As the icy chill envelopes Lance and his skin begins to freeze the tip of the spear he holds begins to vibrate, his entire body begins to shake rapidly and the ice that was covering him begins to break apart as Soma gets to his feat. “Well then, I didn’t expect to see you come here.” He says in a calm tone as he begins to reach out with harmony to deter people from coming towards the scene of chaos. Soma’s Singing Spear slide easily from his shoulders where it was resting as he raises it before him in a combat stance.

“I arrived late to your fellows demise, but I suppose if you want a fight I am one of the best to supply it. Though you’ve caught me in a rather strange mood.” He says with a calm and serene face. What the hell am I saying, there is something seriously wrong with me! Why the hell am I acting like this?! Lance rails in his head, more upset by his own actions than by those of the zodiac in front of him. Though Lance ha come to terms with death long ago so it was no real surprise that the mortal threat affected him less than most.

As the ground begins to attack him Soma leaps numbly into the air and with a sweep of his spear clears away the snow and ice from the place he would land before it starts attacking him. “Not a very straightforward fighter are you?” He muses as he eyes the woman with a smile, oh Soma knew he was outclassed there was no chance in hell he could win this fight, but he also couldn’t run so in this situation the best outcome was to minimize the damage. Of course if the military care before she killed him Soma might just have a chance.

Instead of continuing the battle Soma leaps from the building and using a lashing of force he descends to the ground slowly enough to prevent himself from taking any serious damage. However when he lands he notices the pink haired girl who was with Valdis earlier and only one thought crosses his mind. You’ve gotta be fucking kidding me! Soma turns back towards the battle and attempts to get between the pink haired girl and the danger.

“It’s not safe here, please leave.” He asks politely.

As Valdis put the Ofuda on Rosalinda, it would indeed jam the energy drain, causing Naoko's brow to twitch just slightly when it's noticed. A side effect, Valdis would feel as though her hand was burned as a result of her own personal energy interacting with the holy Ofuda. Naoko scowls, recognizing what it was, and gives Valdis a glare.

"Well, that's an interesting 'sticker', where did you get it from?" she asks innocently enough, but when Rosa decided to run outside, she frowned. She got up and meant to go after her.

"Rosalinda? Where are you going?" she says, moving more calmly after her. She couldn't quite go as rapidly after her to not start a stir with the other patrons who were already looking at Rosalinda for running out of the building, with Valdis still in the booth for the moment.

The older woman on the roof simply smirks as the Eris Knight made his moves to evade and defend himself. Right now, she was the cat chasing the mouse. It was the thrill of the hunt that gave her a twisted pleasure, as she tracks his movement with precision. She would let him think he got away, and then reappear to strike again when he isn't expecting it. The startled expression and grimaces of pain were exquisite.

As Rosa runs into the Eris Knight though, she would feel a strange sensation within her. Something was stirring within her, as the threat of imminent danger approached. The wounded man in front of him would find his left leg spiked as another blade-like solidified water shoots through the back of his knee, while the older, pink haired woman laughed softly.

"Fu, fu, fu...that's not very good at tring to get away.."[/color] the voice familiar to Rosa would taunt.

Rosaline was somewhat surprised as she found herself running into a young man she did not recognize. When he asked her to leave, she stared for a moment, trying to quickly analyze the situation. It was then that the boy was attacked by a seemingly invisible foe; however Rosaline definitely recognized the voice that followed.

The strangeness of the situation no longer mattered. If Rosaline wanted to act now was the time.

”Mother….please reveal yourself. I wish to talk to you.”

Although she was trying to ignore it, Rosaline felt strange. There had been the pain earlier, but in addition to that something else felt like it was stirring deep inside of her trying to find its way to the surface.

"I work as a miko part time; learning how to make these kinda comes with the gig"

Valdis flashed a grin that said she was proud of herself; however it was lost when Rosa suddenly stormed out. A look of concern was the only thing that was left on her face.

"I'm sorry...but if you'll excuse me friends come before pie. We really must take a rain check. But for your troubles"

Valdis pulled out another sticker and slapped it on the managers forehead.

"A friendship sticker for you as well"

With that Valdis slipped out of the booth and calmly walked through the door waving good bye. Once she was outside she made a b line for the alley way. As soon as she was out of few from the windows and the door she took off at a run until she was at Rosa's side. She gripped her friends shoulder with a firm grip, before patting it. An unspoken jester saying she was here for the teen. Her nerves were a lit to the oncoming danger, but she understood that Rosa needed to confront her mother. Valdis as a friend would do what she could to make sure that she stayed safe.

"You won't face her alone"

Rosa had been left to deal with so much on her own from her parents; Valdis would make sure she wouldn't have to go through this things alone again...Even if it did mean that she was likely to get stabbed multiple times in order to be there for the girl. Her violet eyes locked up towards the roof as lance jumped. She blinked when he politely asked Rosa to leave....was this the same guy at the Scorpio battle? It was like someone tranquilized him and while she agreed with his plea for her pink haired friend it was likely that wasn't going to happen.

"I think I like the oni better..."

She eyed him up and down...debating whether or not she should heal him now or after the fight finished... Kail seemed a bit giddy after she had healed him, and there was a risk that it might cloud his judgment in battle if she healed him now.

As the spike came out of nowhere Soma managed to move at he last moment causing the spike to enter into his lower leg. As it does he moves the spear to the spike causing it to shatter and Soma begins singing a low an sonorous tone and the wound begins to heal. A barrier of force surrounds Soma, and while it wouldn't stop the spikes from hitting him it would at least slow them down so he could reach.

"Listen, not for nothing, but even if this lady is your mom I think there are better circumstances under which you can have your reunion." Soma says in a calm logical voice. "But you really need to leave, I won't be able to stop her from hurting you." he says with a genuine plea. As he prepares for the next attack. Though as he does he begins singing again and both Val and Rosa would suddenly feel themselves flowing with incredible strength.

When Val says she prefers Oni he simply smiles at her and says. "I think the boy would say the same thing." He tells her in between verses as he prepares to begin combat.

Naoko finds herself strangely paralyzed by Valdis' 'friendship sticker' as the symbol's subtle power took a hold. She would be indisposed for at least a few minutes.

Back outside, the entity on top of the roof doesn't respond to Rosalinda's inquiry. In fact, she walks to the edge, looking down at the group below with disdain. Out of her back, no fewer than thirty of the 'spike tentacles' that she had been stabbing Eris Knight with all this time manifest and raise, arcing over her body and charging the entire group intending on skewering all three, regardless of the power that Soma had used, the sheer quantity would overwhelm in short order.

As they contact and approach Soma's sphere of influnce and nearly strike all three, a flash of gray occurs, halting the skewers that would have killed all three as a bubble of energy appears in front of Rosa, shimmering in the air as a wand-like object with the astrological symbol for Eris manifests...

Rosa would hear a voice in her head, urging her to pick up the item and say 'Eris Power Make Up'.

The entity blinks, shocked that her attack had been halted, but begins to stagger backward from the feedback as a strange energy begins to interfere with her own abilities. She steps back ten feet out of direct line of sight on the roof while letting the sensation pass.
