The bow disappears as Sophia grabs the fire extinguisher and returns to greet the youma. Lance seemed ok if a bit charred. She’d get around to fixing that and the MP after she got rid of the threat. She douses the youma with the fire extinguisher before dropping the canister when it is empty. “I thought I was human…” She didn't really think that being a senshi changed her human-ness. In the haze of smoke of the extinguisher, she says, “Bow of Eros.” As the bow reforms in her hands, she pulls back and releases another arrow of light at where the youma stood.

She yells at Lance, “Guns won’t be all too effective. If you really want to hurt her, talk to talking cat!” She starts moving, waiting for another opening to shoot another arrow at the youma.

Lance doesn't take his eyes off the youma as the battle continues and he tries firing again as the Youma remains out of reach. However without looking away he shouts. "Well cat if you've got something to say, say it! I don't have time to pay attention to a stray and this fight!"

Artemis looks up, having cringed when the boy got hit by the fire blast and yet somehow making it out relatively unscathed. It nods and then the crescent glows above it's head, as a bubble of energy manifests between itself and the cat. Within would be an object of power that provides Lance a distinct connection with his latent potential.

"Pick it up, and the words to turn into an avatar of power will come to you. I'm not familiar with your particular energy pattern..." the white mau says, while in Lance's head, the words 'Eris Knight Power' seem to resonate from within as a faint whisper from the depths of his soul.

Meanwhile, the youma, simply spins around the bullets that Lance had fired gracefully with the full strength and ability of a dancer. When Sophia decided to spray it with a fire extinguisher, it flailed almost comically in the smoke and chemical coming from the extinguisher, before it falls down under the arrow that was fired in front of Sophia, trying to raise a hand, but the extinguisher made ignition unusually difficult for it right now, and only a small flame manifested.

"Damn it!" she shouts in an almost whiny voice, then having an aura of flame manifest around her, as she charges Sophia with every intent of grabbing her and jamming her head in the snow to suffocate her from burning the oxygen around in the air should she do nothing to defend herself.

The fact that extinguisher douses the fire brings Sophia a sense of relief. Getting burnt looked terrible after all. She’d also done some significant damage. Feeling more confident, she figures she can probably end the fight quickly without Lance getting involved until the youma prepares to charge her. “Ummm… crap.” Sophia realizes why she misses fighting with other people: she’s terrible in a straight-up fight. She picks up the fire extinguisher canister and holds it like a bat to swing it at the youma’s head with about all the strength a teenage girl could muster. However, she’s pretty sure that’s not going do much other than piss the youma off. Speaking to Lance, “Please help…”

Lance begins backing up until he reaches the object while the youma is floundering. When he picks up the object it initially turns into a ring. However as Lance's bloodlust and aggression mix with the ring it get turns into a chain with a dark aura. "Eris Knight Power!" He shouts and the change occurs the chain turns into a set of manacles chained together, Lance's skin takes on a bright red color and the whites of his eyes turn red. His hair becomes snow white and all of his muscles tense and he seems to grow slightly larger.

His street cloths are replaced with battered and broken black leather armor and black fur outlines the rims of his outfit. However the biggest thing to change about Lance is his aura, it because bestial and terrifying. If someone were to look at the Eris Knight now he would appear more a youma than a knight or man.

"GRAAHHHHHH!" He lets out a roar as the monster awakens and with a strong pull of it's arms the chain binding the shackles break and it stands up straight, though slightly hunched forward in a predatory posture. The monster lets out another roar and it seems to grow stronger as the 'War Chant' ability activates. The burns it's covered in heal and Lance suddenly dashes towards the youma with hatred, cruelty, and violence as his purpose. This was a monster who's reason to exist was to kill other monsters.

Sophia is very sure that whatever celestial powers granted people their planetary affiliations has been sort of messed up since Kenji went into to a coma. First there was David… and now this. Changing into a corrupted creature yourself didn’t really seem like common knight protocol after all. “ARTEMIS, WHAT WENT WRONG?!”

Sophia’s grip tightens on the fire extinguisher… “Stay back!” She’s swinging somewhat wildly in front of her, hoping to fend off both the fire youma and the “knight”, if you could call it that. She’s feels very unprepared for taking on two monsters at the same time. Perhaps, she should run and call for back-up? Should she make an ofuda like Rei showed her and attempt to tape it to the knight’s head? That didn’t seem to do much for Valdis though.

She drops the extinguisher as the "knight" charges the fire youma. A knight is still a knight, she guesses, even if somewhat tainted, corrupted, or what have you. "Bow of Eros" she calls. The weapon forms in her hands. She backs away from the two creatures and aims at the fire youma.

Artemis shook his head, not sure. This was unprecedented in many ways. Eris...a planetary power that had not ever been heard of as a host of a senshi in the past, now there was this guardian whom was turning into something of a monster? Yet, it seemed fixated on the youma and ergo would for now at least help Sophia. Artemis could sense no evil, the white mau just hoped that his instincts were not wrong.

The youma meanwhile is made aware of Lance's approach a few feet away when he quickly closed the gap. With a snarl, the monster leaps above the approaching Lance, with Sophia in the way. Above, the youma formed the largest fireball it could manifest and launches below hoping to catch both, though the potency was diminished due to the dust still on her from Sophia's extinguisher.

Oni grabs the fire extinguisher as he runs up and immediately jumps in pursuit of the youma. As the fireball comes down Oni lets out another roar and a shield of force surrounds him protecting him from the flames, but some of the heat still comes through scortching and charring the monsters skin as it swings the heavy extinguisher at the youma's head.

Sophia’s out of tricks, and getting set on fire wasn’t in her plans. She darts behind a car, and out of the way of the charging path of the monstrous knight. She crawls underneath the car to take a glimpse at the action. Evidently, the tactic hadn’t changed much for Lance as she peeks from underneath the car, hitting the youma with an empty fire extinguisher.

“Bow of Eros”, she says aiming the bow at the youma. She releases an arrow from her prone position, praying it will hit. Hopefully, they could end this somewhat quickly. That MP needed her attention still, and she needed to determine what was up with this new knight. However, if Artemis wasn’t worried, perhaps he wasn’t nearly as menacing as he looked.

The youma was startled at the fact the fire blast wasn't even phasing the brute, and before it knew it, it was knocked to the ground by Oni's violent attack. This time, fear began to enter the monster's heart as the superior beast was poised for the kill. Sophia's arrow is errant due to the youma being knocked over, and flies toward Oni's right shoulder.

Sophia’s a little surprised by the strength of the new knight. Also, all the others had weapons, but improvised weapon and fists seemed to be working for him fine. As she lets loose the arrow, it becomes apparent to her that she has miscalculated. “Watch out!” she yells to Lance. If he summoned another shield, he could probably deflect it. She starts to climb out from underneath the car. She figures that Lance has the youma handled since he pretty much pinned it. She didn’t really need to stand around and watch more death.

Running over to the MP finally, she sits by his side and hugs him. “Restoring embrace,” she says as she heals the burns, sending feelings of compassion and concern his way. She then smiles at the MP, “You ought to head to the hospital, just to make sure everything’s ok. But now you shouldn’t have be treated for burns anymore. It’s been a long evening…” She much preferred this part of the job, helping people.

She then turns her attention back to Lance. He probably had questions. And if he didn’t, she most certainly did.

As the youma goes down Lance's charred skin cracks into a smile slowing too many teeth and his red eyes seem to emanate a scarlet aura of bloodlust. However, the moment is interupted by an arrow suddenly taking the monster in the arm. Looking down Oni takes the arrow from his shoulder and snaps it in half before advancing on the terrified youma. He throws the extinguisher aside and an emotional influence begins to affect the area, 'let terror and discord reign.'

The blood red juggernaut finally reaches the youma and in a single lunge he rips out the youma's throat with his teeth. Still holding some of the flesh in his mouth the knight perks up and turns his attention to Sophia and the MPs, and after a long and grotesque swallow he lets out another roar, spitel and blood coming from his maw.

The sight that greets Sophia is perhaps the most gruesome thing she has ever witnessed. Artemis seemed to think nothing went wrong with this knight, but she isn’t sure she believes that. “Leave now,” Sophia says to the MP. “Bow of Eros”, she calls her bow. She holds it ready to fire, but doesn’t attack. She’s a little unsure what to do if he actually charges her though. One shot seemed hardly enough. However, she tries not to let her fear show. “What are you?”

The youma, having been literally ripped to pieces by the monster's bite, begins to fade to dust and shimmering into nothingness in front of the brutal assault. Lance however would begin to feel incredibly nauseous and sickened as chaos energy begins to conflict with his natural energy, causing him an agonizing pain that would paralyze him for five minutes unless he regurgitated his 'spoils' of battle.

The MP, freaked out by this scene tries to run off, but his progress is slow due to the disorienting feeling of being healed and then the scene that he was participating in caused a large conflict between survival and the duty to protect. He radios for backup though his speed and sound of speech would delay the response as the receiver tries to sort it out. It sounded ridiculous after all 'boy and monster being eaten' and all that.

Artemis cringed at the sight of the knight devouring the monster...at least if you can call it a knight. He scampers over to Sophia and stands at her side, looking at the monster while Sophia was trying to hold the monster back.

"His planetary alignment is Eris...the fact that Eris hosts a guardian now is unprecedented...it might be like that because the energy is unstable or something. Knight of Eris, calm yourself and return to normal!" the white mau shouts out, obviously irritated that a guardian of Sol System was acting in such a manner.
