There was a loud crash as a door was flung open. In the opening stood Valdis in all her crazy glory, her hair was up in a messy bun and she was wearing a long black jacket that reached her ankles. Underneath was a white corset and black jeans tucked into knee high stiletto boots.

”ROOOSSSAAA! Holy shit it’s messy in here.”

Now she had stolen a spare set of keys from Rosas locker at work, unlocked the door then proceeded to kick the door open for a dramatic entrance. Only to be pulled out of her dramatic pose when she noticed the complete mess that was Rosas apartment. Not even bothering to look for the pink haired girl Valdis instantly went into neaten things up.

Although there was a momentary look of surprise at the sound of hearing her door burst open, as soon as she recognized Valdis’ voice, Rosaline relaxed as she put down the sheet of music she had currently been working on. Since she was at home, instead of her typical fashionable outfits, Rosaline simply wore a loose fitting white t-shirt and a pair of black cotton shorts. Her hair was in a messy bun, a typical style when she was working to keep it out of her face.

As she walked over to the entrance, Rosaline noticed Valdis cleaning.

”Ah there’s no reason for you to clean Valdis. If I had known you were coming over, I would have hired someone to clean up for me.” Although the visit was unexpected, Rosaline appeared pretty unfazed by Valdis’ dramatic entrance. It seemed she was used to such antics.

”What brings you here?” she asked, picking up some books and sheet music so Valdis would have room to sit down on the couch.

”How can you stand to live in this normally?....How can you cook???”

Valdis drifted off to the kitchen and started putting away dishes. Surprisingly Valdis was a very neat person, she couldn’t stand to be around messes. Her room at home was always in order and clean, and everything had its place.

”…I’m going to have to give you some housewife lessons Rosa chan….otherwise I would suggesting finding a guy who likes cleaning…A LOT”

Valdis continued to clean while she chatted, honestly once she started she wasn’t going to stop. It would drive her nuts if she did. Consider it a mild case of OCD, it rarely came out because most of the time she was in places that were neat. Heck when she was at Kails house his was nice and neat.

”Not stopping until this place is clean so either you can help yourself little missy or continue with your music. Don’t mind me”

By then she was scrubbing the counters, already locating the limited cleaning supplies.

”I came just to say Hi, is that so weird? Ok I lie I was actually wondering if you’d like to meet a friend of mine? He’s interested in meeting you.”

”I usually hire somebody to clean if the mess reaches dangerous levels….as for cooking, I’ve been learning all about this so called convenience food that essentially comes pre-prepared. And the microwave only blows up roughly 40% of the time now,” Rosaline stated casually, as if she were talking about any ordinary day. She then watched as Valdis went into cleaning mode, it was clear the other girl wasn’t going to stop till the place met with her approval.

”I just don’t like to bother with such chores. They get in the way.” Rosaline figured though she might as well help put some things away, seeing as there was no stopping Val at this point. When she mentioned meeting a friend of hers, Rosaline looked up with an intrigued expression.

”A friend of yours I don’t know? I would be pleased to meet with him.” Rosaline’s expression was calm, but inwardly her gears were turning as to who this might be and their relationship to Valdis. Maybe Killian wasn’t the one she needed to worry about.

”Dear lord Rosa chan…..either you have the metabolism of a god or a tape worm…. Honestly Rosa you should enroll in my school just to take a home economics class…it would help...That or come to my house sometimes…I’ll teach you how to make things edible.”

The kitchen actually came along nicely and soon everything was in its placed and scrubbed, just in case Val opened the microwave and began to make sure that was cleaned as well…

”Also those microwavable dinners sometimes have metal in them….dump it out on to a plate then microwave it…”

Val moved into the living room with Rosa slowly organizing the pile of mess…till she stopped…she could have sworn something just moved in that pile. Her eyes bugged out slightly; this was scary….How could her lovable Rosa live like this!

”How on earth could they get in the way? I find that I can’t concentrate on anything else until my rooms tidy…I like to fall asleep without wondering what might be living under a random pile…”

Valdis grinned at Rosa, she rarely ever referred to anyone as friend so it was something if she was introducing him as her friend. Rosa was her best friend,she would have to meet him. She was sure Nazo and her would get a long, after all there thought process was similar.

”His name is Nazo, he thinks like us and his humor amuses me… that and he’s a giant walking snuggie”

Rosaline simply gave a small shrug.

”I just rather spend my time doing other things, though I suppose cooking does have its practical uses,” Rosaline conceded. She continued to clean and put away things at a slow pace, clearly in no rush to do so. She didn’t really mind if things were clean or messy, just as long as she knew where everything still was.

She listened as Valdis spoke of her newfound friend.

”Nazo….interesting name. Just let me know when you wish to plan this meeting. How did you end up meeting him?” she asked, obviously curious.

Valdis just shook her head at her friend; this would be an uphill battle to get her to clean up after herself…it was a good thing she was in an industry where she made a lot of money. Otherwise this poor girl would be in a jam…that or she would need to find herself a good house husband…. One that could clean and cook for her and not mind it…which was a stretch… She worried about her friends health sometimes. Valdis chuckled when she commented about Nazo’s name and a look of pride came across her face.

”Of course it is, I named him. At any time I just need to call him and he’ll likely pop up unless he’s busy or we’ll pop somewhere to meet him. Just make sure all your clothes are on before I do.”

Valdis paused before answering how she met him…after all it was a bit strange.

”We met at a shrine, I decided a grave looked like a comfy place to sleep and he proceeded to throw snow down my shirt until I got up….which then more or less turned into a random snowball fight with a odd cloaked stranger.”

Ya that sounded completely normal.

Rosaline studied Valdis carefully, not sure how to respond at first. She knew the other well enough to tell that she wasn’t lying, which made her story that much more odd and worrying.

”You should take better care of yourself. An outdoor grave is no place to lie down.” It may have seemed like an unlikely part of Valdis’ story to fixate on, but Rosaline worried about her friend. Their schedules were busy enough as it is, and recently the bassist felt as though she was seeing even less of Valdis without knowing what she was up to. Perhaps she could get an answer.

”He seems like a very interesting person then…if he is available now then you are welcome to call him over.”

”It seemed nice at the time, cause by that point I was blind, tired, and very very cold.”

Her tone was still casual, she only nodded towards the commented about how he was interesting. A small grin gracing her lips as she finally stopped cleaning and looked over at her friend.

”First things first, before I call him over…..”

Valdis walked over to the kitchen and grabbed a knife, she figured before summoning Nazo she would let Rosa in on her little secret….she might as well just overload the girl with information now instead of having to go through a long and tedious explanation…soo without delay she walked back over to Rosa. Valdis removed her coat, to reveal bare shoulders and bare arms. Without giving Rosa time to react she dragged the knife across her arm.

”Oh NAaaaazooooo, I neeeed you”

She giggled as the blood on her arm welled up, only to have steam rise up from it moments later. Rapidly closing eventually only leaving fresh pink skin in its place.

The room began to tremble and shake to a small extent as the lights flickered. A wind howl picks up as a flash of green light manifests and Nazo appears holding his pole-ax weapon in hand over his head, looking as if Valdis had summoned death itself...holding the pose for a moment, then dispelling the weapon and then standing upright. Apparently, Nazo decided to amuse himself a little by making himself looking like he was hellspawn summoned, since Valdis just had to give him an adequate opening for it. He stands up straight and shrugs.

"You really do have to stop calling me like that.." he says boredly to Valdis, before turning to Rosa. "...I take it this is Rosa? I don't imagine there are any other normals that you would call me in front of." he says, then pausing and waiting, bowing towards Rosa slightly.

"Good afternoon. I have been dubbed Nazo by Lady Valdis, whence there was previously no name." he says calmly, standing upright again.

Rosaline had a slightly puzzled look when Valdis walked over to the kitchen. When she returned with a knife, her eyes widened as she watched Valdis use it to cut open her arm.

”Val-….” Rosaline quickly grabbed the knife away from Valdis with one hand and with the other she grabbed Valdis’ arm to examine the wound. Valdis was probably the only one who was ever capable of surprising Rosaline. Although they both had their own pains to sort through, this was not one of Valdis’ typical means of coping with them. However, she soon watched in awe as the wound began to heal right before her eyes.

”This is….” Before she could finish that thought, the room began to shake as Nazo made his appearance. All of the sudden shock caused even the normally composed Rosaline to drop her mask as she glared at Nazo with murderous intent, pointing the knife she held at him.

”Who are you!” she almost growled, but as Nazo calmly introduced himself, Rosaline lowered the knife. Her face was a bit more composed again, but her eyes examined the masked stranger with mistrust. With both the cloak and the mask it was almost impossible for her to analyze this one.

”Is this him then?” she asked, obviously speaking to Valdis. There was a bit too much for Rosaline to wrap her head around at the moment so it was impossible for her to relax at the moment. Turns out there might be a second person capable of surprising Rosaline.

A grin grew on her face as Rosa’s eyes bugged out, nothing was more fun than making people loose there masks. Whether it was Rosa or her father, Val made it a personal goal to make them loose it as many times as possible. Her day was made as Nazo appeared in a flare that made her face scrunch up….she looked over at Rosa and saw her reaction, and realized exactly what it had looked like….A peel of laughter echoed through the room. Leaving Valdis clutching her stomach while the insane giggles seemed not to cease; a little while after Valdis took deep breaths wiping a stray tear from her eyes.

”Nazo, I love you”

That made her day, it really did. Another spout of giggles escaped her lips. The look on her dear Rosas face was one she wished she had gotten on camera. When Rosa spoke to her she nodded.

”Yes this is him”

She walked over to Nazo, wrapping herself in his cloak.

”See I told you he’s like a giant snuggie with a mask”

Completely excluding the fact he came in all creepy like…he was like a big snuggie. She looked up at him with a grin.

”Nazo this is Rosa, she’ll warm up to you with time….and I could always choose to say Nazo I choose you to call you…but that seemed to kid showish for me. Nazo I need you has grown on me, and its ever so effective. But I am open to suggestion.”

Valdis unwrapped herself from Nazo, snagging the knife back and bringing it back to the kitchen. Cleaning it and putting it back. She then began to make a couple of hot beverages. Rosa probably needed something to help calm her down a bit. Valdis returned and handed her a mug, then looked over at Nazo….

”….Do you want some? You could always port it into your mouth….although I suggest waiting for it to cool”

Rosaline neither moved nor said a word; she simply watched with hard eyes as Valdis walked over to this Nazo character and wrapped her arms around him. What she needed to was calm down and logically consider the information that she had currently been presented with and deal with each accordingly.

First, Valdis had sliced herself with a knife before proceeding to heal herself in less than a matter of minutes. Such abilities were not unheard of for covenant members…but it was impossible to conclude how such an ability could be connected with Valdis.

Next was this Nazo character. Regardless of who he was, he seemingly managed to transport himself directly into the room which was another supernatural ability. Valdis appeared comfortable with him, meaning she trusted him. When she left briefly, Rosaline simply continued to glare, waiting until she returned. She then took the mug offered to her before calmly beginning to speak.

”So you two are going to tell me what you are currently involved in and when it all started.” It wasn’t a question.

"It is simple. We, along with others, shall end the Covenant." Nazo states simply, having been quiet and composed during Rosa's freakout. The knife was no threat to him, and understandably the girl would have been startled. Yet, as he assumed correctly, Rosa regained her composure quickly and therefore was coherent moments later. You'd have to be that way to be friends with Valdis.

"...There is no other way to put it, but Valdis has gotten herself involved with a group of people who are capable of bringing down the corruption of the Earth, and the only hope of salvation of humanity. Nothing overly serious, no?" he states with a small chuckle, before approaching Rosa, stopping five feet away from her. While his eyes were not visible to the young girl, the male's eyes were fixated on her.

"...Interesting...very, very interesting..." he muses cryptically.

Val nodded to Nazo’s explanation, that about summed it up.

”You’ve met the others”

Seeing how Nazo seemed to ignore her offer to drink she took it for herself. Calmly sipping the beverage. If he wanted some she knew he would ask or take..either one.

”It started a couple weeks ago when I met him, I have involved myself further since then.’

She placed her beverage down as Nazo went to look over her friend, she wrapped her arms around Rosa and tugged at her cheek a bit. Looking up at Nazo with a large grin on her face laughing when he made the off hand comment about her being interesting.

”I know and she’s cute to.”

She rested her head on Rosas shoulder.

”Rosa I’m letting you meet Nazo and know about the others because I trust you and I want you to be my right hand in meddling in all of this. Will you fallow me my dear friend? I could use you by my side.”

Valdis did want to have Rosa by her side in all of this; she really didn’t like being involved with so many without her. Plus she needed someone who was on the same mental page as she was in all of this. Nazo was nice but he couldn’t be around as much as Rosa could.
