David stared at the tengu, then back to Nazo, then the tengu again. "Don't care," he answered. Turning to the tengu, he grumbled. "Either agree to be my eyes and ears, or die... it's up to you." Taking a few steps back, he tried to think the situation through.

It wasn't the brightest idea in the world, but there were reasons to kill, and this one had been neutralized.

The tengu looks up at Yinko and then at the other one. They were both terrifying and threatening. It decided though to listen to David. Maybe, if it was lucky, it would avoid the mind scanning...it was better than the guaranteed death that was going to happen. The tengu gets up when David steps back and looks at him.

"Squawwwk....I will remember this, human..." it grumbles, before flying off. Whether that meant the youma was grateul or vengeful, well that would remain to be seen if David ever encountered the creature again.

The masked man takes a thoughtful pose, and leans against a wall, looking at David through his mask. This one was quite interesting indeed.

"You let it go. Perhaps you will get along with your counterpart, Venus Senshi, better than I thought you might. Granted your reasons are very different, but it's certainly more mercy than I would have offered it." he says, then stepping forward and bowing halfway to David.

"My name, or at least the name others have given me is Nazo. I am certain you have questions about your situation. While it seems like you wished to get away from battle with the Covenant, I fear that fate has chosen to draw you into it again at the front lines. You have a unique gift, a gift that when combined with those of others, can purge the Covenant from this planet once and for all." Nazo says, then pausing and letting it sink in. The new knight could certainly do nearly anything right now, he seemed confrontational at his appearance. Perhaps he will storm off and say 'i'll do it my way' like others before have.

Forge your own path: quite the luxury, chuckled Nazo inwardly.

"Look, man," David started at Nazo, "there are times and reasons to kill." He let the message sink in, hoping there wasn't any further need for debate. "If you're really up to putting the Covenant out of commission, I haven't seen much of an organized effort. Everyone here has been trying to hide away from combat. As for me, I put in my time, and while I'm all for fighting the good fight, show me a group that can organize before I say yes."

"A fact I know all too well, fortunately almost any time is a good time for killing Covenant." he says with a slightly humored tone that had an underlying tone of complete seriousness. He then shrugs when David remarks about not having seen an organized effort.

"That is because there is no public organization, military, or the like. The Japanese Army are still living under the illusion of 'playing defensively will protect everyone's lives. The group I am speaking of would be branded as Vigilantes and arrested, or much more likely, dissected and experimented upon by a certain insane scientist who would like to remove them from the equation..." he says with a slight laugh before taking a couple of steps away.

"I will do you one better than merely showing you. In two days, a powerful entity will manifest in Shinjuku that the Guardians and the Senshi will have to handle. They will need your help in order to succeed. Look to the intersection of three and many souls to find your target and those who would bring salvation. I will see you again then." he says, as he begins to walk off and then disappears in a green flash.
