When Kaguya sat down, a man behind one of the two way mirrors smiles. This one would do nicely. Far more than the trickle method that was overly ambitious and caused a problem. The owner was getting distrustful at this point. Soon he would take action to protect his stupid little store. His time was running out with this facade: it was time to collect this bountiful energy this one had and disappear.

The time to act was now.

The manager walks in and then looks at Kaguya.

"You've caused me quite a bit of trouble young lady. Troublesome young ladies have to deal with severe consequences. I'm afraid I have to remove you..." the man says, before his smile turns into a fanged grin.

"...From the living." he growls. His body begins to grow, raising to a height of eight feet, while the skin turns a dull red. His body becomes surrounded in shadowy clothing, his head obscured by a black cowl. The creature's long arms extend as black orbs of supernatural energy begin to manifest. Kaguya would feel as though her vitality were being drained from her body, and that she was in a distinct and profound danger.

Kaguya was glad someone showed up and that it was the manager and her eyes slowly went to slits. She was about to say something until the guy spoke. It creeped her out a bit and that was until the man transformed into a monster and it filled her with a bit of terror. As the man was one of the covenant freaks. She then feels her energy being slowly drained from her. Knowing she was more then likely going to die or end up a freak like that guy. Kaguya was going to fight back "Like hell I am going to roll over for you like a blond in the horror movies" she said and grabed the table and with her freakish strength picks it up and smashes it against the creature's body. Her plan was to at least stun the creature and then use one of the chairs to break the mirrored window and run like hell.

This hinged on if she could stun the monster and then get the heck out of there. If that failed Kaguya would try and use whatever strength she had. And fight the thing or die trying since this thing was going to end her life.

The creature simply smashes the table away into the wall and then lunges quickly, picking Kaguya up by the throat, lifting her off the ground. A wicked, toothy grin rises on his face as he begins to more rapidly drain her energy by contact. The strength and grip of the monster tightens, and Kaguya would quickly realize that nothing she could do might make a difference right now. Moments before she would blank out, the creature's eyes glow for a moment, before it drops her and then growls.

"...Cancer you had better have a good reason for this...interrupting me in the middle of my meal, how rude.." it snarls as it went towards the doorway, slowly shifting back to human form. "I'll be back for you later...rest up, there will be tenderizing ahead.." the creature states with a chuckle, slamming the door and locking it, leaving a drastically weakened Kaguya in the room alone...

About two minutes after the creature man left, a green flash of light would occur in the room that Kaguya was in as a tall man in a tattered black robe with dark green armor one shade above black would manifest. His face would be completely obscured with a mask that only white hair peeks out of every so often.

"...I see now...they have some kind of cloaking here. No wonder I couldn't sense anything until now. Saaaa...how annoying...." he says, then leaning against the wall and looking at the pink haired girl on the ground.

'Come now, wake up if you wish to not be a dead meat puppet. I fear you inadvertently wandered into the den of the lion on this one. In fact I probably wouldn't have gotten here in time if the old man didn't nag at me..." he says with a slight, sarcastic sigh. "...Thank the god of time for that one..."

Kaguya did not expect this to happen and was caught off guard by this attack. As he held her, the pink haired girl struggled as much as she could. Trying to be defiant to the end as she felt her life force being drained. As death was slowly coming to get her she heard the thing teleport away and fell against the wall. Kaguya was slowly trying to keep her eyes going and try and get back up but felt really weak. Then a man dressed like a grim reaper or kamen rider warps in and begins to talk to her. "First....some monster is trying to kill me and then you pop out of no where. Can my day get any worse.....wait scratch that...it will" she said and slowly tries to stand back up. Although she did stand the girl was resting against the wall and looked at the creepy guy in the armor.

"......Ok.....how am I going to get the hell out of here" said Kaguya as she was now off the wall but still drained. So a few times she would brace an arm against the wall to keep her steady. "And from that monolog your some kind of super hero.....or I am on drugs" she said trying to make sense of this.

"...It would have if I didn't come. You would simply be dead approximately three hours later." the masked man says nonchalantly before having a slight, muffled chuckle. "Superhero? Far from it. I am more like...the middle management of time itself. Don't ask." he says, then looking at Kaguya from behind his mask.

"You were pulled in here because you have a gift, a gift that to certain...creatures...is easily noticeable and makes you a target if not handled properly. To them, you are a feast of exquisite meats and wines relative to the energies of those around them. However, you can use that energy yourself to quite handily slay monsters like that, with the correct guidance of course."

"Haha very funny.....ok whatever G Man" said Kaguya as she slowly gets some of her energy back and was getting a bit stronger. But still overall the girl felt like she went through the worst fight she had ever went through. Then she hears his explanation as to why they were coming after her. At first it felt like a bad cliché explanation for a super hero. Then if she had that gift, was that the reason that she went through hell as a little girl. She then looks at the masked guy "....If I were feeling stronger I would be smashing your face into my knee right now. Because I have a few questions your going to be answering for me" she said and then stands fully without the need to brace herself.

"Alright so what do I need to do to get this power. Since I am not going to last long against big red there or his buddies" she said and wanted to kick the monster's ass and get the hell out of the mall and go home. Since she was going to need the time to not go insane and curl up into a ball. Or just devour the rest of the bag of candy she stashed away for a day like this.

"..So diplomatic." Nazo says with a roll of his shoulders before he reaches and touches Kaguya's shoulder upon her inquiry of what she had to do to get her power. On contact, Kaguya would feel a chill down her spine, along with a strange sense of overwhelming presence. A part deep inside of her would come to realize that there was far more to this tan she was seeing right now.

"First...you rest, and then when you have recovered we can set you up with a cat who will explain it a little better. You are not adequate to fight the entities here, and I put emphasis on the plural to reflect the fact I don't want to see a feisty woman throw her life away needlessly when she is one of the keys to the salvation of this world..." he says, and with that along with a lack of warning, Kaguya and Nazo would teleport out of the room. She would feel as if her entire essence were put into an infentesimally small point, and then reconstructed elsewhere. For now, she would feel incredibly ill, but when she was reformed and the teleport had finished, she would find herself at a Shinto shrine, the famous Hikawa Temple.

"Waaa......What in the hell" said Kaguya as she felt the touch of Nazo on her and then the surge of some sort of energy. It was plainly weird for her and it was something she could not really comprehend. She was about to ask something the guy went on to something else on why she could not fight these things. Well duh she knew when she was outgunned in this situation. Plus saying she was one of a few people to fight against the covenant. With a sickening sensation going in her gut, She was transported somewhere else. To a temple and gives Nazo a very dirty look "Give me some damn warning, Or I will kick your ass" she said while trying to get her barrings again.

Kaguya then looks around her and she sees temple in front of her "Why are we here..." she said and was just looking dumbfound and confused. Since she was still trying to wrap her head on all that happened to her today.

" 'Thank you for saving my life from certain death, thanks to your decisive actions I get to live another day and not be the meal of some kind of freamy monster'." Nazo retorts in response to Kaguya's snarky attitude. To be entirely honest, the constant belittling and threats of violence were getting old, senshi or not this one was going to have to learn a lesson in the worst kind of way if she didn't straighten up her attitude. He says, then looking up at the shrine as the snow begins to fall.

"...Because here is where monsters dare not tread. The priestess here is competent individual whom can assist you in recovering your exhausted spiritual and physical energy. Whether you can claim your new abilities however, that might be problematic..." he muses as he begins to ascend the steps, intending Kaguya to follow.

Kaguya sighed a bit and looked quite vexed and rubbed the bridge of her nose with two fingers. "Look, I am sorry...first someone bumps into me and does not appologise to me. Then I go talk to the guy for an apology. He ignors me and I make it a point that I should not be ignored. After that get stopped by security, then nearly die from having the life sucked out of me by a demon. Finally I get warped by being imploded. I have not had a good day.....But thank you...you really did save my life" she said and by the end of her rant. The pink haired young lady was thankful that Nazo did save her life at that moment. So she did owe him for that, and would have to think of something to show her appreciation.

As Kaguya calms herself down she hears what Nazo said about the temple. "I see and why would it be a problem for me to claim this power" she asked and then remembered something off the top of her head. "I'm Hoshigane Kaguya and your name" she asked Nazo since she never got to that point after nearing dieing.

"I never did like it when somebody adjusts what they say or at least present themselves at because of some kind of expectation of society or human behavior. The original reaction is at least honest." he says believing more that Kaguya's initial reaction reflected her true character far more so than the retraction and apology that was made. Nazo had a belief that if someone was truly sincere then that would have been the first reaction.

No matter, a senshi is a senshi. Alive is always better than dead. There is no reason to deny the others the strength of a new ally. At least if things turn out correctly.

"There are those who call me Nazo. I was given no name up until the point that I was imposed the aforementioned. And the problem with you claiming your power is this. I sense a strong bond with the Earth, the ability to wield the rock, stone, and plant of the world while acting as a beacon of hope in a dying world. However, the male guardian and counterpart to your position was critically wounded in a battle against what humanity calls a 'Zodiac' level member of the 'Covenant'. The Earth's spare energy is currently being spent on healing him, and to awaken you might disrupt that right now. However, I am certain in the near future there will be no future problem with your own ability." he says, pausing and turning to look in the distance at the dark clouds overhead. Snow begins to fall over the landscape as he adjusts his posture to a more serious one. His tone deepens and he speaks more quietly.

"But how badly do you want a power to make a difference? It will challenge every aspect of life you have lived to this point. Your life will constantly be in danger, and you have a strong chance of being unhappy as a part of carrying out your duties. You will become a target for the Covenant, and should you falter in your resolve you will lose the protection Gaea would bestow upon you. I have seen a pacifist reluctantly dragged into a position of war, where every action she makes to defeat the enemy causes great pain. How do you plan to handle such an adjustment?"

"Eh cut that out will ya, I'm not some totally raging demon that wants to pound everyone to death for some reason. I am sure you didn't want me to constantly berate you. That's unless your into that thing then whatever" said Kaguya as she rolled her eyes a bit and then hears Nazo give his name. She also hears on why she could not claim her power right at that moment and could understand. Plus there would be others out there that were like her in a sense. "Yeah.....I can understand that, I don't want to inavertantly kill one of my allies" she said and was next thinking over the rest of what Nazo was saying to her. Plus everything else that the man said to her and took her time to speak.

"A very good question to ask......Through out my life I have always been in danger due to my own classmates. I never knew why they went out of there way to hate me. I know that there were some stupid juvenile reasons. But what you said about the Covenant coming after me in the mall it made me wonder. Were other people aware of this power" she said and tuned to the path that led down the street. She did sound serious but also musing as well, perhaps a bit more then just an angry girl. Kaguya continues her thoughts on the matter.

"I already know how it is to be targeted by people. So my life has been a constant battle to live in a sense. So its not much of a difference, perhaps with this power I can understand why I was born in this world. Plus the fact that the Covenant are just a new group of bullies with a different name but the same face. Making peoples lives just horrible and unlivable. So all in all I just have a new enemy to deal with in my life" Kaguya said as she herself was going into some deeper thoughts and meaning in her life.

"I am simply realistic. I see the world for what it is, and not what human ideas compel us to focus on." he says showing his aloofness as he pauses a little and chuckles a little. "It's also more amusing to me to see the reactions like that, since most people don't expect their apologies to be analyzed so directly and bluntly. Mind you, I never claimed to be normal in the way you might consider." he says with slight joy in that statement, maybe even a sense of pride about being a little different. The snows blow more heavily and begin to accumulate a mass of white on the dark shroud and armor of Kaguya's savior.

"I think people can be just cruel sometimes. Most people cannot sense Senshi Energy. Or perhaps they could sense something different. Does it matter? It sounds like your past experiences made you a better person for it, burned away the imperfections you saw in yourself." he says as something begins to rustle about under the robe, and a moment later Solstice the beloved ferret would pop her head out from the neckline of the robe and stare at Kaguya blankly, arfing a little in her ferret tones. But when Kaguya declared it was just a new enemy to deal with, Nazo shrugged slightly.

"An enemy trying to kill you this time however, I somehow get the feeling you weren't going to be targeted with an intent to kill with whoever your other experiences were with in the past." he says with a small shrug as he walks forward and approaches the prayer shrine, closing his hands together and ringing the bell. He makes a silent wish, before he releases the prayer position and then looks at Kaguya.

"Why don't you make a prayer? Make a wish for what it is your heart desires. This particular land is blessed, you never know what may happen with your inherent bond." he says calmly, stepping to a side and sitting down, while Solstice crawled out and patrolled across Nazo's cloak to the other shoulder, watching the pink haired girl with interest.

Kaguya shrugged a bit and raised her arms a bit "Each to his own human or not" said Kaguya as she saw the masked man chuckle a bit after catching what she said. There was a slight bemused grin on her face. But then she hears something that Nazo said about what happened to her saying that it made her stronger. In a sense it did but at the same time it also unleashed a more wild nature within her. "What I had to deal with in the past and now with the Covenant. Is that both in a sense out to harm me and others. I know the stakes are much more grander, my life and the fate of this planet, and many others. I can see the seriousness around me with this eternal frost" she said as again she saw things a bit simply. The Covenant were again a new enemy she had to deal with in her life.

"A prayer.....hahahahah" she laughed a bit bitterly at the thought of beliving in a higher power. As where was god when she needed him the most in several times when her life as a child was hell. "Forgive me Nazo on that. Most of my childhood I had faith in a higher power to try and save me. After awhile it felt like it was falling deft ears. One day I got fed up and took things into my own hands. My own miracle that I made to change things" she said oddly opening to this stranger for her anyway. She walks over and opens up her hand for the ferret to smell her hand. Letting the tiny animal see if she was a threat or not. "But after today though....its making me think that there is something out there. That can change ones fortunes...there fates" she said to Nazo.

She used her free hand to ring the bell gently and then used the other for a prayer. One of the things that she hoped for in her life. Was just a normal teenage life with friends and not worried about being a target.
