Kousuke having dashed through the back passages finds himself face to face with another batch of ice golems. But since he was at the moment alone he decided a different tactic would suit this situation, and instead of trying to fight the golems he shot towards them, then with a flurry of pivots and jukes he eventually manages to leap over the perimeter, leaving the golems for whoever came next to deal with. If Yuki sees this she might recognize some similarities between these movements and Kousuke’s unorthodox basketball moves from when they played.

“Yahooo!” He shouts as he bursts through the door to the stage doing a flip and landing halfway across the stage with a flourish. However, upon seeing the beautiful youma caressing Venus’s face he looks at the pair in stunned silence.

“Wow, I don’t really want to interrupt a tender moment or anything, but if you two have become friends can you ask her to turn the people back and turn off her golems?” He requests gesturing towards the door.

“As for your ummm, well don’t worry I won’t tell the others.” He says, though despite the comedic response he still seemed pretty tensed to fight.

It startles Sophia to hear the lady speak. Mostly, she wasn’t expecting to hear anything but singing. She nearly falls on the floor, but recovers balance quickly. Sophia is pretty much to the point of sobbing as the lady speaks to her. She still feels like there is something human here even if destructive. She feels like the senshi will bust through any minute to end her life unless she can find some way to stop this.

At the soothing gesture, she hugs the lady, “But you can stop… you don’t have a master. You don’t have to serve anyone. Everyone has a will of their own. And you have a choice.” She just wants to save her and everyone else outside. She wonders why life can’t be more simple…

The lady’s song vibrates through her mind, and Sophia almost wants to stay like this. However, the loud noise of the roof breaks the moment. She spins around to the stage to the sound of the roof collapsing and the sight of of one of the Knights. “Guardian of love and all that, I have tender moments everywhere I go,” she jests back. With more seriousness, she says, “Don’t hurt her. She isn’t evil. She is a person. She is just doing what her master told her, but I don’t think she is evil…”

“I am going to protect you or at least try to. Please stop the golems, and they won't hurt you,” she says and walks to Kousuke, and says, “If you have speck of faith in other people or believe people can change, protect her. Don’t hurt her. I don't think she is herself. I don't think she feels like she has any other choice but to do this. However, that doesn't mean she should be sentenced to die. We should be helping her too, right?”

As she realized it was slowly becoming more difficult to breathe, Yuki was startled to find her hand grabbed though there was no time to think, and she simply began running in the direction in which she was being pulled. It seemed as though they were heading towards the stage through the back way, and when she saw the ice golems form, Sailor Mars stopped, pulling her hand back from the man who had taken it.

She was surprised when Kishin attempted to dodge the golems…his movements appearing strangely familiar. However there was no time to dwell on such minor details.

”Stand back,” she spoke to Kail, not wanting him to get caught in the soon to be blast.

”Shooting Flame Kick!” And with that, Sailor Mars launched a fireball towards the ice golems, intending to simply blast through the monsters so that the others could more easily get to sailor senshi who appeared to be in the youma’s clutches though seemingly unharmed for the moment.

Amarissa heard the loud crash when Kishin broke the wall and something about air and a back way. Not hesitating, she ran in the direction of the loud noise and through the hole in the wall. Pausing, she took a few deep breaths of clean air. "Oh man, that's so much better." she sighed then continued to run down the hall.

Sailor Moon was stopped short by the golems, and looking around she noticed that the other scouts and knight were too. "I'm guessing that Kishin managed to get paste these? At least someone is over there with Venus. Let's hurry and join them," she says to the others. Pulling a few arrows, she shouts "Moonlight Silver Arrow!" and fires one at the center of every golem, directly behind Mars's flame kick.

Killian watches the quick movements of the earth knight as he dogged and weaved through the golems. But his main concern was Sailor Venus as she was slowly getting hypnotized by the youma. This really burned him greatly. How dare this thing to try and convert one of his own allies to there side. That and the fact that Sailor Venus was perhaps a pure soul that was thrusted into this situation.

The knight blinked a few times as he forgot that he had Sailor Mar's hand. He felt movement from his hand as she took her hand from his. Then watched her use her attack on the golems as it went screaming at them. The knight also heard Sailor Moon speak about someone being there for the senshi. He was going to be the second and did not know how long the armor was going to last. But Kail was going to make damn sure that the youma died at the end of this battle.

"That thing is not human anymore Venus you have to understand that. Its too warped even then this thing is the source of the storm! We have to stop it!" he yelled to her. After that though Kail surged forward as quickly as he could behind the attacks of Sailor Moon and Mars. He would use them as covering fire and charge pass the golems. Then strike at the singing youma with his super heated sword at her neck and try decapitate the monster. If he missed or the youma dogged his attack.

Kail hoped that the Earth Knight could follow up with a attack. As Sailor Venus was very unlikely to attack the ice woman. Since she thought that the youma was innocent. In his book these monsters were masquerading as humans. They were not as innocent in his mind nor at the moment redeemable.

Kishin listens to Venus his interest admittedly piqued. Maybe there’s some weight to what she says. Hell it’s not like I know anything about this stuff. Aren’t we heroes? As he thinks this Killian dashes towards the youma, and in a split second he grabs the back of the Mars Knights armor and yanks him backwards with inhuman strength causing both of them to lose their momentum and resulting in a kind of standstill between the two with super strength.

“We’re the superheroes that means we save people in trouble.” He says in a strained voice. “Hey girls! Can any of you clear away taint or mind control?! If so do it!” He calls out to the group.

Amarissa quickly followed through the opening in the golems while they staggered under the attacks. She looked back to see if Mars was following too, and ran smack into Killian and Kishin as they were standing still. "Oof," she exclaimed as she fell on her rear, quickly holding down her skirt. "Thanks a lot, guys. Why are we just standing around?" she looked up to assess the situation. The youma was trying to hypnotize Venus it seemed and from listening to her and Kishin, they didn't want to hurt it. Then Kishin asked about a clear taint ability.

A voice whispered to Amarissa, telling her about something called Pure Soul. She saw an image in her mind of her kneeling next to a figure, then shook her head. "I agree with Killian," she paused, "But I do have a purification ability, I think. Unfortunately, the target needs to be lying still which means we'll have to knock her out." She pointed at the woman.

Anticipating a hopeful look from Kishin and Venus, she held her hands up in a cautious gesture. "I can't guarantee it will work. If she's really not human, or too far gone so as to be practically a demon, then it won't have any affect. That is to say, I cannot purify something that has no Pure Soul left," she explained, looking seriously at each of them. "What, then, will you do?"

The young girl amused the youma. Her pleas for mercy were staying the hand of the ones that her master had warned her about. That such people would attempt such an act instead of fighting the enemy of humanity was unheard of. Back in the day, there were those who tried to protest such things once...believing that perhaps these 'aliens' could be made to terms with. They were especially tasty.

The fact that Killian, probably the most blunt and potentially the most correct right now, was reigned in by one of his comrades, showed that their sense of trust was an absolute. "...I fear that if I stop singing, my master will do terrible, terrible things to me. Things far worse than death..." she says with a depressive tone, a masterful sense of urgency in her voice. She takes a few steps back and looks down and away from the group, exposing her back, as a way of showing that she 'trusted' the senshi and knights.

The youma's eyes glint with a small amount of fear and recognition in them at the mention of the word 'purification'. It was a rumor that certain energies were powerful enough to instantly reduce an entity such as herself into nothingness. If they were all to turn hostile on her at once, it would become an incredibly difficult battle. However...

"..My master is the one who must be....purified. He has a hold on me such that if you were to try to forcefully sever it from me, then I would perish from heart trauma...that is also why I must keep singing...even as I talk to you now...." she says, her eyes turning to face the senshi and knights, showing a rehearsed, desperate need to be 'freed'.

For now, the Ice Golems dissolve into the floor ice.

Valdis ends up taking a substantial amount of poison in, but as the other man is getting pulled through the ceiling, Valdis finds herself teleported out of the area from the increasingly familiar spell that gets on her.

The senshi and knights below would begin to hear signs of a violent battle on the roof. Metal clashing, small explosions, and the ceiling shaking and cracking above them.

As he listens to the woman Kousuke can’t help but think of one simple thing. This story sounds fishy. Can such a sop story actually be real? It sounds like one of those con stories on the street…though I suppose who am I to judge?

He releases Killian after this and simply stares for a couple of seconds, and then looks at Moon and Venus. “Well I guess we should do what we can for her?” He starts to say but then he hears something which causes him to stop talking.

As the sounds of combat are heard from above Kishin looks towards the roof. “Why don’t you guys figure out how to deal with this girl and help her out.” Kishin suggests as he sweeps past the Mars Knight and grabs Yuki. “You’re with me.” He announces and suddenly leaps up onto a balcony and then leaps from balcony to balcony until he gets to the hole in the roof carrying Yuki with him into whatever melee is happening up there.

"Meteor Smash!" Kousuke shouts and a large stone club appears in his hand.

“Thank you,” Sophia says to the knight that holds Kail back. She looks at Sailor Moon with a sort of curious look. She wonders if that the senshi had such an ability why it wasn’t the go-to power in all cases. In her mind, it was always worth the effort to try to save everyone.

She speaks to Kail and Sailor Moon, “They are Covenant, right? They used to be human… maybe still are. Are you telling me that we should give up hope on all those people?! Are we to go kill all of them?” There were a lot of Covenant members. Tons. She wonders whether the plan was to slaughter them all. Additionally, she can’t imagine fixing the world with violence.

Hearing the lady, Sophia picks up no cues of deception, but she does feel worse about the situation. However, as the ice golems disappear, she tells the lady, “Thank you for getting rid of the golems. We will try out best to free you.”

Sophia watches at masked knight takes the fire senshi and goes off. And she realizes that she is surrounded by a less that sympathetic people. “Where is your master?” she asks the lady. The sooner they could figure that out, the sooner they could end this possibly in her mind.

If looks could kill, Kail's would have made the earth knight turbo dead. And as the Mars knight struggled to get out of the hold. His armor faded away. He was not a very happy person "Are you all idiots......this monster is the source of all of this. We keep stalling those people there are going to die" he said pointing to the people that were frozen. He then hears the youma speaking and it just erked him and fed his growing fury. That what she was saying was just honey sweet lies.

Kail sees both the Earth Knight and Sailor Mars leave. Leaving him with Sailor Moon and Venus. He hears Moon speaking about her ability. That was a thankful ability and heard her hesitation but saw the youma's body language shift. When purification could be heard and knew that it feared that word. Body language was something he had to look out for when fighting another person.

"Most of them have lost there humanity and have become evil. There maybe some that want to be human again. Although this one is clearly one that is not human. Plus I could have written better lines then that. I am not fooled. Your going to have to do better then that " said Kail as he gets into a fighting stance. He was not convinced that what she was saying was the truth. Perhaps though he was not a idealist like most of the others.

"Sailor Venus, if you can stop me now you better do it. If not then stand aside now. If those people trapped in the ice are not being drained of there energy. There going to die from frostbite or worse. I am going to save them by defeating the evil that stands in front of me" he said and griped his sword tightly. Then went after the youma making a bee line for it and was going to its midsection.

Amarissa heard the commotion on the roof and before she had time to pick herself up, Kishin and Mars were gone. She climbed to feet, holding her bow in front of her with an arrow ready in the resting position. After hearing everything the youma said, her eyes narrowed in suspicion. She wasn't that convinced of its innocence to begin with but nothing it said made sense. Neither, though, did Venus.

"Well, according to some reports, not all of the Covenant members are human, or ever were. Some came with the Obelisks from space. Others, yes, were altered by power. All beyond the point of sanity, or being human. They are monsters, demons, bent to serve the will of their masters," she said to Venus. Then, Amarissa turned to the youma.

"Something about what your saying doesn't sound right to me, and unlucky for you the Mars Knight has a point. Those people are dying, as in more than one. You, however, are just one of whatever you are that's causing the problem. We take you out, either by purification or death, and those people are free." She moves her bow up, holding the standard archer's pose with the string draw back. "As a Soldier of Justice and Protector of the Innocent, I have to think about what's best for everyone. You are not innocent, you're a danger to society," she states firmly, making her intentions quite clear.

Amarissa briefly looks back to Sailor Venus. "Think about what I said, and what this knight said. Either help us, or stand aside. But I'll not let these people, and all of Tokyo, continue to suffer. The storm will not stop unless we kill her," she said, her voice ringing with truth and determination.

Sighting her arrow, she intoned "Moonlight Silver Arrow" and let fly. If her aim was true, it would hit the youma's chest.

After her initial attack, the remaining golems dissolved back into the floor and Mars ran forward to join the others. For some reason though the group wasn’t attacking and it took her a moment to realize that the one senshi was not willing to attack the youma. All Yuki could think of were the people outside, who could very likely die if nothing was done.

”Look we don’t know if we can save it…but we do know can save those people outside.” In all honesty, she preferred to attack and have this group chat later, time being of the essence. However, before she could, Sailor Mars found herself being picked up and carried up to the roof.

”Hey! Where do you think we’re going,” she grabbed onto him instinctively so as not to fall. Yuki had heard the sounds on the roof, but to her that didn’t appear to be the most pressing issue at the moment. When they got to the roof, Mars quickly pushed herself away from Kishin to stand on her own feet.

On the roof, Kishin and Sailor Mars find the masked man and Scorpio engaged in a particularly violent and intense battle. The masked man was wielding a polearm that looked like the blade curved into the handle, functioning more like an axe with a long blade on the vertical axis than a scythe. The weapon itself was a masterwork, carefully crafted by unseen hands, glowing green along certain lines that looked like written symbols of no known language.

The other man meanwhile stood with a long, pitchblack forked sword in it. Purple and green drops from either end of the blades, his free hand a blur of chaos energy and dark power. He launches an attack at the masked man, who runs towards the bolt, leaping over it and then coming down with a strong vertical swing, forcing the dark man to parry, energy cracking as green and purple sparks emit between the weapon clash.

"...What the hell are you freak..." he growls, as the masked man offers no reply, pushing slowly and making ground against the other.



Meanwhile, the woman in ice glares at Sailor Moon and Knight of Mars. They weren't going for it, and with the other two leaving she was going to have to fend off two attackers, possibly three. The arrows flying at her along with the charging knight made her frown, as she teleports backwards and to the side, falling out of the line of arrow travel and the immediate attack vector of the Mars Knight.

She glares...the energy was running lower from the number of golems that were destroyed...and whether she wanted to admit it or not, these children were much stronger than the normal grunts she had to deal with, the number of frozen bodies she devoured....so satisfying.

"My....so violent..." she taunts...but moments after she says those words and prepares her next course of action, a large quantity of sand falls on her...Valdis' ferret friend making her impact known at last whether through dumb luck of meticulous plot from the furry creature. The sand disorients the ice on her body, and causes it to rapidly dissolve, more quickly than it normally would, perhaps a consequence of magic involved with the water.

When she gets away, she is left only with ice covering her waist and bosom...remaining 'decent'. Along her body are yellow marks that blur and swirl, faintly resembling faces. Where her belly button would be, there is another mouth. This mouth had fangs and claws, but it was where the singing was coming from...however without the armor muffling the sound, the storm grows more powerful, even beginning to ice over the senshi and knights...assuming they don't stay still though, it won't engulf them completely...yet.

"...I will devour your souls and use your energy to destroy this damned city..." she snaps out, any premise of innocent or compassion already gone.


Luna and Artemis watched astonished.

"...I sense living souls inside of her body...probably the essences of her victims outside...that must be what those blurs are..." she says, shivering in fear. The youma in this day and age were of an entirely new level compared to what she was familiar with.

"...Meet your icy grave...I will enjoy ingesting you..." the youma says, holding her hand out, as boulders of ice manifest around her forearm and hand. The spheres launch at Killian, Amarissa, and Sophia, exploding in small bursts of dark frost energy if struck or they hit anything else. However, the frost storm was a bit stronger where Sophia was, and wrapped around her feet, pinning her to the ground. She could get out of the ice with a bit of effort, but not within the two seconds of travel time for the orb.

Artemis, in his feline foolishness, sees the one coming towards Sophia, and concerned that she was unable to get out, runs from his hiding spot next to Luna and leaps up in front of Sophia...

...The cat's form is engulfed in the energy and damage, as a blue flash would occur in front of Sophia, causing Artemis to fall to the ground in front of her. The cat gets up, having a certain magical tenacity to him and glares at the youma.


"Venus..." he says weakly. "...These creatures prey on the compassion and positive forces of human beings...coexistence is a joke to them...humans are just food to them...tools to be used and discarded as they see fit.." he says, breathing heavily. His fur was somewhat seared and it was clear he was damaged, but not life threateningly so.

As the other two senshi prepare to take on the lady, Sophia stands there utterly devastated. The moral dilemma was raging for both sides in her mind. It was a question whether how one could know whether something was a monster or human and whether one could ever be decently sure. In addition, if it was a human, could she take its life even for the greater good. The idea of that wasn’t something she was altogether prepared for.

However, the attacks fail as the lady teleports. She wonders a little why they thought that would work after she deflected the earlier attacks. Though, when the sand falls on the lady, Sophia looks disgusted by the form that takes over.

She wrestles with the orb as she mentally reprimands herself for being so stupid with her life and the others around her. Artemis’ sudden appearance surprises her. Seeing the only creature that seemed to understand her in this mess get hurt breaks some of the mental blocks concerning violence in her mind. The switch isn’t clear except for a pained expression as the cat gets hit.

However, there needed to be some sort of strategy to this. If the monster saw any attack coming, it would just dodge it. She needed to catch it off guard or something. Deception seemed to be their tactic, but was also one that she could use herself.

She sits on the ground, grabbing sand in her hands. “Please… stop…” she calls to the lady as she sits on the ground, hands clenched. “I don’t want to fight… please, just… take me away from here…” she says with the same sad voice that she used to speak to her earlier. The second that the creature turned its purple eyes towards her and got close, she would attempt to blind her with the sand in her hand and then launch arrow straight into that belly button mouth. Hopefully, the other senshi and knight would take the hint to lay into her with all that they had. And hopefully, the plan would work better than all the others. “We can resolve this peacefully, I know we can,” she pleads.
