Kail silently walks into the dojo of Takebo Inada as he was referd to the person by Makoto Kino. The red head knew that his skills had gotten a bit rusty over a few years. He was ashamed at the same time proud that he was able to use his knowlage well when fighting as Exia the Mars Knight. Although Kail had hoped that he was not that rusty and had still some skill with the blade. He was dressed in training attire that was under the heavy coat that he was wearing. In one hand he carried a practice sword and the other a duffle bag that had a few things in there. "Excuse me is Takebo Inada in" he said not sure who this person was. Only just a word of mouth since that's all Kail heard from Kino-san and was not going to judge who his sensei was going to be.
Kail's hair was pulled back into a ponytail so it would not interfear with him while training. He then waits patiently for the sensei to show up or whoever was there.

"Inada is in the side dojo meditating, you might not want to bother him right now. He's a little eccentric" one of the other staff members says, wearing a kendo outfit and preparing to train a group of children.
Meanwhile in the side dojo, a wiry but toned older man sits in the dojo's center meditating. His bald head gleamed in the dim light of the room as a sheathed sword rested in his lap. His attire was a plain black training gi. Incense burned in front of him, a faint rosemary scent. The older man would not make a move until he was otherwise interacted with.

Kail knew it was not wise to approach a man while meditating , that and it was extremely rude to disturb someone while doing that. "I will wait until he is done, I dare not interrupt a man while honing his mind" he said and smelled the Incense burning. But in the mean time though he goes to an area where he would not disturb the class nor Inada. But at the same time be seen if the man stops his metatating.Kail takes the coat off and shows that he was wearing a gi top and hakama pants. The redhead pulls his hair back and ties it back with a hairband. He picks up his sword and starts doing several basic kata's as a small workout and get himself ready. Also letting his mind focus on what matters that were happening in his life.
His duties as a knight, a yojimbo in a sense to Valdis, and himself as a writer. Then on what to do on the Scorpio that took down two fellow knights. Without a shadow of a doubt that he would be there bigist problem for now. But he had to focus on himself right now on getting stronger then normal since more then likely he would be the next target. He now had to watch over most of the group out of the fact that he was the oldest of the group. Which in a sense gave him a elder brother look out to most of the girls. Exception to the group would be Valdis just due to her insanity and in a sense to look out for herself in some degree.

About an hour later, a loud voice could be heard.
"WHO DARES!"
A door is kicked open off it's hinges dramatically as the bald headed man looks about with a hand on his sword The man's eyes narrow as he looks around the room, while an instructor sighs and picks up a metal practice sword.
"He's going into one of his frenzies again...he thinks he can detect Covenant people and tends to chase after them..." the instructor says, walking toward Inada, while Inada effortlessly draws his sword and smacks away the practice weapon.
"You can't sense it! You are weak!" he shouts at the instructor, before turning to Killian. A sly grin crosses his face, as he takes a step back and raises his sword as if to lunge at him.
'On guard covenant!" he yells, leaping at Killian with surprising speed, his blade ready to come vertically at the young man.

Kail slightly raises an eyebrow when the man comes out in a rage and was looking like a man possessed by something. As one of the instructors had sighed and was planning to beat the master in with some sense. That was until he smacked the metal practice sword and spun on the floor by Kail's feet. Then he hears that Inaba could sense covenant and Kail was going to brush that aside. Until the man came after him screaming that he was apart of the covenant. This snapped the red head's attention as the man charged at him with a live blade. Kail picks up the metal practice sword as he knew that his wooden one would get sliced apart. So he desided to try and dual wield both practice blades "I am not but let us test our mettle to see the truth" declared Kail as he was not going to back down from this man. As with Martial Artists, when swordsmen clash with blades there spirit would speak of there intentions or there true natures
The gaijin swordsman steeled himself and did brought the metal practice sword up to block the attack and used the wooden one underneath the metal one to give it support. It was held in a x like cross like shape and was going to try and dig in and absourb the blow. Then use the force of that blow back at Inaba to force him back and try and make an opening for a counter attack on the frenzied man. The thought did come to mind if this man was able to sense his power as the Mars Knight.

While Killian was able to raise the blade to parry the attack from Inaba, he would feel a tremendous amount of force behind said blade, that would cause his muscles to strain and even his foothold to struggle to remain unmoving for a few seconds. Inaba simply smirked during the blade crash and hopped to the side when Killian decided to push back, spinning around to slash at Killian's leg.
"Evil Begone!" he shouts midswing, while the other instructor was terrified, he watched in awe at just how perfect Inaba's sword technique was. The flow and momentum plus the rapid redirection of kinetic energy from the first blocked attack, there was a true sense of mastery with Inaba's swordplay, even if Killian felt his life was very much in danger.

Kail was feeling the strain as he strained to keep his hold or at least grip on the flooring. This man's power was off the charts and there was a tingle that went down his spine. As this man was going to kill, since the man saw him as covenant. The red head's mind switched from friendly sparing to survival mode. After pushing away on the attack he saw Inaba hopped to the side for another attack to go for his leg. Kail waited a bit in a few seconds and timed his movement. He spinned out of the way but got a light cut to his leg but it allowed Inaba to get within his striking range. With the centripical force Kail swung with all of his might to land a heavy blow with the metal practice sword. If the first blow was blocked Kail would let the other sword he was wielding would land a blow as well.
The light within his eyes showed that he was only fighting to only defend himself. As his sword strikes had the same feeling. There was no ill feelings, Kail was only fighting not to die. But at the same time there was a feeling of fury as he was not with or a part of the covenant feeling. A unjust persecution by this man.

Inaba ducked the high blow that came at first, Inaba spinning his own blade around and catching the second strike on the hilt of his sword. His eyes met with Killian's for a moment, and then he exhaled and relaxed with a nod, pushing the blades away and sheathing his own.
"You pass. They say you don't really know a man until you draw his blood." Inaba says, then turning and walking to the dojo room that he had originally emerged from, leaving his back exposed to Killian. Perhaps a sign of swordsman trust. Perhaps overconfidence. Who knew?
When he disengaged, he then began to walk out a side door to a small, private clearing of the dojo. Outside in the alley area, there was a large number of objects such as broken down cars and small stone walls. The man sat outside and waited to see if Killian would follow.
Meanwhile, the first swordsman sighs and looks at Killian, his hand behind his head kind of embarrassed at Inaba's antics.
"Sorry man, Inaba is a genius but quite frankly a little...bent." he says, then looking at where Inaba went back to his dojo with a sigh. "If you go in there, good luck." the instructor says, walking off on his own business.
When Killian inevitably follows, Inaba doesn't turn to face him. He speaks in a firm, decisive tone when he hears the footsteps and the scent of blood approaches.
"So. You are the one that Makoto told me about. I can sense something different in you, yet not truly evil. Great potential for both good and for evil. The question I have to ask...why do you think I should help you hone your skills? What makes you think you are capable of keeping up with a master swordsman?"

Kail's face twitched slightly at Inaba's remark about getting the firstblood on someone. Then he starts to walk off with his back towards him. Normaly the red head would have continued the fight but a few things prevented him from doing this. One was the fact that this man utterly and totally outmatched him in strength, speed, and skill. There were a few others but that main reason that was in Kail's mind. He dropped the metal practice sword to the ground. And left the other one next to his bag as one of the teachers came up to him. "I can tell he is a bit of an odd one" he said and gave the instructor a nod of his head and follows Inaba to his meditation spot and takes a seat in front of the man.
Once he did the man spoke about him and why he should teach him at all. A valid question for Kail which took him a few minutes to give a proper answer. "My power or what you can sense can either bring me destruction or salvation. Its up to me on how its used. But as to why you would even consider trying to teach me.......I will be blunt with you. Right now I am one of the few people that can fight the covenant. And right now my skills have become dull after not being in use for so long. I have an enemy to defeat and people to protect. And from what just happened earlier shows how much I have fallen" he said to Inaba. For some they would think that he was just as insane Inaba. But for Inaba though Kail was being honest and was not bullshitting man. This man deserved a straight and honest answer. Since the man asked him a equaly straight and honest question.

The man is silent for a moment, before nodding with a grunt, as he walks into the snow, the wooden shoes beneath his feet clicking along the ice and ground beneath, before he stops in front of a car, about ten feet away. His eyes closed, he reaches to grab his sword.
"Very good. You answer the call of a Samurai, using your strength for the greater good. You have honor in your heart, and courage in your soul. It is rare, especially in young people these days. I will set you on the path of bushido...to not only regain what you think you have lost, but to far surpass it." he says, then tightening his grip and stance. Killian would hear a quick flash of movement and steel, along with the sound of a grinding cut. A few moments later, the car would slump over, having been carved into two pieces from a single blow.
The man turns to Killian and narrows his eyes.
"This was no feat of magic...power...kami...or whatever else you want to call it. This is the results of perfect focus, technique, discipline, and skill. Japan lost something precious when it went to what you call 'modern warfare'. It lost a time when the spirit of a man was it's greatest weapon. That result was shown with the fruits it bore when Sapporo was lost." he says grumpily, possibly having had some kind of past connection to Sapporo.
"My path is not easy, it is not conventional, and it is not for the faint of heart. Makoto would not send you to me if she felt you were weak. But if your word is true, you need my training. The decision is ultimately yours whether to take the harder path."

Kail was pleased at the fact that this man accepted his answer. Even saying that he was walking the path of a samurai. Which was a irony since he was a total gaijin compaired to most other people. But took that praise with a bit of pride. But the red head watches and listens to Inaba as he continues speaking, while he had his sword in his hands. Then saw something that was awe inspiring as well as put the fear of god into him. As Inaba sliced a car in half with just his pure skill and spirit. This made Kail feel though that his power would be massively increased. Not only that put the fear into his enemies with just using his blade only.
Kail gets up and walks to Inaba "No path is easy to walk, to improve ones self. One must earn this through blood, sweat, and tears. I need to get stronger to give a brighter future not only for myself but others. So when do we begin" said Kail as he was not going to back away now. It would be cowardly and would be letting down a lot of people. Including the man in front of him, willing to teach him and get him on a better path.

The old man simply nods with closed eyes, before opening them and staring at Killian in the eye. His fingers twitched for a moment, which might make the redhead believe he was about to draw his sword to another abrupt attack, but he then turns to the outskirts of Tokyo's general direction before pointing his finger.
"...We will begin in a few days. The nineteenth unless there is a problem of some sort. I want you to be able to draw your full strength to bear without fear of repercussions. I don't know what you've got in you, but I imagine it's not something you just openly show everyone. I have an old dojo out there that I did my self-training at before the accursed blizzard locked us in year round. It took fifteen miles in the snow to get back to the city and my home..." he grumbles annoyedly. Killian might notice that while he had an incomparable spirit, the old man was just as vulnerable to some of the cliche sentiments about the elderly.
"Anyway young man, we are done for today. I give you what you kids call...homework. Practice your blade, but you must empty your mind and swing it with every ounce of force and will. Leave no room for thought, because thinking about it only diminishes your power. Sharpen your blade and treat it like you would your loved ones: it is the only thing between you and death in a battle." he says, then turning and walking past him, back into the warmth of the main building.
When he passed Killian however, he then touches his shoulder with his empty hand.
"...You strike me as the type who already has a glass half-full. If you want to achieve you potential, you will come to me with an empty glass, or my lessons will be overflow and wasted." he states simply, then walking into the building, shivering a little bit from the snow outside. Killian could certainly make any remarks or actions, or leave of his own accord, but Inaba seemed to be done unless Killian needed something.
