Seibu!

A testament to retail success and longevity, this giant has prospered in the years since the rise of the Obelisks. The smaller businesses that this giant would compete with gradually declined and faded away into nothingness. Even the infamous American super center giant who's name has become a social taboo hasn't been able to compare to the success. While some small shops complain incessantly, few can deny that Seibu's benefits outweigh it's detriments. From youth employment to reasonable prices on a wide variety of items, it had it all.

The structure of the building was closer to a mall than a typical retail outlet. Smaller shops inside along with specialty shops that competitors rent out inside provide variety and services that Seibu itself doesn't accommodate. Even a food court and a modest recreation center with games and a small roller coaster for children could be found.

Within the store, a massive number of shoppers were trying to take advantage of the great deals. A tall management member smiles as the numerous men and women greedily snatched up special sales tags that were up to 50% off. As time went on, people would begin to feel very sleepy, and indeed there were a few sleeping individuals in the food court.

Over the course of the day, more people would fall asleep, and then abruptly many more fall into a deep, deep sleep. When one of them doesn't awaken from Seibu Security Staff nudging them, the paramedics are called in to a scene where no less than a hundred shoppers are suffering from extreme fatigue. The manager of the shop frowns and resolves to have it looked into, calling a maintenance member into the building. The store is closed for the day and the customers evacuated.

The next day, it was reported there was a gas leak of some sort where there was something in the air, yet not enough to cause any real damage. Medical treatments are paid for by Seibu while the store is repaired quickly, and reopened four days later with the sale continuing as a means of apologizing the community for the trouble involed. Meanwhile the manager simply smiles the whole time and seems to be an ideal spokesperson for the shareholders of Seibu in the minor crisis.

The reopening gives vouchers for 20% additional off on anything through the store up to two items and a free meal voucher. The free perks are more than enough to insure that the mall-like building is at full capacity throughout the day.

Kaguya in the mood to do some shoping on a massive discounted sale, she was not going to miss out on this. She was in need of some new clothes as well as some other things. She had wanted to take up some skill on trying to make some clothes or at least a cosplay outfit. Since there was going to be a event soon for it and the pink haired girl wanted to give it a shot. For now she had to avoid the mass of other people within some of the stores since there were massive swarms of people in some of the higher end chain stores. As the girl walked about, there was something going off in the back of her head. To have some caution of the area around her, this intuition had gotten her out of some sticky situations in a fight.

She walks by a music store and walks in just browsing the shelves and goes by the woodwind section of the store that had all of the flutes and other instruments of that nature. Kaguya had never picked up a musical instrument in her life but was thinking about it as a hobby.

A sales associate walks up to Kaguya while she was browsing and looks at her with a casual customer service expression. The guy was a typical, eighteen year old clerk who was making the rounds and trying to wade through the masses. The evacuation and reopening sale brought open a lot of people to the store today. The guy then saw another girl browsing the instruments. Hopefully she wouldn't break a string again, the male says looking at his fingertip covered by bandage annoyed.

He supposed he should go talk to her. Putting on his best retail smile he can, he approaches her and starts the ever redundant script.

"Welcome to Seibu Music, anything in particular I can help you locate?"

"I am just looking around, although I am thinking of picking up a instrument. And I am thinking of a flute or something of that nature. Do you have something for beginers" asked Kaguya as she was jumped by the customer service guy. For now she was going to go for something basic and then if she got better then she would get something better. She was surprised by the amount of people there at the store or even at the mall. Although that was expected due to the massive sales going on. But none the less she was going to make the best of it.

The sales rep inwardly rolled his eyes. He always hated when customers came in here without knowing exactly what they wanted. It means they had a good chance of coming back a day or two later and saying it wasn't what they wanted and ergo demanded a refund, which of course Seibu would handle promptly for customer satisfaction. A job's a job.

"Well certainly, we have some basic models such as the Seibu BF Series of instruments, suitable for all ages of instruction and approximately 7500 yen with the sale going on today." he says calmly. At this point, a rather rotund man bumps into Kaguya without so muc as an apology, the size of the man adequate enough to stagger her a few inches.

"I see, do you also sell beginner books for those that are trying to get into...." said Kaguya as she was also trying to see if the sales guy could help her more. Since she did not want to waste her money like crazy or anything. Since it was a tad pricy but it was a investment and was going to speak more. Until a really big man knocked her out of the way. Kaguya was able to keep her balance. But she looked at the big man that was walking away. She was angry and looked at the sales guy "Excuse me, I will talk to you later. I have something to take care of"she said in a apologetic tone of voice.

Then she went after the big guy and grabs him by the shoulder "Hey buddy I think you owe me an apology for nearly knocking me over" she said in a really pissed off tone of voice. It was not loud but it was filled with fury and venom. If she hoped that this guy would stop, Kaguya did not want to get violent. But if this guy was a jerk then he was going to get what he deserved.

"Yeah we have..." the clerk starts but then she scampered off to deal with the fat customers. The clerk's lecherous eyes couldn't help but to watch the girl's figure as she walked off, only to have him whacked b a female manager for doing so that blatantly.

The large man turns to look at Kaguya and frowns, staring at her. His eyes narrow, but he ignores her and turns back to what he was doing, looking at classical musical albums. He didn't even feel the girl's presence against him, but he didn't like her attitude either. It was better to ignore these kinds of anklebiters.

Or so he would think.

Kaguya's face kept the same look on it and it really did fuel her anger. So in her typical way she forcivly spins the guy around so that the big man would be facing her. Kaguya's right arm moves like a snake and grabs the guy's ear and sharply turns it to the point that there would be a massive amount of pain going through this man's body. With this though, Kaguya brings the man's face down to her level "That was me asking nicely. This is when you ignore me. Now I think you owe me an apology, if you do not. I will kick you in the balls repeatedly until there crushed. And you no long have any balls to use" to make her message and her threat real she twists his ear a lot more. She did not want to be this mean, but she was ignored and no apology was given. The man had to learn his manners with people.

"I will carry out my threat and if your thinking that I can not back this threat up? Let me twist your ear a bit more" she said and gave another twist to make her point. The large man had it coming to him this time. As Kaguya was not a dainty looking girl but more of a deadly beast with a cute face.

The large man was needless to say taken by surprised when this lithe young woman suddenly had the strength to spin him around and then pulled down to the level of the young woman. The large man's eyes pop out when his ear is grabbed, and he stutters to respond to Kaguya's threat. Was this really necessary for some kind of insulted pride or some kind of arbitrary thing that happens at random? The large man barrels out of the way and panicked runs out of the store, only mumbling in some kind of gibberish, leaving Kaguya even with her strength and hostility behind. Surprising how quickly a person can run when they feel threatened.

Kaguya saw the fear in the man's eyes and let him go after he ran off like a kicked puppy. She sighed slightly as she did it again to someone. Her fury got to her about being ignored and pushed around like a nobody. But it was still his fault that the man ignored her like that after asking for a simple apology and pushing her out of the way. She then looks around and gives a glare all around and goes back to find the sales guy that was helping her earlier. But after what happened though it placed a sour taste in her mouth. So Kaguya desided to leave the store to find something else of intrest.

When Kaguya exited the store, she would hear a shrill shout a distance away.

"There she is! The one who attacked me in the music store!" a familiar, large man would say about a hundred feet away, talking to a pair of security personnel. They frown as if they didn't entirely believe the man, but they had to investigate all the same to at least give on the appearance of doing something.

"...Riko, go check the security footage.." one says as he walks towards Kaguya, looking at her with a sigh. The guard looks her up and down sizing her up, before then glaring at the man.

"Mr Tenabama says that you attacked him in the store for no reason. Is that true?"

Kaguya turned to the rent a cops that were walking up to her and sighed and turned to the guy. "The man knocked me over and did not apologize to me. Then when I asked for an apology he ignored me as if I was just a fly. So I made sure that he was not going to ignor me. Is it so hard to get an apology from someone these days" she said to the guard as it would be pointless to run in a sense. It would make matters if she ran when they spotted her. The look on her face was that she was not amused at all by this. "I could equaly call grounds for assault by this man" she said looking and pointing at the large man.

"I see...let's just see what the cams have to say.." the first guard says boredly. He had a feeling that this was being blown way, way out of proprotion, but yet he had to sit here and pretend to care about this problem. The unfortunate reality of the labor world. When Riko comes back and quietly whispers to him about the contents, the first guard's expression sours to a frown.

"...Look, you over-reacted to something that was nothing. Just don't do it again or I'll have to kick you out.." the guard says, until his earpiece buzzes and he seems to focus on hearing it for a moment, before then turning back to Kaguya.

"Scratch that...the owner and head of security want you in the security office. They are declaring it an assault on their property and they want to hear your side before they decide to press charges or not. Please come with us.." the guard states.

Assuming Kaguya complies, they would lead her to the security office through one of the staff only hallways, and usher her into a room that looked a lot like an interrogation room, which in and of itself might have been slightly odd.

Of course, if she reacted differently, well that's part of the fun.

Kaguya just sighed and waited until they were done doing the video review on what happened. She just continualy gave a glare to the man that started this entire thing in the first place. Then the other guy comes walking back out whispering something. They were just going to give her a slap on the wrist which was fine with her. That was until there superiors gave the order to bring her in. "That is just insane...they really want to make me an example. This is stuff I hate the most.....I will come along to get this over with" she was much more angry then she was now. If she ever saw that large man again. He would be humiliated the next time she saw him. None the less she followed the two guards to a holding area.

Once inside the room she sat down and was waiting for the two morons to show up. She was not amused at all and was already planning to do something. On either if she got out freely or got arrested, none the less that store was going to get hit hard on social networks.
