Ah my secret base, my fort, my castle, my creation; It is nice to be back. It looked simple from the outside, it was just your old fashioned igloo at the base of what looked like a large hill. Oh but I had discovered when I first started this master piece that it had been no hill but a giant snow mound. Years have passed and I had tunneled deep deep into the hill creating an elaborate room. I crafted furniture complete with lounge chairs and couches, I had even created shelves to store snacks, complete with beverages as well. Although they had a nasty habit of freezing. Now if only I had a way to get a solar powered generator…then this place would be complete!

Grandma had sure been annoying today, non stop…’Kenny have you done your home work, Kenny have you cleaned the dining room, Kenny go to the store’ Man it was just to troublesome. So my snow fort called me and there I went.

I smiled as I fixed the sign that said NO GIRLS ALLOWED! It was an old sign it showed its age but I never thought to throw it out…I checked my wagon, making sure all my chips, cookies, cakes, and soda was loaded up.

The shirts for the basketball game were drying, which means Sophia had some time before she added some finishing touches. She decides to grab a few fabric pens while she is out. The weather after the youma battle in the theatre had been so nice, but it hardly was the same now. She muses what the world will actually look like when this was over. However, memories of a more beautiful world were starting to become frayed and were falling apart in her mind.

With a bag full of fabric pens, she takes a slightly different route toward home this time. She stops at what it appeared to be a rather large igloo. She walks up to it to see the boy from the paranormal club correcting sign that read “No Girls Allowed” with a wagon of snacks in toe. “Oh. Hello again. Did you build this fort?” she asks with a smile. “I don’t think I have ever gone this way or I would have remembered seeing it before. I mean, how long did it take to put an igloo this large together?”

I was caught…butt half sticking out of the entrance; perfect time for a girl to walk up. Slowly I backed up; hopefully she was enjoying the view. Once I was out I looked up to see the cute pigtailed girl, so I smiled and sat up straight.

”Hi there; your looking cute as ever. What are the shirts for?I patted the ground next to me. ”Yes; and if you think this is large you should see the inside. It goes all the way into the mountain. I’ve been working on it since the first snow fall of this big freeze” I grinned up at her. ”Would you like to see inside, I’ll make an exception of my rule. Just for you”

I pushed the sled inside kicking it ahead, then I motioned for the girl to go ahead in first. Once cause lady’s first was the rule, two she looked like she had a cute butt. I wouldn’t mind crawling in behind that.

“Thanks. The shirts are for the game against Sensuji High tonight. Going to cheer on a friend with a couple of others. Valdis will be going, I think.” she says as she sits next to the boy. “Are you going?” she asks.

As he asks if she would like to see inside, she looks back into the igloo. “Sure.” As she crawls in, she says back to him, “Since the start of the snowfall… That’s quite some time.” However, when she gets inside, the work definitely shows. “Wow. It’s like a large apartment made of ice. I wasn’t expecting furniture. If you had electricity, you could probably live in here.”

“So what got you into the paranormal club?” she asks while examining some of the shelves. “Wow, you keep pretty well stocked.”

A presence watches from some nearby trees, there was something powerful here...blue eyes watch, a faint, hungry look to them...waiting for an opportunity. As the two go inside, the presence gets to work...beginning to shuffle around outside the structure, unseen to the naked eye.

”Really…Never pictured her as the school spirit type…or a friend type for that matter.”It was odd to think of Valdis going to any of those sorts of things. I wonder what other motive she had for going; it was really the only logical explanations. I thought about going to the event but it seemed like an awful lot of effort. ”Naa I’m just going to chill at home”

I crawled in behind her with a goofy grin on my face. Only thing that would make this better was if she was wearing a skirt. Once inside and past the igloo it was large enough for even me to stand up. So I did offering a hand to the young lady to help her up. ”Ya, I’ve been dying to get my hands on a solar powered generator; although it would get a little chilly to live in an ice castle twenty four seven. Where would I bathe?”

Paranormal club? Why did I join again…”They said I needed an extracurricular activity to pass this year, if I got held back again my grandmother would freak. I saw Valdis’s name on the list and decided at least be in a club that would be entertaining. So how did you end up hanging with Val?”

Sophia shakes her head as the boy mentions not being the friend type. “Nobody actually wants to be alone. And nobody is selfish all the time.” She feels a little bad that everyone took the girl at face value. That many people didn’t seemed to think of her as a human being…

The change of subject comes quickly, thankfully. She looks around the igloo and laughs. “I guess the lack of the bathroom would be an issue. And the temperature dips would get pretty uncomfortable here. I suppose I should say that you could spend most of your time here.”

Failing class… that was an interesting reason to join the paranormal club. However, Valdis being there was probably a good enough reason for a lot of people. “I met Valdis the first day of school. I sort of just wanted to meet a celebrity. Admittedly, she wasn’t the most welcoming at our first meeting, but things have changed a bit since then…” Like rescuing Tokyo from a youma, her mind fills in. “We even had a sleepover at her place a few days ago with a few other people.”

“So I don’t suppose you actually believe, do you?”

No matter how much she pondered or questioned the thought nothing seemed to add up. One minute she was in the shop changing out the lights; Then the next minute she was outside in the snow facing some hill. It just didn't make any sense, so why? With a deep breath Vega began walking forward. One she had no idea where she was at. Two if she were on higher ground maybe she could find her location and head back to the store. The hill in front of her would be perfect to at least get a surveillance around the area. So up the hill she went, her eyes scanning over the white blanket that covered the ground and trees. The hike wasn't that bad; she was standing at the top. However, the view wasn't all that grand. There were too many trees to find an exact location. So it was now up to plan B. Start walking around until finding someone to ask for directions.

Luckily, at the bottom of the hill she noticed two teenagers crawl into the snow. Wait; two children disappearing in the snow? Vega tilted her head to one side, eyes blinking rapidly. It was like moved with out thinking, her eyes locked on the large mound. Strange, she felt three presence instead of two. Was there another child in the snow with them? She approached the igloo, not really sure what to think.

" A igloo? " She mumbled softly to herself while walking around the structure, not sure how the children even got in. Surely she could find an entrance.

" Hello? "

”Selfish or not doesn’t change the girls messed up.” I scratched my head, I had never really questioned the thought of whether Valdis wanted to be left alone or not. She always just kind of pushed everyone away, and everyone was likewise happy to oblige. I quirked my eyebrow when described how she met the terror of Tokyo. That and the fact what she said meant Val was socializing. That was a bit shocking in itself. ”Your right I don’t believe it.” I began to put the snacks away while trying to visualize Val socializing like a normal girl. But I guess people had the ability to change, even ones like Val.

”I guess it could be possible; people can change. It’s just hard for me to picture it. I met Valdis when she first was brought to Japan. She didn’t speak a speck of Japanese and really didn’t day a word unless she was screaming at you on the top of her lungs in Romanian. Most of us in the school stayed away from her cause one moment she’d be in a corner looking like a kicked puppy and the next she was flinging things at people screaming and in hysterics.” Val really was pathetic back then, really small and scrawny, hardly a scrap of meat on her. She still oddly had her purple hair, but it was shorter back then and always messy. ”I only went to school with her for a couple months; she was removed after one incident landed a kid in the hospital for stitches….Teacher explained to us that she Valdis had been suffering from Post Traumatic Shock Dissorder…Though they never explained what actually happened”

Suddenly I heard another voice; wow perhaps I should leave that sign up. It seems to be attracting more girls then keeping them away. ”Crawl on in, who ever you are.”

Before Vivian could get into the igloo, however, a wave of ice and frost sweeps over her. The ice was unnatural and black, and would effectively glue her legs to the ground with a thickness normal human strength could not break out of. Then something appears on top of the large igloo: a large, wolf-like creature that was covered in blue metal armor with spines that traversed it's front shoulders in a way it could use them as ramming weapon. The fur was white, but radiated with crackling purple energy.

It's eyes glew a deep blue, as it launched itself on top of the structure as close as it could get to Kenny and begins thrashing it's claws frantically, hungry for the powerful energy it could sense coming from within. A savage wolf's howl could be heard, and the igloo would begin to thrash and shake, cracking in some spots from the sheer amount of brutal force being applied to it.

“Expecting company?” Sophia asks as she hears another voice. However, that question stands in the air as the igloo starts shaking as if some creature was attacking it. The howl sounds the new presence. Sophia’s first thought is that wolves don’t live in Tokyo. The next thought was something was probably attacking them, and she should do something. She looks to Kenichirou, “Ummm… sit here. I’ll explain later!” So much for secret identities… She takes out a pen. “Venus Power, Make Up.” The pen lights up. And in a flash, the girl appears in her full senshi outfit.

She runs outside of the igloo to see the woman stuck in the ice. as well the giant wolf in armor on the igloo. “Are you ok? I am here to help,” Sophia says to the woman, while moving in between her and the wolf. “Bow of Eros,” she says quietly, calling her bow to her hand, keeping her eyes on the wolf.

" Oh I don't want to come in, I just wanted to ask you for -." She pauses, her eyes wide as a cold chill sweeps over her. Something was not right, but she couldn't put her finger on it. Good thing it didn't take long to realize what it was. One moment she was mobile, the next frozen like the TV dinners Takumi consumes on a regular bases. Even if she was frozen her right eye was still taking in the data from what was going outside her icy prison. A wolf? No this was not like the wolves she seen on the web. This was a beast beyond anything she had read or seen in the past seven years. Frozen in place Vega watched as one of the children exited the igloo. It was a girl, in a strange outfit.

What was this girl thinking?! She was going to get herself killed. Or that was what she had thought, until a bow magically appeared in her hands. Well just when you think you've seen everything. Vega thought before scanning over to the wolf in front of the girl. She had to do something. She had to break free to protect. Protect? A clicking sound went off in her head. She didn't feel cold? Why wasn't she knocked out from being cased in ice?... Why? Another clicking sound went off in her head. Then she blacked out for only a moment, a small automatic voice going off in her head.

>Aggressor stimulus, status <max=100% ; min=80%>


At that moment Vega came to. Opiates pulsed though her spinal column into her blood stream; painful for a moment, then everything went numb. Her body pushed against the ice. Shards flew as she burst free from the ice. " HULK SMASH!" She yells, realizing why the green man from that movie had yelled it. However, it might of been inappropriate to yell at this time. She dusted off a piece of ice from her shoulder as she took a step forward. Her eyes locked onto the girl and then to the wolf. " I am fine; clear the area. This location is now unsafe," she spoke, not knowing who this girl was before her.

Valdis was out taking her dogs for a run; the pack of four happily bounced around her in the snow. She had her hands in the pockets of her long white suede jacket with grey fur trim. Her hair was pulled up in a pony tail, one which Darcy was currently trying to nip at as it swung with her movements. Suddenly all four hounds stopped; a low growl emitting from their throats. She stopped wondering what got into them…but then an odd itching sensation erupted in the back of her mind. Valdis shivered; that wasn’t the friendly odd feeling she got from little mouse…..annnnnd speaking of which…another presence pricked the back of her mind.

”Aengus, Darcy, Nora, Conan hunt”

The dogs took off; just because she could sense them didn’t mean she could locate them. But the dogs could. Val fallowed them at a run; they came upon an igloo where all four dogs had stopped; growling up at the larger wolf…..she chuckled. An odd time to laugh but she did find humor in a wolfhound growling up at a wolf…even if it was a youma.

”Leave it”

The dogs hackles were raised but they went to sit by their master. She waved over at the transformed little mouse.

”Lovely afternoon”

She looked up at the large wolf with a smile; at least this youma was cute.

”Think we can keep this one?”

Although the question to what it was after was still up in the air; so far every time a youma popped up it was to attack a senshi…it wasn’t after Little Mouse…and it was detaining the other girl and going after something in the igloo…which probably meant a new person.

”Now all that’s missing is a cat….

Valdis jumped and the dogs barked as suddenly shards of ice broke and a crazy girl was screaming hulk smash….Valdis blinked then snorted. Ok that was comical…But it was a distraction Val ran and belly slid into the igloos entrance. If someone was in there she might as well fetch them; she was surprised to see how it opened up but quickly spotted Kenny.

”Kenny; time to go, move move move”

She ran behind him and pushed, shoving him out of the entrance.

”No I wasn’t even expecting you, it would just seem everyone’s finding my little abode today.” I chuckled and wondered what drew so many people to the area today. Although my chuckle was cut short….was that a wolf? Suddenly my igloo shook like something was running into it….I jumped back as the shelves began to collapse and cracks began to run up the walls. Cave in? My heart stopped this was serious shit! ”Umm Sophia chan I think we sho….”

Ok my eyes were popping out of my head; THIS GIRL WAS A WITCH! Well magical girl…..in a REALLY short skirt…I kinda was a shock until BAM in comes a Valdis sliding in on her belly. How did she get here? ”Val?..Woaah” Now I was getting shoved out of my igloo, I began to come back to my senses as pieces of the igloo began falling in. If I didn’t get moving both Val and I would be covered under ice. I dove and slid out of the entrance ….not as successful as Val I ended up half in half out where I had to army crawl out…although midway out I looked up to get a very lovely view of a nice ass cupped so tightly by a white leotard. I grinned and reached up and squeezed.”Will you bear my children?”

Short skirt did it for me what could I say. Suddenly I felt a weight on my back as a loud crunch and crash could be heard as the igloo crashed in on itself.”CRAP!” I pulled myself out of the bit of snow that was covering me and began to dig out. Val was still under there!

The wolf youma glares at Sailor Venus, immediately sensing her as a threat. It had noticed that the other woman had broken loose from the ice trap, but it was far too fixated on Venus to regard her seriously as a threat. As the bow of positive energy manifests in her hand, the wolf darts from side to side, closing the gap between itself and Venus, and at the last moment, darting to her right side before leaping at her, intent on pinning her to the ground!
