It was difficult with this one due to the mask, so Rosaline was almost certain Nazo was trying to mess with her for a moment. End the Covenant? She glanced over at Valdis as Nazo continued to talk. No…they were serious.

Rosaline watched as Nazo approached, tilting her head slightly when he mentioned something apparently being interesting. She let Valdis wrap her arms around her, her own hands still holding the mug as she now listened to Valdis.

”Of course,” she answered, ”This makes no difference. I will always follow you.” Rosaline had always had great trust in Valdis. Disentangling herself from the purple-haired singer, Rosaline set her mug down on the coffee table before sitting on the couch.

”You mentioned others…I’m guessing they all have similar supernatural abilities that are…” she glanced over at Nazo, ”…apparently able to take down the Covenant? And these disturbances that have been popping up more frequently lately….I assume their related as well?”

"...No nothing quite so carnal Valdis..." Nazo says with a slightly dejected tone as she made a joke about attraction and Rosaline's cuteness. He then takes a step away from Rosaline to not crowd her, before standing with his arms in the cloak. Solstice, the curious white ferret, peeks out from the neckline of the cloak and then makes a chirping, barking sound before emerging fully and sitting upright on Nazo's shoulder.

"There is a meeting with the others in the near future. I request that you join that event Rosaline. You may be more useful than you know." he says cryptically, then nodding in confirmation when Rosa asks about the recent incidents.

"Indeed...I'm sure you've seen news stories about attacks from criminals or accidents. ...Most of them are attacks from Covenant creatures, whom are properly identified as youma. Had it not been for the others, and even Valdis, the attacks would have claimed many more lives and caused far more damage. Regrettably, your human military is lacking in capacity to handle these youma properly." he says calmly.

Valdis nodded she knew she could trust Rosa, if she was going to be in all of this mess she would feel better with the quick girl by her side. She chuckled at Nazos dejected tone and shrugged.

”But you cannot deny that she is cute yes? I find when she loses her mask to be the most adorable.”

Valdis cued over Rosa as if she were a mother hen. She couldn’t wait to cause havoc with her friend. As Rosa disentangled herself Valids went back over to Nazo, snatching solstice from his shoulder. To hear that there was a meeting soon was good to know. At least she was informed of this one before it started.

”Awesome I can show up to this one with a shirt on….”

She suddenly looked up at Nazo with a mock look of being insulted.

”What do you mean by ‘and even Valdis’”

She looked back at Rosa.

”I’m more of a Youma distracter then anything, I like giving them hugs. By the way our manager is one of them just to give you a heads up. My father already knows about it and has been having her watched”

She scratched solstice behind the ear.

”You met the others at the sleep over…everyone of them…I think …are all apart of it…although I have no clue about Kousuke…I’m just assuming everyone I know has weird supernatural abilities now. Cause so far they have…I’m waiting for my dad to do something weird and that will just confirm it…Although…going on that train of thought”

Valdis leaned her head against Nazo’s shoulder, the ever so cryptic snuggie.

”Tell me oh mystical all knowing snuggie, your speaking in your vague foretelling way. Am I safe to assume Rosa is either like me or like one of them?....should I go find a cat and have her go smack our manager?”

”A meeting with others….” Rosaline repeated, staring momentarily at Nazo. Again she found she really disliked not being able to read him, the tone of his voice was not enough by itself.

”I don’t see how…I certainly do not display any supernatural abilities. I have no idea what a cat has to do with any of this either.”

Rosaline did find it interesting that she had apparently met these others though, wondering how much of it was due purely to coincidence. There was another thing to, one Valdis was somewhat aware of, but something Rosaline didn’t normally mention for obvious reasons. Rosaline had no love of the Covenant by any means and she certainly didn’t care for them to invade Japan because then she wouldn’t be able to focus on her music. However….she did have a very dark and pessimistic view of the world in general and the idea of being able to remove the Covenant from the world would be like trying to remove an integral part of human nature.

”Regardless….from the sounds of it, it seems like you put yourself in unnecessary danger, especially if there are others who can handle this. Ah! So this is how Killian plays into this.” The realization was like finding the last piece of a puzzle that she had been trying to solve for a while now.

”Our manager being one is….interesting to say the least.” Rosaline didn’t appear particularly alarmed by this information. ”It would be very rare for one to suddenly emerge so far away from an obelisk. Perhaps there is something else going on.”

"It's more to do with the fact that you use more mundane, albeit creative means to handle youma. Had you not acted at the theatre, things would likely have gone worse." he says, deadpanly responding to Valdis' remark of feeling insignificant. She knew what he meant and of course she was messing with him again. Then he listsened as Rosa was analytical. Very decisive, firm in what she said. It seemed only fitting that his senses would lead to a certain other position potentially.

"...None of the others did either...of course, your case seems to be unique...unprecedented even. There is an energy latent within you that I am unfamiliar with...regardless, I believe that when you meet the others, then the mystery will be sorted out in short order." he says, then being cryptic again, paying no obvious mind to the fact that Valdis kept crawling in and cuddling in the snuggie.

Solstice, plucked from Nazo's shoulder, yawns when Valdis scratches her behind her ear, and squirms until she gets onto Valdis' sleeve, crawling up to her shoulder and then looking at Rosa questioningly with adorable little ferret eyes.

Nazo shrugs when she mentions about them operating far from the obelisk.

"The stronger ones do, you just don't notice them. They are...what you would call, undercover. Only those who have strong supernatural senses, such as the priestess, can identify them in their dormant states....saa...it is a little tedious I'm sure to know that you neighbor could be a monster." he says, then turning in the general direction of Sapporo.

"The obelisks improve the strength of the Covenant, and serve as a beacon for energy. They are dangerous, but by no means do they need the obelisk to operate. It is simply easier to kill them the farther away they are from the Obelisk."

Without moving, Rosaline listened to Nazo’s explanations, silently analyzing all of this new information in her head. There were still of course many questions that she wanted to be answered, but it did not appear that Nazo would give her any more information regarding this apparent “latent power” within her.

”All people are monsters….especially those who hide behind a mask of innocence.” Rosaline had purposely chosen her choice of words as if to also make comment on Nazo’s own mask he wore. Once he was done explaining the importance of the obelisks, Rosaline stared intently up at him.

”Although I expect you to either lie to me or avoid my question, I will ask anyway. Who are you exactly? Why are you here, and what is your purpose? Even if Valdis appears to trust you and I trust her judgment, I still do not trust you. I will tell you upfront that I do not plan on being somebody’s pawn in some larger game being played.”

"Indeed. I am a monster beyond most people's reckoning if you apply that terminology. But that is simply academic, a notion with little more than logic-less sentiment behind it. Why don't you open your mind a little more?" the masked one says, then calmly listening to Rosalinda asked her questions and made her remarks about not being a pawn.

Nazo could not help but to openly chuckle at that thought.

'My friend, we are all pawns...myself included. We may individually play on different chessboards, but pawns we all are." he says, then standing upright gaining a couple of inches as Rosa pushed to know who he was.

"I was created without name. Without the sense of identity that you people hold so close and dearly. Valdis has insisted I go by Nazo so I accept that designation for now. My function in this world is simply this: to make certain that this world, this universe has a future. Left to their own devices, the Covenant will simply kill each and every living being, yourself and Valdis included, and draw their home dimension into this one, causing the universe itself to grow unstable to the point of collapse. I am the avatar sent by the will of time itself to fix this." he says, then taking a step back and then bowing slightly to Rosa.

"I am the Guardian of Pluto. You will come to fight, or you will die when the monsters of the Covenant catch wind of your unique energy. You might not believe me, but I am sure Valdis will confirm what I say. Whether you live or die is on you, but I do believe that Valdis would very much prefer you alive."
