Killian came out to the gardens to clear his mind of what has happened to him and all of the new people he has met. It had been a roller coaster since the attack on the youma and meeting Valdis. Then with the Sailor Senshi and the other knight he met, plus the story of there origin in some degree by the two talking cats. For normal people this would have sent them to the loony bin and locked up for the rest of there lives. Kail on the other hand was still sane and kept going. While walking the grounds the stillness and miles of snow eased his mind on what his next move was with the senshi. They had to find seven crystals and knowing his background on knowing myths and lores. There was something that came to mind but it was just ont within his grasp.

"How do we defeat an enemy with nearly endless numbers. There has to be something more then just those seven crystals.....does Valdis also play a part in this......I wish there was something with more clarity to work off of" he said musing to himself since there was no one around at the moment. Kail did have faith that they were going to take down the Covenant but the path was too blurred for him to see. What was the best coarse of action?

”You take out there source of strength and deprive them of their leaders, most of their army are mindless puppets anyhow”

A drowsy voice came out somewhere from the bushes.

”The crystals are a tool to help, not the entire solution. As for I, I am here to guide you all in the best way that I can…Or so I have been told.”

A purple head poked out of the bush, and slowly stood up; brushing spare leaves from her hair. She let out a large yawn as she detangled herself from the bush. She was a bit confused to why she was in it in the first place…she had just walked little mouse home, and was walking back to the train station….Valdis rubbed her eyes and looked over at Kail, his voice and brought her to the waking world.

”We will not be in this alone, but we will be the final hammer that lands the finishing blow”

Valdis stretched, her muscles were sore an achey mostly from sleeping outside. Her brain was clearing a bit from the foggy sleep and she was regaining her normal demeanor. She grinned over at Kail and waved.

”Good morning.”

Kail blinks several times as he heard the sleepy voice of Valdis speak up and turns to face her. He saw Valdis looking very very tired and the young man sighed a bit. Since he did not know if she was delirious or fully awake, none the words did sound serious enough. "I can agree to cutting off the head and let the body rot on the Covenant. For the most part I just feel kind of blind since we got no momentum going against the covenant. But that talk is for later......you look like you need a nap" he said walking over to Valdis and to him it looked like she was going to fall over any minute. After what happened to the meeting Kail was a bit more worried on her health then most of the others for some reason.

"Why were you out so late" questioned Kail as he was giving her another once over to see if Valdis was not going to pass out again. Kail had been busy on Oban trying to cram a lot of his class work in and did not pay much attention to his cellphone. Since it was not a busy day for attacks or anything else on his plate. Plus he had his house to himself for the next few days so he had some time to himself.

”You’ve had a couple of weeks, they have decades but we are the speck of snow that will turn into an avalanche to bury our foes”

Valdis just gave him a slightly weary smile when he mentioned she needed a nap…she needed A LOT of naps.

”We have a direction then destroy their leaders and remove their power source. As for your momentum your team took a step back…right now your about as threatening of a pack of baby bunnies. You all need training.”

Val chuckled, how was he able to tell she had been out late?

”I found a lost Little Mouse; drowning in her sorrows….I was out late meddling. Apparently two of kill all the crazy r’ us team are incapacitated. Little Mouse brought it to my attention that you all need a chance to battle with each other and learn how to work as a team…So I found you a teacher who specializes in this stuff, at least he agreed to it this time around…now I must find a location….along with a few other tasks I need to finish.”

Usually she wouldn’t bother to explain what she was up to…nor was she one to really share how she had been meddling within their teams business. She was pretty sure that none of them would want her hand in anything.

Kail nods a bit about what Valdis said since a lot of what she said was true in many respects. "I guess I have my moments of doubt." he said and showed again he was human even with his great mind. He showed a sense of humility as Kail was proud of his skills he was lacking in others. Some one to train them a bit in teamwork sounded good but Kail considered the last time that she did a gathering it was just chaos abound. Then Kail listened to why she was out late and some of it made no sense, he picked up that she met Sophia somewhere depressed about something. But something else and he was not able to pick it up. "The reason I can tell you were out late is that your not speaking plainly. Now what happened with Sophia again" he said not use to Valdis's speech patterns when she spoke Val as that's what he called it.

Kail wondered what happened with Sophia to be what it sounded like to him that she was depressed about losing two people. Who were these people, since Val again did not give him a clear understanding on what happened.

Valdis nodded they all had their doubts at times, it was when it was helpful to have someone step in and give you a boot in the ass. She sighed and hung her head when she got a confused glance from Kail; this was why she preferred chatting with Rosa and Nazo, at least they spoke her language. Conversations when so much smoothly when everyone was able to fallow along. This was how her thought process was normally, when she spoke to others she usually had to slow down. Since she was sleepy her usual filter she could put on and off…was permanently off.

”I apologize; there was an attack at the art exhibit. Venus Knight awakened and had his powers drained he’s currently in a coma, while our little jumping bean is now a tree….So we are down two knights…It almost broke our Little Mouse. So I took her home and drugged her. That was around midnight. Then I spent the rest of the night with Nazo to figure out exactly what had happened, and also start to get things moving. Like you Little Mouse needed progress, I aim to give that to her. Which is why I asked Nazo if he would be willing to train all of you…He is the most knowledgeable and the most experienced. While I have visions of the future his far succeeds what I can see, he will know how to shape you. “

Valdis ran a hand through her hair.

”While you guys are training I will be fallowing my own leads; which is why I am glad I ran into you….I have given it thought and have come to the realization a cell phone is an evil necessity.”

Kail stared at Valdis as if she had several heads at the mentioning of the Venus Knight being taken out as well as the Earth Knight. Then with Sophia having a mental breakdown. It slowly infuriated him at the fact he was left out of the loop. And no one seeked him out to help in that battle. None the less though two of his fellow knights were taken out. Kail curbed his anger "Bloody hell.......that took a massive hit to our morale. This is not good and our numbers went down. In this case we have no choice but to become stronger." he said and was just worried how some of the others were going to take it. For now he had to be a bit objective since he knew he might be next on the Covenant's hit list. That worried him to some degree as he was the only knight left that was alive in a sense.

"Something has been bothering me.....Valdis are you a Sailor Senshi and Nazo some sort of knight" he asked since if he was going to train them. Then he must have been someone on a higher level then the cats since it was the only explanation. With Valdis it felt as if though she knew more then she was letting on most of the time. Plus it would explain her super healing factor.

Valdis nodded, she could understand the surprise that he must feel. It came as a shocker to her as well. She could tell this annoyed him, he got the same look on his face whenever she was consistently bugging him. So that emotion was at least easy to read for her.

”You guys need a way to communicate at a moment’s notice… That or you’ll start needing to travel in packs….But as for the stronger aspect it is why I asked Nazo if he’d be willing to…despite the complications that will come with it.”

Valdis laughed out right when he asked if she was a Senshi. She had asked the same thing to Nazo after she had been poisoned by Scorpio.

”Nazo I think is a knight, but likes dancing around a direct answer. As for me, no I am not a Senshi, I am not a pure enough to be one of you. But I do have powers to help..and supposedly I am suppose to achieve something great that is if I can cleanse myself of a dark seed. Kind of took a step backward after I was poisoned by Scorpio and was able to control a flame using chaos energy….Nazo and Granny weren’t too happy with me…but other than the Chaos energy I am suppose to be able to heal, I haven’t figured out how to yet….but when I do I think it will be useful to the group. I am also supposed to guide you all using my gifts…like Nazo but to a much lesser degree I can see glimpses of what is to come. “

Valdis yawned and looked around…was there a park bench somewhere.

”I have been running myself ragged trying to reach a level where I can be of use to all of you.”

Kail was in thought at least "No I honestly think that you are a senshi but if Nazo is not saying anything then there must be more to it. Anyway....when you can heal people its going to happen when it happens so don't worry too much. At least your helping us a lot right now so don't feel bad he also sees Valdis yawning and looking very tired and there were no places for her to sit down. He silently cursed on why he was a nice guy too much of the time. He kneels down in front of Valdis with his back facing her "You look like your going to fall over any second. Hop on and I'll take you back to my house so you can rest or your home. Whatever would be closer to your convienance" he said and was offering to piggy back her home or some place of rest. Kail was at least trying to do the duty that he was asked to do for Valdis.

"Honestly I should think about getting a car or something to get around then public transporation" said Kail as he was going to call his parents about seeing if he can borrow the family car. He did have a driver's licence to drive a car but did not have a need for it. Since he walked, took a bus, train, or a cab if he was really out late or stranded out somewhere. But now with him being a knight and working with the others a quicker source of mobility to get to some battles would be an asset in the long run.

”That is an interesting thought….All of you get major power boosts whenever you transform….I already see visions, and regenerate at amazing speeds. I imagine I would be a terrifying site if I had access to a planetary alignment.”

She giggled and had a dopey grin on her face. Oh how much fun she would have if that were true. But Both Granny and Nazo had confirmed she was normal with abnormal powers.

”Alas, your kitty friends, Nazo, or Granny would have sensed if I was aligned with a planet.”

She blinked when he bent down offering her a ride….she always wanted to do this….

”Thank you”

She climbed on to his back and draped her arms around his shoulders. A large grin spreading across her face as she pointed forward.

”ON WARD TRUSTY STEED!...I’ve always wanted to do that, thank you for being a part of fulfilling that dream….but your house will be fine….I only can spare an hour…or two to at least stop myself from passing out in a bush again…. I have something I need to investigate before the meeting tonight…”

She rested her head on his shoulder, and glanced at her watch….she really didn’t have much time to rest but it would be something.

Kail sweatdroped when Val carried on treating him like a horse "Haha very funny" he said and started to head to the exit of the gardens. "Look you need the rest just put off what you need to do for awhile. Your health comes first" he said being a bit worried for her. Then she mentioned something that had to be looked into and made Kail wonder what it was. He doubted that it would be anything silly like she would normally do. So it might have been something she saw in one of her visions? Since Valdis did mention that she did have visions of the future. "What are you looking into, if you don't mind me asking? Is it something dealing with you visions you've been getting" Kail asked her.

There had been a growing thought in his head on why fate put her in his path? It was just very very hard for him to understand and it would be something he might not understand for the rest of his life. Perhaps it would be a question when things got normal again for the earth. Since that might be the best time for peace and most of the conflicts to be over with.

”I thought so”

She smiled at him; at least he was starting to get her humor. Her smile left when she he told her she needed to rest. Rest… it was already a foreign concept to her…even less so in the last past few weeks.

”A couple hours will suffice enough to keep me going for at least the rest of today. I will make time to rest tonight…..It would seem however with how things are that I may have to sacrifice a few of my activities in order to continue helping the group as I have been…. As much as I love the music program at Juuban I may have to just take a test to get my GED and graduate early. I’m already ahead in my education….it really wouldn’t pose to much of a problem.”

It was a sacrifice she may need to make…the more she thought about it the more that seemed to be the wisest of choices. She was confident in her ability to pass the tests; after all she was one of the top scoring students in the school at the moment. Valdis thought about her answer for a moment, deciding it wouldn’t hurt to let Kail in on what she was going to be looking into…although she wasn’t quite sure of exactly what she planned to find.

”Yes, I had a vision at the first meeting the group had, when I fainted….I go down like that when a vision hits me…problem is my visions are vague. There is a young business man with blue hair….my vision was of him. Last name is Kaneko, I plan on visiting him today. He has a secret…what I don’t know, but I am sure he has one. He could be a youma, he could have a crystal, or he could be someone who may be of use to us….maybe another knight. Not sure….but my vision meant something. So this is a potential lead, but I really don’t want to tell the others until I can give them more of a direction to fallow.”

She closed her eyes while her head rested on his shoulder.

”As soon as I get close to him I can tell you whether his a youma or not…or is like me and has a dark energy to him…or if he’s like you. Granny has been training me to feel out different energies.”

This conversation was starting to bore her.

”On a more interesting note…Little Mouse pledged to fallow me as a leader…”

Kail heard Val on her reasoning to finish high school for the benifet of the group then her own personal needs. He felt bad slightly she was going to sacrifice something she loved. But knew he was going to have to make that choice himself one of these days in life. If he kept fighting as the knight of mars. "Its your choice so I am not going to argue against it" he did not have any issues with that in general. Then she went into the vision that she had at the first meeting. Kail grined slightly at the fact that he knew it was not a fainting spell "Kaneko.....I remember hearing a news report right before coming here. I think it was the Kaneko Industries.....Wait......fuzz buckets this could be bad if this guy ends up as an enemy. We can deal with youma but not guns and other leathal machinery" he said knowing something about the target of her vision. But if this guy was on the side of evil they were screwed since they could use technology to give the covenant a major upper hand.

Although if an ally that ment a major boost for them, although visions normally meant as a warning. So Kail went with the negative one since the enemy had a massive advantage against them. "Visions in my opinion are more like warnings, I know that we have to be optimistic but I feel this guy is going to be an enemy. Since it feels like we have way too many enemies and not enough allies to help. And if the enemy so far as screwed up things this much. They would have there roots in every area that they could" he said speaking his thoughts to Valdis since it seemed well thought out. He continued to go a far distance to his home, Kail heard that Sophia saw Valdis as leader and follow her orders "Has Sophia had a mental breakdown or something? Your a good advisor but as a leader though. Something just screams at me not to trust you leading us" he was really surprised by this and worried.

"Well.....heck......that attack really shook her that badly....." he asked kind of in shock as he somewhat felt the gravity of the situation or the aftermath of it.

”I withhold judgment until I investigate. My visions are not always warnings, I’ve had a nice one before….Nazo has a nice butt without his armor.

Valdis still did not know what to suspect, it was why she was going to investigate. She hoped it was a new ally…If so she would negotiate on the groups behalf.

”My hopes are he’s an ally, that machinery would mean he has some testing facilities….Facilities where odd bursts of explosions or energies would be normal…”

It would mean that this man may be able to provide them a place to train... It was partly why she needed to investigate this today. She would ideally like to have both a trainer and a place to train for the senshi by the time the meeting took place. Valdis opened her eyes when asked if Sophia had a mental break down.

”She was when I found her last night….she dove into the harbor for a lamp. I brought her to my house where she stayed and helped her pick up the pieces. After she had…fallen asleep…I went off with Nazo to investigate exactly what happened and also get things moving. I wanted to give her progress; otherwise she would remain broken. The team needs Little Mouse’s point of views to remain balanced. I can’t have her changing them.”

Valdis glanced around them.

”As for me leading, I think it’s because she has noticed that whole advising thing. My advise has direction where others have lacked it. If I were to lead you I would rather do it from the background. Less toes are stepped on that way; and I find my directions are taken better when offered as suggestions.”

She chuckled a bit, she very well knew people would have a reaction much like Kails if the idea of her to lead were to come up.

”Little Mouse also knows my hand in the ice youma battle, the heaters, lights, and sand was my doing in order to even the playing field for all of you. I think she trusts that I can think quickly on the fly. Nazo also seems to think I have a talent for it…odd enough.”

She let out a sigh, usually she was a lot more cryptic then this….sleep really did mess with her personality.

”I am positive however that only you and Little Mouse would find me a good advisor. You two are the only ones I’ve really had any heart to hearts or were forced to spend enough time with me to begin to trust my twisted judgment.”

She was quiet for a bit.

”Little mouse placed her trust in me; not many people do that… I aim not to disappoint her or anyone else who chooses to fallow me.”

Kail thinks as they cross the street without any problems "Jeeze......I'll talk to her myself when I get the chance. Since well I have not been a good team player yet. Anyway....maybe I am hesitant as I am the oldest of the group since I am 21. I am guessing you and most of the others fall into the 16 to 18 years of age?" he said perhaps realizing that most of the others were younger then him. So there might have been a diffrance in opinions there. He then hears about why Sophia trusts Val to lead and then Valdis saying her views on the matter. "Meh.....it seems though I have been placed by fate as your Yojimbo. Regaurdless I am going to have to trust you......So far the advice you have been giving is to the point. Anyway lets get to my place so we can at least get some transportation. Right now just rest up" he said and quickly went to his house. Since he could make something to at least recharge Valdis for a few hours. Then get some intell on how to find the Kaneko person since it seemed that there was some importance to the man.

45 Minutes Later

Kail finally gets to his house with Valdis sleeping on his back and carefuly opens the door and steps in. He goes to the living room and gently places his charge on the couch. Then goes into the kitchen to make something for the girl since she would need something to eat once she woke up. "How do we meet someone like that in public" he said to himself and preheats the oven for something. The redhead quickly goes to his room and gets his tablet device and starts searching the gossip sites for the Kaneko guy to see where he frequents the most and catch him there.
