The last thing Sophia expects is to receive aid from the She-Hulk. She is letdown that the woman isn’t green, but it was amazing that she could make it. “Leave? But I am all suited up for battle,” she half jokes.

The situation becomes even stranger as Valdis materializes with her dogs. “Hey, glad you could join the party.” She is just about ready to take a shot at the beast when Valdis asks if they could keep this one. Someone agreed with her for once? “It is really adorable.” It wouldn’t exactly be breaking her promise if another team member was for the idea of trying, was it?

She puts down the bow as Valdis runs inside. Animals couldn’t really be evil, could they? Maybe changed. But they didn’t have a concept of morality. It was probably listening to some kind of master. She wonders if she can attempt some kind of peaceful solution.

She doesn’t expect the wolf to jump on her. However, she smiles at the creature, letting out powerful feelings of friendship type love toward the creature and Valdis’ dogs. Maybe it just wanted a friend and a good owner. Maybe the power of love and friendship could soothe the heart of the beast. Maybe it could be friends with Valdis’ dogs.

This chain of thought is interrupted as she feels her butt get grabbed. Was there more than one thing on the battlefield? However, she notices Kenny. “Throw the snacks!” What better way to earn the trust of a creature then to give it food… and to get the dog off of her…

My eyes were bugging out as I looked back and forth from the collapsed snow fort which had THOUSANDS of pounds of snow to Sophia who was worried about befriending the giant puppy. HOW WAS SHE NOT FREAKING OUT. WHY WAS EVERYONES SO CALM! Then the wolf was tackling the poor girl; I was up on my feet trying to figure out what to do. Val or giant wolf….Val or giant wolf……Then the girl shouted to get snacks and I pulled at my hair.”I CAN’T THEY’RE BURRIED WITH VAL!” I made exaggerated movements gesturing to the large pile of snow; I was pretty sure the dog stepped on her while trying to get at the girl in the short skirt.

But Val was under snow…but Sophia was facing something with teeth….that could eat her…. I took a deep breath and ran with a yell throwing myself at the large wolf. I had to get if off of her before it decided to bite the girls throat off!. I looked towards the girl who was just standing there. ”Help me get this thing off her!”

Vega was beginning to think that Tokyo was becoming more 'strange' than what she had been told. From gang members to a giant wolf that could use magic? To one thing then to another, it all didn't make sense. The girl had ignored her advise and now another one had appeared. The snow fort had collapsed, the first girl had lowered her weapon to try and 'tame the beast. Then of course she had been tackled down by the wolf she was trying to befriend. That and lets not forget that there are two more children to 'deal' with. Could things get any more complicated or worse? Oh of course, that wouldn't be the irony of reality. If things got any more out of hand....

" help me get this thing off her!" A young boy's voice had caught her off guard. He had thrown himself on the beast. Now there was the prof that stupidity was part of human nature. Now she had to react before anything ELSE could happen. So putting aside plan A Vega had to skip to plan F. Fuck up the beast before it could Fuck up you. So she took this opportunity to take advantage of what was going on. Her movements quick and nimble as she seemed to have no trouble moving through the snow. " Go dig the other girl out of the snow!." She yelled to the boy, pointing to his...once...igloo. Her eyes scanning up and down the wolf's armor and exterior. His underbelly was not protected as heavily. So if a good blow up under his rib cage should do the trick.

" So much for asking for directions." She sighed, finally coming up from behind the beast and taking hold of it's back two hind legs. " I don't think it wants to be your friend." She says in a emotionless tone, before pulling back on the wolf's hind legs.

”ya ya ya good to see you to”

Val waited for him to finish crawling through the tunnel, she looked up at the ceiling with some concern…it was going to come down any second. Her attention was turned back to Kenny…did he really just ask Little Mouse to bear his children……and was his hand on her butt. She let out a small growl as she gave a good boot to his ass. Just as she kicked the ceiling began to come down, her eyes widen as she covered her head with her hands.

”CRAP, NA”

The weight of the ceiling came down, burying her under a massive heap of snow. Ice chunks successfully sending her unconscious. The four wolfhounds seeing their master buried barked, dashing over to the snow pile sniffing for signs of their owner.

The wolf was moments away from enjoying a Sailor Venus Stew but the love powers of Venus daze it and leave it confused. While it wasn't befriended in the sense that Venus may have been aiming for, it was confused and thus halted from attacking the Soldier of Light. Then the wolf is snapped out of the daze by the other woman grabbing it's hind side, finding itself forced on it's belly, clawing and flailing erratically to attempt to get away. The woman would have surprising strength, and a grip for approximately five seconds before the wolf rolls over several times, inevitably causing the other woman to go flying a short distance away. She ends up hitting a rock in the snow, and remains unmoving for the next short while.

When the young male is out in the open, it's attention immediately turns.

Approaching him, the wolf leaps through the air and pins the male to the ground. While the boy was pinned, a blue crystal glows in the wolf's harness armor, as it begins to draw energy from him. He would begin to feel lethargic as if something was drawing his energy out, but a blue crest of energy would manifest in the male's forehead in response to the dangerous situation.

Meanwhile, the wolf would be open to attack from either of the two free combatants, it's attention completely on the boy.

Artemis was walking in the general area while Sophia was out: he was napping when the innocent girl ran out the door and into the world. Artemis would often go on these prowls looking for any potential senshi and knights or other information that would be of use to the group. As he was making his way through an alley, a dark presence could be sensed to the mau cat's heightened senses. Off he went at the speed of cat, making his way to the scene.

Okay...the speed of cat isn't so great, but it gets the job done eventually.

He exhausts himself as he gets to where a wolf-like creature was engaged in a battle with Sailor Venus, and there was another woman and a boy involved. Plus four dogs. Four twitchy, slobbering, cat mauling dogs. The cat ducked into the snow a bit, using his natural color to conceal himself, before his eyes fixated on the boy. He had the potential! There was one of the new guardians! Yet...the wolf decided to strike first, and the cat shouted out from the cover of his snow.

"Venus! He's one of us! You can't let him get hurt!" the white mau cat blurts, hoping Venus could hear him.

“I don’t know… it seemed to be working,” Sophia says, looking at the wolf’s momentary change in expression. She gets up off the ground in time to see that the wolf regained its former bloodlust. “Alright, maybe that didn’t work as well as I liked…” She never really liked the movie Old Yeller, but it seemed that they would be having a performance of that this evening.

She readies as she sees the wolf go after the boy. “I wasn’t going to let him get hurt…” Sophia says to Artemis. She takes aim at the wolf and sends an arrow of light at the beast. She makes a whistling sound of the variety used to call a dog home. She backs off slowly in order to take another shot.

The youma wolf feels the pain of an arrow entering it's side, and when it hears the whistle it judges Sophia as a greater threat, disengaging from draining the energy of the boy and approaching her, tense and ready to dodge a successive attack, but treating her with caution, circling around her and looking for an opening. It was clear this particular beast operated on an animal level and not the intelligent level Covenant youma had been up to this point.

I was thankful when the other girl started to move…and was surprisingly bad ass….I blinked as the wolf was brought down. Well apparently I’m not needed, I quickly go back over to help Val. I began to shovel out the snow as fast as I could, only to find myself forced over on my back looking straight into some long pearly whites….I started up at it…Holy shit I think I may have just wet myself…I glanced down…then back up at the wolf.

Suddenly I began to feel sleepy….so sleepy…was this fluffy thing a blanket…was it nap time? Nap time sounded good. I was vaguely aware of another voice appearing…which reminded me…There was a freaking wolf on top of me and Valdis was still buried…how long could she hold her breath?

The pressure was gone and I could think clearly again, I sat up and dove over to the snow bank once more. Val could get crushed syndrome if they didn’t dig her out soon. I looked over to see the four Irish wolf hounds digging not to far off…was I digging in the wrong spot??? Upon thinking on it…most likely. I saw purple hair poke out of the snow as one of the dogs barked wildly. I slid over to her and shoved my hands in, dragging the girl out.

While Kenichirou was busy trying to dig Valdis out, the white cat scampered over while the wolf was distracted and then looked at him intensely near him.

"Listen, there is little time, but that girl is going to need your help to fend off that monster." the mau cat says, as his crescent glows and a blue bubble begins to appear in the air in front of the young male. Within would be an object that seemed to call to the young man.

"If you are brave, pick up that object and say 'Mercury Knight Power', and you will gain the abilty to stand up against that evil." the white cat says firmly and seriously, hoping the 'oh my gawd its a cat thing' doesn't overwhelm.

I blinked when a cat ran over......was it really talking to him.......I stopped what I was doing and sat. I just stared at the cat until finally I scratched the back of my head. "My Grandma always did say that to much manga and sweets would finally get to me..." I reached out and poked the cats nose..trying to figure out if it was real or not. It seemed it was real, I looked over at the odd object that popped up. It was an odd pin of some sort, with a blue jem in the middle. "Well here goes nothn Mercury Knight Power!"

The pin glowed a dust of snow whirled up around him, his clothes changed to a white suite of sorts with light blue trim. A white cape flared out with the pin as a clip. Gloves covered his hands, and his once blonde hair turned a snowy white.

"HOLY CRAP" I look down at the cat "Does this mean I get my own comic?" That would be so cool. I looked back over at the wolf...lets see what I can do. A staff formed in his hands which he swung over his head slamming the end into the ground. "ICE LOCK" Large spikes of ice shoot out of the ground around and under the wolf.

The wolf and Sophia circle each other for a little while. Both wait for the other slip up in some way. Sophia sees Kenny transform in her peripheral vision. She keeps her eyes on the wolf, but she can’t help but smile for the sudden change. “Good timing, Mercury, but sadly there are no comic book deals. I’d be tons more famous…”

Sophia is glad to have an extra person in this fight. Being mauled before the basketball game seemed like a terrible prospect. She sees him sending spikes of ice. She could work with that. She watches the wolf for an opening that the Mercury attack would probably create and prepares to shoot the beast.

The wolf, focused on Sophia, is blindsided by the ice spikes that run along the ground and under it, leaving it crippled from below. Purple blood sprays along the ground below while the creature howls in pain. It begins to fire weak burst of energy from it's mouth at Sophia and Kenny, but the attacks are poorly aimed and easy to dodge by the others present.

It was only a short while after she had been dragged out that Valdis came to, with four very large tongues slobbering all over her face. She pushed the muzzles aside and sat up rubbing the back of her head. Valdis looked over at what was going on and was highly surprised to see Kenny suddenly transform. Great….they had a perverted knight easily distracted by things in short skirts. That could be problematic…. How ever his powers did prove to be useful.

She stood up and brushed the snow off her clothes, quickly accessing the situation…after all she would be ashamed if she was unconscious for this whole fight and did nothing? Seeing the wolf incapacitated gave her an idea. She ran forward as it made attacks towards Kenny and Sophia. Seeing how it was ignoring her she ripped a spike of ice out of the ground and jumped onto the wolves back, slamming the ice chuck through the top of its head in between its eyes. She used her whole body weight to send it through its skull.


”Your turn to go night night.”


The four dogs seeing there owner attack also sprung into action two going for the beasts throat while the others bit at its legs. This animal was going down.

At this point, from the last, vicious attack, the youma hound ends up howling one last time, before it falls over and stops moving...it's form lasting for a few brief moments before it begins to fade to dust, drifting away in the snowy wind. The creature seemed pained, and perhaps once upon a time it was but a normal wolf trying to make it's way in the world.
