"I wonder what would happen if he actually went out of his way to be romantic...either way I enjoy spending the time with him. He gets my humor, which is always nice....So we're talking about the boy I like. Is there someone I can tease you on?"

She grinned slyly as she waggled her eyebrows. When the new knights were mention Val looked at Sophia with a questioning stare.

"Ok which ones which, I never got to learn the names. But they will be added to the collection eventually. I wasn't exactly myself during that battle...."

When Sophia went on to describe her knight, Valdis smiled.

"Perhaps the fact he's your opposite is a good thing; by being on opposite ends of things you have each other to help balance the other out. Judging by what you said I can say it safe to assume you also have access to Venus's negative aspect yes? If you're only using the positive element you are only accessing half your power. Perhaps he can teach you it's alright to sometime hate things, while you can teach him it's ok to love things."

When the subject of her chaotic energy came up she frowned.

"I did almost loose myself...I hadn't realized I was losing a grip on reality until I accidently strangled you. It wasn't until then that I realized something was wrong and started fighting back. "

“Boy I like?” Sophia starts to look embarrassed. “Would it be strange if the senshi of love had no love life? But maybe I like amusing myself by talking about other people’s romantic lives more. However, who knows? With the school dance coming up, maybe some cute boy will ask me to dance.”

Sophia realizes she’s gotten a little ahead of herself again. “Oh yeah. So Lance was the one was originally red and then gained a spear and started singing. I find it sort of strange he has two transformations. He can be a little rough, but I think that’s because he doesn’t care much. I wasn’t really expecting him to help me out of the battlefield though. That was… unexpectedly sweet of him. I wonder if the other knights have two as well. And David was the one dressed in all black with the rifle. Actually, I wonder if he has clothes other than black. He wore all black when we first met too…”

Sophia shrugs as Valdis tries to take a positive spin on it. “Aglaea seemed uneasy about the negativity thing. As for access to the negative side of things, I can really only pull on what’s there inside your soul. I don’t have a lot of hatred… I get the feeling if I tried to grasp for it and spread it, not much would happen. But love, it comes so naturally.”

“I’m not sure I’d want access to that kind of power. And it’s not like I could hold great amounts of love and hate simultaneously. One eats away at the other. It’s likely I’d be a very different person if my access to that particular emotion was better. I don’t feel like changing in that kind of way.”

“Teach him how to love things, though. That might be difficult, but I want to. He’s so withdrawn. Evidently, he was frightened of me when we first met too. That’s the first time ever. But that makes sense. He’s been through a lot. It’s obvious by looking at him. I don’t really want to see him get hurt anymore. I didn’t do a great job with my last knight. I don’t want to screw up this time.”

She shakes her head when Valdis talks about the strangling incident. “That’s in the past. Also, you did let go. I think you can figure out when you’ve moved too far. I trust you.”

Valdis arches an eyebrow; the girl had no crushes, attractions? Non what so ever? She did find it strange for someone who wanted to love so much did not want to love that special someone a bit more. Well when the girl did get someone the teasing a meddling would be great indeed.


"I would be lying if I didn't say I am amused by talking about others love lives as well because talking usually leads to meddling and I do so love to meddle."

As she spoke about lance Valdis vaguely recalled him.

"Perhaps he just learned to access both sides of his powers and I liked the one named David. The whole shoot threw me was kind of giggle worthy. Well the look on your face after was."

When the strangling incident was visited Val frowned; she was unsure in that aspect. But Sophia had placed a lot of trust in her...this thought gave Val a half smile and a small chuckle.

"Nazo and granny will be displeased you are fanning the flames of my over confidence. But I thank you. As for your last knight what happened to him was not your fault. When we go into battle one should be prepared for the worse. He most likely fought knowing the risks and I doubt he blames you little mouse...so stop putting the blame on yourself. Else wise you will begin to access that second emotion you're so against diving into."

Val suddenly remembered something a large grin spreading across her face.

"Sophia...how much time do you have this afternoon?"

“It’s not so much meddling if they actually need the help,” Sophia says, “Sometimes people need a little push in the right direction of happiness.” It did please her to see the others in good spirits. It’d be good for everyone if they didn’t get so bogged down so early in the fight. There is something mischievous in her smile though when she talks though.

She covers her face in her hands when she talks about the rifle incident. “That was horrifying. I don’t think I’ve ever held a gun in my life before! Thankfully, nothing like that happened.”

“But you guys will probably get along. He seems pretty smart, but maybe sort of bad socially. I’m sure he’ll get along with everyone once he gets over his shyness though!” Battle wasn’t really a good meeting place for everyone. The wave pool would be a great to do some way for proper introductions.

“And yeah, yeah… I know. Maybe I’ll stop feeling so guilty about it eventually. I’m sort of uneasy about the idea of anyone sacrificing their lives for me. Perhaps that’s hypocritical since I would do it in a heartbeat…”

Sophia looks a little confused. “I was going to study after class, but I can make time. I also have about an hour before I need to go to school now. What did you have in mind?”

'Meh' hour wasn't much but it would do. Valdis grabbed Sophia's hand and dragged her off; it was time for a shopping trip!

"Time to go find you a bathing suit!"

Valdis would head in the direction of the sundome, mainly because it was the only place that sold bathing suites now. But the grin on her face was evident as she dragged the likely confused teenager along with her.

"How about you text pushy cat, and Ama as well; it will be a girls morning yes?"
