Kail walked into the nearest pub he could find and walks in. The pub was a irish themed pub and made the young man slightly at home. Since it was a stone's throw away from England to the emerald isle. Either way the red head needed a stiff drink as to get his head around what happened. About an hour ago, he had transformed into a super hero and killed a monster belonging to the cult. That and a talking cat.

He took a table near the window and sat down and ordered a real warm apple cider. Reaching into his pocket, Kail pulls out his transformation item. A very beautiful and ornate writing pen that was in a hue of dark crimson. "What in the hell has my life turned into" he muttered to himself. Were there others like him out there? Too many question and too few answers. His mind was overloaded and needed something to stop his thoughts going into overdrive.

Aside from that Kail ordered some food since he was very very hungry. Perhaps from transforming into the knight it drained a lot of energy from him. None the less Kail was trying to relax and put his mind at ease.

After being kindly placed back on the ground Val had fallowed Big Red. Last time she had been around these transformed hero’s she had been blinded and burned…So she wasn’t about to let this one get away like the other two. She waved bye to thin air and quickly trotted away from the crime scene, Nazo would most likely see it where ever he disappeared to. She brushed her long locks over her shoulder, and continued to trail her prey.

She trailed in a couple seconds after him, thankful to be out of the cold; where she promptly took a seat in front of him. Her elbow rested on the table as she leaned her head against her hand. Her eyes holding a mischievous gleam.

”A Badly written teenage end of the world horror story.”

She ordered herself something to drink, though really all she did was order some tea with honey for her throat.

"You have no idea" said Kail as his mind was trying to not focus on anything. And was slowly drinking his cider, until a few things came to mind and made his eyes go wide. One there was someone in front of him, two it was the woman from earlier, three she must have saw him when transforming, and four he should have not let his mind wander off like that. So instead of spraying the female with cider he gulped his drink real fast and started to cough.

"What in the bloody hell" Kail said in English as he was caught off guard. His mind was trying to figure out what to do at this point. Instead he went with a calm approach to cover his surprise. Since it would be pointless to fight or try and run away. "*sigh* can I get you a drink" the redhead said in a defeated tone of voice. As Kail was planning to get a harder drink and get smashed. Since his night just got worse right now with this woman.

”I have a small idea.”

She thanked the waiter who brought her the tea and calmly pulled down the black surgical mask to sip the warm soothing liquid.

”At least your badly written story doesn’t involve frilly short skirts.”

Her cool gaze never left him, even when he seemed to bug out when he realized she was sitting there and the implications of what she just said. When offered a drink she held up a hand and shook her head declining the offer.

”Underage, and Daddy wouldn’t approve. I’ll stick with my tea thank you.”

She waited for him to speak next, he probably would have some questions. Until then she was just happy to sit there obviously invading his peace of mind.

Kail just rolled his eyes "Oh I am sure your daddy's princess" he said sarcasticly with a dry tone. He then starts contemplating on what to ask this woman. But goes with the direct approach with things. "I take it your not a friend nor foe. So what exactly are you" he asked and waited for the waiter to come by and ordered a guinness pie and another appile cider.

"Since that woman you were with was not a friendly one" he said trying not to be vocal about what happened. Then thought what exactly she wanted with him. As there were a lot of things coming to mind again. And nothing was coming his way to make sense.

”Sort of…”

Valdis very well knew her Dad had given up long ago trying to make her the model young daughter Japan expected the president’s daughter to be. So to attempt to balance out the craziness she dished out to her father she gave in on some things…If she got to out of hand it would result in restricting the freedom she had. Not something she wanted to do.

Valdis understood where he was coming from, after all her association with the women would be suspicious. That and the fact Nazo made her disappear instead of sticking around.

”That women was the new manager assigned to the Sirens Band…She just started today; I was as surprised as you were when she lost it. I go through mangers like candy, that one was just one of the many. I’m not crazy about being associated with such a person. As for friend or foe, consider me friend.”

She took another long sip of her tea.

”Nazo, the man I was with, says that lady may come back….and she’s not the first one with that type of temper that has popped up around me. Seeing how I’m not as equipped to handle such matters as neatly as yourself, I want to offer you a proposal.”

She trailed off to let what she said sink in.

Kail weighed what this girl was saying to him. For now she was telling the truth to some degree. If she were the enemy though, the place would have been overrun by the cultists or worse. And the other though thought got to him. The monster that he killed was going to come back! It died by his blade "How.....I saw the thing turn into nothingness. It perished on my blade how could it be alive" he said with his face looking a tad surprised.

Either way Kail lets her continue talking until to the point that she was needing some protection. And then leading up to a proposal, it was going to be something he could not refuse. "Lets hear the proposal " he said and just let this girl speak on what she had to offer. Normaly he would be nice guy and well mannered but after what happened. Kail was not in the mood to try and make a move on the ladies.

Valdis shrugged, she wasn’t sure how it worked either but she took Nazo at his word. If he said her manager might come back then she believed she’d be seeing the smiling snake soon. Though it bothered her that the covenant member was actually taking her job watching her seriously.

”I’m not sure how, but if Nazo said it I’m sure it will most likely happen. Which is why I’d like someone around in case it does. I’m not exactly the best person to have the crazy R’ us interested in. While I’m sure Daddy will hire people to watch over me; I’m not exactly crazy about the idea. I like my freedom and his methods would most likely restrict me.”

She finished off her tea and a stray thought came to her about what Nazo said.

”Nazo said something about its energy not being completely wiped out…apparently they don’t go by traditional flesh and blood mechanics. As for my proposal I would like to enlist your help, a bodyguard position. If a sticky situation pops up I’d like you to take care of it, whether it be thugs like earlier, or the crazies that need a bit of a special touch. By the way do you go to Juuban still?”

If he did that would make his job easier; that and she would know how to repay him for his services…though that part she wasn’t going to mention. It was so much more fun to let them come to their own conclusions. At that moment she realized she was a bit hungry, though she would just whip something up when she got home. The servants would have all gone home at that point so she’d have the kitchen to herself. Her eyes widened as she realized something….The trains would be shut down by this time.

”Awww…crap…my manager was suppose to drive me home…”

Probably a good thing that she didn’t, but it did still posed as a problem. She could see the use of those devilish cell phones in situations like this…but she hated them with a passion. Guess she could always walk to the shrine and beg granny for a room again…She looked over at the man she still hadn’t gotten his name.

”By the way my name is Valdis Mortimer, lead singer for the Sirens…well Mortimer Ito is the full last name.”

She figured she’d mention the Ito part…if he was to be her body guard might as well let him know the job would most likely be larger than once thought.

Kail heard the explanation and made him think on the matter. For one thing it was not an earthly creature. So some rules would not be the same. Which ment that Valdis was correct that the monster might come back for a second round. He also wanted to facepalm himself. As it was turning into a super sentai show and in order to kill the monsters a special attack had to be used to kill it. Or some kind of other method.

Then heard for a bodyguard job and was inferring to the fact. That the monster would come back again after her. Or some kind of other kind of creature. He was going to agree to it anyway, one he had the power to at least make them retreat. Two his sense of honor told him that she needed the help. The third and last reason, she knew what he looked like. Kail just keep listening to Val and heard her plight about a ride home.

Then the major bomb was dropped, the girl was in fact an uber celebrity. This surprised him that it almost wanted him to spit out his drink. But did not or have a coughing fit "I'm Killian Lancaster, you can call me Kail if you like" he said introducing himself. "Well, I don't have a car but my home should not be too much of a problem to get to. I can let you borrow my cell phone if you need to get into contact with someone" he said and reaches into his coat pocket and pulls out a red cell phone and places it on the table.

"Order what you want to eat, I'll cover for it" he said and just figured that good karma would come back to him sooner or later.

”Pleasure to meet you Kail, you can call me whatever fits your fancy. Most people do…”

She had so many nick names it was hard to keep track up, but it didn’t bother her she was use to it and most of the time the nick names weren’t even nice. When he pulled out the cell phone she eyed it like a viper about to bite….she HATED cell phones. Evil annoying things…she refused to have one…

”No…no…no need for me to contact anyone…Daddys use to me working late nights and the staffs thankful when I’m not around. Me not showing up for a night here and there is normal especially when a concerts coming up. ”

She took her work seriously; it was the only reason why the agency put up with her. She did her job and she did it beyond expectations. Val smiled and shook her head declining the offer to pay for her food.

”I guarantee I make more money then you in a day then what you do in a month. I’ll pay for my own food”

She did end up ordering some potato soup; again something easy to swallow. When she was done the mask was back up. Her cough was small but she rather play it safe than sorry.

”If we do go back to your house then I’ll be happy to discuss further on what happened today, and other things you should know about being my new body guard.”

Kail nods his head but felt a bit insulted on the inside as he was trying to do something nice. But he did not get into it since she was being nice about it. The redhead puts his cell phone away as his food came to his table. He starts to eat the pot pie like item carefuly as it was hot. It would more then likely burn his mouth if it was not cooled off.

"Right, Well let me just hope that my mother is not into celebrity gossip. I just don't want unwanted attention for you or myself. You know the rumor mills and crap like that" if his mother knew he was looking after a high profile person like Val. It would not be pretty for his personal life. Something that he was not use to and did not want. Since it would cause trouble and stalkers or in this case a enemy youma trying to kill him or worse.

"Eh that's fine with me, I just hope that by the end of all of this. That the earth will be green again under the blue skies again" he said wanting to see the world to where it was before the neo ice age caused by the covenate.

Valdis shrugged, she wasn’t all to worried about gossip columns. But she could understand the inconvenience for him. Press was a hazard that came with her name and her job, though if she was to stay over at his house tonight wasn’t it custom to bring over a gift.. It was rude not to. She ordered some deserts to go and paid for both of their meals.

”Consider this my thanks for helping me earlier, and the desserts a thank you for allowing me to stay. If your mom is celeb gossip type I rather not appear rude. I promise to be on my best type of behavior whilst in the presence of your family”

She placed a hand over her heart and grinned wickedly. Though her expression became somber when he voiced his hopes of the future. So many hopes rode on so little shoulders.

”When it does end I wish to return to my homeland.”

Not permanently of course but for a bit; she had unfinished business there. When she got the desserts to bring back to Kails she stood up waiting for him to lead the way. She did plan on behaving while around his parents, if his mom was a fan she’d have to keep up an image.

Kail visably blushed slightly as he was a gentalman or a self styled one at least. But none the less accepted Val for paying for there meals. He eats the desert and savours it greatly as he ate it. But what she said with the wicked smile just axed that kind of hope. He sighed and prayed that the kami would have some mercy for him. But hears Val drop to a very depressed tone. Which he could understand himself as he was a gaijin.

"Let me get a cab since your not well. And should not be out in the constant cold" he said and went to the bar and talked with the barkeep. The guy nodded his head and made the arrangements and Kail quickly came back to her. "I'll pay for the fare, you just at least relax. I'm going to try and do my job as your bodyguard right now" as Kail was trying his best to do well in this odd situation he was in.

For someone who was just ambushed and convinced into a guard duty job he sure was polite. Well if her dad actually found out she hired a body guard at least he would approve of this one’s manners and probably make a comment about it hopefully rubbing off…she waited for him to come back holding the to go deserts for his family in her hands. When he came back she smiled and nodded at him.

”I thank you; reason I have this blasted cold in the first place was cause I was out in the cold to long with less than warm clothes.”

Although making sure she would relax wasn’t exactly in a normal body guards job description.

”Another positive to taking a cab is I won’t be bothered by passersby, so I like the idea.”

She walked outside of the bar, one of her hands kept warm in the pocket of her leather pants. Her eyes waiting to spot the cab that would be pulling up. The bag of desserts was held by her other hand and casually draped across her shoulder.

”You’ll learn that relaxing is a foreign concept for me. I like to keep busy; and I like to keep moving. I’m up early and go to bed late…you could say that this incident has just given me a rare night off. Since you will be accompanying me most of the time I will do my best to try to lessen my usual activities and bring some of my work home more often so you won’t have to run around as much or have incidents like this happen. I’m usually up and out of the house by six in the morning and already on my way to school, I get there early so I can have some of the practice rooms to myself. While I’m at school I don’t think you’d have to worry about me to much while I’m there. As soon as class lets out I’m off to the shrine to perform miko duties…..As soon as I’m done that it’s back to the agency to work with the band. The next coming weeks my weekends are also filled with band practice. We have a large concert coming up; and we’re pulling something big.”

Valdis usually filled every waking hour with something to do.

”Every now and then I also pull all nighters at the agency”

She was defiantly painting a picture, even at the young age she was Valdis had dedication to her job that spoke to the professional that she was. Though the miko duties defiantly sounded out of place…

Kail gets outside and hopes for the cab to pull up soon, and he starts thinking on what Valdis layed out for him as his duties. Most of it sounded standard things. So he figured how he was going to get to her in the morning. And then in the evening and wished that things were not so icy so that he could use a smaller motor vechical like a motorcycle.

"True, but one must make some time for recreational time and relaxation. Aside from wearing lighter clothing, stress might have caused you to get ill. This is just my opinion though " said Kail and saw a cab coming in the distance.

"Well I am flexable so I can take my work with me. But one thing your going to need and I am going to enforce this is a cellphone. I might not be at your side all of the time. You might need one to get in contact with me" he said saying in a tone that would say your going to listen to me.

Once the cab rolled up curbside Kail opened the door for Valdis. He was then going to go into details later. About what he was going to get out of this. Since she did hold the sword of damaclese over his head. Kail was going to get the most out of this bodyguard job if he could.
