"I don't think throwing me into the water counts as a win, I mean I tore out your throat and sank the boat. They have about the same amount of relevance to what actually happened." He points out with a bit of a grin. He found himself enjoying this back and forth, it wasn't often that he met people who he felt he could connect with. "Though you don't taste anything like your name suggests." he says with a hint of dissatisfaction.
"As for the rough treatment, that was a fight. It'd just be disrespectful to not go for the kill regardless of what I thought of you." He replies as the food is delivered and he bites into the burger. "Though there's no point regretting anything in a fight. It is a place where brutal honesty is king."
Though when she mentions taking Kail down a notch he shakes his head. "No point in a punch up with someone who has reservations. I agree that the team isn't gonna get anywhere though, not until they've gotten their act together enough to kill the enemies." He says as he takes another bite and pretty soon the food is gone. Though as Taurus describes her views on rebellion he smiles.
"You ain't so bad. Constant struggle and turnover isn't that what life's all about? If things are given to you then what's the point? I don't really intend to join any side until something changes, but you're more than welcome on mine if you'd like."

Taurus puts down the burger for a few seconds to defend her win. “Well, if we go by boxing rules, you had 20 seconds to get back on the boat, which was our fighting area, before it was declared a knockout. The boat was no big loss. It’s not like I was going to take it with me anywhere. And I broke your arms before you tore a piece out of my neck.” It was closer to a draw if she was going to be honest, but she didn’t want to admit it.
Laughing at the mention that she didn’t taste like their food, "I’m sorry I failed to meet your expectations. However, if I was so tasty, I don’t think I’d be able to lead hordes of youma. I don't think most of the others taste like food but I never tried to eat them.” Returning to her food, she finds herself finished with it almost as quickly, and she’s left only with the remaining milkshake.
She smiles at his attitude of respect in battle, “I’d hardly be worth my rank if I let that kind of thing kill me though. I honestly hope you were the last person to get the blow Scorpio. It would have been worthy of him.” Scorpio was a peer. He deserved to go out in an honorable fashion.
Taurus nods at the constant struggle and turnover. This one got it. If only he'd join her fight... She plays with the straw as he declines her offer and gives his own. “Well, I’ll wait for your answer until then. But I’m already on your side in a way. If I wasn't, I wouldn't be sitting here in a restaurant with you.” His corpse might be appreciated just as well as his pledging to fight for them by Virgo. And she wasn’t trying to dismember him in the streets as a message to the short skirt brigade, something she probably would have done for just about any other one of them.

"I don't think we were boxing there. I didn't see and gloves and as I recall breaking arms with that backflip thing you did isn't really a legal move." Lance points out with a grin as he leans back, satisfied with the meal. "As for the youma taste, they more or less universally taste pretty lousy. In that respect you were better than them, but still.."
"I wasn't the one who finished off Scorpio it was the one with silver hair." He says honestly. "I the main group is pretty tough, just like you guys, though the scale is very much in your favor. To be honest I can't figure out why you don't all just work together to raze the town to get them, even I wouldn't be able to stop you in that situation." Lance admits taking a final sip of his drink.
Though as she mention that she is already on his side he laughs. "Well I suppose you might see it that way, but I doubt it. You don't strike me as someone who swears true allegiance, but I suppose I'll take that as a compliment. Though if you start messing up my turf again we'll see how that draw would have turned out." he tells her setting down the drink.
"Well since I'm off work now, what do you wanna do?" He asks her now that the mean was finished.

“I guess there are no real set of rules that apply here. We’ll have to settle it definitively some other time then, and I’ll even take you to a hospital afterward. We can fight to knock out later.” Being a sparring partner would be a good way to stay in touch until he came to the decision that she believed he would.
“What a compliment to give a woman,” Taurus smiles at the mention of tasting better.
She frowns at the mention of Scorpio. “What a shame. And I will admit. They are tough. He was something far older than me and far more powerful. However, maybe he thought he was immortal at that point, and didn't understand or appreciate the danger that they represented.”
“We don’t really want to raze the area. There are plans in place for Tokyo which involves it to be mostly standing for the time being. Can’t do a big stunt like at the harbor again if that’s what you are worried about.”
She raises an eyebrow, “I’m probably the least likely to stab you in the back. My allegiances may shift, but you’ll probably know that immediately if it happens. But for now, you have my word that I won’t murder you in your sleep. That wouldn’t be any fun anyways.”
She leans back into the chair when asked what she wanted to do. “I don’t know. I don’t know the city all that well. What is fun here in Tokyo?”
