information and had yet had to explain all that she knew. Although she supposed she should at least tell him the essentials.

”But besides for small details I think I should probably update you on what happened after that ship battle. The next day Sophia Kail and myself approached the President, through some talking we managed to secure the Japanese Military support, moving forward we are to work together with the military to decrease the collateral damage that we are causing. According to Sophia I am aware that one of your selves does not wish to be a part of the group…knowing what I know and the circumstances that have recently arisen I would strongly advise you to reconsider your position on that matter… but really that’s all that I’m going to say on that matter.”

She really wasn’t going to push the matter about him joining or not, it was his choice in the end and he probably already got an earful from Sophia.

”Now that we have the Japanese Militaries support, things are beginning to fall into place. We need to obtain the American Military support as well…But Japan’s no longer going to take the passive approach we are moving the country to stand up and show its teeth finally…which means I have another person to hit up again for support….He won’t deny it this time….The group isn’t alone in this any longer”

A wicked grin grew on Valdis’s face, they had accomplished a great feat the other day, they had moved a country to stand up and fight, increasing their numbers by the thousands.

”To fill you in further on what you need to know we are planning on marching against the citadel in the America’s…but first we have to take out the Sapporo Obelisk, securing our foot hold in Japan not to mention taking out one of the covenants main sources of energy….From what I know we do not have much time the covenant is almost ready to act. If we could find a way to block the covenant from porting into Japan and we take out Sapporo we’d be golden. Mainly because Japans typhoon season is hitting its peak next month and in the past that has worked towards our advantage….and I think the key to finding a way to block that is observing what they are doing to block it for the citadel…so the possibility is on the table if we can figure it out.”

As Valdis asks him what he know about a split between the earth and the moon Soma smirks. "I have gleaned a bit of information regarding that, but to be honest the event is a bit too recent for me to have complete knowledge." He admits. After all Soma and Oni had been sealed in a generation before the one before this which is part of why there was no Eris during the previous generation. "I do not have much experience with the Youma world itself, Oni would be the one to talk to about that, it most or less his home." Soma admits with a wistful smile. "Much to my distress."

Though when Valdis asks if Taurus marked him Soma smiles and lists his bangs making the mark appear. "You too I assume. Which one? And how far in are you?" He asks curiously.

When Valdis brings up the military Soma laughs. It was a good laugh, warm and rich with a quality that belied a life that had lived enough for 10 people. "I somehow do not think Lance and Oni are going to agree to join willingly. From what I know of this group the members are more talented that many of the past groups of Senshi, but it seems those individual strengths have cost them cohesion." He explains. "Lance will not reach out to the group, if there is going to be progress on that front I think a couple of them will need to reach out to him."

After hearing Killian's name several times Soma seems to start to put together who he is. "You have mentioned the Mars Knight(?) several times. That boy is a good general and a good knight keep him close...you might also want to make sure he and Lance don't talk to much, they might kill each other."

But when Valdis explains her plan he freezes. "When you are ready to make the attacked let me know. I will take over for Lance and Oni for that one fight." He says. "You have only seen them fight, but in truth the greatest strength of Eris's power is when used with an army. I have the power to strengthen soldier and increase the effectiveness of conventional weapons against monsters like the Youma. So for that attack I will join."

”The youma world and this world are the same, however while this planet is dying the chunk broken off has long become just an empty husk of what it once was. My theory is that when it was severed from the earth it died off like an amputated limb…I am already quite aware of how the Youma world is and its good to know I am not the only one who can access that realm. If one of yourselves knows how to get back and forth learn to bring others with you. You may need that skill in the future if I am not around.”

So Tauros had marked him, it did not surprise her much considering she and Tauros had chatted. When he asked which one she was marked by she pulled her necklace from around her neck. The half of a silver circle marked with a numeral I.

”He has the other half, I would show you the actual mark but if I make it show up he comes to see what’s wrong. I’m sure it could work the other way despite what he says however I’m not quite willing to try out that theory yet. His mark is slightly different than yours however and far enough in that I’m not coming back out. I needed help learning to bring my powers to their full potential, I am not a Senshi and I do not have access to the same energy you all operate off of. So I accepted his offer; plus I’m curious to see this battle through the covenants eyes.”

She folded her arms across her chest.

”The ones I have come in contact have their legitimate reasons for fighting, and there goals that they are saying to have make sense. This world did need a change….which is why I cannot fully agree with the idea of erasing it all as if it never happened with the silver crystal. In fact I’m strongly against that sentiment. However while I may find myself on the side of some of the Zodiac members I hesitate at its true intentions hidden even from them. Scorpio imparted some of this plan to me when we killed him…if she aims to annihilate every one of the decedents from the moon kingdom, mixed bloods, or even the peasants as she calls them then she’ll wipe everyone on this earth out…including some of her own followers. All in the name of the utopia she pictures.”

When he mentioned his views on the military Valdis nodded, she did not expect him to be one of the ones that joined willingly.

”I did not expect them to, which was why it was established to separate the group from those who do want to collaborate to the ones that don’t. While the main group will have alliance with the Japanese government the ones not affiliated will be considered vigilantes. Which has its uses. We needed to make that distinction.”

Valdis nodded he was correct in assuming she was talking about the Mars knight.

”Yes, he’s my body guard we have become close. I think maybe you and him should have a chat…I think he would not mind you as he would the other two. You’ll find he’s more patient when things are properly explained.”

She stopped when he did and tilted her head, this was a very good piece of information.

”That is good to know, then it was a wise move in collaborating with the government. It will make it so you shine to your full potential. How may I reach you if it’s one of your other personalities in control?...Exactly how does that work say if Oni was in control…how would you switch and would you even be able to switch”

"Oni cannot travel to the other world in Lance's body unless he hops through a portal. Oni is from a time long ago, back when a foolish soldier turned to power to try and fill the void left by the one whom he respected and admired sealing herself with monsters." He says with a wintery smile. Soma did not like Oni's existence, but it was a mistake he had made, he feels sorry that it has rebounded onto Lance as well. "However, last time Oni ended up in the Youma world he didn't leave until he had killed a small legion and was turned by someone of great power. I would not see him return there unless it was absolutely necessary."

After hearing Val's points Soma nodded patiently. "I think he wants to come out so I'll be on my way, but if you can get work to Lance, regardless of who is in control I will seize control when it is time." He says with a smile that seemed someone who had an upper hand in his situation.
