Valdis looked surprised....that was tall.... her mother sounded like a scary woman.

"....It sounds like if your mom ever had a chance to meet my mom she'd eat her....my mother was a flouriest. Didn't have an aggressive bone in her body.."

When Kaguya asked what her relationship was with Mr.Red Val couldn't help but laugh.

"We have both come to the agreement that I am indeed the master in the relationship and frankly that term is not that far off. I hired him to be my body guard after I saw him transform. He found me annoying at first, frankly that seems to be the impression I give people when they first meet me can't fathom why. But he had to fallow me to my work and other outings; quite frankly he went above and beyond with the whole care taking thing. On more than one occasion he ended up carrying me back to his house to make sure I ate and slept when I should......When I get caught up in something I tend to neglect my basic needs. Over a short amount of time we have formed and odd sort of friendship. I trust him and he trusts me, we can work well as a team when we need to. I've come quite comfortable with red, it's as simple as that. Although with that trust he's given me more of a run on my leash as the whole body guard thing has gone."

Well after hearing that explanation her and Kails relationship was anything but simple if you heard it, but it went smoothly for them and that was all that mattered.

"So I have my hired knight, what do you think of your earthy counterpart?"

"Haha far from the truth, she's kinda laid back when she's not in her ring persona. So she does not get over the top. When she is angry though its one of those cold siberian furies. You will more then likely feel when she is angry" Kaguya said and then heard Valdis's explanation between herself and Kail. She had to laugh at the start of the story but then settled down to hear the rest of it. As it gave her some food for thought. "For a gaijin, he's probably the purist example of a modern day samurai. Just from your story there" she said and then her thoughts went to her knight and she sighed and looked a bit vexed and rubbed her temples a bit. After that Kaguya looks up at Valdis getting her thoughts together before speaking.

"Ok I will admit I am not the sharpist tool in the shed. But ugh he's more of a moron then me and way too much of a hot blooded male. I hate jocks the most......He's using way too much of the Earth's powers I mean the golems and then turning himself into a tree. Does he want to kill this planet...Its barely fighting off the covenant infection that's trying to kill it" she said looking a bit exasperated when dealing with her knight. For the most part Kousuke did not feel like he was her knight at all. "Perhaps I should have a conversation with him soon on this matter" Kaguya said as she took another sip of her tea.

"Guess he is like a samurai....he has the swords and everything. Although I feel I'm corrupting his pure heart"

She chuckled darkly, he was starting to play along with her jokes after all. But that made him that more fun. Though she was amused to hear Kaguya's take on the jumping bean.

"His heart is in the right place, and he tries to be at least be noble about the way he goes about things. I also do not think he meant to turn himself into a tree, it was more self preservation from what I saw."

She finished off the tea, she wasn't sure why she was defending the jumping bean....after all he had dumped her out in the middle of the woods while blind once. But then again he got her out of the tree during the first Senshi meeting. She found her opinion of him was more neutral then anything. How ever she could see Kaguyas concern when it came to the covenants "infection".

"The covenant may have introduced the means but the "infection" as you call it is due to the population as a whole....The covenant were not the ones who froze the planet , it was the general public's inner turmoil as a whole."

She looked up at Kaguya to see if she was fallowing what she was saying, but realized it may take a bit more explanation.

"To understand how this all works you need to understand the history, creatures with the abilities to use powers such as you and I, use to roam this planet freely. People were able to provide for themselves, there was not wanting, no one left hungry or poor...everyone had and could get what they needed. It was the golden age...however a shadow that has been present in every dark part of history loomed, fear and worst of all greed. A war broke out between two realms...one of those realms being the moon kingdom, the other earth. Fueled by fear the earth inhabitants annialated the moon kingdom, their queen in a desperate last act used the silver crystal. The silver crystal acted much like a reset button for both earth and the moon kingdom...it gave a second chance for the people annihilated on the moons surface to live a new life here on earth. Along for the earths citizens...the ones who could be redeemed that is. For the ones that could not...well the silver crystal tore a part of the earth, the center of the golden kingdom and flung it into a dark realm. The beings who inhabit that realm are what we now call Youma."

She let that information sink in, she figured at least the earth senshi at the very least should know what happened to her planet.

"Jumping ahead in time a bit, for there are pieces of this puzzle I have not yet uncovered so you will have to bear with me if there are gaps from what I have come to understand. After the worlds inhabitants were split apart a new race was born, it developed into the humans that we know today. Each having only a partial of the abilities their ancestors once had. This latent ability is buried so deep within people that many will never be able to access it... unfortunately this new race would have been more than easy prey for the youma...another reason to why they had been taken away from this realm. Queen serenity meant to see to the survivability of the new infant race..."

She paused once again, she had not before had to verbalize her findings so this was good practice.

"Now we are getting closer to my point in all of this, going back to the matter of most people not being able to access their latent powers. The covenant brought forth the obelisks as an antenna as you will; this boosted the population's ability to access their latent abilities. As well as serving a purpose of gathering energy from the masses. Since the energy the obelisks are gathering is chaotic it does have some odd side effects. The chaotic magic reacted to the general public mass's will for it all to end...this world you and I live in is governed by the elites, many like you and your father just make by the best you can but have no power to shape the world around you. Basically people wanted this sort of life style to end....in a morbid sense this is how the chaos magic responded to such wills....its freezing to simply end it all. So the "infection" as you call it wasn't the doing of the covenant; at least it was not in there objective."

Kaguya looked a Valdis when she dropped a massive bomb for her mind to take in. Some of it sounded absurd the other she found very belivable and it caused her to be silent and her forehead knot up in contemplation. Trying to digest everything she heard from the girl across from her "Valdis with all due respect I can give. A part of that story I can beleave with the Queen Serenity and some of the youma being mythological creatures or beings of lore. But some of the other stuff I call bull shit on. I'm sure that most people thought the world was ending. But If that were the case the entire world would have been dead a year later. But yet the will to live is still here and its perservering. That hope to live is still there, that will can not be broken" she said looking very spirited about what she was saying. The pink haired girl was not that smart but she did have her own thoughts on the matter.

"The Covenant are still at fault for causing this cancer...this blight. There obelisks are draining the energy of the masses, yes? What if these things are also darkening the will of the people as well? The world did not start getting like this just from the will of the people alone. That sense of its over was more or less magnified by those things.......That's just a guess from me " she said wanting to shoot down Valdis on this. That line of reasoning was just wrong and it did not feel right to her. As deep down in her heart that was not the truth. "Where in the heck did you learn this" she said really questioning Valdis.

"I didn't quite mean for that to come across as the world is ending; more of the frozen state being a response to the general mass looking for a way out and seeing none. See it as a physical metaphor that morbidly describes the masses state of mind."

She sat back in her chair to think a moment before responding.

"I do concede that, yes the obelisks most likely amplify this feeling of hopelessness, just like the youmas world zaps all feelings of hopes. It's the nature of the chaotic power that they use......As for where I got this information it was from a Zodiac. Scorpio to be exact......."

Valdis paused for a moment.

"Being able to shoot fire isn't my only ability; I am able to see into the past, present, and future. During our battle with Scorpio, during his last moments I was able to live and experience his past. I lived through his eyes where the corruption began. Virgo there dark queen, I saw her face, the chaos in her eyes. I saw it and felt it slowly taint him as they campaigned against the moon kingdom...I learned the lies that slowly blended into truth in his mind.

Valdis thought, discerning what was truth and what wasn't was the most difficult part of all of this.

"I have been trying to sort out what happened in the past, since the cats are un able to tell us. What I told you is what the covenant firmly believe. They believe that they are fighting to get their home back, to get out of a place which zaps them from any hope. They believe its the elite of this world that have caused such a hopelessness among the masses. You can understand with this line of thinking why so many people have joined them, yes? Now I theorize from what I have gathered that chaotic energy is not the base energy that the covenant believe. I think Virgo introduced it all those eons ago, and slowly corrupted what they call the older ones. She seems to be the seed that implanted chaotic energy into this world; Queen Serenity never killed her off...and the chaos energy returned. "

A smile spread across her face as another piece of the puzzle clicked in place.

"I know I am rambling but I do love historic puzzles such as this, history so often holds the answers to today's problems."

Kaguya just silently thinks on it as food for thought "...This is not my area to give any opinion on this past or things of that nature. Its better suited for someone like yourself Val or Kail-san, since it seems that you two got the minds for it. But for the overall group though that might see this as a problem would be Sophia. She wants to do things without fighting, I can not blame her for trying this. But with that giant youma or some that might be so intrenched in this kind of thinking they will be.....uh...whats that word....uh zealots. So I doubt they will hear our voices or logic" she said trying not to sound like a ditz to Val. But was doing her best to have a intelligent conversation with the girl across from her.

"There is something that's been bothering me though as the name of Serenity....sounds way too familure.....But I don't know where, through out my life I have had some odd dreams of another place and even another time. But its something you might not be interested in though, I drew some of what I saw. But I don't have anything on me to show you though. Although its something for another time since the dance is about an hour from now" she said and then finishes her tea and sets down the cup. As it just felt weird having a conversation with someone without having them feeling afraid.

"Sophia has I believe come to terms that not everything can be saved; as long as we make the effort I think she knows she will have to be content with that. When dealing with matters like this the best solution is not always the one that pleases everyone."

Val was interested in the fact that kaguya had dreams, perhaps they were like her visions.

"If you have drawn her, I can confirm it, I have seen her after all."

When she mentioned the dance Val slapped herself on the forehead.

"I almost forgot about that, I remembered to throw the dress in my bag earlier at least...Apprently I'm getting dressed at the school though. Takes me a half an hour to get back to my house; you think your dad will be done that necklace soon?"

Apon Valdis saying about Kaguya's father being done he walks in "I apologize about the wait, my wife called and she needed to speak to me on something" said Shiro as he gives the necklaces to her and the roman numerals were done in a elegantly. "Lets get those things paid for, also Chibi Usa that dress you ordered your mom has it and is bring it over right now" he said going to the register. There would be some typing involved at the computer as Kaguya looks at Valdis.


"I'll see what I can do next time if we have a meeting. I don't have anything on me right now though. Lets get to the front to take care of your items there" said Kaguya as she gets up and stretches a bit grinning at the fact that dress she ordered had came in today. It would be a big knock out for most people to see. Since most students feared her mere presence, while some were slowly seeing that she was not an evil monster to ruin here day.
